dont get me wrong cuz I DO appreciate Larian continuing to work on the game and trying to fix issues etc but like. mr Larian PLEASE stop responding to fan feedback. people are right to complain abt the amount of wyllstarion fics that are "wyll is astarion's therapist/knight/savior" but i'm gonna be real. those fic exist for literally every x astarion pairing. you put any other character in the proximity of that vampire twink and years of trauma-informed sex education is beamed into their brain

there was smth immensely satisfying about planning out and making a character i conceptualized as nonmonogamous from the beginning and then being able to actually have that conversation with their romance partner in game

im kinda suprised ive never seen anybody ship halsin and jaheira. may not be the most interesting couple ever bc theyd be so normal compared to other companions but i like it, its cute. i also just want to see jaheira happy. and also i found her house in baldurs gate and was just thinking about how if halsin was here witnessing how much orphans shes taken in but been a deadbeat mom about he’d have an ‘i can fix her’ moment. he WAS ranting to my durge about how people are so uncaring in the city. maybe adopting half the orphans in baldurs gate and sparking a Thing with jaheira is his purpose post campaign

it's hilarious to me how much faster it is to cast speak with dead on art compared to having to go all the way to reithwin and kill malus or cheese your way into pickpocketing his lute. like you can just kill him and be done with the whole end the shadow curse questline in 10 minutes. you'll even get a free and easy teleport to reithwin in the process

as u know doing my all girl romance playthru and its also my first playthru where i havent had astarion on my team pretty much the entire time and its uhhhh so crazy do you know you get different dialogue if you have different characters on your team??? wack

i love rping as ocs in games.. so fun putting them in situations which in turn helps flesh them out.. we've learned that gin (my catboy tav) loves kids and despite his anxiety Will stand up for them & their safety..

ok I love your playstyle of bg3?? Like please give me some examples since you've play it (3 times I guess?) and it always seems so different. I don't know maybe it's me and my choices but it's only a minimal difference between all my playthroughs yet. You inspire me to try and explore different playstyles of the game :) i hope this is understandable and doesn't sound weird ;-;

ahhh thank you <3 i know its been weeks since i first saw this so you probs already been playing 🙈 lifes been busy n i wish i answered you earlier but the trick for me was to just go with what feels right in the moment instead of trying to do everything, for me its either the underdark or mountain pass doing both just feels like too much, i dont pick up all the companions so there's always something i missed im not much of a campaign planner too hell i dont even know what the personality of my tav will be until im well into act 2 so i always end up w different endings

OK. hesitantly i will share this since its nothing too extreme. doodles of one of my baldurs gate 3 dark urge characters 🙌 i named him morbius he was supposed to get with astarion (haha vampire) but for some reason whenever i TRY to go for him i just veer off for someone else. this specific instance it was gale because of his little magic trick.

this guy's a bard and while he resisted bhaal he still gets a lot of joy from killing. so he continues adventuring while gale goes back to waterdeep etc etc

hes trans because i think its funny for scleritas fel to do his top surgery. bro can say "my butler did my top surgery" and be 100% fr no deception check he'd succeed anyhow (bard) no nothing

i just saw this post & i went digging & it turns out every romantic partner has dialogue abt the encouter w/ haarlep. i assume if astarion's has been put in, everyone else has as well

i think it's interesting how the responses range from worried & upset to wary to outright dismissive.

but also halsin??? that is such a weird fucking thing to say???

also i've always been curious abt this, and origin astarion is the only character with unique responses to haarlep

karlach has one unique line of narration if she hasn't gotten her second upgrade

I do feel a bit bad for not liking Halsin as much as everyone else seems to tbh. Like he's not horrible, I don't hate him like I hate other fictional characters, but through a combination of minor personal squicks and preferences and just him being written like that, I just go "huh. Ok" whenever I see a post abt him or even most fanart. Particularly horny fanart. Like nice. Good for you. This does not do anything for me at all. And that's fine! But I feel like I'm missing out and not seeing the hype. Left outside alone. Tigger walking away in the snow etc.
