Pomni, Kinger, Caine & Jax's reaction to their s/o abstracting

warning(s): angst, hurt no comfort, self-blame, "death" of the reader, implied "death"/abstraction of another character (spoiler: Kinger), hopeful outcome note(s): There's nothing incredibly heavy or detailed, just tread carefully if "death" is something you are sensitive to, please. The "hopeful outcome" implies that Caine will at some point in time be able to fix those who've abstracted. A/N: I was feeling particularly cruel and wanted to write some angst, this came to mind and I'll be honest. I made myself a little sad.

Pomni

She never saw it coming, of course, you were acting different lately but she didn’t think it would… lead to you abstracting…

It took forever for things to get some semblance of normalcy, and you being with her was a major part of it.

Sure the relationship in a place like this was a bit, weird, but you cared about her, and she cared about you.

You kept her sane and grounded, so when you were found abstracted? It felt like she failed you.

Ragatha tries to assure her that you aren’t completely gone. Like Kaufmo you’re being kept in the cellar. Caine claims the abstracted are being kept there until he can find a way to “fix” them. (Whether he’s genuine or not though, none of them know.)

It’s all empty promises though, she still feels like she failed you.

Kinger

Not again…

Kinger silently promised himself not again, he was fine being friendly with everyone else that fell into the circus, but he had no intentions of being more than that.

But then you happened, and while he was still in shambles from the time and the insanity spent here, you were there beside him. Like a knight in shining armor.

He hadn’t been around when you abstracted, in fact, he didn’t know you abstracted until there was yelling, and boom an abstraction was causing chaos.

Kinger didn’t know who it was until it was sent off to the cellar, actually, he didn’t know who it was until he realized everyone was present except you.

There’s a high probability that losing someone again, losing you, is what ends up being his own downfall. The other’s (not including Jax) try their all to get him to calm down but it’s not enough, it’s too late…

Caine

Of all the humans to be pulled in he never once got attached.

This was never supposed to happen, he’s incapable of love.

Caine does his best to keep the humans from abstracting, and as many eyes as he has over the place, there are always ones that slip through his grasp.

Of course, he’s not around when you abstract, it takes a bunch of hooting and hollering from everyone before he shows up and oh hey an abstraction.

At an immediate glance, he knows it’s you, abstractions never remotely look like the person they were before but he knows it’s you. You don’t recognize him as you lash out, of course you don’t, you can’t.

He’s unsure about tossing you with the others in the cellar, there’s nowhere else he can truthfully keep you without causing problems. So into the cellar, you go.

Caine visits you though, not for long but he does check in on you. Not that anything changes, but out of all the abstractions down there, he knows exactly which one is you.

You’ll be the first human he fixes as soon as he’s able to.

Jax

His s/o abstracted? Nice joke, though it’s in poor taste. You’re completely fine, he just saw you earlier.

Jax doesn’t believe it until he sees it, and seeing it absolutely ruins him. He’s seen countless others get abstracted and thrown into the cellar, but why, why does it have to be you?

Why couldn’t it have been literally anyone else? He didn’t give a shit about anyone else, the one person he cared for, and you…

Similarly to Pomni, he feels it’s his fault like he could’ve, no should’ve done more. Was he so wrapped up in everything else that he didn’t notice the signs? Why didn’t you talk to him? You didn’t, didn’t do that on purpose, did you?

For the first time ever, the others are genuinely worried about Jax, they all saw/know how much you meant to him. The two of you even spoke fondly about what the two of you would do if you got out of the circus.

For a while Jax becomes even more irrational and unhinged, they try not to hold it against him too badly, even when he oversteps. He’s grieving and none of them know just how long that’ll go on.

Jax isn’t quite the same afterward, but he makes sure that nobody else tries to worm their way into his heart.

If it’s possible, he’ll make sure Caine fixes you the second he’s able to. Even if Caine can fix only one person, it’s going to be you.

Gotta say, massive fan of the work you’ve pumped out, especially for TADC (it came out two weeks or so ago and there’s this much already what?!)

