A Georgia mom is outraged over an interactive lesson taught during her daughter's field trip to the historic Mable House plantation in the city of Mableton, where third-graders were asked to simulate a slave auction by holding up signs containing dollar amounts equal to the prices of cars – except, in this instance, numbers indicated the value of humans.
"They lined the kids up. They had them to pick cars they wanted to be. So it was like $1,300, $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, and it ranged from like Honda, Acura, Lamborghini, Ferrari. Each kid chose a car, and basically she [the instructor] began to explain to them that they're being sold. Each one of them had a real bill of sale in front of them, and she was explaining to them the cost analogy of them being sold then as a slave child today would be the equivalent of whatever car they were," Gladese Cleaves told Fox News Digital on Monday.
Cleaves said her 9-year-old daughter came home and told her about the field trip by referring to one her friends as a Lamborghini and then referring to herself as a Ferrari. The comments caught her attention, so she called her oldest daughter, who chaperoned the event, to ask what happened.
She then contacted her younger daughter's teacher at W.C. Abney Elementary School via email and spoke with her over the phone.
UTAH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CANCELS SLAVERY REENACTMENT AFTER PARENT OUTRAGE
"What was crazy is that the teacher, when I called… her response was, ‘I explained to the children that these were nice slave owners,'" Cleaves recalled. "This is exactly what she said to me. She said, ‘I explained to the children that these were nice slave owners because they treated the slave like family.’I said, 'Don't say it again, Mrs. Westmoreland.' There's no way you could put nice and slave owner in the same sentence. There's no way."
She met with the principal, who, according to FOX 5 Atlanta, told parents the following in a letter:
"The lesson had never been part of the Mable House's curriculum for Abney students prior to that day, nor was it described in the field trip materials or mentioned on the Mable House website," the letter read.
Cleaves said the school's statement addressing the issue and the eventual ban on future trips to the site came after media reached out to the institution.
MOCK SLAVERY LESSON AT CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL STIRS OUTRAGE AMONG PARENTS
She argued she has still received no compassion from all fronts, and she believes school officials found the incident justifiable since a Black woman – donning attire synonymous with enslaved people from the antebellum South – had narrated the activity.
Cleaves's primary concern throughout the ordeal, however, was her daughter and how she said the assignment gave her a false narrative about a dark time in history by making slavery appear benign.
"They [the students] left there thinking that slavery was fine and that they clapped and that they danced and that it was a choice and that they could leave any time. That was the narrative that my child left there with on top of being on a chopping auction block," she said.
Cleaves said parents were not previously notified that the field trip would mention slavery and explained that they were told students would engage in arts and crafts while learning about 19th century history.
"The permission slip says nothing about that. It's little stick people in a wagon. So you think they're going to go learn about how corn was made, and they did learn about potato houses the slaves cooked in and that kind of thing, but nothing to the extent of them playing and running around a whipping tree because there's a whipping tree there with marks all over it. None of this were things that we were told," she said.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PULLED AFTER ALLEGEDLY JOKING TO STUDENTS ABOUT SLAVERY, DISABLED PERSONS: REPORT
A photo of the permission slip provided to Fox News Digital mentioned chaperones, lunch plans for students, what children should wear to the trip and expected departure and arrival times.
Cleaves called for diversity, equity and inclusion training to better inform school officials on how to handle such situations, arguing that the teacher – who claimed she was unaware of how the activity would go – should have been better informed.
"What they're saying now is that the teacher didn't know that the narrator was going to do this. Let's give the benefit of the doubt. I believe that she did [know] because she helped paint the narrative of the cost analogy after the narrator spoke, so I'm not buying into any of that," she said.
Cleaves said the most harrowing part of the entire experience was telling her daughter the truth about slavery after the project gave her a false narrative.
"The horrible part of this, all of this outside of my child believing a false narrative, outside of what she's been taught, is watching my child as I had to explain to her in depth why this was wrong and how her civil rights were violated and the truth about slavery. And literally watching the tears and the innocence leave her with exposing the truth at 9 years old because something else was given to her, meaning she would have learned about it, but it would have been in steps."
Fox News Digital reached out to an affiliate of the Mable House and Cobb County PARKS, to which the house is leased, but did not receive a comment from either.
The field trip programs occur through a nonprofit organization, however.
For News Digital also reached out to Paulding County School District for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.

Adventure Time universe Opinions
I'm actually creating worlds for characters Flynn the Human Being and Lynn the Person. They were introduced in the episode Five Short Tables. Flynn is a genderbend of Fionna and Lynn is a genderbend of Flynn. The worlds are still in development but these are the main ideas.
