HIII!!! i got an idea from a scenario that happened to a Hockey Armin bot from j.ai (i'm not a very mentally sane person.) and I'd like to request it!!:
well, so armin!afab reader had just started dating when after a game, eren and jean "were driving them home”, which ended up on eren and jean putting aphrodisiacs in reader's and armin's drink, and they ended up fucking on the backseat of the car, while the boys recorded it..
note: omggg~ this one's long but i wanted to try something different! i hope you enjoy this nonnie ♡ please let me know what you think of this one!
cw: hockey player!armin x fem!reader, drinking alcohol, voyeurism, filming, masturbation (fem), unprotected piv sex, pet names used: beautiful, pretty girl, angel, reader is referred to as girlfriend

a loud buzzer sounds off in the chilly arena, signaling the last break of the game. there's 15 minutes left to catch breaths, tend to any minor injuries, and work on plays. you rush to the bottom of the stands to catch your boyfriend in time for a quick pep talk. you scan each jersey for his number until your eyes fall on it, lucky number 13 in black and white.
"hey! you guys are doing great!" you say with a smile. armin turns around and looks at you, taking his mouth guard out. "we're down one point which could cost us the game if we're not careful," he smiles back at you. "but thank you. it means a lot that you came tonight." the 5'6 blondie hugs you tight. you return the hug and gently grab his face, looking him in the eyes. "i know you've got this."
you leave him with a kiss on the cheek and return to your seat so he can spend the break with his team, planning their win. eren jaeger, the center of the team, and left defenseman jean kirstein, approach armin. "we're gonna go get drinks later regardless of the outcome of this game, care to join?" eren asks, swinging his arm around armin. "i would but my girl's here, i don't wanna blow her off." jean nudges armin. "c'mon man! bring her with. i'm sure she won't mind a little detour." armin scans the stands for her, his lips curving into a small smile when he finds her. the buzzer sounds again, signaling the start of the third and final play. "i'll talk to her after the game." he puts his mouth guard in and returns to the ice.
eren stands in the center of the ice, facing off the opposing team. the referee drops the puck between the players. eren quickly gains possession of it, pulling it backwards towards jean. he takes the puck into the head of the stick and swings, sinking into the opposing team's net. cheers and claps erupt from supporting fans at jean's lucky shot. the teams are tied now, but there's still time left to secure victory.
the final faceoff begins with eren, once again, gaining possession of the puck. this time, the team decides to ride the clock and pass the puck around to each other, sending the puck into the offensive net just before time runs out. final score, 4-3 for jaeger's team.
you cheer for your boyfriend's team's success and wait for the crowd of people to leave. after the stands clear, you find armin talking with eren and jean. you decide to just let them chat, taking pictures of the scoreboard while you wait. eren catches a glimpse of you from his peripherals. "you here for a picture, sweetheart?" he coos. armin turns and sees you, offering an apologetic smile. "eren! ...that's my girlfriend." armin groans.
"ah– sorry about that." eren sighs, feeling embarrassed at his dismissal of you. "i'm eren and this is jean." he slaps jean's chest playfully. you offer a small wave and smile. "i'm y/n, nice to meet you both." eren looks you up and down. "i don't think armin's mentioned it but we're planning on getting some drinks, you're welcome to join us. we won't go too crazy, promise." he smirks. "sure! you guys deserve it, after all!" you say happily. "i'm gonna run to the restroom before we leave." you kiss his cheek and make your exit.
eren nudges armin again. "so that's your girl, huh? she's cute, man." armin sighs. "eren–" "don't worry dude, i'm not trying to meddle. she suits you." he smiles at armin, patting him on the shoulder reassuringly.
you meet up with the group of boys, who are now showered and dressed in casual clothes. "i know the perfect place. armin, i'll send you the address. meet us there." eren prompty sends armin the address to a bar a few minutes across town. armin nods. "alright. see ya there." eren pats his shoulder before walking away with jean. armin turns to you, seeming a little nervous. "are you sure you want us to join them? i could just tell them i'm tired." he offers. "no! it's totally fine. i'm kind of excited that eren invited me. i would've been fine with you going without me, but it was really nice of him to extend the invitation." you reassure him. he grabs your hand and smiles. "alright then, off we go."
a few minutes later, your uber arrives to the bar eren suggested. you and armin step out and into the bar. eren and jean wave you and armin down. "hey lovebirds! we already ordered drinks for ya." jean nods his head at the drinks on the table. "oh, thanks!" you smile. you take a sip of the cocktail. armin does the same. eren and jean share a glance at each other that you and armin don't notice. "so, y/n... how long have you been seeing armin?" eren asks slyly. "oh, uh, officially? about a month or so." you reply. he nods at your admission. you take another sip of the cocktail and eren grins.
20 minutes passes. the four of you make casual conversation about different things, talking as if you've known each other for years. armin wraps his arm around your waist and whispers in your ear. "you look beautiful. thank you again for coming to the game." you smile and kiss his cheek. "wouldn't miss it, handsome." you reply softly.
45 minutes, now. armin pulled you into his lap tweny minutes ago and has spent the past 5 running his hands over your body. your thighs, your hips, the bottom of your stomach. he even brushes his fingers across the hem of your skirt. you can feel his dick pressing against your ass. he nuzzles his face into your neck, kissing and circling it with his tongue. "you're coming home with me tonight, right?" he asks quietly. you nod in response. "don't know if i can wait til we get home." he whispers, sliding his hand between your thighs.
an hour has passed. "it's getting late, friends. i say we pack it up here and get home. how about you two ride with us? i'll drop you off at armin's place." eren offers. "you've done enough for us for the night. we appreciate it." armin says. "come on bro, it'll be fun." jean encourages. "when's the last time we just went ridin' around?" armin chuckles. "it has been a while, but–" "we'd be happy to." you interject, nudging your boyfriend's arm playfully.
eren hops into the driver's seat, jean in the passenger. you and armin sit in the back of the dark car. armin whispers in your ear. "my pretty girl... gonna let me play with your pussy in my friend's car?" you shiver. "armin! they'll see... or hear." you whisper. he drapes his jacket over your lap. "don't worry about it, it's too dark. they can't see anything." he replies, sliding his hand down your skirt. his slender finger traces your slit before sliding inside, collecting your juices. "stay quiet for me, angel. don't wanna get caught." you nod and sharply inhale as he begins to trace circles around your clit. you squirm around in the seat trying to contain yourself.