That said, could you write for the gang (separately, I’m sorry l know it’s a lot) who’s s/o resisted abstraction? Like, they were halfway through but turned back through sheer will? *Insert John Wick reference* This has been ping ponging in my head for a while. Thanks for listening! XO

Glitchy pain

I've written for something like this before. And I wasn't sure if you wanted angst or fluff. But since what I wrote before was angst I'm gonna just donna do my ideas on this one. Also to anyone else who feels like requesting don't be afraid to ask for a lot of characters. My max is like 10 and only because Tumblr doesn't like super long posts. I honestly don't think I would have a max if not for that. But really from like 7 pm to 4 am I got a lot of free time and the want to write. So ask to your hearts content. TADC crew x (kind of) abstracted reader

Caine

Caine was floating around when he heard what sounded like a pained and glitchy scream? He quickly floats over to where he heard it from only to find you clutching your head crumpled up into a ball on the floor. He was about to float down and ask you what happened before he noticed the random glitches, black spiky flesh, and randomly colored eye balls all appearing and disappearing in the blink of an eye. So he backed off, a little sad over the fact you were abstracting but life goes on. Until you let out another pained scream, it was almost like the abstraction reacted as the second you screamed it reverted a bit and slowed down. It continues like that for who knows how long. You in a mental and physical battle with abstraction. Caine just staring completely taken back by what he was witnessing. After enough time you vomit a nasty and seemingly living blob of black goo onto the floor and pass out. Caine stares at your motionless body for a few seconds before snapping out of it. He puts the weird goo blob into the cellar and takes you back to your room. He doesn't even know how to react, so he sits there at your bedside waiting for you to wake up. Once you do he is relived to find it's still you, speaking in full sentences and everything. Sure your voice and body have the occasional glitch but overall you're ok. So he leaves you be, mostly. He still needs to study your code for how you did that. But past that and him being a bit more "walking on egg shells" around you, but nothing really changes. And not wanting the others to think your a threat, you and Caine don't tell anyone.

Gangle

Gangle was wandering around looking for you. Her comedy mask broke again and you were the only one who knew how to fix it properly. She could patch it up sure but it never lasted long. Much like Caine she heard you scream out, only difference being she recognized your voice. She quickly changed from casual and aimless stroll to sprint with reason finding you leaned against a wall holding your stomach looking like your about to throw up. She runs up to you and places a hand(?) on each side of your head staring into your eyes. She in a panicked voice asks "Are you ok?! What happened?!" You half shove her away a garbled and messy version of your voice half screaming out that it isn't safe. You quickly regret taking the energy to speak and move as a giant surge of pain jolts up your digital spine forcing you onto your knees. You let out another pained groan/scream as black goo starts oozing out of your mouth. It's only then that Gangle realizes your glitching! She panics and tells you to stay calm while she gets Caine. Gangle sprints off with a mission luckily finding Caine rather quickly. She especially screams at him to help her/follow her. He listens and follows her. When she gets back to where she left you, your passed out. But you aren't glitching anymore. And your not fully abstracted. She carefully walks over to you and sets a gentle hand (ribbon) on your face feeling a whole lot of relief when you half swat at her hand in your sleep. She'll watch you while you sleep making sure you aren't disturbed but when you're awake and she's sure you're ok you are going to be getting a whole lot of cuddles from her. Her comedy mask can wait.

Zooble

Zooble was missing a leg and was hobbling/jumping her way towards your room to ask if you'd seen it. She knocked on your door only to receive no response. She knocks again. Nothing. So she unlocks it with the spare key you gave her. She is stunned by what she sees. Obsessive scribbles covering your walls. Wall paper torn and dirtied. Just leave me alone.) She cautiously walks over to your bed and peaks over it. Your laying there curled up into a ball torn and broken items surrounding you. Y-your abstracting?! B-but... Zooble doesn't even really register the fact. She's in shock from seeing you like this. (I mean I would be too) You let out an ear piercing scream and claw at your own face with enough force to tear the skin, if you weren't digital at least. The glitching gets much much worse for a few seconds before just, stopping. No rhyme or reason that she can see. But you can bet your a&$ that after like 5 seconds pass and you stop showing signs of abstraction she's going to huddle near your spitting out so many questions. Mainly ones like "ARE YOU OK!?!" and "Your still with me right?! RIGHT!?!"

