2: Do you plan out your chapters?

Yes! Anything that isn't a one shot is outlined. I used to write exclusively by the seat of my pants and I still do that for one shots, but I've found that outlining really lets me shape the story ahead of time and also keeps me from going off on tangents that'll derail the whole plot (adhd gang lmfao) 💙

47: How many times to you revise/outline before posting?

I don't have a set number of times, essentially I just write until the chapter feels done, scan for any obvious grammar fuckery, harass my bestie/beta to read it and then I add/subtract her suggestions, and then I do a last once-over before posting 🧡

hmmm don’t really have anything that straight up makes me go “ick 🤢”, like i’m very chill about anything. Especially mess haha

I do dislike sneezes that sound too cutesy I guess? Like the whole smol n’ girly kittenish “chieww!!” is more distracting than anything. I prefer a natural n’ masc snee 😅

Oh and also getting snzblocked by muffled sneezes – in my head i’m like nuuu free the sneezes xD In certain snzarios it can work for me tho

For the wip titles meme, I'd love to hear about "Blinded"

In "Blinded," Carter is doing whatever chemistry stuff down in the tunnels and manages to cause an explosion that very quickly leads to a cave-in...and also causes Carter temporary blindness (which he doesn't quite realize right away, as cave-ins tend to be rather dark). That's about as far as I got, unfortunately. Maybe someday I'll figure out what to do with Carter not being able to see for a little while. Maybe I'll rewatch the M*A*S*H episode "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" at some point for inspiration.

most of the year i do, i only close it when it's raining, it's hot enough for me to have the AC on (>85F/30C) or colder than like 40F/5C at night

5. what color are your eyes?

i've always called them hazel or green-hazel, they have a brown inner ring/central heterochromia with a greenish outer ring. the green is pretty desaturated tho, most people think i have light brown eyes unless we're close or i'm wearing red lipstick (shout out to one of my best friends who didn't realize half of my eyes were green for 10 YEARS)

27. about how many hours of sleep did you get?

last night i slept for about 9 hours, most days it's usually like 7-8

40. did you have any snacks today?

this morning i had a little bit of sticky rice with cashews and chocolate chips with my morning coffee and i just ate a box of vegan chicken tenders with thai tea (okay kind of big for a snack... to me it's still a snack tho <3)

Streetkid Val burrows under the covers and looks at her phone until her eyes droop and she finally puts it away. Corpo Val loves bad reality TV. It's her one real indulgence. She usually watches an episode or two in bed before she falls asleep.

For both versions of Val, sometimes blocks or corners in Watson make her nostalgic. She hates it, because usually it makes her remember being small and alone after Virginia died.

Maybe i’m dumb but the kiss was a dream right??? I thought it was the whole time but then at the end I got confused if it was dream or not? Also i’m excited for them to start their relationship. I like florence and Van together it’s so fun and fresh it feels. Also them living together is so cute to me because it makes you closer to someone so I’m hoping it will be good for them. One more questions before I go. Will the story end after they go to Portugal or will it continue with them? Are you only making 1 part to this book?

You're not dumb! The kiss took place in the dream but it felt real and they'll remember it. Meanwhile, they’re actually sleeping so the kiss didn’t happen but the feelings are still there. Idk…there’s something sweet about it just being the both of them. Only they know what happened. 🥰 Hopefully this makes sense!

And I’m glad you like them together! I was worried people wouldn’t like Florence so I did my job. 😁👍 Sorry things have been slow! I’m trying to make their relationship seem genuine. And I love making people live together. It gives me more stuff to write about.

They’ll come back from Portugal and I’ll write what happens after. My hope is that the ending feels complete and a Part 2 won’t be needed. But this is coming from someone who said Mirror and Mission wouldn’t have sequels and look what happened. 🤣 So I guess never say never. This is the longest story I’ve ever written though.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but who do you think Norway's best friends are?

Apart from the obvious choice (Scotland), definitely England and Sweden! There is no other country Norway is closer to than Sweden, both cuturally and geographically, and the understand each other on a deep level. Norway and England has always been good friends, with Denmark-Norway more often than not allying with him throughout history and they share many similar interests.

Also The Baby Grand Piano? :3

That one takes place just after Don's first film as a big star. He's just bought his big mansion for himself and is going around trying to furnish it. Cosmo pops in (unexpected and technically uninvited, but always welcome) and is surprised to find a baby grand piano on Don's list of furniture he needs to buy. Now what does Don Lockwood need a baby grand piano for*? Why, for his best buddy Cosmo, of course! How else is he going to get his friend to hang out with him at his place? (The good company and the fully stocked kitchen were reason enough, but Cosmo isn't about to complain 😀)

*I wrote this on the assumption that Don doesn't play the piano, but I'm not 100% sure; I've got to watch the movie again to double check that detail.
