"This sucks," Lup said. Barry made a little "mh-hm" of agreement and raised one of his arms to wipe water from his face.

It was warm enough in here that he had begun to sweat, which was probably the opposite of what he wanted to happen in a shower. But Lup wanted him here so he'd be damned if he didn't even try. Technically, he wasn't in the shower. He was standing against the wall, wedged between the shower curtain. Lup was standing directly in front of him as he scrubbed conditioner into her hair.

He probably should have taken off his shirt, at least. That would have been a smart idea.

"Not you, babe," Lup said.

"Of course," Barry said.

"But like- the situation sucks," she said. "I wanna do my hair and not feel weird about it."

"I get it," Barry said.

Stepping into a regrown version of your body was… an experience, to say the least. It came with some new, unwelcome discomforts. When he was on his own, he had been able to power through for the most part. There was a time on his… fourth? Fifth? body that the sensation of brushing his teeth made him so uncomfortable that he didn't brush them until he died again. And not to mention the idea of wearing socks with his third body. Barry was fine with them now but even recalling it shook him up.

They had tried to plan around the random things that Lup might be uncomfortable with for a while, but it was hard to figure out until they truly knew what was going to happen. It didn't help that half the time they couldn't tell if it was a weird new body thing or a "Lup has not had flesh in ten years" thing.

The past few weeks had been full of experiments and tests to figure out accommodations for the weird little things. They bought new blankets because the ones that they had were too suffocating for Lup to use. He managed to find a sponge that didn't give Lup goosebumps if she had to wash the dishes. They were getting very good at keeping Magnus's tiny dog out of Lup's way because the feeling of her nose rubbed Lup wrong in a very bad way.

They were still having a rough patch with the shower stuff. He felt like they had gone through all the hair care companies on Faerûn to find one that felt okay, but they had quickly run out of options. For now, they had to settle with Barry helping her with hair care because the texture of the condition and shampoo on her hands made her feel sick. Thankfully, her hair was okay. Barry wasn't even going to pretend he knew how it worked anymore.

He leaned back, observing Lup's hair. Barry had never really had hair this long (or this curly) but his muscle memory still seemed pretty intact for what he needed to do. That was one thing he got to keep, at least.

Nope. No. Now was not the time for that train of thought.

"Let it soak for a bit," Barry said, shaking his hands off. Lup glanced over her shoulder at him, smiling.

Gods, he loved her.

She turned her body a bit more towards him, tugging on the collar of his shirt to bring him back in. Barry laughed, meeting her halfway for a kiss. His glasses had started to steam up by the time he pulled away.

"Thank you," Lup said.

"For- for the kiss, or the ha-?"

"Both," Lup said.

"Well," Barry said. "Anything for my wife."

Lup managed to smile a little wider. Barry felt a little stupid, in a good way.

"Love you," she said.

"Love you, too," he said. "Can I, uh, can I take off my shirt? I am getting... very damp."

• Would be a bit surprised when you suddenly handed him a bouquet of flowers.

• Usually he was the one who gave you flowers, especially at the beginning of your relationship.

• But he would take it with a small, nervous, yet really happy smile, and when he asked why you decided to give him flowers you explained it was because he always did so much for others and was rarely recognized for it, so you decided to show him that you do notice and that you appreciate it.

• He would blush instantly and his smile would widen a bit, he knew you and the others appreciated him and all he did without always saying it, and sometimes it bothered him while other times it didn’t, so it did feel a little nice to receive something in return.

• He would set the flowers aside and wrap his arms around you in a warm and gentle hug, he would whisper a soft thank you and would say that he appreciates the flowers, he would then pull away and give you a gentle kiss on the lips.

Hiya anon! Of course you can request these, I hope you like them 🥰! I apologize for them being so short but I did try to make them more detailed to make up for it!

Warnings: None

Context: You heard a couple of girls from another squad talking about how their boyfriends reacted when they pretended to be asleep, so you decided you wanted to try it too and see how your boyfriend reacted!

Yuno:

• When Yuno saw you asleep on the couch in the Golden Dawn’s library he was confused and a little concerned, it wasn’t really like you to still be asleep midday.

• He softly placed his hand onto your forehead, you didn’t have a fever, so why were you still sleeping?

• He walked over to you and gently shook your shoulder, asking if you were feeling unwell, when you replied that you were just tired he nodded.

• You and him had been training a lot the last week so he understood why you were exhausted and, to be honest, so was he, so he told you that it was fine and that you could sleep for another hour.

• He watched as you “fell back asleep” and, after a few minutes, he walked over, grabbed a book, and gently moved your feet so he could sit next to you on the couch and quietly read. If anyone came in and was about to disturb you, Yuno would give them his signature icy glare so they would leave.

Hiya anon! I’m so sorry this took so long to get out, IRL has been crazy and I hadn’t had time to write. But I hope you enjoy this, also I didn’t add the last prompt as I couldn’t figure out how to work it in but I still hope you like it regardless 🥺💕!

Y/N quickly rushed back to the Golden Dawn Base, they had been out shopping in the city when it suddenly began to rain heavily. They really wished they had decided to use their broom to get to the city instead of walking, but who would have thought it was going to rain? Certainly not Y/N.

They had used their Golden Dawn cape to try and keep from getting soaked, but it only did so much. Maybe they could ask Yuno to use his wind magic to help make their clothes dry quicker? They instantly shook their head as they knew he would refuse, saying that even though it would manage to dry their clothes, it would also cause them to get sick.

