rue nation wake up, new rue au just dropped!!

actor rue. famed for staring in a lot of wild horror movies (all directed by upcoming director, enver gortash. dont look too closely at their relationship)

she makes a great final girl and an even better killer. looks hot covered in blood (its why gortash always has at least 2 scenes where shes drenched in it)

over time she starts feeling as if shes trapped in the roles gortash writes for her (she hasnt properly expanded out into other genres / working with other directors because why would she? gortash gets her vision)

but she decides to give it a shot. notable newcomer wyll ravengard is making a rom-com that sounds super fun to be apart of so she auditions and gets the lead role. (really, rue? you're supporting nepotism in the industry? and here i thought you wanted to help me break down the system - gortash, most likely)

and then there's gale dekarios, who got his start in theatre but managed to make the jump to the big screen. stuck in getting type casted as "romantic leads friend" and he wants to prove that he is a good actor. he went to drama school! his mentor was the mystra!! let him act, godsdamnit!

he auditions for the other main role in wyll's upcoming film and gets the part!

and then rue and gale meet and its really great and their chemistry both on and off screen is amazing.

rue gets him gigs that push his range and gale starts getting her non-horror related roles (much to gortash's dismay). and then... they fall in love 👀

shoutout to @kaleido-scope-lady for yapping with me about actor rue last night. honourable mention that her oc ophelia is the one to push rue out of horror by tweeting that she "has no range" and "doesnt understand the genre"

like for ls i tend to critique the members' actions while for uu i tend to critique its editing (i also do vice versa ofc but not nearly as often as those), ig this has something to do with my expectations of each respective server; for ls the member interactions are what im there for, while for uu the storytelling is what im there for. on the other hand i basically never critique plot points lmao, as far as im concerned shit just happens sometimes and thats ok

i miss my spanish prof from winter semester ugh she was so cool. like imagine being 33 years old with 2 bachelor's degrees, a master's, and working on a phD while also having travelled the world and being a polyglot. AND she had some really interesting philosophical and political takes. #whitechileanwomanW . my current spanish prof (whitey old lady from spain) is really nice but she's always making fun of chileans for saying the V in a pronounced manner. anyway.

arakawa's interchangeability between calling sawashiro 'jo' and 'sawashiro' makes me loco cause i cant really discern when he decides to refer to him as one or the other. except i can.

when it comes to 'professional' matters (i.e. explaining the 'arakawa party' to ichi and explaining the coup against aoki) he refers to him as 'sawashiro'

alternatively, when speaking directly to him and personal matters (i.e. asking ichiban for the two of them to get along) he calls him 'jo' (this literally the same scene as the 'arakawa party' bye you might be able to argue this can be a professional matter too tbh ngl--)

so when arakawa calls sawashiro 'jo' while explaining The Murder to ichi on new years day bitch im going to eat dry wall

wednesday i had a job interview, they asked me to come to the office and the interview lasted literally 8-9 minutes. they said they'd get back to me in 24 hours, specifically she said they'll "send an offer" then as i was leaving i was like so I'll hear back from you in 24 hours? and they were like yeah 24-48 hours im like okay cool and i leave. despite the interview lasting less than 10 minutes i thought it went well mainly because they didn't question me that much which generally means theyre not that picky. regardless its been 48 hours i didn't get anything, i text the recruiter on WhatsApp (bc thats how she contacted me after the first call) and she left me on read 😭😭😭 i need to burn these companies DOWNNN