"you alright back there?" eren adjusts the rear view mirror, glancing at you and armin. "we're good, thanks." armin replies, still circling your bud. your heart is pounding hard against your chest knowing you could be caught. the adrenaline sends you close to your orgasm quickly. "armin-" you whisper, "i'm-" he hushes you and nods. "i know. we're taking a backroad, get in my lap." "hm?? your lap?" you question. he nods. you slide the coat to him as he unbuttons his jeans, freeing his cock.
you get into his lap and slide his length into your soaked cunt slowly. his hands on your hips guide you up and down his cock. it's unspoken, but you both know you need to be as nonchalant as possible. the car is big enough for a good amount of space between you two and them. eren and jean aren't stupid, though. they've been watching this whole time, recording. jean adjusts eren's phone, making sure he's getting a good view.
"dude, this feels fucked up." jean admits. "what's more fucked up, jean? them fucking in my car or us recording it?" eren scoffs. this makes jean ponder. "touché." he grumbles. "besides, i won't let anything happen to this vide or let anyone know this even happened. it's for my enjoyment." eren adds, his eyes still on the road. "don't act like your dick doesn't want to jump out of your pants either, kirstein." jean rolls his eyes.
you continue riding armin's cock, but not for long before the knot in your stomach comes undone. your legs stiffen as you quickly reach your orgasm, tightening your walls around him. this sends armin over the edge too, you feel his cock twitch as he fills your pussy with his cum. you shift back into the seat next to him as he adjusts himself back into his pants.
"look's like we're here, friends. thanks for a fun evening." eren says snidely and winks, as he approaches armin's apartment complex. "thanks for the ride, eren." armin says as he opens the door and nods. "here, take this." you offer him a $20 bill. he shakes his head. "nah. 'preciate it though, sweetheart. i got all the payment i need." you smile awkwardly and nod.
you both send eren and jean off with a wave, watching him drive away. then, armin grabs your waist and kisses your forehead. "round two?" he asks hopefully, smiling down at you. you flash him a smile and follow him upstairs.

UPON FURTHER RESEARCH i may have found the unluckiest girl in the world, Canadiens edition. this is old news to a lot of people but its news to ME!!!!! David Reinbacher uou have been throuhg the trenches hello take my fin GET BEHIND ME
drafted in Bedards draft year but also the next 3 guys are Carlsson-Fantilli-Smith . and everyone and their mother was wondering who was gonna get Michkov. what an act to follow RIP
CAREY PRICE BLUE SCREENED WHILE CALLING OUT HIS NAME. CAN'T MAKE THIS UP!! "Bonsoir, Les Canadiens de Montreal are proud to select, David….........." HELPPPPPP???
to make things worse people sent him thousands of awful messages. AS THOUGH IT WAS HIS FAULT HE GOT DRAFTED INSTEAD OF THE OTHER KID. the messages included death threats and comparisons to hitler (he is austrian. and me. well. I am lighting them all on fire ! <3 )
so the Habs send him back to the NL to let him develop without the pressure of this accursed fucking market right. that should be fine. right.
BOOM !INJURY!!! TWO INJURIES!! im wailing... sobbing... when will it end
His team, Kloten, acquired a new GM the year before. whats the worst that could happen?
THREE DIFFERENT COACHES! AT ONE POINT THE GM IS COACHING??
Kloten were sort of average the year before but this year its flop city. 17-29-6 ahaha <3
god . their system is. not good. per this article -> "Gerry Fleming, named this summer and who was coaching at the opening of the season, is responsible for turning a fairly interesting 22-23 team into a very bad one, including making them defend man on man all over the defensive zone."
and reinbacher saw the most use of all the defensemen in rotation for yet another season. helo .
most difficult match ups. second worst team in the league. so of course he sees a regression in production from his draft year, and during what was supposed to be a season for development this is.Not Good!!!
gonna just. leave some of thee most devastating/endearing quotes from this article below:
Tumblr media
like even the nicest fans are sort of holding their noses about him at the time. like oh. him? not an exciting pick at all, according to many. not what the Habs need, in a draft year stacked with offensive talent. not flashy. unsexy, well-rounded hockey. consensus best defenseman on draft day but that's still not good enough !!
weight of the world type beat…gotta prove you're worth that high draft pick. gotta show them they shouldn't have sent you back. they saw there was a mote of excellence in you once and surely if you try to do everything on your own they'll see it again right? <3 ahahahaha.... !
Tumblr media
and finally their season ends and the habs reassign him to the AHL. christ alive!!!!!!
he makes his AHL debut with the Laval Rocket and does pretty well!! scores his first goal !!
here's something that made me scream. what are u doing to him, montreal...................
Tumblr media
Anyway. the boys in Laval call him Rhino (alt spelling: Reino?) and thats ADORABLE and hes going right beside all the other dmen in my heart .tucking him in carefully!!!!
whatever the hell is goin on with him and Lane Hutson.... i love when two players are bonded cats at the shelter. cosmically fated to be each other's d-pair? hello <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
what if we were prospects and everyone thought we fit together perfectly. what then.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
feeling very hinged and regular. hello. unluckiest girl in the world David Reinbacher . <3

Double Overtime -- extended author's notes
as with the last long fic I wrote, I have some extended author's notes on the fic haha. posting them to Tumblr was fun the last time, so without further ado:
Hockey Details
I went into this set up being like ‘i know a reverse sweep isn’t likely but it IS dramatic so i’ll do it’ and then i watched in awe/horror as the Panther’s 3-0 lead shrunk down to 3-3 and the oilers were set to pull of a reverse sweep (and spoil the end of my fanfic.). The oilers ALMOST did it but whiffed it at the end. Still, wild timing for me. We’re living in one of Connor McDavid’s failed timeloops.
I have a like, novice level understanding of hockey but a huge amount of enthusiasm. A time loop was the best plot to get around that– i only have to focus on one hockey match rather than the logistics of an entire season or more. There’s still a lot more i could do if i understood the game more, but hey, i was here for the fights and i provided for myself.
The Baratie Steelheads and the Syrup Village Sockeyes aren’t the most fitting names for the both (types of salmon), but they are names that were on the Seattle Kraken’s original team name shortlist, so it was an easter egg for myself.
