it’s so fucking funny tho that even brno 2003 had to be [redacted] from the narrative
#I mean alongside with other like 5 or so absolute all timer races he had with sete…….#(and they had like other 10 great races sfdfghjk)#I’m thinking of that one article where vale at length discusses his favorite/most important race wins and what not#and sete and their races together are completely absent from it…….#valentino even names brno 2001 as one of his faves?!?? which is like be so for real😭#gonna start a conspiracy that he named that one purely bc he didn’t wanna say brno 2003 👍#also jerez 2005 vale has sometimes talked about over the years bc that one is controversial™️ but even then he ‘forgot’ about it during#that 2017 presser…..

your top 5 fave motogp races? or alternatively what races you’d show to a newbie to get them into the sport or smth
one of those things where it's painful to pick five, but at least this ask gives me the chance to hedge my bets and pick five different races for each category (most of these races will be featured in the recs lists; 27, 4+93, 46)
laguna '08: works wonders to bring both that season and the rivalry alive. delightfully visceral and vicious, there's few duels that tell you quite so much about both participants. I have lap-by-lap notes for this race. I have points tables assessing how much of a turning point it was in the season. I have read the bit in casey's autobiography about this race about a million times. how their expectations going in influenced the dynamics of the race, how the slower man won the race, what valentino was attempting to do to casey, casey's response... I could quite literally talk about this race forever
phillip island '17: idk I don't think this is objectively 'better' than the other two infamous dogfights of that era (pi '15; assen '18), but sometimes you just notice which one has the most rewatch value for you... I really like races where risk/reward calculation is a big deal, where at least one of the riders is having to actively judge how much they're willing to do to win... with the hard style of racing in this one, those calculations feel particularly present. phillip island is in such a perfect calendar spot for generating maximum drama
misano '17: maybe the quirkiest pick. marc is too good and too successful for me to ever really have been 'stressed' watching him in his prime, but bloody hell did he run me close here. something so satisfying about being so adept in wet/mixed conditions... love the spite element of this race, love the risk/reward calculations, how marc just needs to go for it in the very final lap, his dogged determination... a race where he doesn't have a massive margin over the field but just wants it so so badly that he goes for it. he's making a statement, bouncing back from a low point in the season, super compelling stuff
mugello '04: just love races that are kinda a mess! lots of twists and turns... bunch of riders fighting it out, the sete duel, the rain interruption, bunch of riders fighting it out but now on a way more slippery track... I don't know, there's just something charming about a race that has a bit of everything! of course it's also part of my beloved 2004 season, from which I could have easily included five different races (and if you're ever looking for a full season to watch, 2004 2006 and 2017 are the holy trinity - mix of title fight drama and banger races)
okay listen I'm gonna cheat here because I wrote out the word 'catalunya' and then had a crisis staring at this post. '07 I need to include because it's my favourite casey win and it's how he establishes himself as an all-round threat and is so important in the overall context of the valentino rivalry, but '09 is like... right up there with laguna as season lynchpin races and also somehow jorge has been left out from these picks... I love big momentum-switchers I love races that have so much meaning in the context of a rivalry AND season. I also love how they're connected! that valentino did the same move on casey (just not on the final lap) and had basically already rehearsed his coup de grâce two years in advance, before visualising it the week before the race... casey joking about it in the catalunya '09 presser, jorge knowing he kinda should have seen it coming, casey kinda ragging on jorge for not having seen it coming... idk!! I like this little legacy they built there together
for newbies
phillip island '23: you need to include something a little more current to give new fans a reason to watch now... phillip island races are reliably great - this one introduces you to two of the major protagonists of the current game in a way that kind tells you a lot about both of them, gives you a demonstration of one of the best types of races (the multi-rider dogfight), and it also is the most brute force way imaginable of explaining how tyres work in motogp. pedagogically pleasing! it's the kind of race new viewers will be able to enjoy in the moment, but have a lot of questions about afterwards - the sweet spot
assen '15: easily makes my top five rewatched races too, but I put it under the newbie header because again... tells you a lot! it's very likely this hypothetical newbie will have at least have SOME knowledge of who the two protagonists are and know they've fallen out, though I suppose it'd be funny to go in completely blind. obviously a great duel and a very nice introduction to the two big names plus their respective riding styles... what you really want is some late drama and a controversial finish that you can immediately have a hot take about
donington '05: we need a full wet race, not just mixed but wet wet... this one's got one hell of an attrition rate but also proper tussling between the different riders, rather than everyone just riding out on their own. it really gives you a feeling for how these kinds of races work... lot of riders wobbling around, saving near-falls, trying to get a sense of how much they can risk, riding behind each other to have somebody else test out their conditions... plus, the valentino performance kinda slaps
austria '17: got to be a marc/dovi duel in here, and this one has the clear edge not as much for the race itself but a) the novelty at the time, and b) the significance in the title fight. in dovi you've got somebody who is emerging as a threat and is providing a new flavour of challenge.... there's also that fun tension between how marc logically very much should just be happy to be there as a result of what a ducati circuit it is and he's simply supposed to be limiting the points damage... but he also really, really wants to win... actually either this or motegi 2017, almost want to change my pick. one of those two!!
brno '03: sneaking in an old race as a gateway drug, and I think this one is quite 'accessible' to the uninitiated. I considered other ones like phillip island '01 (valentino's first premier class matchpoint race, classic dogfight) or welkom '04 (first yamaha race and one of the duels) - but I think you don't need much context to get absorbed in this one. the race commentary already gives you the most important information... valentino's struggles that season, the criticisms he was facing from the italian press, how badly he wanted to win, the haircut, all of it... and then you get to see the post-race prisoner's celebrations, a flavour of the proper classic camp dramatics
slightly silly number of honourable mentions, each of which I was extremely tempted to include: motegi '10, jerez 2005, misano '19, laguna '11, jerez '10, assen '04, catalunya '04 '05 '16, mugello '05 '06, sachsenring '06, assen '04, phillip island '04, le mans 2005, qatar 2005, suzuka '01, thailand '19, austria '19, qatar '18, silverstone '19, sachsenring '10, qatar '15, mugello '16, sepang '10, assen '07 (and ones I did already kinda mention above: phillip island '15, assen '18, phillip island '01, welkom '04, motegi '17)
#race rec tag#almost died making this. if i made this tomorrow they'd be completely different races#motogp#//#brr brr#batsplat responds#is phillip island 2017 actually that good or do races get rewarded in my mind if I wake up early and they make it worth it#best lil sequences of races are '19 [austria silverstone misano] '04 [mugello catalunya assen] '17 [motegi phillip island sepang]#'04 [qatar sepang phillip island] and 2015... y'know#that's what it's all about... little runs of back to back fun races that are also narratively compelling

