Welcome to Tiny Town, Oregon-- an interesting town with a misleading name. A home to everyone from the unwitting humans who believe there are no things that go bump in the night to the demon blooded creatures who may see them as a meal. “W-Wait!” He yelled frantically holding his arms up defensively as the other man’s holographic arm passed through his body. He opened his eyes more now trying to recompose himself while Jack continued with trying to rip his throat out. He couldn’t back up anymore than he had, and side stepped the hologram rather quickly. “I told you...” Rhys sighed as he kept his gaze focused on the other in an attempt to watch the man’s every move. “I mean.. how are you here?” He furthered trying to figure out exactly what was going on and if he was just quite possibly crazy.

In a moment Rhys had made his way back a couple of feet eyes wary to leave the other. He finally got the nerve to bring the words to his mouth and hoped they wouldn’t betray him. “Jacks-er-Your office… sir” Rhys felt the back of his knees hit the desk notifying him that he was cornered. “Your not really Here, I mean your dead; Handsome Jack is dead” Rhys gripped the side of the desk trying to find a way to stabilize the situation.

      ❝― I’m dead? I’M dead?❞ Oh, now he’d done it. FIRST this bastard came to HIS office as if he owned the damn place, and then he had the nerve to tell him — HANDSOME JACK – that he was dead? As if he wasn’t standing right before him.

Jack had killed for far less in the past, and all it took were those few words to have him ready to rip this poor kid’s head clean off.

      ❝― I’m right here, you freakin’ idiot!❞ But what did it all matter? He had Rhys cornered and was seconds from tearing his throat out with his bare hands — - it’d be cathartic, poetic justice, really. ❝Y’know what? That’s fine, ‘cause in a minute? One of us will be dead, and I’d hate to spoil things for ya’, but it won’t be me.❞ 

Knowing that Rhys had no place to go, backed into the desk as he was, Jack had made a swift grab for his throat — - only for him to be thrown well through a loop as his hand seemed to never make contact with his victim. If anything, it appeared to faze right through as if the other man was made of air.

If the way the hologram’s brows furrowed was an indication of anything, it was that this was a new development for him too.