Flynn's world is like Fionna's except they still have all of the magical beings and the Ice President is a dictator.
Lynn's world is a world where humans never fled to the islands and instead stayed and an all out war between magical creatures and humans has been ongoing for centuries.
Do these character names seem alright?
Fionna Campbell = Flynn Murphy = Lynn Cadogan
Cake the Cat = Jacques the Raccoon = Janet the Fox
Marshall lee = Marcella = Marc Lain
Prince Gumball = Princess Sour Gum = Prince Mint Gum
Ice Queen/Simone = Ice President/Silas = Ice Mistress/Sloane
Hunter Wizard = Forest Chaser = Forest Stalker
Flame Prince = Ember Empress = Blaze Chief
Fern = Finch = Flower
Hana Abadeer = Huntley Abbott = Hansi Abney
The next two are the family members who don't have names in Fionna's universe so I used Finns family
Minerva Campbell = Michaela Cadogan = Milford Cadogan
Martin Mertens = Marcus Murphy = Marlene Murphy
Joshua = Joseph = Joselyn
Margaret = Marissa = Marland
Jermaine = Jeffrey = Jennifer

Book Blurb:
Pre-order your new obsession from TikTok sensation Grace Reilly, a spicy brother’s rival hockey romance! Perfect for fans of Hannah Grace, Liz Tomforde and Elsie Silver.
He’s my brother’s biggest hockey rival…but he’s bringing the heat for me.
Nikolai
Hockey is my life, and I need to make this last season count. But when I’m forced to transfer to rival school McKee University for my senior year, I risk pissing off the captain, who happens to be the older brother of Isabelle Callahan: the gorgeous beam of sunshine I messed around with in secret this summer.
Rekindling our fling could risk her brother icing me off the team—not to mention the fact that my scarred past makes having a real relationship impossible—and yet the moment I see Isabelle again, all my wild, burning feelings come rushing back.
Izzy
I have two goals for sophomore year: win back my old volleyball position, and forget I ever knew devilishly handsome hockey defenseman Nikolai Abney-Volkov. As the youngest and only daughter in a family full of athletes, failure isn’t an option.
But when Nik crashes back into my life, I can’t stay away from his broody charm. I’m determined to guard my heart this time, but between the furtive hookups and the heartfelt conversations, the lines between friends-with-benefits and more begin to blur.
As we fall deeper into a place we can’t come back from unscathed, we’ll have to make a choice: fight for a future together, or watch it go up in flames.
Filled with swoons, spice, sports, and koalas, Wicked Serve is a don’t-miss new adult college sports romance.
Review:
He's her brother's biggest hockey rival and she's the volleyball player that is off limits... yet what was only suppose to be a summer fling turns into something more when he transfers to her college hockey team and is determined to keep their situationship going... but she's a romantic at heart and wants more... that is if he is even able to. Nikolai lives and breathes hockey, his entire childhood his abusive father trained him to be the best until Nikolai finally left the Russian hockey team and moved with his mom.. yet after an incident with his team where he covered for his teammates, he is expelled. So Nikolai makes a deal with his grandfather: if he is grandfather helps him get into the college and play hockey he'll give up hockey after college and take over the family business. There's just one teeny tiny hitch, Isabelle, the girl he's in love with whom he had a summer fling with and the very same little sister of his former hockey rival and now new teammate/captain. Nikolai and Izzy are magnets but have decided to keep their a relationship a secret... but the longer it goes on the harder it gets to hide. It doesn't help that Nikolai's father is breathing down his neck and he hasn't told Izzy about any of his family issues. Izzy is also struggling to keep lying to her brothers and the fact that she is meant to be focusing on her position as a volleyball setter but feeling like she isn't good enough. Both Izzy and Nikolai are so supportive of one another and dearly love one another, and the steam is great in this book. I had a lot of fun reading it and yeah it did feel a bit long, like 100 pages too long and it could have been shortened because the drama in this book did not warrant that much time. However, overall I had fun, the spicy scenes were great, and the romance was a happy one.