Sanji’s entire contract thing is definitely over the top plot contrivance, but there’s a certain amount of over the top required when adapting his backstory. The Steelheads leaving Baratie is inspired by the poor Arizona Coyotes being relocated. RIP to the Coyotes, coolest jerseys in the league squandered by poor management
Most the fights were actually based on hockey clips from twitter lol. thanks for the insp hockey
Character Details
I didn’t include all the character details for the strawhats, primarily because it’s Sanji’s POV and he’s mostly focused on zoro. But, for the list, with more details about characters with less screentime lol:
Luffy: Captain, Center. I think he’s pretty versatile and also sometimes plays LW/RW, but he’s primarily the Strawhats center and captain, with a huge near-elastic reach
Zoro: Defenseman, though a particularly offensive d-man and an enforcer. Roughly, this is basically an unofficial role for the guy who starts fights with people who make dirty plays.
Nami: Technically the social media manager of the team, acts more like the team’s overall manager. Team manager kind of seems like a lazy spot to put her in, but i like to think she’s a travel enthusiast and expenses it all on the company card lol
Usopp: LW/RW, and one of the top scorers when he’s backed up properly. Pretty underrated when initially being recruited, but shines under the Pirates’ strategy
Sanji: LW, and a pest. Basically he annoys people into fighting him HAHA. the perfect role for him. I wanted him to be LW primarily for the whole pirate king’s wings energy
Vivi: owner of the alabasta ducks! And a former olympic figure skater. Her and nami have a complicated on again / off again relationship, which mostly comes up whenever there’s a Ducks vs Pirates game (and they either get together / break up)
Chopper: ok, chopper was a complicated decision. I was caught between him being a gentle giant of a defenseman VS him being team doctor, but in the end decided that doctor required less justification
Robin: Robin was difficult to fit in. I ended up deciding on her being the Pirates local commentator. Commentator is fun at the least because there’s a lot of context/history/etc of the players on the ice you need to know to be good at the job, and i think she’d be HILARIOUS
Franky: Goalie! Franky fits well as goalie, first of all because of how beefy goalie equipment is, and second of all because a goalie with a big personality is quite fun. There’s something extremely fitting about him doing the ‘super’ move with leg guards
Brook is the Pirates DJ! What Else. i think he picks great songs for the stadium. zoro tells him to use mamma mia as sanji’s song and sanji nearly sends him into an early grave.
Jinbe: coach He was initially the goalie in a very early draft, but coach makes sense in terms of how he’d be able to support the team and his general level headedness. There’s a lot of clips of Paul Maurice, the Panther’s current coach, having this absolutely chill energy about him that’d work so well
Plotting/Planning Thoughts
I decided on ‘Double Overtime’ as the title pretty quickly, just because it’s (a) a hockey term and (b) a fun way to describe two people (double) caught in a time loop (overtime). The emphasis on double overtime as a win condition came after the title
I decided on ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Waterloo’ as the main song insp for these early on. Mamma Mia itself is this good mix of an upbeat song that’s just a bit sad and just a bit ominous, and the lyrics can be fun for a time loop (‘here I go again’). Waterloo was always the credits song (‘i feel like i win when I lose’ come on now)
I decided that I’d post in early June like the actual Stanley Cups, and 6/6 was decided on as the in-date and IRL start of the time loop because it’s Germa Day (66): something kind of poetic about Germa fucking up their perfect win on Germa day
Time Loop Win Condition
The time loop win condition! Zoro was always going to win and Sanji was always going to lose, but the details took a bit to figure out. I knew it was going to incorporate (a) him trusting Zoro and reaching out for help (impossible task for him), (b) him wanting to play hockey on a team that doesn’t hate him, (c) remix of Sanji’s Baratie arc, and (d) the concept of double overtime.
There was a lot of changing around on what exactly Sanji would be able to do; initial drafts actually had him coming out pretty clean from the double overtime deal (saving the Baratie) but that didn’t feel earned, I liked the kind of bittersweet selfish sacrifice of letting the team go, otherwise it’d feel a bit too contrived. this is already a late reveal loophole— it wouldn’t feel earned without that tinge of regret
In the end i liked what I went with, though I think I could’ve built up a little bit more before hand, and had a bit more emotional consequence to Baratie’s relocation. But ive written like, FIVE separate sad zeff phone calls in the last few months, i decided i had Enough. I had to Limit Myself. Only one sad zeff phone call this time for me ok
things to do differently
Look at me!!! Finishing a fic before i post!!! This was good actually, and meant the pacing was better than what i did with my last long fic lmao. Still had some issues imo, but considerably stronger on keeping scenes regularly paced. I should always do this.
IMO after reread (after it being finished for weeks) i think one of the weaker points is just really sanji’s apology– zoro figures out the duel time loop deal fairly fast (benefit of relying on other people) and folds pretty easily. I mean he’s unfortunately smitten but it doesn’t change the fact that he was hurt. There’s a specific degree of pulled punches I do sometimes with emotional moments that I’d like to get better at, but live and learn lol
Intermission
Hey i had a lot of notes on zoro’s POV the entire time loop. and also a lot of thoughts on the fade to black scene of my T rated fanfic. There were three main points I wanted to explore with Zoro’s POV
First: there’s a fun contrast with Zoro (VS Sanji) both feeling utterly alone as the lone person in the time loop and having an actual support network. Sanji talks to basically Iva, Zoro, and Reiju only during his loop, and all of them he keeps at arm’s length, but Zoro is both deadset on winning for his team, and lets his team helps him. Sanji is meanwhile stewing in his own anger alone, despite knowing he’s not the only person stuck there
Second: Zoro is way more of a time loop speedrunner. He has the timeline down pat. He thinks about the details of the game. He’s shaving off minutes of conversations. Sanji doesn’t plan as much, primarily because Zoro’s an unknown that shakes up the loop too much.
Third: the hookup lol. i liked the idea of their hookup being good but limited emotionally due to how closed off and testy sanji still is about the time loop– in the end an extension of him refusing to show zoro his own injuries. There is that enticing flash of vulnerability at the end, but then Zoro’s back to square one.
One of the first times i’ve written not like, funny porn for Z/S (which is my default), so look at me. Varying the porn i guess. congrats
epilogue
I have a lot of thoughts on an extended epilogue HAHA. i felt bad adding a secret sad smut chapter but not having the chance to do the opposite; i had one going but i spent like 4k on a luffy recruitment scene and decided… another time…
Zoro is smug about the whole ‘you only get to touch the stanley cup if you WIN!!!’ thing and uses it as an excuse to be the one to touch sanji in the pwp, since he never got the chance in the loop.
