Childhood friends to lovers done right! My favorite show of the last year. It is a slooooow burn but it's so worth it! Very lively and real boys. great family and friend dynamics, kind of meh last story outside of CakeEwi but still…If you want some great friendship slowly blooming into romance this is the show

3. Kieta Hatsukoi (2021)

Super cute show. All characters are amazing, story well written, minimum hurt all the comfort. Good girl-not an enemy (im really easy too please ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀) xd)

This one is good!

6.Color Rush (2020)

I love soulmates. Its short, simple story but with very interesting and original idea.

7. Hello Stranger (2020)

Such a simple story but the way it was done is amazing! Falling in love through web camera (੭ ˊ^ˋ)੭ ♡ Characters have such an incredible chemistry even tho they have minimum personal contact(kudos to actors they done well)))

I Will Knock You (2022)

happy new year! ; my farewell letter to 2023.

last year, ive written a similar farewell letter to 2022 and i want to make this a little tradition - so here's my second one <3

okay, so - wow. first of all, just wow.

this might be incredibly bold to say, but i think this has been my best year to be alive (i promise you i do not want to sound corny about it, but i really think 2023 was amazing for me.) of course, many things happened. im at my last year of senior high before i go to college, which is very scary but i hope i can be brave for it. school has been actually very generous to me recently, despite a few minor setbacks that looked very major when i was going through it, but overall it was very generous to me. but irl rambling is boring, so let's talk about my selfshipping blog!

last year, i had a verrrry firm grip on a previous f/o that im 100% sure old followers know - though im a little sad I can't find that spark to focus on him again - the shift in media has helped me find new f/os that i can say has been incredibly memorable to me. as we all know, im in a very INSANE pokemon brainrot since november or october(?) of 2022 and it has still remained heavily active in my head right now - which i honestly didn't even know i had the full capacity of doing! I don't know what magic this game did to me but i promise you im so happy i revisited this game again.

i would talk about how grateful i am to everyone has been supportive and sweet about my romantic f/os but i think the best highlight of my blog is my newfound love for my familial f/os - before that, i never had a single one on my list because i was simply quite disconnected to the family love concept, but after indulging myself in pokemon - i would come to discover pokemon adve.ntures, or poke.spe for short hehe. i have so many fond memories of finding myself wanting to read more and MORE - i would have every chapter downloaded beforehand just so that i can read it in my spare time, not even school that demanded my attention would stop me from sneaking my phone to quickly read through the manga LMAOO - but consuming the media itself wasn't enough, i needed people to understand the ROLLERCOASTER of emotions i had while reading and well, i think its very clear who those people were, the ones who came to save my miserable ass from (insert shocking scene in poke.spe) AHSJHSHSJSJS you know who you are and i appreciate you forever and they - i kid you not, helped me create something wonderful!

but of course, the video games were just as amazing. would you believe me if i told you i played gens 1 to 7 in one year? that's how much i adore the game and i still have yet to catch up to other games like the spin offs :] im not sure how to end this statement but. im so happy appleshipping and memoryshipping exists 🥹 i usually don't like thinking that they'll be with me forever because i believe nothing lasts for eternity but i just wanna say that they were just ... im just so contented 🥹 again, all of this actually would not have been so impactful to me if it weren't for my awesome mutuals hearing me out about it and supplying me with even more ideas - these mutuals would also end up becoming such loving friends of mine that helped me get out of my comfort zone and im still happy they're around (hi guys!) 💚

oh! and, what a surprise, i never thought id have an oc f/o! i initially thought that this was so impossible to do but?!??;?! it just happened i guess!!!! i keep surprising myself this year 😭

ok now here's the obligatory art summary for the year 💥

literally the best thing i ever done with my art is try using csp and it actually really helped me change the way i draw, and i even managed to cross out a few items in my last year's resolution thanks to it! i still bounce between using ibispaint and csp but i certainly improved!

the last thing im forever grateful about are the people who has been consistently supportive of my art - especially the commissions, i can't stress it enough how much it has helped me outside and it allowed me to go beyond my comfort zone when it comes to my drawing skills :']] thank you all so much

and finally, big thank you to everyone who sent me nice letters to my tree 🥹💚 its a gentle reminder that im actually ... pretty cool ig 🥹 and if you didn't send one, that's also ok!! you're still cool for reading this mwamwa

hi- (warning: long post/rant, tldr at the bottom)

i've being thinking about (grieving over) rise lately with my friends and like- i am so mad bc we got all of season 1

then season 2 was cut in HALF, forcing the team to do their thing and complete the WHOLE SERIES in FOUR EPISODES and they only had FOUR MONTHS to do it (which they did and its absolutely amazing)

then we got the movie in Aug 2022, which is probably the last Rise we'll get, what with the Mutant Mayhem movie coming out this year. 