LORD OF MISRULE - Review
DISTRIBUTOR: Magnet Releasing
Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS: Rebecca Holland, along with her husband, Henry, and their 9-year-old daughter, Grace, has now spent a full year in their new home, the small British village of Berrow, where Rebecca is the vicar of the local church. Berrow’s annual four-day autumn festival approaches, a time when villagers dress up in strange costumes and a masked figure known as the Lord of Misrule leads them in casting out the evil spirit Gallowgog. For this year’s reenactment Grace has been chosen to play the Harvest Angel. As dusk falls, Rebecca loses track of Grace in the throng of villagers in a ceremonial field where bonfires burn. Rebecca searches for her in vain, but Grace has disappeared. A desperate search begins and Rebecca uncovers secrets from the town’s dark past. Soon, she must decide how much she is willing to sacrifice to rescue her daughter from the grip of the evil that dwells in Berrow.
REVIEW: The director of “The Devil Inside,” “The Boy,” and “Orphan: First Kill,” comes a haunting folk tale of a secluded community in the British isles that practices a pagan ritual steeped in a horrific truth. The film is an excellent marriage of narrative and visuals to craft a terrifying tale.
I love Tom DeVille’s narrative. He does a superb job of mixing this pagan tale with contemporary themes and adds in a supernatural element with an evil spirit, Gallowgog, to create a horrifying fairy tale that is every parent’s worst nightmare. The Lord of Misrule is a tale that is found in European cultures, with its origin being traced back to the Roman celebration of Saturnalia, that took place from the 17th to 23rd December. In the film, De Ville anchor’s the legend as part of a harvest celebration. He brings in some of the background of how the Catholic Church and the Church of England forced their religion onto the local people and replaced their festivals with Christian ones. Clearly there is a troubled past brewing at the Holland household. Rebecca and Henry are having issues, and when we first meet Grace we get an idea that something is wrong. Is that a result of the darkness that resides in the town or something the family is trying to escape. Rebecca tightly holds onto her beliefs as she is confronted by the town’s grim history; she demonstrates a strength through her logic that leaves the viewer feeling she might survive this encounter. There is just so much here for the sophisticated genre fan to sink their teeth into given everything DeVille weaves into the story.
Filmmaker William Brent Bell, as with several of his previous films but more so here, has an excellent location that permits him the opportunity to create a visually arresting fairy tale nightmare for De Ville’s story to play out in. Add to that excellent productions designs, costume designs, with arresting visual and special effects that make for a hypnotic tale. He does an excellent job of pacing the film as to allow the viewer to feel Rebecca’s becoming disoriented in the horrors that develop without slowing the film down. Brett Detar’s score adds so much to the film. There is a particular moment in the film when the town folks show up with food and start setting up for dinner where the score underpins Rebecca’s mental state and the insanity of everything that is going on around them. Itadds depth to the visuals and enhances the build ups of terror and suspense.
LORD OF MISRULE features an exceptional ensemble cast. There is an aspect to the supporting cast that I found reminiscent of Rosemary Woodhouse’s neighbors in Polanski’s film. I loved actor Ralph Ineson’s performance as Jocelyn Abney. It is grounded more in a character that feels lifted from today’s news feeds like a Brexiteer or Maga Republican. It makes for a new kind of sinister. Evie Templeton does not have much screen time as Grace, but what she delivers is enchanting and horrifying at times. Tuppence Middleton is someone who you’ll know that you’ve seen before, and clearly her performance here demonstrates why she has appeared in so many projects, from episodic shows to big studio features. Her portrayal of Rebecca is an emotional rollercoaster ride that conveys the intense emotional journey of the character as she navigates this cinematic nightmare.
Filmmaker William Brent Bell and screenwriter Tom DeVille, along with a marvelous cast headed by Tuppence Middleton and Ralph Ineson, tell a rich and haunting tale that is as much an epic horror tale as it is social commentary. This spellbinding cinematic tale is a complex visual and narrative experience that feels like it could be based on a bestselling novel from a master of the genre. LORD OF MISRULE is a film worth going to the cinema to experience. Bell and DeVille are an impressive team who I’d welcome an opportunity to take in something they might again unite on.

Some random details about my FNaF AU because I feel like talking about it here
I have a FNaF AU called "Guarded" that I haven't spoken about here like, at all, so I'm gonna do that with random bullet points
The Bite Victim's name is Joseph (because stealing a name from Squimpus is more honorable to me than giving into the Evan myth)
Henry, Sammy, and Charlie are the "Parks" family, not the Emily family - Emily is Charlie's middle name. Yes I resisted the temptation to call her "Charlie Door" or "Charlotte E. Cheese"
William and Henry do have extremely gay moments thank you. Does that mean I'm going to let them be happy? You'll just have to read it and see.
Andrew is one of the characters of all time.