I also think luffy takes the stanley cup into the middle of the ocean, gives the one piece speech as usopp livestreams, and tosses it into the sea. Zoro and sanji have to save it (this is how it’s revealed sanji is somehow being traded to the pirates)

“My best years are behind me.” Erik Johnson knows what he is at this point of his career. But the Flyers will need him -- and fellow veteran Marc Staal -- if they are going to get into the playoffs.
Tumblr media
NOT ENOUGH CRYING EMOJIS FOR THIS ARTICLE
TAMPA, Fla. — If nothing else, Erik Johnson is self-aware. The newly acquired Philadelphia Flyers defenseman, after morning skate at Amalie Arena on Saturday, admitted he hasn’t had the greatest season as part of a disappointing Buffalo Sabres squad. And, even though his getting dealt offers him a fresh start with a new club, the 35-year-old is not suddenly going to turn the clock back a decade.
“It was really tough being 13 years in Colorado and then coming to a new team. I don’t think I really played my best hockey,” said Johnson, who signed a one-year contract with the Sabres in the offseason after spending the majority of his career with the Avalanche.
“My best years are behind me.”
The Flyers know that too, of course. Their acquisition of Johnson on Friday just before the NHL trade deadline, though, serves two purposes: It provides immediate help for what is both an inexperienced and banged-up blue line, and potentially enhances the team culture that both coach John Tortorella and general manager Danny Briere have labeled as the foundation of their rebuild.
His first game was one to forget, as the Flyers were run out of the building 7-0 by the Tampa Bay Lightning in a game that will primarily be remembered for Tortorella’s ejection midway through the first period and his refusal to leave the bench right away.
And the game was abnormal even before it started. The Flyers were forced to dress just five defensemen after Egor Zamula came down with an illness and Adam Ginning, reassigned to the AHL on Friday, was unable to make it back from the Philadelphia area in time due to weather-related flight delays, according to a team source.
In other words, it’s probably not all that advisable to form any broad conclusions from that game about how Johnson will or won’t contribute down the stretch. He was on the ice for Nick Paul’s power-play goal that made it 2-0 and maybe could have been harder around the net. He was also a bit flat-footed on Conor Sheary’s wrist shot from the high slot that made it 3-0, but Flyers goalie Samuel Ersson could have been better on both of those two scores, as well. He finished with a minus-1 rating in 19:57 of ice time, with two shots on goal and six hits.
And it’s not like anyone else on the Flyers was all that effective on Saturday either, as they got behind 4-0 midway through the first period.
“We’re usually a pretty decisive team,” assistant coach Brad Shaw, filling in for Tortorella, said after the game. “We’re usually setting the tone and playing a specific game and I thought we let them get to their game really quickly. …  Just never seemed to get our footing.”
The Flyers are fortunate in that they’ll have a chance to quickly put the brutal loss behind them when they host the league’s second-worst team, the San Jose Sharks, on Tuesday. One of the primary reasons they have managed to stay in the playoff race this season is because of their ability to quickly respond to poor efforts.
Still, they’re a bit of a different team now that they’ve lost Sean Walker, with his ability to help break the puck out of their own end and play that fast transition game that’s led to so much of the Flyers’ offense.
Johnson isn’t that type of player, and neither is another veteran who’s being relied on to play big minutes — Marc Staal, who skated in just 17 of the Flyers’ first 51 games and has now been thrust back into nightly duty with Jamie Drysdale, Rasmus Ristolainen and Nick Seeler still all on the shelf.
The Flyers seemed to realize they need to play differently in at least one of their two games after the Walker deal: They put forth an impressive, buttoned-up defensive performance in their 2-1 win in Florida on Thursday with rookies Ginning and Ronnie Attard making their respective season debuts on the blue line.
Part of the reason why they held the high-powered Panthers offense to just one goal was, according to Staal, everyone on the ice playing together as a five-man unit.
“Realizing the position we were in with some new guys coming in. I think our forwards — they always do a great job of being pretty aware defensively and playing as five,” Staal said. “We really focused on that before the game. … Just good structurally to get that one.”
Staal’s ice time has been steadily rising. He skated a season-high 19:10 on Saturday. And although he’s certainly not the fleetest of foot anymore at age 37, he has a positive expected goals percentage of 54.2 according to Natural Stat Trick, and at five-on-five has been on the ice for an even 12 goals for and 12 against.
Getting into a rhythm after being a frequent healthy scratch has helped.
“For sure. It’s definitely tough not playing when you’re used to being in the lineup every night your whole career so that was an adjustment,” he said. “Stayed positive and kept working and obviously getting an opportunity now and we’re playing really important games and it’s exciting for me to be back in and try to help this team win. … I’m starting to feel better on the ice, getting my legs and timing back more where I’m used to.”
When he signed a one-year deal in the offseason, the prevailing notion at the time was that Staal would be a prime candidate to get moved for, say, a mid-round draft pick ahead of the trade deadline. But Staal said on Saturday that it was always his intention to stay with the Flyers for the season, and now part of what has become a close group, he’s thrilled to be sticking around for the playoff chase.
“Been around these guys since September, I’ve definitely grown to enjoy this room and these guys and what we’re doing here,” Staal said. “Leaving really wasn’t a thought I had. You’ve just got to get in, you know? Get in the playoffs and see what happens. You never know.”
Staal knows that well as part of last season’s eighth-seeded Panthers who advanced to the Stanley Cup Final before losing to the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Flyers have to get there first, though. And in order to do that, both Johnson and Staal are going to have to play a role.
“You check your ego at the door, it’s about winning and it’s about building the culture and continuing to go on a big playoff push here,” Johnson said. “What I just told them was I’m here for whatever you need from me, here to be a good teammate, and do whatever I can for the guys.”

THE UNOFFICIAL ST. LOUIS BLUES PRIMER PART TWO: DEFENSEMEN
COLTON PARAYKO (A)
Info: #55, RD, STL 2012
Last season: 4 goals + 27 pts
History: He's actually pretty interesting and I would recommend just reading through his wikipedia for a more in-depth read. He went undrafted in the WHL, then got dropped by his AJHL team and had to pay to tryout with another team to become their 7th defenseman. After being drafted, he played at the University of Alaska Fairbanks for 3 years, then came up to play with the Blues and took several online classes during his rookie season in 15-16 to complete his degree (Business Admininstration)(he is so boring sometimes).
Profile: FAST when he wants to be, plays a ton of minutes on the first defensive pairing but isn't very physical despite being tall as hell (6'6). He's definitely improved from last season and has already nearly doubled his scoring in half the time. Usually on the first or second PP units.