habs thoughts 💭
gathering my emotions while listening to the end-of-year media availabilities...
i will continuously update this post throughout the day
---
lane talking about wanting to be faster... boy 😭 do you even have any idea how CRAZY fast you already are
---
random, but. i can't even explain or make sense of how i hated on dvorak for most of his time here, and couldn't wait for him to leave. but now that his contract's over, the thought of him leaving makes me wanna cry?? like. tf is wrong with me
but despite him saying he didn't wanna get into contract details, he talks about the team in present tense and saying things like "future's bright", so... make of that what u will
also, i think this is the first interview of him i ever watch/listen to 💀 (fully at least)
---
why they had a 20-minute break with no interview and then suddenly everyone's talking at the same time 😐
that's something they gotta work on this offseason fr. they had technical problems ALLLL damn year, what is going on. oldest team in the league with the oldest equipment too? 😂 get it together
---
well you'll never hear me say this bc i LOVE the iihf worlds tournament with my whole heart, but hearing nick got invited... bro, pls say no. you play too much. you've done enough. GET SOME REST MY LOVE. IT'S OK. YOU DESERVE IT. PLS
"i don't know man, iron streak is what it is, i just wanna be available" the way he talkssssss he kills me 😭
---
yayyy, mikey's going to the worlds... full circle bc that is how i even learned about him in the first place... in 2017... and kinda fell in love w him 😁😁😁 before i did a full 360 (hated tf out of him for what he did and crossing him from my list of faves) (all for my team to fkn acquire him on a sunny day in july of 2022) 😁😁 gosh i love when things come around full circle 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
---
kaiden not going... it's the right decision, but it still makes me sad bc we were robbed of captain kaiden in the juniors bc of covid 😔 but its ok. one day he'll get to be captain canada again
---
it cannot be understated how much i enjoy carsy...... he speaks so well, he's always joyful, laughing with the reporters...... so kind and patient and full of life...... and then his play on the ice, so composed, so stabilizing, so necessary...... i love him 💓
---
"max lapierre said that to get the best version of xhekaj, you have to let him loose, do you agree with that?" u can tell arber did NOT wanna answer 💀 and honestly idk how much of his response comes from him and how much is from marty
---
sam saying the injury wasn't too bad and he would've even played in the second round 😣 makes me even sadder
first time in 8 years he doesn't travel with the team on an away trip 😭😭😭 we were finally blessed with a goalie who doesn't get injured often and now this had to happen... ffs
i love him 🥺 he's so sweet and seems so kind... so grateful to have him here
---
"did you reach your goals" "what do you guys think" why is slaf so sassy chill out boy
"maybe next season it would be nice if i start in october, not february" ...well at least you know
---
joel has lost his finnish accent 😟
it's funny how one question he answers completely and the other he'll say 2 words 😹
also, sweet that he said he wants to stay here... we'll see if he gets re-signed i guess
---
and with that, i guess that's all for now. i'll listen to marty's presser and the management's on monday; if i have more comments to leave i'll update this post again.
#commentary#this is obviously mostly for me just to process everything#and eventually i'll add a specific tag for playoff stuff so i can easily look back on all this