the real reason im mad is bc the creators of the show had planned for the show to be like 5-7 seasons, like PRETTY MUCH EVERY OTHER TMNT SHOW, and it only got 1.5 seasons, even though it may be better than other versions: the TEN SEASON TOY COMMERCIAL that was the 1980s cartoon, and all the different archs and seasons that 2003 got, which confuse me to this day being two examples of this, and so bc of the longer nature the show was intended to have, there are storyboards, deleted scenes, and rough animations out there that will never be completed by the actual team (shout out to all the AMAZING artists and animators recreating deleted scenes and revamping rough sketches and storyboards, as well as the rise season 3 fan project, ilysm thank you for doing the lords work)

the quality of the show, from the animation, to the voice acting, to the overall plot, to the comedy, to its ability to be darker or more serious when it needed to, to its amazing representation, not only in its casting but also its coding, was beyond SSS tier.

it was beautiful, and im so sad we wont get that ever again, not in the same way we did.

i dont wanna give up hope, there have been shows that were cancelled that came back, but mostly i just feel for the staff and cast, who you could tell really truly loved this show. they loved working on it, and they loved sharing it with us, i am so grateful for what we were given, but so mad that these people were forced to move on from something they loved.

TLDR; i love rise, its staff deserved better, amazing show, im sorry for the essay

KAT'S 2022 YEAR REVIEW & THANK YOU NOTE

well hello there everyone. i'm not sure if this is still a thing this year because i haven't seen anyone doing this (or i just wasn't tagged in one at all sdjfkfkf) but that won't stop me from writing another year review and saying thank you to my wonderful internet friends!

at the end of last year i finally moved out of my parents house so i've been officially living alone for a whole year now and i'm proud to announce that i still live haha its not easy sometimes and it's hella expensive but i enjoy it nonetheless. i continued decorating and furnishing my apartment and it slowly but surely became my comfy little corner on this earth and im very proud of it :3

i know i said last year sucked and i was hoping for a better one in 2022 but boy oh boy was i wrong lmao

this year was shite. like utter shite. i didn't get a job that i enjoy doing or pays well BUT at least i still have a job lol the job sucks and sometimes i wanna jump out from the 3rd floor window but i managed to make wonderful friends among my colleagues so i'm definitely thankful for that. i only work there for 7 months but i already feel like we've known each for years and they definitely make working there bareable.

this year i also finally get to meet my bff (braincell for life), Ariana (@queenofthefaceless) in person and i am very much grateful for that. i'm sad no more meeting could happen in the rest of the year but maybe in the next one 😉❤

towards the end of the year i started working out again because i gained a little bit of weight and altough i became much more confident this year, it started to bother me so i'm proud of myself for not letting it slide and now i'm mostly focusing on getting my strength back i used to have instead of being the couch potato i was all year lol and one of my new years revolution for 2023 is to eat healthier and work out even more.

and yes i am still not over the fact that you guys putting out those wonderful fics for us for free. you still rock !! 💜💜

next year i will continue to hope for a better job, one that i enjoy and pays better (or at least one of these lol) and to be even more confident and open to new things ( and finding a rich husband 🙏)

hi beautiful people of this blog! i just want to give an update on me and just say a few things before i go to sleep lolol. (it’s late night feels)

first off, thank all of u for the love my works have been getting. i’m so beyond grateful. i’ve been so swamped with school and i’ve started working towards getting my drivers license so i really want to do well with that. just know i have seen the reblogs and all the sweet comments on hidden lights, and i want you to know that it really means so much to me. thank you so much. you don’t even understand.

it’s honestly so crazy to me. i started writing for mashle in like 2022 maybe? it wasn’t a lot considering how on and off i was with writing, but i pushed out a few things and just didn’t expect a lot out of it because the mashle community was just so so small.

one day i opened tumblr, and i think at that point i hadn’t opened it for two or three weeks (maybe even a month?), but i just remembered opening it and having 99+ notifications and my jaw fell. i opened my works to see hundreds of likes, and i was in disbelief. i hadn’t known the mashle community had grown so much. i loved mashle for such a long time and seeing so many fans just warms my heart since this manga has provided me with so many laughs and comfort over the years.