NICK LEDDY
Info: #4, LD, MIN 2009
Last season: 2 goals + 23 pts
Info: From Minnesota and drafted by the Wild, went to college at the University of Minnesota, and by the time he left he had his rights traded to Chicago. He played there and won the cup in both 2013 and 2015, then played for the Islanders for a number of years. Traded to Detroit, then in the beloathed Sundqvist + Walman trade and has played with the Blues since the 21-22 season. Currently midway through a 4 year extension
Profile: VERY good puck protection and stickhandling, though it's not flashy. Great 200-foot player, can and will take the puck from one end straight to the other. Refreshing on a team that sucks ass at zone entries. Making $4 mil a year to be a top pairing defenseman which is damn good if you ask me
Other: My mom kept mixing up him and Bortuzzo. Unfortunately this won't be a problem anymore.
JUSTIN FAULK (A) (Faulker, Flack)
Info: #72, RD, CAR 2010
Last season: 11 goals + 50 pts (career high pts!)
History: Played in the USNTDP, then played at the University of Minnesota Duluth where he won a national championship and set a school record for most points by a defenseman. Played for the Hurricanes from 2011 through the 18-19 season, including being a co-captain and an alternate captain of the team. Traded to Blues and immediately signed a big 7 year contract. 23-24 season is his first as a Blues alternate captain :)
Profile: Solid two-way defenseman, plays a lot of minutes. Good a frequent shooter, a great blueline shot presence which allows lots of tipped goals a rebounds.
Other: Was in the top 20 for longest streak of consecutive NHL games played (17th??), but recently missed 5 games due to injury :( also he's my Favorite
TOREY KRUG
Info: #47, LD, undrafted
Last season: 7 goals + 32 pts
History: A rare undrafted veteran! He played for Michigan State University for 3 years, then signed with the Bruins and made it on the roster full-time by the 13-14 season. He graduated from Michigan State after doing online courses for over 5 years (Political Science, originally Finance but couldn't get credits online). Played with the Bruins in the 2019 SCF against the Blues, and his hit on Robert Thomas actually caused a new rule to be added! Signed a 7 year contract with the Blues as a free agent in 2020
Profile: Underized (5'9) but will throw around both his body and his hands. Decent offense and solid defense.
SCOTT PERUNOVICH (Scotty)
Info: #48, RD, STL 2018
Last season: 2 goals + 20 pts (AHL)
History: I've been very impatiently waiting for this guy's real rookie year for like four years now. He played for Minnesota Duluth (where he took the defenseman scoring title formerly held by Faulk), won the NCAA Frozen Four Championship, and won NCHC rookie of the year. He's a bit undersized (5'10, 175lb) and this has had him battling injuries for the last several seasons. He played 19 games with the Blues in the 21-22 season (including the winter classic!) but spent the entire 22-23 season on the Springfield Thunderbirds recovering from injuries.
Profile: has yet to score an NHL goal but has been a great scorer both in college and in the AHL. Physical player, not much NHL experience with under 50 games under his belt and no concrete defensive partner. Still finding his groove on a team that has struggled defensively
Other: Won the Hobey Baker award in his Junior year of college! Was originally ranked to be drafted around the fourth round, but due to his collegiate performance and Blues scout Keith Tkachuk (!!) he ended up being drafted much earlier
MARCO SCANDELLA
Info: #6, LD, MIN 2008
Last season: 1 goal + 2 pts
History: played his first several years in Minnesota, then in Buffalo, and was traded to both Montreal and then St. Louis in the 19-20 season. Only played 20 games of the 22-23 season due to an early season hip injury and surgery, and then another lower body injury in April that took him out for the rest of the season. He'll be a UFA at the end of the season.
Profile: Pretty run-of-the-mill third pairing defenseman, sometimes a healthy scratch. Blues have struggled defensively and are trying to develop younger defensemen, so he's often the one to be sidelined for them.
Other: his instagram username is @ scandeezy6 which is fucking awesome
TYLER TUCKER (Tucks)
Info: #75, LD, STL 2018
History: Technically in his sophomore season! Played 28 games last year, had his first goal and his first TWO fights. Played for both the San Antonio Rampage (RIP) and the Utica Comets (temporary affiliate) before debuting in Nov 2022. Not on the Blues roster at the moment but has played a non-insignificant amount of games with them!
Profile: A strong defenseman who is very physical. Hasn't had much of an opportunity to prove himself at the NHL level, but has had good offensive seasons in the past. Currently taking a break from the press box for a conditioning stint in Springfield :)

More Like War Ch. 2
(C.K. Dexter Haven voice) Hello friends and enemies. It’s been a while!
Tumblr media
Since this has been a pretty Sema-centric chapter:
Tumblr media
Alexander Semin knowing exactly what he is doing to Nicklas Bäckström
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mike Green, service dog in the Alexander Semin cheetah enclosure
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alexander Semin dealing with complex pyschosexual feelings about Alex Ovechkin
Boudreau
Listen. I actually really like Boudreau and think he's a good coach but man has writing this chapter reminded me of my Many Grudges Against Him. Every media quote was an actual quote, with only one having been padded a little.
Boudreau’s wildly Canadian Hockey Man quote about Nicke’s “toughness”:
“There’s something that’s ingrained in him,” Boudreau said. “You don’t think of it with Nick because he’s a blond, blue-eyed, Swedish, good-looking young man. But he’s got a toughness that belies all that, a toughness that coaches just love. He’s not going to fight, but he’s tough. I saw him last year where he could barely walk, but he was playing.”
The Red Wings game with the five penalties where only Sema was lambasted? 100% accurate!
Perhaps the best example came in a 3-2 loss to New Jersey at Verizon Center on Nov. 4, when Semin took three offensive-zone penalties, including one for hooking that led to a Devils goal. Afterward, Coach Bruce Boudreau was blunt in saying, "Alexander Semin has been in the league for five years and it’s just dumb penalties.”
Several days later, this reveal:
It’s believed that Semin has been playing through a litany of injuries, which might have something to do with his recent decline in production. He has not recorded a point in three straight games and has not scored a goal in six.
No points in three straight games! Can you imagine. I mean in 08-09 he did very much score at a 1.27 PPG pace (79 points in 62 games) so fair enough!