Michael, after the death of his brother due to his own bullying, goes from master prankster and general funnyman to having a really grim sense of humor that few other people find funny.
FNaF 2 doesn't happen. Jeremy Fitzgerald, the Mangle, and a certain event with those two characters does occur in 1987, but Freddy's is continuously open from the mid-60s to mid-90s, never closing and then reopening and then reclosing and rereopening because that doesn't need to happen.
Vanessa (last name Abney) is a night guard at the pizzeria in the '90s and her Vanny arc happens significantly earlier.
Sister Location is one of the games of all time.
The thirty-year gap between FNaF 1's events and FNaF 3's events was too boring so I've filled it with Sister Location, the Stitchline, the Pizzaplex, and hopefully some original stories.
The first story should be published by the end of Spring; I'm waiting for a review of it from my writing professor last semester.
All of this information is stuff I'm fine with people knowing going into the stories, but if I want to share more specific details on here I will most likely use spoiler tags as to give people the option.

Isaac Watts (1674-1748) Appreciation Post
I read up on the brilliant hymnwriter whose songs we still sing today, even though we usually don’t know who wrote them!
Tumblr media
The Wikipedia description of his background:
Watts was born in Southampton, Hampshire, England, in 1674 and was brought up in the home of a committed religious nonconformist; his father, also Isaac Watts, had been incarcerated twice for his views. Watts had a classical education at King Edward VI School, Southampton, learning Latin, Greek, and Hebrew.
Watts displayed a propensity for rhyme from an early age. He was once asked why he had his eyes open during prayers, to which he responded:
A little mouse for want of stairs ran up a rope to say its prayers.
He received corporal punishment for this, to which he cried:
O father, father, pity take And I will no more verses make.
Watts could not attend Oxford or Cambridge because he was a nonconformist and these universities were restricted to Anglicans—as were government positions at the time. He went to the Dissenting Academy at Stoke Newington in 1690. Much of the remainder of his life centred on that village, which is now part of Inner London.
Following his education, Watts was called as pastor of a large independent chapel in London, Mark Lane Congregational Chapel, where he helped train preachers, despite his poor health. He held religious opinions that were more nondenominational or ecumenical than was common for a nonconformist Congregationalist. He had a greater interest in promoting education and scholarship than preaching for any particular sect.
Watts took work as a private tutor and lived with the nonconformist Hartopp family at Fleetwood House on Church Street in Stoke Newington. Through them, he became acquainted with their immediate neighbours Sir Thomas Abney and Lady Mary. He eventually lived for a total of 36 years in the Abney household, most of the time at Abney House, their second residence. (Lady Mary had inherited the manor of Stoke Newington in 1701 from her late brother Thomas Gunston.)
On the death of Sir Thomas Abney in 1722, his widow Lady Mary and her unmarried daughter Elizabeth moved all her household to Abney House from Hertfordshire, and she invited Watts to continue with them. He particularly enjoyed the grounds at Abney Park, which Lady Mary planted with two elm walks leading down to an island heronry in the Hackney Brook, and he often sought inspiration there for the many books and hymns that he wrote.
Watts lived at Abney Hall in Stoke Newington until his death in 1748; he was buried in Bunhill Fields. He left an extensive legacy of hymns, treatises, educational works, and essays. His work was influential amongst nonconformist independents and religious revivalists of the 18th century, such as Philip Doddridge, who dedicated his best-known work to Watts.
The title page of Isaac Watts' "Guide to Prayer", fourth edition, 1725
Sacred music scholars Stephen Marini, Denny Prutow and Michael LeFebvre describe the ways in which Watts contributed to English hymnody and the previous tradition of the Church. Watts led the change in practice by including new poetry for "original songs of Christian experience" to be used in worship, according to Marini. The older tradition was based on the poetry of the Bible: the Psalms. According to LeFebvre, Psalms had been sung by God's people from the time of King David, who with a large staff over many years assembled the complete book of Psalms in a form appropriate for singing (by the Levites, during Temple sacrifices at the time). The practice of singing Psalms in worship was continued by Biblical command in the New Testament Church from its beginnings in Acts through the time of Watts, as documented by Prutow. The teachings of 16th-century Reformation leaders such as John Calvin, who translated the Psalms in the vernacular for congregational singing, followed this historic worship practice. Watts was not the first Protestant to promote the singing of hymns; however, his prolific hymn writing helped usher in a new era of English worship as many other poets followed in his path.