it’s me im the gay lemming fr fr
okay so the things to know are
1) I would kill and die for allisha gray who worked her butt off with Dallas then Atlanta, she was rookie of the year in 2017 but tbh I feel like she’s consistently overlooked esp compared to other members of her draft class and vs her best friend and former roommate a’ja. Lish wears goggles when she plays (nonprescription she just likes them) which has led to the iconic #GogglesUp when she does something cool
2) rhyne howard was number one draft pick for a REASON she is a baller with a great three point shot and impressive growth season to season
3) our home games are consistently hella fun that’s how I wound up supporting Atlanta, the vibe check my first season watching was immaculate
4) the documentary do it for the dream about how the W players mobilized for Black Lives Matter and wound up helping get Raphael warnock elected and new ownership? highly worth the watch
5) our former head coach Tanisha wright made baffling decisions with line ups and minutes that often seemed to be operating by some kinda sixth dimension logic known only to her so! should be an interesting year
6) other returning players are kinda up in the air but Jordin Canada has been in pressers w lish and rhyne and BG so feels safe to assume she’s back and she is fun and feisty and a great playmaker
thank you for coming to my ted talk do it for the dream

[ad_1] External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a joint presser with his Australian Counterpart Penny Wong, where the two leaders discussed various issues of global importance. EAM also spoke about the US Presidential Elections. Jaishankar said, “We have seen steady progress in our relationship with the US over the last 5 presidencies, including an earlier Trump presidency. So, when we look at the American election, we are very confident that whatever the verdict, our relationship with the US will only grow”. The US presidential Elections will see the Democrats, led by VP Kamala Harris, and the Republicans, led by former US President Donald Trump, go head to head as the voting begins from November 5 onwards. Harris was nominated as the Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden quit the presidential race amid mounting concerns over his age. This was particularly after his poor show in the debate with Donald Trump in June. She is the first female, first black, and first Asian American vice president. If elected president, the 59-year-old Harris would become the first woman in history to become the US President. The vice president is only the second woman ever nominated for the presidency by a major political party. Commenting upon President Donald Trump and the QUAD grouping, Jaishankar told the media, “In terms of QUAD, it was revived under the Trump presidency in 2017. It was then moved from the level of a permanent secretary to a minister during the Trump presidency. It’s interesting, in the midst of COVID, when physical meetings had stopped, one of the rare physical meetings of Foreign Ministers was actually of the QUAD in Tokyo in 2020. So I think that should tell us something”. Under the leadership of former US President Donald Trump, significant reforms were seen in the US, which included renegotiating trade agreements with various countries, reforming the US Tax code, and improving veterans’ access to healthcare, amongst other decisions. Trump is running for a second term at the White House with JD Vance as his VP Nominee. Trump’s presidency had seen a boost to the QUAD grouping, which Jaishankar highlighted in his remarks today in Australia. [ad_2] Source link