That CBJ Game
Earlier this week, Coach Bruce Boudreau said he believed the Blue Jackets planned to target Ovechkin by hitting the all-star every time he touched the puck. Columbus Coach Ken Hitchcock confirmed Tuesday that it was indeed his team’s strategy. “Run, chase, hunt down, hit, whatever word you want to use, that would be correct,” Hitchcock told reporters in Columbus. “He’s a very unique player because he gives it and he takes it. He doesn’t whine or cry about getting hit. He has fun in that role because the more you give it to him, the more he gives it back.”
Brooks Laich
Brooks Laich just absolutely could NOT stop hitting it out of the park with horny quotes about Alexander Semin:
It’s almost like God touched him on the shoulder and said, ‘You are wonderfully gifted’.”
The other part of that quote was taken from Olaf Kolzig.
“When you see a kid who has more talent than the reigning MVP, you want to see more,” Kolzig says of the 13th player taken in the 2002 draft. “He’s teasing you. The frustrating thing is he hasn’t gotten everything out of his talent. He doesn’t have the intangibles Ovie has. With Ovie there’s accountability. He’s had a bad groin and played through it. Ovie realizes what he has to live up to. So far [Semin] just puts up points.”
Misc.
Sema's weight and body composition played a big role in his injuries. He was hilariously infamous for never doing anything but cardio in the weight room. His weight in the press around this time was something like 209 lbs, but bless him he punctured that illusion real quick in this Russian interview from 2009:
Tumblr media
Pretty sure he was, in fact, threatened to gain weight but you ever try to get a cat to do anything?
Cameos in this chapter from...
Nicklas Lidström, the quote unquote "Perfect Human"
Tumblr media
Nicke has said he's the toughest defenseman he's ever played against.
Tumblr media
Slava Kozlov, an all time pain in the ass (affectionate) whose Red Wings nickname was Grump
Tumblr media
(bottom left, with Sergei Fedorov (center) and several of my all time faves)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dainius Zubrus, who does indeed Look Like That:
Tumblr media
He's actually Lithuanian but he did speak Russian and translated for Ovi and Sema in the early years.
Tumblr media
And finally, Sema's mouth thing he simply loved to do on the bench, uhhh NSFW!!

31.08. 00:25 | Ilo Pisara vs KEC 3 - 4
Well, well, well! What do we have here? A 3-4 loss against KEC. VETOJA HYVÄT HERRAT! With only 15 shots on goal, it’s like watching a toddler try to hit a piñata blindfolded—lots of swinging and missing but no candy in sight! Let’s break down the players: Macho Fantastico was our shining star with two goals and three points. If he were any more fabulous, he'd need his own reality show! Jani Saari also brought some heat with one goal and an impressive number of hits—13 to be exact; that guy could probably knock over a building if he wanted. But Teppo Winnipeg? Oh boy... I’m not saying you played poorly, but even my grandma's knitting circle has better shot attempts than your measly two. You’re supposed to be an offensive defenseman—not just standing there looking pretty while others do the heavy lifting! Historically speaking, this game is going into the “What Not To Do” archives for future reference. We’ve been riding high lately after those wins against REDMACHINE RUSSIA and tresbien—but now it's time for some serious soul-searching before we end up as meme material again. So let’s lace 'em tighter next time or prepare for another round of humiliation because Ilo Pisara isn’t about that life! Cheers—or should I say tears—to better days ahead! 🥳

Bruins lose to Colorado in a shootout in the first game of west coast road trip
On Monday night, the Bruins faced the Avalanche in a fast-paced game that showcased some of the league’s top teams playing high-quality hockey. Tied 3-3 after regulation and the five minute overtime, Avalanche forward Valeri Nichushkin ended the game with a shootout goal that took the game home for Colorado.
Full transparency, I missed most of the first period, so my impression comes from the play-by-play and the opinion of my father, who caught me up on what I had missed. The Bruins would draw first blood on their first power play opportunity—a tripping penalty on Cogliano—scored by Marchand and assisted by Zacha and Pastrnak. Colorado also had two first-period opportunities with the man advantage, the first being uncontrolled enough for the Bruins to take two shots on goal. The second, a tripping penalty on Coyle, resulted in a goal by Rantanen to tie the game 1-1, where it remained through the end of the 1st period.
It did not take Colorado long to gain momentum in the 2nd period, as a miscommunication between Shattenkirk and Zacha gave Avalanche winger O’Connor the opportunity to steal the puck in the Bruins’ zone and sink a wide open shot on Swayman. The Bruins continued to give opportunities to their opponents, as Heinen drew a tripping penalty while in their offensive zone, though this penalty was killed. Soon after, in a strange call from the officials, both teams were penalized for too many men, resulting in a 4-on-4 that did not impact the game, but felt should be included for how strange (and seemingly impossible) matching Too Many Men penalties is. Back at full strength, the Bruins would be the first to regain momentum and score when Beecher netted a rebound from an attempted wrap-around shot from Heinen, tying the game at 2-2 just after the halfway mark of the game. Colorado would not settle for this score as the period ticked down, and put up another goal with two minutes left in the second. This goal came from defenseman Malinski at the blue line on a shot through traffic that Swayman could not track. After the end of the second, Colorado was winning 3-2.
The Bruins would manage to tie the game six minutes into the third period, on an excellent opportunity created by Marchand and Coyle, who skated strongly to gain and maintain possession. While it was Marchand’s shot that would tie the game, Coyle waited patiently for the right moment to connect the pass and line Marchand up for his second goal of the game. The intensity of play increased after the tying goal, as both teams were looking for a win during regulation. While neither team connected for a goal at full strength, Grzelyck’s puck would find the face of Avalanche centerman Johansen, and the Bruins were sent on the penalty kill. This PK was crucial, not just to maintain the tie, but because it was announced before the third period that Brandon Carlo sustained an upper body injury and would be missing the rest of the game. Against such a fast, highly-skilled offense, Carlo was a tough loss, especially when it comes to killing penalties. Not only would the Bruins kill Grzelyck’s high-sticking penalty, they would also kill Lindholm’s interference penalty that was drawn with less than three minutes left in the game. The Bruins would take Colorado to overtime with a score of 3-3 at the end of regulation.