Watts also introduced a new way of rendering the Psalms in verse for church services, proposing that they be adapted for hymns with a specifically Christian perspective. As Watts put it in the title of his 1719 metrical Psalter, the Psalms should be "imitated in the language of the New Testament." Besides writing hymns, Isaac Watts was also a theologian and logician, writing books and essays on these subjects.
From the Christianity Today article:
Young Isaac showed genius early. He was learning Latin by age 4, Greek at 9, French (which he took up to converse with his refugee neighbors) at 11, and Hebrew at 13. Several wealthy townspeople offered to pay for his university education at Oxford or Cambridge, which would have led him into Anglican ministry. Isaac refused and at 16 went to London to study at a leading Nonconformist academy. Upon graduation, he spent five years as a private tutor.
In 1702 he became pastor of London's Mark Lane Independent (i.e. Congregational) Chapel, then one of the city's most influential independent churches. But the following year, he began suffering from psychiatric illness that would plague him for the rest of his life. He had to pass off more and more of his work to his assistant and eventually resigned in 1712.
Though German Lutherans had been singing hymns for 100 years, John Calvin had urged his followers to sing only metrical psalms; English Protestants had followed Calvin's lead.
Watts's 1707 publication of Hymns and Spiritual Songs technically wasn't a collection of hymns or metrical psalms, but it was a collection of consequence. In fact, it contained what would become some of the most popular English hymns of all time, such as "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross."
Watts didn't reject metrical psalms; he simply wanted to see them more impassioned. "They ought to be translated in such a manner as we have reason to believe David would have composed them if he had lived in our day," he wrote. Psalms of David Imitated in the Language of the New Testament followed in 1719.
Many of his English colleagues couldn't recognize these translations. How could "Joy to the World" really be Psalm 98? Or "Jesus Shall Reign Where'er the Sun" be Psalm 72>, or "O God Our Help in Ages Past" be Psalm 90?
Watts was unapologetic, arguing that he deliberately omitted several psalms and large parts of others, keeping portions "as might easily and naturally be accommodated to the various occasions of Christian life, or at least might afford us some beautiful allusions to Christian affairs." Furthermore, where the psalmist fought with personal enemies, Watts turned the biblical invective against spiritual adversaries: sin, Satan, and temptation. Finally, he said, "Where the flights of his faith and love are sublime, I have often sunk the expressions within the reach of an ordinary Christian."
Such looseness brought criticism. "Christian congregations have shut out divinely inspired psalms and taken in Watts's flights of fancy," protested one detractor. Others dubbed the new songs "Watts's whims."
But after church splits, pastor firings, and other arguments, Watts's paraphrases won out. "He was the first who taught the Dissenters to write and speak like other men, by showing them that elegance might consist with piety," wrote the famed lexicographer (and Watts's contemporary) Samuel Johnson.
More than a poet, however, Watts was also a scholar of wide reputation, especially in his later years. He wrote nearly 30 theological treatises; essays on psychology, astronomy, and philosophy; three volumes of sermons; the first children's hymnal; and a textbook on logic that served as a standard work on the subject for generations.
But his poetry remains his lasting legacy and earned him acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. Benjamin Franklin published his hymnal, Cotton Mather maintained a long correspondence, and John Wesley acknowledged him as a genius.
Songs he’s known for:
Joy to the World O God Our Help in Ages Past I Sing the Mighty Power of God When I Can Read My Title Clear O God Beyond All Praising
And a lot more can be found here.

PRAISE FOR American Indian Understandings of Cancer: An Anthology of Poetry
In this collection, American Indian poets offer profound insights into their perspectives on cancer, reflecting on its impact across the cancer control continuum. Their voices, submitted through a call from the University of Nebraska Medical Center Youth Enjoy Science (UNMC-YES) program, illuminate the cultural, spiritual, and emotional dimensions of cancer, from etiology to palliative care. Through their evocative verses, the poets confront taboos, convey the complexities of the disease, and celebrate the resilience of their communities. These poems not only honor Indigenous knowledge and storytelling traditions but also serve as a source of inspiration and hope for those impacted by cancer, elevating the voices of American Indian in addressing cancer disparities.
American Indian Understandings of Cancer through Poetry is a powerful and much-needed collection that reflects the living experiences of Native Americans. In it, poetry blends with questioning, grief, hope, resilience, and cultural Knowledges. These are the voices we don’t often hear: the voices of those experiencing cancer; the voices of those who are Indigenous. These are the voices we need to hear, for many reasons including, as Louis G. Whitehead (Anishinaabe/Haudenosaunee) writes, “In sharing these gifts and helping others heal/ We are healed ourselves and find a new place in the circle.”