2017 season is crazy bc sete was literally right there in the paddock at every gp and suddenly for the first time in literal years vale had to publicly acknowledge his existence and their shared history.
like he talks about sete in qatar (“ I met sete on a plane two or three times, we make travel together”), argentina (“I did the skydiving one time, maybe 15 years ago with gibernau”), jerez and austria presscons? vale quite literally never mentioned sete as much as he had thru out 2017 season at any point post like 2006…..
#soooo much potential there. insaneee#and if we remember how vale had his last ever win in 2017 (at assen) and how he led the championship for the last time ever in 2017 too#plus the other things that happened in 2017……#the narratives…..#maybe there’s more but these are the pressers I know of atm#at some point I will obviously watch 2017 season properly but that’s a long way off I fear#sg15#vr46#motogp

also I’ve seen some (well a lot) photos of dani & sete together and like were/are they friends? obviously I know about the honda connection + them both being spanish but not much more then that. kinda hilarious that dani was/is friendly with both of them……
time to bring back the world's funniest photo

this is a genuine work of art. quite possibly one of the greatest photos of all time. I'm in love
yeah dani hired sete in 2017!! that's what gives us that great moment where valentino forgets about jerez 2005 with sete in the room - like that's why sete is even attending pressers in the first place. this is what sete had to say about it start of 2017:
honestly this is one of my fave sete interviews, I've had it in my drafts for a while to discuss but I might as well throw it in here. so yeah, him and dani have known each other since dani was a kid!! which will have been partly due to the honda link - they were also both gresini riders in 2004-05, if in different classes

plus they had the spanish link, back when that was like. something a little more noteworthy. they've regularly trained together for years!! dani had already asked sete to be his coach for two years!! they have a "great relationship"!!
but yeah obviously we do have to address the valentino of it all. "in recent years [dani's] dropped a little, as a result of bad luck. when you try many times and don't succeed, your enthusiasm and motivation are less" uh huh...? like, say, when someone puts a curse on you and however much you try and try and try again, you can no longer win another race? it would be horrible if that curse gave you all manner of ill fortune, yeah? that sure would sap your enthusiasm and motivation, wouldn't it?
note too that the phrasing for what sete's attempting to give back to dani echoes what he says valentino still has: enthusiasm and motivation. the joy and the will. sete believes nobody should attempt to become the 'anti-marquez' - the very phrase implies a single chosen challenger to finally take down the sport's current king. focusing too much on that person can only come to your own detriment. you'll eventually become your own main rival... eventually, you'll defeat yourself, and your enemy won't even have to raise a hand. dani/sete parallels isn't the sort of thing you'd necessarily arrive at yourself, so it's always kind of the involved parties to do your work for you. what valentino and marc never lost was their 'inner spark' - and the two of them can cause the kind of misfortune for others that gradually eats away at their 'enthusiasm and motivation'. if you've been marked out to defeat one of them... well, beware
and. of course. "we've always had a great relationship, given that we've shared so many great moments together" buddy WHAT are you talking about. ALWAYS??? sete has a funny habit of acting as if he's like, worked very hard to repress everything that happened to him between 2003 and 2005 as some kind of weird ass curse-induced trauma response. but it's actually the "I've never done any interviews in which I've talked badly about valentino" that's the most revealing - which is a) kinda debatable, but at the same time b) ... well, yeah, sete has been awfully restrained in what he's said post-2005! which has always been super annoying to me, as someone on a fact-finding mission about that era, but it's also... it makes perfect sense, doesn't it? of course, sete was still committed to managing the image of that rivalry. so determined to be respectful that he's avoided giving his side of the story. and sure, you can take him at his word that he's let bygones be bygones, that he really only remembers the positives of that time, but... it's complete and utter bullshit! he's finally started talking about THIS decade (transcribed for the sete post):
if there's one good thing that came from him going on that bloody three hour australian podcast, it's in him opening up about how obviously extremely not Over It he is:
if you think that valentino has had a lasting negative impact on the sport, that he made it more dangerous, that this is something that can directly be traced back to what he did to YOU... then why are you NOT 'talking badly' about valentino? why didn't you complain about the overtake at the time, publicly rather than feeling frustrated with race direction in private? but that's sete all over, isn't it... casey, for all his sins, has not exactly been quiet about valentino post-retirement - and while I'm also not going to ascribe any especially altruistic motives to that, while he does also obviously sell a very particular version of their story, you at least don't get this kind of blatant disparity between his stated principles and his public output. it's like when commentators were talking during assen 2004 about that magazine cartoon, the one with the gag that valentino just had to put a mirror on the back of his bike to defeat sete. (which is obviously very mean-spirited, yeah, and there's plenty to critique in how sete was portrayed as this vain foppish pretty boy.) sete has always, always cared too much about appearances and it was always going to be what killed him in that rivalry. he truly is the perfect foil: valentino manipulates image to his own ends, while sete is a slave to it. and that's how we've somehow ended in this situation where both parties have been perfectly willing to let the facts of that rivalry dissipate into obscurity over time. valentino erases sete from the narrative of his career as an act of punishment, whereas sete lets himself be erased because he does not wish to be associated with something so very ugly. and thus the story sinks over time towards oblivion
anyway. sorry. uh, back to dani. reportedly that was quite a close partnership he had going with sete:
a rich kid with a fancy bike collection to the last. here's a joan instagram post about said training:

and here's another interview sete gave about dani - unsurprisingly he's once again very complimentary:

