If Bunga, Ono, and Beshte DID adopt a kid, what species do you think they would be and what would they be like?

If Beshte, Bunga and Ono were to adopt a kid they’d be a ball of sunshine!!! Extremely reckless and hazardous (courtesy of Bunga), extremely particular about their looks (courtesy of Ono), and extremely friendly (courtesy of Beshte). I like to think baobabfruit kid would be the type of kid you kind of need on a leash, not because they’re mischievous and troublesome, but more so because you’ll find them in the weirdest and most frightening situations. eg: baobabfruit kid will be found trying to make friends with a deadly predator (trying to make friends from Beshte, and absolutely no fear of the predator from Bunga). point is, kid’s gonna have a bunch of traits from all three of them!!

Baobabfruit kid will also be inheriting traits from their aunts and uncles, especially competitiveness from Fuli. they’d also be super good at getting away with trouble because they’ve inherited that innocent look from Beshte, but also would be good at escape routes because one of their dads is the smartest!!! doesn’t mean they’ll always act logicially tho, I mean. cmon they’re Bunga’s kid.

overall just a ball of energy and sunshine and kindness and care and concern for everyone around them. definitely wanna go more into how they’d be like in another post! as for species.. haha. Cough. please help me decide a species guys I am Struggling because I don’t wanna choose like an apex predator predator bcoz ??? idk parents are all omnivore herbivore range. but also why does africa and india have little to no cool omnivores/herbivores. but yea I’m vv much open to suggestions for this little fella’s species!!

Thank YOU for the positive feedback! I constantly worry that I'm overtagging; I know that some people don't like so many tags. However, I want the things that I reblog to be seen in the proper, standardized tags. I want you all to get the proper exposure! Plus, I have OCD so I feel anxious if I think that I've missed a tag for something. To hear that at least some folks appreciate my system is very gratifying as well as relieving!

How well would your OCs do against a cockroach tag game

Rules: rate your OCs by how well they'd do against a cockroach.

@space-writes this seems like a fun game, sorry it took me a bit to get to. I've dealt with cockroaches before (such as in my childhood home in Oceanside, California) so this one was pretty easy for me to imagine with some of my characters.

I'll tag @aether-wasteland-s and @gummybugg (no pressure tho)

Rina Woodshed: - Would probably find the bug interesting - Catches it in a jar and gives it a name - Her mother would get mad at her and make her release it - 8/10, Would probably cause some damage chasing it

Lafayette: - Foxes eat insects, so I could see him eating one as a snack - 9/10, Point deducted because even if it's true it's still gross XD

Sonja Kruger: - Has a strong aversion to bugs/filth due to her past - Would have an immediate anger response and try to kill it - 6/10, Definitely would cause some collateral damage due to flinging around her ice magic willy nilly.

Vernar: - Would just zap it without hesitation - Might make it come in contact with any others nearby to also gain control of them (proxy zapping) - 10/10, Would either make them march harmlessly away so Sonja doesn't freak out or use them as reagents in a potion.

Ven of House Samoa: - Immediate freak out - Not used to seeing bugs at all because his house is so clean - 0/10, Would flee and require one of his servants to take care of it

Sachin Mishra: - Has dealt with this problem before because he lives in California. - Immediate lock-down and sanitation of his place, sealing food in special containers, finding and getting rid of stagnant water sources, and spraying the crap out of his apartment (face mask + dual-wielding cans) - Consequently, this would lead to his apartment becoming the cleanest it's ever been in a while once everything is taken care of - 10/10, A true roach hunter.

Nikki Lang: - Would have a heart attack at the sight - Said freak out would probably happen during her streaming and get clipped, ending up on youtube - Has no idea how to deal with them but would probably grab like a belt or a boot - 3/10, Has to get over initial fear reaction to do anything but is ready by the second encounter.

Sofia Mary Lang: - Treats the issue very seriously - Doesn't want an infestation to affect her business or her daughter's well-being - Would shut down the bakery and salvage what goods she can - 8/10, Wouldn't deal with it personally, would just call in an exterminator

There were so many characters of mine I could consider for this, so I decided to pick from a handful of my different "groups" so there was a varied spread of reactions. XD

Okay, I'm not gonna question why you need to know, so, I think she'd be either a C cup or a D cup. Maybe somewhere in between those.