–Michele Marie Desmarais (Owlmouth, Finishing Line Press)
“This poetry collection opens a window into Indigenous poets’ stories of cancer in the context of their Native American beliefs and world views, with implications across the spectrum of care that are compelling, full of meaning, and implicit knowledge. In richly human terms the poets speak of the journey of life, it’s joys and pains, hope and anguish, heartache and sorrow, and most importantly, their inheritance of familial traditions, rituals and spirituality.”

The contest is intended to provide a platform for some of those children, particularly fatherless girls, to explain the impact of father absence in their lives and their efforts to reach self-actualization and empowerment.
The entries were judged by a team of successful professional leaders and youth, including Ana Acevedo, co- chairperson of Esther Productions Inc.; Patricia Bitondo, Woman’s National Democratic Club; Dr. Misty Freeman, a local psychologist who works with students; Alycea Gayle, a senior at DC International Public Charter School; Ana R. Harvey, a former senior executive in President Barack Obama’s administration; Alicia Henry, a nonprofit and government expert; Shelly Livingston; Leroy Nesbitt, executive director of The Black Student Fund; Winfield Swanson with the Woman’s National Democratic Club; and Addison Switzer, co-chair of Esther Productions Inc. and CEO of BuckWild Media.
Winning essays will be featured on estherproductionsinc.com during the months of January and February. A book of essays will be released later in 2023.

Reposted from @jackshainman About "Fun #1" @surfacemagazine writes: "When the pandemic broke out in 2020, Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York, was the country’s hardest hit medical facility. So enlivening the pediatric unit was top of mind for Diane Brown, the founder of RxART, a nonprofit that breathes life into sterile medical spaces through vibrant installations by big-name artists. [...] At Elmhurst, she enlisted Nina Chanel Abney to spruce up a waiting room with an array of exuberant characters, shapes, and interlocking graphics in contrasting colors. The intervention is a welcome salve for patients anxiously awaiting care—and a symbol of the neighborhood’s status as one of the world’s most diverse communities."

coming out to my mom's smaller family Air Jordan Shoes on vacation
It goes without saying that the Air Jordan 12 was an immensely popular sneaker. And while identical in namesake to one of the Air Jordan 12's most iconic appearances, the pair lacks any noteworthy resemblance to said colorway. For the first time, the women's Nike Zoom Fly 3 houses a slightly softer sockliner with a higher arch. Both versions of the Nike Zoom Fly update feature a transparent lighter upper with a new arch-band lacing system that offers a more adjustable fit. I don't take it for granted that I have my own shoe with the Jordan Brand, and I'm extremely excited about this one, says Westbrook. Not only does it have a balance of great technology and style, but it represents more than just me.
The Nike designer most associated with the Air Jordan line is Tinker Hatfield, who took over from Peter Moore starting with the Jordan 3. Hatfield was the lead designer for the line up until the Jordan 15, creating iconic shoes like the Jordan 5 and Jordan 3. I came out to my best friend at the mall, which is so random - it's the Air Jordans Sale little things. Then I remember coming out to my mom's smaller family on vacation, and then my dad's family at a reunion, which was, like, a hundred people. Launched in 2015, the Jordan Brand Wings Scholars Program grants scholarships and resources to committed high school students to help realize their true potential through education. The Class of 2026 brings 34 students from across the United States to the Jordan Brand family.
Then came the 2016 Finals, which cemented the shoe's place in history as one of the all-time memorable playoff shoes. The shoe reinforced the idea that you don't need all these extra layers to play at a high level, says Petrie. As revealed today, Jordan Brand will also be teaming up with pop-surrealist artist Nina Chanel Abney, whose interpretation of MJ's second signature is something straight out of the uncanny valley let me explain. Then I remember coming out to my mom's smaller family Air Jordan Shoes on vacation, and then my dad's family at a reunion, which was, like, a hundred people.
Various rumors surfaced before the year began reported numerous colorways of the Jordan 1 Low OG arriving around spring. Despite launching in 1985 at the inception of the Air Jordan line, the sneaker has since largely deviated from its original design. The Air Jordan 1 saw its first-ever Flyease entry back in late 2019, opening a brand new opportunity for physically challenged individuals to enjoy one of the Air Jordan most popular lifestyle shoes on the market. Since that first drop, the Jumpman has unleashed a series of colorways with the easy-entry modification, and it's finally arriving in a summer-ready low-top format.
