The painting in Grian's new episode... the obsession with the mending book, to the point that he stopped fishing long enough to just build a shrine (and he had said he didn't want to accidentally fish up a mending book or it'll all be for naught)
He sure is attempting to manifest the mending book, but he may not had realize if there's something else he's manifesting instead
Ok so my first response to this was “read Shadow Over Innsmouth” but then I remembered 1) fuck HP Lovecraft and 2) Dredge, which inspired this au, is inspired by Shadow Over Innsmouth and other Lovecraftian Mythos. So whoops.
Anyways. I’m thinking about the Snail. Something about the snail tearing something down that was distinctly human made. Something about the snail destroying something that was made to please the ocean. Something about entities not liking every gift they are given. Something about the price of a mending book.

On this day, 20 years ago, the RJ episodes, “House Party” and “School Newspaper”, premiered at 11:00pm on the 5th night of the new “Fridays”
Fun Facts:
The newspaper in the title for “School Newspaper” has a headline of a robot invading a school, and said robot is RJ. This is a reference to how creator, Greg Miller, jokingly said that the show would end with RJ taking over “Terminator” style
In the scene in “School Newspaper” where Principal Madman is in the teachers lounge, Mr. Mitchell (Sickness) and Mrs. Kavendash (Scantron Love), make non-speaking cameos
When RJ breaks into the school at night in “School Newspaper”, he references “Dick Tracy”, a detective character from old 1930s comics. He even dawns a stereotypical detective get-up.
In “House Party”, RJ reveals his middle, and full, name. His middle being “Electro”, and his full name being “Robot Electro Jones”

Midnight Bacchanal- An Astarion-inspired Perfume Blend
this is a recipe for an essential oil blend which can be used for aromatherapy in an oil warmer (if you're rich I guess ;) or as a perfume. The recipe is a RATIO, which means that it can be easily doubled or tripled depending on what you’re using it for.
...
Inspired by the current subject of my obsession, Astarion from Larian's soon-to-be released game Baldur's Gate 3, this is a luscious, intoxicating, fussy blend of rich incense and dark earth, overgrown jasmine and wilting roses, evoking decaying nobility and luxury.
Can be used in lotions, cologne bases or with a carrier oil, but would not recommend for use in cosmetics that are applied to the face or mouth. As I have allergies stemming from many synthetic scents, I only use essential oils. None of these are photoreactive, but as with all essential oils, pls patch test your skin with each if you've never used them before.
Astarion Essential Oil Blend Recipe
3 drops Vetiver essential oil (vetiveria zizanioides)
4 drops Myrrh essential oil (commiphora myrrha)
3 drops Frankincense essential oil (boswellia serrata)
2 drops Patchouli essential oil (pogostemon cablin)
1 drop Vanilla botanical extract (vanilla planifolia)
2 drops Damask Rose absolute (rosa damascena)
3 drops Jasmine absolute (jasminum grandiflorium)
Notes:
Wet: a burst of intoxicating florals with resinous and woody notes. seriously made me a little dizzy in a good way.
Dry: all of the complex earthy scents come through, softening the florals and their sweetness, and bringing notes of incense and dirt (but also in a good way)
these notes are from ME, and do not mean you will experience the perfume in the same way!
Warnings&Comments:
Please be aware if you’ve never used essential oils- they should be diluted with a carrier oil before being applied to skin. Good quality grapeseed oil isn’t a bad choice, and it’s cheap! I use sweet almond usually.
Not a food safe blend.
Rose absolute (and all oils to a greater and lesser degree) can smell completely different on your skin from person to person. So if it smells overwhelmingly of rose to you, you might need to lower the concentration.
Store your finished product in a container that is tinted, as exposure to sunlight will make the scent fade faster.
I use Vanilla botanical extract, but vanilla oleoresin is also fine, though it will tint your finished perfume brownish. Otherwise this should come out as a nice amber color.
My jasmine (jasminum grandiflorium) is from India, not Egypt, but Egyptian would be fine as well, mine just smelled a bit soapy and using two florals like I did, I was afraid the soapiness would make it smell like a candle. Yes, it’s super expensive, but you can buy sample vials from some reputable essential oil distributors, and it should be plenty. You can also sub with synthetic if you like. I just can’t ;P
If this is too much flower for you, reduce rose and jasmine oils each by 1 drop

Hi!
I was curious if you were ever gonna write a Halloween Dante x reader, Vergil x reader
I loved the haunted house/theme park one you wrote last year, and was kinda wondering if you’ll write something again?
If not it’s okay :D
Still love the stories ❤️
HELLO AND WELCOME TO SPOOKY SEASON AND FIRST DAY OF HALLOWEEN, MY LITTLE BAT, YOU ARE WONDERFUL THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Hahahaha you can see I'm really excited October is upon us and I can't WAIT for all the Halloween shenanigans (even if in my country it isn't really much of a thing, I'm still trying to find some people to go with me to the local underground goth club on Halloween and have a creepy time <3)!
But really, I'm sooo happy you enjoyed the Halloween specials and wanted to see something new this year! I was considering if I was going to write or not, but your message hit me like a confirmation of the Universe hahahaha
Jokes aside, I need to find the theme for this year's Halloween specials. Can't seem to find anything that really sparks joy within me and inspires me to write - the ideas are out there, I just need to let them find me.
I'll probably start watching some Halloween season movies. Last year, I watched Hellraiser and Hell Fest and BOOM inspiration hit for that crazy little thing hahahaha who knows what this year's gonna hold?
Need to rewatch The Crow, by the way, it's that time of the year.
I intend on writing something, yes! I just need to get into the Halloween mood and scribble some ideas here and there, finding whatever themes seem to be fun/interesting to develop the DMC crew Halloween shenanigans.
Thanks a lot for the message, though, it gave me a lot more motivation to write and now I really want to create something for you guys!
(real footage of me sitting on my pc and getting ready to write, no little children harmed in the process)