Also, I love how you love my 2nd OC for the fic~! 🥰

If the mannerisms aren't an apparent giveaway already, she's Kaito's niece and based off Achilles, son of Thetis. Her first name, Yuuko (changed to Yuuka (勇花) in future edits), has the kanji for courage (勇) and references how Achilles was a brave warrior in the Trojan War. Her surname, Ogawa (小川), has the kanji for river (川) and references the fact Thetis dipped Achilles into the River Styx to become invulnerable.

Also, I wrote in Takao mentioning the scooter accident as a reference to both Achilles' heel and the ever common story of children getting hit in their ankles and heels by their scooters.

Anyway, thanks for liking the new OC and I hope you this chapter and the ones yet to come~

Sure thing!! The first is from a human Shockwave AU that I want to bake a little longer, and the second one is a little short, but it's the start of a Jason/Nikki confession story.

“Your impatience is likely to have both of us killed.” Shockwave notes. Flatline smiles again, a chuckle humming in his vocaliser. He looks down at Shockwave from his full height, and Shockwave’s hand twitches at the knowing look in his optics; He knows that Shockwave, like all humans, is made of flesh and bone, far more delicate than Cybertronian biology. It would be logical for Flatline to see him as a fragile source of entertainment, a pet at worst. Logical, but frustrating.

“You like having me around.” Flatline says with certainty. Shockwave watches him rifle through the holster attached to his hip, plucking one of the many liquid-filled cylinders between his clawed digits. Flatline turns the cylinder this way and that, examining the contents before his gaze falls back to Shockwave, and he lowers to a full kneel in the dirt. “I’m the only expert in Cybertonian biology who’s willing to help you.”

“You are temporarily useful to me.” Shockwave takes a step closer towards him, “That is an adequate reason to lower my defences.” The cylinder’s contents are bright blue, not unlike Flatline’s accents, but closer to liquid electricity. Bubbles of oxygen float to the surface when Flatline’s servo dips, presenting the object to Shockwave. Shockwave’s gaze is unmoving from the liquid, and he places a hand on the container’s surface. Because of his glove, it’s impossible to ascertain temperature, but the sensation of it is somehow enough to prove this is something promising. His voice lowers in volume when he asks, “What is it?”

“Energon.” Flatline replies.

The words zip past his ear like a wing beat. There one moment, gone the next. Jason looks up from his conjuration circle, blinking in confusion and disturbed concentration. The only other person in the room is Nikki, sitting in an armchair pushed against the wall to allow maximum room for Jason's spell. He's sitting horizontally across the chair, back turned, currently engrossed in his phone. Faint music grumbles from Nikki's precious headphones. His attention couldn't be any less on Jason, and the occultist frowns before returning to his previous task. He closes his eyes, focusing on the energy underneath his fingertips, the glowing chalk symbols drawn into the floor.

I love you.

Jason huffs and opens his eyes again, looking around the room once more with increased irritation.

Do you have a favorite bob/linda/Teddy moment from the show?

I managed to come up with one almost immediately! What a surprising turn of events for me. XD Usually these kinds of asks sit in my inbox for months. Anyway--

Teddy is Bob and Linda's biggest cheerleader in "Go Tina on the Mountain" and he's adorable in every scene. Teddy is so genuinely sweet in how much he loves Bob, Linda, and Bob and Linda together. All of his scenes are gold, especially when he's like, "There's watching hockey with a friend," and Linda's totally up for it. XD

However, my absolute favorite scene is when Teddy says, "This time is a gift. It's a chance to reconnect with one another." We know that Teddy's own marriage was a disaster, plus he grew up in a dysfunctional family. He's trying to help his friends avoid those tragedies. Even though Bob and Linda are so happy and stable, Teddy doesn't want them to miss out on any time together.

Teddy obviously has a crush on Linda and there's subtext that he also has a crush on Bob. Teddy has made snide comments and talked some smack before about both Bob and Linda. However, not-very-far-down-at-all, Teddy truly appreciates and respects Bob and Linda's relationship. He wants them to be happy together as a couple. He's their biggest cheerleader, even as he aches for what they have. Teddy would rather be alone (the sentiment is made comedic at the end of the episode when he moves on down the block to avoid the vomit smell) than see Bob and Linda unhappy.

I just really love their friendship, everyone. T_T