As the 3-on-3 play started in the Overtime both teams maintained strong possession with limited avoidable turnovers. The Bruins would be lucky when O’Connor drew a holding penalty on Zacha, giving Boston a man advantage through two of the five minutes of overtime. Despite their extra skater, the Bruins could not close out the game before the end of the five minutes, and were sent to the shootout. The Bruins sent DeBrusk first, who got the puck poked away by goalie Georgiev. MacKinnon was the Avs first shooter, who couldn’t get past Swayman’s glove. Coyle’s attempt went wide on a backhand, and Rantanen also failed a glove-side attempt on the Bruins goalie. Pastrnak would look for Georgiev’s 5-hole, but be blocked, which left Colorado the chance to end it by scoring with their third shooter. They sent out Nichushkin, who finally was able to put it past Swayman’s glove, and clutch the win for Colorado.
As mentioned, I missed a good chunk of this game, so I am not fully sure the context of a lot of what happened. Losing Carlo certainly played into the result of the game. Both third period penalties were drawn by defensemen, likely a result of fatigue from playing extra minutes to cover the gaps. Hopefully the Bruins are prepared to fill Carlo’s spot in the lineup, as their next game is tonight, Tuesday January 9th, at 9PM against the Arizona Coyotes.

Sometimes the teams without the "stars" are some of the best teams though, something to think about! Think about team canada last year...team of stars and they still lost. I am holding my judgement until I see the actual team and how they play
nice devil's advocate take anon
i would say that i agree that the teams without the stars do sometimes win and sometimes the teams with the stars lose. it's hockey, it's all a game of bounces.
but take a look at who canada lost to last year. it's not like team usa was DEVOID of their stars. zegras was amazing and so was caufield, and that talent was bolstered by others such as matt boldy and alex turcotte and matty beniers who helped drive offense. silver to a team like that could be argued as deserved.
and team canada wasn't perfect last year either. sure they had stars, but they made questionable decisions such as riding kaiden guhle like a horse and benching kaedan korczak in the gold medal game and jack quinn on the team over seth jarvis. the issue, like the issue this year, all came down to coaching. because it wasn't the stars that lost them the game. it was kaiden guhle having two gigantic defensive miscues that lead to the only two goals in the final. one could argue that he shouldn't have been there in the first place and that the coaching staff made a mistake by playing him so much.
in the end, it came down the coach's decisions on what they wanted the team to do and be that hurt them.
this year, it's a lot of the same unfortunately. brandt clarke left off the team because they're trying to choose grinding defenseman over offensive defensemen. brennan othmann left off the team because the team absolutely needed ridly "gets suspended at the beginning of every whl season" grieg in that role instead. matt savoie being overlooked because he's too small to even be considered. dave cameron is notorious for liking players who are physical presences and just about nothing else. sandpaper over talent every time.
i don't trust him running this team if i'm being honest. he got released from hockey canada in 2011 because they lost a 3-0 lead (biggest comeback ever in wjc history) to russia in the third period and lost the gold medal. he hasn't coached internationally since.
you're right that we have to see this team in action before we pass judgement. but it's team canada, of course they'll play fine. when it comes down to the medal rounds or even the gold medal though, there may be a defensman or forward who shouldn't have been there, and only is because of dave cameron, making the kaiden guhle-esque mistake. one that wouldn't happen if brennan othmann or brandt clarke were on the team.
and that's on hockey canada going with what the coach "likes" as opposed to what the team actually needs

Well our playoffs did not start out very well personally. I think some stuff that happened prior to leaving for the game got in my head more than I realized but I feel that deserves its own post.
Both teams had some subs who normally play in the slightly higher league. Ours was for our best defenseman while theirs was on offensive. That gave them a considerable advantage I think, which did not combine well with my horrible start and we were down by three about halfway through the first period. I felt overall the play had been back and forth and I was able to make one decent save late in the period at least but was still upset at myself.
In the second I played better but there were still more goals, though not entirely my fault this time. Their offensive skilled sub skated through four guys on our team before beating my crappy angles. Later we coughed the puck up low to a pretty skilled shooter who also took advantage of my bad angles. We at least got one from our sub during a powerplay and I did make some good saves on breakaways when we were trying to push to score.
The third period was my best of the night personally, as well as for the team. We were still giving up some chances because we were playing aggressively to try to score goals so I had to make some more saves but managed to do so and didn't let anything in for the period. We finally got our offense going some too, even though it was late. We were pushing to get one more to have at least just a one goal difference when it was 5-3 late. I went to the bench for an extra attacker and we created a few good chances before giving up the puck and giving them a few chances on the empty net. The first stop was good but our player wasn't able to make the second.
After that it was pretty much decided even though we did end up scoring another one right as time ran out for a 4-6 final score. Our upper level sub had one goal, I think theirs had 2 or 3 and was involved in two other scoring plays.
It was good at least that we got better through the game I felt but it was certainly upsetting how badly I played to start and felt losing this one was pretty majorly my fault.
Oh well.
The pic is the other ice sheet at the arena, they have it closed down all week for some sort of maintenance.

for the gear question: tyson barrie?
hi anon! thanks for the ask! this one will actually probably be pretty funny, considered until now, i didn't really know much about tyson barrie other than his name! basically, i'm flying very blind here, but i hope you enjoy my writeup on his gear!
there will be a summary and some highlight clips at the end of this post :) thank you again for your ask, anon! i hope you enjoy this writeup on his gear!
---
So, to start off, let's get Tyson Barrie's current gear specs:
Helmet: Bauer, 4500
Glove: CCM, Quicklite
Stick: CCM, Ribcor Trigger 5 Pro
Skates: Bauer, Vapor 2X Pro
My very first impression of Barrie with looking at this ensemble of gear is that if he isn't a goon, he definitely comes off as one. Barrie also seems like he's got a bit more of an "old school" vibe to his game. On the other hand, he seems like a person who's bold and dynamic both on and off the ice, but doesn't have a need for anything too fancy. The simpler gear gets the job done just fine.
This setup is kind of odd to me; it's logical, but it's definitely odd. I say all this because not a ton of NHL guys will mix brands like Barrie has, they're often loyal to one brand or at least sponsored by one of them. It's not often that you see players in the NHL with a half and half split like this. Most of his stuff is either not advanced at all, or it was when it first released.