that’s why i really want to be better this year and write more. i love this community so much and i want to be able to give back to it in my own way. plus, i want to be able to expand beyond that too. i seriously love blue lock and kuroko’s basketball too and i have so many stories conjuring up in my head. i swear if i don’t get them out i’ll go insane. so i will wholeheartedly try my best to be on top of writing and be active on here. i’ll try to interact more and learn how to use this app (im so lost).

just please bear with me and be patient with me as i try to balance everything and rebuild my energy. i am seriously just a girl just moving through life 😭😭.

Hi Sensei mun!! I know you didn't reblog the final words for 2022 before the new year but I wanted to write something to you. <3

I wanted to say first of all, thank you for being a friend and having my back. Back then when I found your blog, I really looked up to you and reading the older stories you wrote to now. True, I wasn't following at the time but I can't remember if you followed me or I did. But, I'm happy that I did.

Since then, you and I have grown to be wonderful friends and so have our muses too. Well, more closer to them being married with beautiful babies or dating till they get together which is so cute!! I love the ships we made with our boys and I just love it!!!

I always love seeing you on my dash because you always bring a smile on my face. Being able to see you always tells me my friend is having a nice day. But if you weren't, I would be here for you if you ever want to vent.

I always feel grateful for you having my back and doing everything to help me feel better after a bad day. Writing these amazing stories with you always made me happy because it leads to more crazy but cool adventures for our boys. So I wish to thank you for such beautiful memories. Same with your boys too.

For my final words of 2022, thank you so much for being there for me. Thank you for being my close friend, And thank you for always bring a smile to my face. I always will keep these precious memories to my heart.

Hiiiii Hime-samaaaa!! Not an ask but I've been meaning to pop in and drop you some props! I'm a newer-ish lurker and follower for like a year or so and your content and overall vibe that you share has been so helpful for me during one of my roughest years but these audios have been such a comfort dunno if it's just like your quality character portrayals/immersion (b/aku is also my fave but I love them all especially the way you portray and personify them!) that takes me to another place or bc horni brain cancels out all the other negative shit or what but they get me by when shit is hard so want you to know that what you do is probably more significant to some than you realize!

Also, because it seems like you can be hard on yourself and I know most of us can, it can be easy to recognize when we fail and let that weigh on us but not so much when we succeed or do well and I've been meaning to say that since new years of last year you had set out some goals for yourself and it sounds like you really did achieve and accomplish more than probably give yourself credit for! At least as far as I can tell since following your blog! Found a job and started working again, started doing things you enjoy like going to cons and cosplaying again, getting married, creating and sharing so much content, and I'm sure way more but like I look at the list of all the audios you completed this past year on just this small side of a niche hobby/kink and I'm sure you've done even more in your actual life and just wanted to say that I'm incredibly proud and happy and continuing to root for you and hope that you've seen these wins and if no one else has pointed it out I definitely wanted to encourage you and I'm grateful that you are here and that you seem to be thriving! I'm sure there will always be bumps along the way as we all figure this life shit out but I believe in you and you're an incredibly talented person and hope that this year continues to be even greater and everything that you could want and more! <3

A typical year-end reflection

this very video just showed up when I was up for youtube days ago. it did bring me into tears, like?!?! I do have a little convo with my younger self whenever I am down, feeling weak, and unworthy. as far as I remembered, this is one of a psychological therapy called inner-child therapy, which the person attempts to heal on his/her own by having conversation with his/her younger self, giving the younger version of him/herself full attention especially positive affirmations. I HV BEEN INTO IT FOR LIKE 4 YEARS? AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT SOCIAL MEDIA HAS MADE IT INTO TREND.

probably you've known me for a long time and you've thought that you've deeply known who I am as well as my ups and downs and I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE because you made me who I am today. little do you know, I had did a lot of bad things to myself including suicidal ideation (oops, im so sorry if you're triggered). and those bad things led me to find professional helps in various types. besides the breathing techniques, this inner-child therapy really worked for me till this day.

mmmm, so.. this is me sharing my year-end thoughts as I had a convo with my younger version-- which I hope that you'll find it fruitful for you.

mini-me: "are we living the dream to be a basketball player?" me rn: "we had to quit for the better one."