Y/N couldn’t help but smile a bit, they could just imagine his words coming across as cold and harsh, but in actuality they were full of good intentions and he would just be worried for their health.

“ Y/N,” They suddenly heard their name called and turned to see Yuno standing in the doorway of a restaurant. “ It’s pouring rain, why’re you out here?” He asked with a confused look.

“ I could ask you the same thing, Vice Captain.” Y/N shot back as they stepped out of the rain, they watched as Yuno’s cheeks turned a bright pink. He looked away and rubbed the back of his neck, Y/N almost wanted to laugh as they could see the wheels turning in his head.

“ I came to see you,” He told them honestly, Y/N knew the Vice Captain was honest to a fault, but for some reason his confession still surprised them. They could feel their cheeks burning up and the two stood there awkwardly for a few moments.

“ W-Why did you come here to see me?” They stammered, Yuno blinked a bit.

“ I saw it was about to rain and I didn’t want you to get caught in it.” He muttered before opening the door to the restaurant. “ Come on, let’s get back to the base.” He added, Y/N nodded and followed Yuno inside.

“ How are we getting back?” They asked as they followed him, surely they would be waiting until the storm cleared before taking a couple of brooms back?

“ One of our spaitial mages was in town for some things and he offered to take us back to the base with him.” Yuno explained as they walked over to said spaitial mage. The older man opened the portal and the three Golden Dawn members stepped through it to get back home.

After they arrived, the spaitial mage said his farewells and walked towards his room. When he disappeared and it was only Yuno and Y/N the two stood there awkwardly, unsure what to do next. Yuno frowned as he heard a dripping noise and when he turned to look he saw just how soaked Y/N was from the rain.

Yuno walked determinedly towards the Black Bulls hideout, he was a man on a mission. Today, Asta had informed him that their childhood friend Y/N had been sleeping through all the mission briefings and had only gone on one or two missions since she had joined the squad. This would not do, not one bit.

He didn’t even bother knocking on the door before just walking inside the base. He looked around, it didn’t seem like any of the Black Bulls were here, otherwise they probably would have shouted and tried to attack him by now. He shook his head and began walking down the hall to where Y/N’a room was. He remembered the directions as she was so excited about having her own room that she just had to show him, he smiled fondly at the memory before turning serious as he stood in front of her door.

Yuno knocked on it firmly, awaiting Y/N’s response. When she muttered ‘come in’ he walked in and saw her lying in bed.

“ Yuno? What’re you doing here?” Y/N asked as she sat up and looked at her dark haired friend, she knew something was up since he had his serious scowl on his face.

“ Asta told me you haven’t been going on missions lately, instead you’ve been sleeping or just lying around the Hideout.” Yuno said as he walked over to her and stood next to the bed. Y/N sat up a little straighter and looked down at her comforter.

“ Oh.” She muttered, she could feel her friends scolding eyes staring down at her.

“ ‘Oh’? That’s all you have to say? You’re a Magic Knight, and a strong one at that, but instead of going out there and proving yourself, you’re lying in bed wasting your potential.” She visibly winced at Yuno’s harsh words.

“ It’s not like I choose to be this way, if I could go out with the others and go on missions I would but I can’t.” Y/N argued as she looked up at her friend, finally meeting his gaze. Yuno crossed his arms and raised a disbelieving brow.

“ Really? Then why can’t you?” He asked, his tone slightly more curious than harsh. Y/N let out a soft sigh before looking away.

“ I suffer from a condition called Anemia, it means I have lower than normal Iron and that causes me to be more lethargic and have less energy. I wasn’t diagnosed with it until I came to the Capital and Dr. Owen saw me.” Y/N said sheepishly, Yuno blinked in surprise, his arms falling at his sides.

“ Anemia?” He muttered softly, his voice now full of regret. “ Why didn’t you tell me? Or Asta?” He sat down on the bed next to her.

“ Because I didn’t want to worry you, either of you, you’re both so busy these days trying to become the Wizard King that I figured that I would just be a burden or I would get in the way. So I kept it to myself.” Y/N explained sheepishly, she had always felt like she bothered him and Asta when they were children because, even though she was powerful, she didn’t have the energy or stamina like they did.

Actually I could see them doing max and Laura that would be pretty fun. Painting in literally THEE broadest strokes in the universe dylan and Ryan could also give zvkka vibes, again it’s broad. Zuko can get kinda impassioned and hotheaded which isn’t rly Ryan but they do have this like. carmilla, the cult classic that inspired dracula. carmilla is actually published 26 years prior to dracula and for such an old book, it doesn't feel like one at all. i think what amazes me is such a dreamy, gentle, full of longing portrayal of lesbianism in it which is mindfuckingblowing to me. i think carmilla truly does love laura and (SPOILER BEEP). you dracula daily readers should DEFINITELY read this!

rewatching tanz der vampire das musical. this musical is SO SO SO so gorgeous. the sets, the lighting, the choreo, the costumes fabrics that flow and dance! the vampire gowns are especially done well, i was fascinating to see them move like in a slow motion. i put the trailer below for u to see urself! honestly, after watching so many non-english musical i cant go back watching the half-assed props and costuming they have on US and UK musicals. hamilton with that budget should have extravagant costumes and several sets and backgrounds. but noooo, all those money stolen from global south is going to baby-exploding murder machine. not that europeans are innocent, but at least more of that blood money are going to make things that are so extravagantly pointlessly beautiful and harmless, so have my blessings on that.