"we have noticed that the machine is developing in a certain direction" uh huh? something about riding for honda, who you believe are geared only towards making one of your rivals succeed? must be tough, eh
probably a complete coincidence, but as it happens 2017 was the closest dani and valentino ever really got to a public spat - over valentino's sturdy defending in aragon. "if he's not happy, he has to race alone" indeed. obviously, dani did not end up winning a title - though 2017 is still the closest he'd gotten since 2013. he was very much in that title fight, pretty much until the wet race at misano, even if as the fifth of five contenders... so 13 of 18 rounds in, not bad. (incidentally, that's also the race that ended valentino's title aspirations by dint of missing it entirely.) and when dani was pushed out of honda and decided to call it a day in 2018, here's what sete had to say:

more recently, dani's spoken about the advice sete gave him late in his career:
"in my last years" does make it sound like he's being put down, eh. so yeah, a rider coach, but probably more importantly a friend. wonder if they're still close
#i fully buy that sete is so weird he couldn't even properly shit talk valentino. and dani's not the type to go hunting for the gossip#if you're in that sport long enough chances are you will eventually get close to someone who hates valentino#but dani did also have like. two decades' worth of positive interpersonal interactions to draw on in that regard#jorge said it!! valentino's well liked for a reason!! lord knows SETE liked that kid enough to go partying with him on ibiza#when they ran into each other in 2000 pre-season (their first canonical interaction) sete was 27 and vale was ~21#and sete decided that cocky little shit who completely ignored his very sensible riding advice was worth befriending. sweet really#//#brr brr#batsplat responds#sete is literally the PERFECT valentino foil and it's so fitting he's the one nobody pays attention to#the legend valentino immortalised within the sport and the rival who revealed the most of him who has been forgotten#it's fun and neat when things work out like that!! like valentino being the perfect casey foil#marc still needs a better foil but i'll revisit that one after 2026#//curst

Looking for Ways To Support Earth Month? Try Fashion!
Join Aveda at their Catwalk for Water

If you have spent the last few years banging your head against the wall trying to think up ways to support our dying planet, try making your own clothes. Local beauty school Aveda Institute of Las Vegas, longtime supporters of clean beauty, are hosting their annual Catwalk For Water at Tivoli Village on April 28th. This long running event has been held at several of their locations since at least 2017, and all the proceeds go towards their partnerships with charities supporting clean water access for all.
Aveda was started in 1978 by Horst Rechelbacher with a vision for a green and organic line of beauty products. Initially inspired by his mothers traditional tonics and Indian medicinal practices, they now are known for their floral, organic and environmentally friendly products. Environmentalists from the start, they have since championed several charities and supported several Earth related movements.
As of 2021, every one of their products is vegan. Just one of many beauty companies that have made even a partial shift to organic and vegan products including KVD Beauty, Milk Makeup, Lime Crime, e.l.f. Cosmetics, and PHB Ethical Beauty.

They use these products and these values in a handful of beauty schools across the country. This commitment to green practices is at the core of their Catwalk for Water event. Students come together in teams to create a fully thrifted outfit in the hopes of winning a full scholarship. A truly valuable prize for anyone hoping to chase
The event is deeply personal, so to get a true grasp I spoke to Natalie Presser, a cosmetology instructor at the school.
Our local chapter has been holding the event since 2009, alongside its sister schools across the nation. All of them come together in the name of our dear planet, and gather funds for Aveda's partner ‘Charity: Water’. Learn more about them here https://www.charitywater.org/
Presser says this year is better and flashier than ever.
This time around the theme is “Raindrops on Roses”. One in a history of environment based themes, it is meant to evoke imagery of fresh flowers with dewdrops after a morning shower. Contestants are encouraged to use their thrifted materials, indulge in their creativity, originality and unified work to learn about the process of upcycling and fashion.
Presser says the event is greatly enjoyed by all students, and looked forward to every year. Getting to see and speak to some students myself, the excitement is evident. The sneak peaks I got to see tell me flowers will play a heavy role, so if you love them, or have any interest in learning about fashion this Earth month, join them on the 28th.