His helmet choice is one of the major reasons I think he's possibly a goon (or comes off as one at least) is because it's not a high quality helmet at all. It retails at about 70$ (this is very, very cheap for hockey helmets), and is far from the most protective or most advanced helmet any brand offers on the market. It doesn't have the technology of most modern helmets. It's very basic and is better than not wearing a helmet, but not by a lot. Worth noting is that the 4500 helmet has a very classic look by design (this also honestly ties into why I think he's probably got a more "old school" style to his game):
Tumblr media
This looks kinda familiar, right? Probably because most helmets used to look pretty similar:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
His gloves are a bit older, now, too, having released in 2016; most pieces of gear have a "life cycle" of a few years. The Quicklite has been discontinued, probably for about 3 or 4 years now given it appears to have come out in around 2016. "Quicklite" is no longer a family name used by CCM, and appears to have become the Jetspeed line by now. Jetspeed is a pretty versatile line of products as far as their protective equipment and their sticks go. This glove isn't really specialized towards any one playing style, but was a pretty lightweight and advanced glove for its time. They also tend to have a more tapered and "close to the hand" fit, which a lot of players really like.
The skates and the stick, despite being different brands, tells me pretty much the same thing: Barrie likes to be quick and agile. He likes to have options on the ice. Given he's a defenseman, and a very small one at that (5'11" and 197lbs), this makes sense. He mostly likes getting those quick snapshots and quick wrist shots off when he's on the ice. Vapor and Ribcor are built for pretty much the same purpose, with just a few differences in the details. He may not be a big guy, physically, but it looks like his presence on the ice is huge and that he's able to get where he needs to be in no time at all. He looks like another one of those defensemen that can play both sides of the game pretty well and seems to actually contribute offensively quite a bit!
The TL:DR on Tyson Barrie; He seems to have a small dash of chaos to his personality, but overall seems like he'd be great to hang out with. He seems somewhat unpredictable, but in the best way possible. He's probably the guy who's just there to have a good time, even if he's doing something super mundane. He doesn't need anything super extravagant to make him happy, and he likes to stick with what he's got/what's familiar vs. getting the latest and greatest as soon as it comes out. If he's not a goon, he'll at least stand up for people if he needs to, because that's just how it should be.
Here's a couple fun videos I found where y'all can see him in action:
Video 1 (with Colorado)
Video 2 (a really neat goal with Edmonton!)
got someone you want me to talk about? send me their name here!

hi James, love your blogging! just wondering, did you ever make an updated-through-the-2021-season version of that Leafs primer you had last year? if not, would you happen to know anybody on here who has made something like it? looking to give my roommate a crash course on who everyone is before they watch the game with me tonight. if you don’t have anything, that’s totally fine, enjoy the game!!
hello. the answer to both those questions is no, but i will literally do one to two sentence player summaries under the cut right now, and i will keep a tally of how many times i have to google. it will not be many.
let me just start with the big four:
auston matthews: #34, first overall in 2016 and first line center, won the richard this year with 41 goals in like 53 games or something crazy. highest drafted latino player ever, theres lot of baggage here, im sure u can explain all this to ur friend but itd take too long to get into it here
mitch marner: #16, fourth overall in 2015, best playmaker on the team, first line rw. human energizer bunny and the best player on the team. hella sexy on the pk, i love him.
william nylander: #88, eighth overall in 2014, second line lw, best skater on the team, also best at zone entries. severely underrated and notoriously hated by the toronto media and also don cherry.
john tavares: #91, second line center, drafted 1st overall to the islanders in 2009. signed w the leafs in 2018 (hometown boy!!! johnny toronto!!!), best captain ever, sexiest man on the team. i love him.
and uh now i will finish the first two lines and then go into lines 3 and 4:
zach hyman: #11, drafted by the panthers and then signed w the leafs because fuck the cats (jk i like them so much but zach didnt so. toronto), lw on the first line, penalty killing KING, the sparkplug of the team. bounces around the lineup but not because hes bad, hes genuinely that versatile of a player. also jewish, which is cool. king.
nick foligno: acquired at the trade deadline, plays rw on either the first or second line depending on injuries, i love him. was the captain of the cbj for like a while, which is neat because he left them for the team they knocked out of the bubble last year. hilarious.
alsx galchenyuk: my beloved. #12, my favorite number, will probably be out of the lineup for at least game 1 because the leafs are literally too good. has a whole saga involved w his career, but used to be a hab and was drafted 3rd overall by them, which is important for this playoffs. king.
third line:
mikheyev-nash-kerfoot
ilya mikheyev: #65, penalty killing king, cannot score shorthanded to save his life but he DESERVES it. signed in the 2019 offszn. i love him.
riley nash: #20, another cbj newbie. originally acquired for cap shenanigans, going into the lineup because hes a veteran and great defensive center. we'll see how this goes.
alex kerfoot: #15, acquired in the kadri trade, another great pker. i love him, he has more points than pld this season, hes great.
AND NOW FOR THE OLD MAN LINE.
jason spezza: #19, actual literal hall of famer, was with the sens and then the stars and now hes HOME, and i love him, and hes amazing. my dad.
joe thornton: #97, another literal hall of famer, was on the sharks FOREVER, now is here and very excited about it. has been decent this season, which was surprising to me, and i love him now. my friend sarah thinks hes hot.
wayne simmonds: #24, my beloved, used to be a flyer, he was exactly who i wanted dubas to sign this offseason, i adore him. my mom.
aaaaand now the dmen:
morgan rielly: #44, dating tessa virtue, the team's best offensive defenseman. people are mad at him rn because hes kinda sucked. we'll see how he does, but i love him either way.
thomas james brodie: #78, i love him i love him i love him i love him. signed from the flames this past offszn, best dman this team has seen in probably decades. i love him.
jake muzzin: #8, acquired from the kings, i love him deeply. will punch a bitch in the face and crush them also. love him.
justin holl: #3, works hard loves the game (and the boys), underrated as fuck. been in the organization forever and a day. i love him.
travis dermott: #23, boyfriend material, also been in the org forever, i love him deeply. third pairing/seventh d guy, does his job stupidly well for the disaster it must be to try to do it.
rasmus sandin: #38, drafted 29th overall in 2018, king king KING, hes amazing, holy shit hes so good especially for how young he is, i love him so much, king of my heart, king of this entire blog. i love him.
ben hutton: #55, acquired at the trade deadline, just happy to be here, will maybe get into the lineup if theres injuries, i love him.
GOALIES:
jack campbell: #36, the only goalie that matters, actual sunshine on skates, id let him **** me (thats big for me), i adore him. hes amazing. broke a carey price record this season. king.
freddie andersen: #31, i wish he was still good but he just isnt any more, it makes me deeply sad. hes still sexy tho
dave rittich: #33, BIG SAVE DAVE, acquired from cgy at the deadline, im very fond. will only get into the playoffs if theres insane injuries.
ok so i didnt google any of this but i did check the nhl app like 3 times for numbers. so. i hope this works lmao