mini-me: "a happy family?" me rn: "dad passed away years ago yet we are a family full of laughters and tears together. a stronger family. oh yea, even we started a family just a year ago.."

mini-me: "definitely with a handsome man, isn't he?" me rn: "haha, in our 20s, appearance doesn't matter at all. as we grow to be mentally mature, we found the one who is mentally mature as well. the one you've been looking for, I bet!"

mini-me: "how about mama and nisa and mail?" me rn: "they are still incredible, they raise us up <3"

mini-me: "do we still love food?" me rn: "HAHA NO DOUBT."

mini-me: "soo what do we do for a living?" me rn: "we do that one thing that we've always loved to do. and it made us totally shining. teaching!!"

mini-me: "NO WAY!! for real? an educator, for real?!" me rn: "yup!! FOR REAL. It started to feel like a lifestyle rathen than a job now"

mini-me: "are we happy?" me rn: "of course! we are the happiest on earth"

dear, myself. thank you for hanging there despite of the challenges, discouragements, and any kind of terrifying moments that you've been facing. thank you for showing up even though waking up from your bed was your biggest achievement. thank you for being faithful to The One and Only Who Has and Controls your life, knowing that He SWT will always got your back no matter what the situation you are in. thank you for believing in yourself when no one's doing it, even your closest ones. thank you for keeping yourself attached to your own joy and happiness in a world full of lies and tricks. thank you for staying true to yourself that it is okay to be not okay, to feel sad and to cry your heart out. thank you for pouring your heart into things that you love, to the ones you love and make you feel important. thank you for seeing the beauty in everything, shifting your negative mindset into the positive one and being content with every single thing that you have. thank you for choosing to not postpone your happiness with x-y-z achievements, because you know that happiness is within you and you are already happy on your own. thank you for giving yourself some rests, pauses, and moments of silence in order to be recharged and fulfilled. you are amazing, worthy of love, brave, beautiful, patient, free, and the most important thing that you are you and there's no one like you <3

Jimin’s eyes roll back, displeased to see Taehyung at your door, get well soon package in hand and a shameful expression painted on his face. “She said I could come over to pick up some notes…” The taller boy mumbles, abashed that even with all the trouble he caused you, you still prepared what he needed, just as you said. “I’ll leave after I make it right.”

“You hurt her, I’ll hurt you.” Is all your roommate grumbles out before stepping aside and letting the slightly unwelcome guest into your humble abode. “You know where her room is.”

A gentle knock sounds at your door, but your head feels too tight for you to do anything about it besides blow into another tissue. “Jimin I don’t want to talk about it—”

“I’m not Jimin…” He murmurs, eyes failing to meet yours from the guilt pitted in his stomach. “Before you kick me out, I just wanted to give you these. This is soup, your mom’s recipe, some cough and flu medicine my grandma used to use when I got sick, and a weighted blanket because I know how much you’ve been wanting one.”

He flinches as you hack loudly, eyes red and puffy, struggling to focus on his face. “How did you get in here? We changed,” you choke out another cough, “we changed the locks last week and I haven’t given you a key yet.”

Trying not to smile, he mumbles. “I might’ve told Jimin you knew I was coming. In my defense, I just wanted to give these to you in person and apologize again, although I know that apologies don’t do much…”

His head hangs low as his voice fades away, and you can’t help but shake your head at him. “I’m not mad anymore Taehyung. I’m sorry for overreacting yesterday, I was just upset.”

“I get why. I’m not reliable or a good friend, really. I don’t know why you keep me around.” He chuckles a bit, setting the things he brought for you on your bed gently before straightening back up. “You deserve a better best friend than me, huh?”

You shake your head. “No, you’re amazing, honestly I don’t think I deserve someone as sweet and thoughtful as you half the time.”

“You’re just saying that.” He laughs, the two of you falling into your usual banter. After a bit, he winds up beside you, the two of you watching an old comedy flick when he leans closer to you, closing his eyes as he leaves a kiss on your head, his lips lingering as he maffles against your skin quietly. “No date is worth more to me than you are, I promise. You’re the most important person to me.” His body gradually begins to shudder against you as a quiet sob leaves his lips. “I’m so sorry…”

Somehow, even when he messes up so grandly, you always end up letting him off the hook, even comforting him when it truly should be the other way around. Your hand rubbing his back to soothe his sadness while nobody’s there to wipe your own silent tears.