I – L'HISTOIRE DU DUB
Quoi ? t’as peur ?

There are so many negative articles about Taylor recently and it made me think how the fuck does she personally deals with millions of people policing every single move she does and don’t do. I honestly would lose my damn mind
I mean she could just do what she did 2017-2023 and not be at every celeb hotspot ever and not be commenting on her relationship every week and not be sending CNN pressers about herself and certainly not read any of what is written and wait for a summary from her team for anything important. The tallest trees get the most wind. If she’s gonna be doing ALL THIS then she’s also gonna face more backlash and she’s not a total idiot so she’d know that. Obviously at this juncture her need for praise (which is overwhelmingly more than the negative stuff) outweighs how much she doesn’t want haters (who increase whenever someone is more out there and in your face like that’s just how it works).

@fortheloveofaussiegrit 's deep dive into Mark and his love of twinks...
Sebastian Vettel
Where does one even start when trying to explain this... that's his twink of the past, present, and future— his forever. [first: debatable but the beginning of martian at the Fuji GP 2007 when Seb crashed into the back of Mark ruining both of their races, they were running 2nd and third. second: the day i lost my sanity, Abu Dhabi 2022]
Oscar Piastri

His twink of the present [i don't think i need to say anything... but photos above are from Mark's website from his blog post about Oscar winning the F2 championship and how Mark stayed in Abu Dhabi with Oscar after the GP for the young driver f1 test...]
Mitch Evans

Without Mitch we wouldn’t have got Oscar/Mark... (this is what oscarmark could’ve been but not sure i would’ve been able to handle oscar posting mark the way mitch did) Started in 2010, Mark then went on to manage him and Mitch even moved into Mark’s home in England, down the drive but point still stands [first: Mark Webber takes protege on birthday tour, 2010 (speedcafe.com) second: Mark embracing Mitch after he took maiden victory in Formula E, 2019 (📷Sam Bloxham) bottom two: from Mitch’s IG circa 2014]
Daniel Ricciardo

i like that belt buckle mate [first/second: F1 Paddock 2013 (📷skysports.com) third: Mark & Daniel’s BBQ on the beach ahead of the Aus GP 2011 (📷flickr) fourth/fifth: Dutch GP 2022.]
Fernando Alonso
again do i need to say anything? i think this sums it up (thank you to @seafoampearlygirl for the screen shot and your help too, much appreciated!!

and this... [Jenson Button, Giancarlo Fisichella, Fernando Alonso & Mark Webber for Benetton Renault 2001 F1 launch]
Lewis Hamilton
If there's one thing about Mark that you need to know its his love of twinks with world championships... @mwebber has a post here on these two! Mark always loves talking about Lewis and the way they look at each other.. [first: Mark and Lewis during the post-qualy presser at the Spanish GP, 2010 (📷Sutton Images) second: during the pre-race presser at the Aus GP, 2013 (📷Hoch Zwei) third: Abu Dhabi GP, 2017 (📷James Moy)]
Nico Rosberg

from teammates at Williams to Mark snapping pics of the back of Nico in 2023… [first: Mark talking to test driver Nico Rosberg during the German GP, 2005 (📷Pakusch) second: Monaco ePrix 2023]
Max Verstappen

like i said... twinks with championships [first: ‘bumped into these two over easter and managed a few k on the trails’ Apr, 2018 (Mark’s FB) second: Hangar-7, 2019]
Felipe Massa

yeah... [first: Brazil 2012, i think (📷sky-sports.com) second: Brazil 2013 (📷xpb images)]
Brendon Hartley

he’s already featured a few times, but from rbr junior driver to teammate... yeah.. is there a pattern? [first: Spanish GP 2009 (📷DPPI Images) second: Brendon, Mark & Timo after winning the 6 hours of Bahrain and the WEC Drivers Championship 2015 (📷fiawec.com)]
Jenson Button

and finally we get to Jenson Button, who, yes, is younger than Mark so makes it onto the list... the ultimate twink on twink... you cannot tell me this wasnt a couples holidays covered up as ‘training’. you cannot tell me they were not fumbling around in their bedsheets at night. you cannot tell me— [redacted redacted redacted] — [pre-season training session in Lanzarote, Spain. 4 Jan 2001 📷Mark Thompson]