Kinger

Kinger would more likely then not be there when your first started glitching. And that might make him officially lose it. Your the second person in this hell (Queener) who he felt close too. And he outlived you too. Still you aren't abstracted yet. Maybe their's still a chance! So he sprints off screaming out for Caine in a voice that is loud enough to make you go deaf if you were too close to him. When he finds Caine. And he will find Caine he grabs him by the shoulders and sprints towards where he last saw you. He basically throws Caine at your glitching form and yells at him to fix you! In that second you stop glitching Caine did nothing and Kinger will basically tackle you. He'll pick you up and hold you over his head like a spear and sprint towards your rooms. Once there he will set up the comfiest coziest pillow fort possible then get you all comfy inside. Once he's sure your at least mostly safe and he's at least mostly calmed down he'll ask you about what happened. (Despite him being pretty crazy I really do feel like out of everyone he would be the best at communication in a friend or relationship. I mean he's that crazy and yet he still has manners and knowledge about a lot. Tbh he might become my fav. Idk it's possible.)

Ragatha

You were helping out Ragatha with a surprise she was making for everyone to lighten their moods when you said that you feel kind of sick so you were going to call it a night. She nods thanks you for the help you gave then gives you a quick peck to the lips as a send off. Not to much to her surprise you choose to lay in her bed instead of yours. Just something you do when you don't wanna be alone. She shrugs it off and keeps working actually quite grateful that you decided to not leave, not fully at least. She keeps working but stops when she hears some very concerning noises coming from your sleeping body. She turns around to see you tossing and turning an abnormal amount in your sleep, as well as making a lot of noises that sound like when someone is choking on their own blood. Concerned she carefully walks over to check on you only to recoil when she notices the glitching. She trips over her own foot and falls over onto her back. She quickly but clumsily gets up and gets back to you. She shakes you a bit trying to wake you up, but you don't only concerning her more. She yells calls out for Pomni who pokes her head through Ragatha's door a second later. Ragatha nearly screams at her to go get Caine. Pomni startled by Ragatha's tone turns heel and runs off to look for Caine while Ragatha stays with you. She keeps whispering things like "You're gonna be ok" and "Pomni's getting Caine just hang in there". Always keeping a hand on you not caring when it starts glitching out too. When Pomni returns with Caine, Ragatha full on yells at him to help you. He looks at you, then back at her, then with a apologetic tone says their isn't anything he can do as abstraction is one of those things he doesn't have control over. Ragatha breaks into tears. So she's gonna lose you, she was even there. BUT SHE CAN'T F@%#&$* HELP?! She holds onto you like you're her last tether to reality. And you seem to get better. Your at the very least don't seem to be in pain anymore! So she squeezes you, really f&$%@#* hard happier then should be possible that your improving.

Jax

Jax found you in his room voice glitching you huddled over in pain. At first he thought it was a revenge prank and acted accordingly. "Haha, very funny Y/N. Now get out of my room I need to do something." That is until you vomited up a ton of pitch black goo. Then he started taking it more seriously. He quickly crouches down and wraps an arm around you to try and provide some support. He freaks out and quickly pulls his arm back when you vomit up more goo and starts visibly glitching. He panics and quickly looks around his room locking onto a like 3 day old unopened water bottle. He opens it and hands it to you as well as a thing to squeeze that half yells to just hang in there he'll be right back. He sprints around not even knowing who to get. He sees Ragatha and half tackles her. He shouts directly into her face that you need help and that you in his room. He tosses her in the direction of his room then continues sprinting around not long after finding Caine. He grabs Caine ignoring his protests and runs back to his room where he fins Ragatha sitting next to his bed you tucked in. Your not vomiting anything and you aren't glitching. You're just shivering. He hears you mumble his name and literally kicks Ragatha and Caine out quickly getting to your side. After he feels he wont get hurt he quickly gets into bed holding you close "If you ever do that again I'm going to take back my vow to not tease you." He falls asleep with his chin resting on your head.

Pomni

At first when you started glitching Pomni didn't really know it was abstraction. She's never seen someone abstract after all, only seeing the finished product. But when you keep getting worse and worse she realizes that something is wrong. So she leaves you with a quick kiss then runs off to the communication thing Caine made after the whole Kaufmo incident. She calls him and when he picks up she screams into the phone that your glitching out. When Caine appears next to her she runs back over to where you are not even checking if Caine is following. When she gets back to you, you're still in really bad shape. She turns back to Caine and yells at him to help you. When he tells her that he can't she starts hyperventilating, then she sees him pick you up and the cellar hole open?! OH F&#$ NO! She basically punches Caine then clings to you protectively, ready to throw hands with Caine if she has to. Caine tries and pull her off when she starts glitching but she has the grip of a professional rock climber. So Caine has to keep curing her glitches at they appear. Cause in his mind your beyond help but she isn't. Then you start to improve. No more coughing and the glitching has slowed down! Pomni glares at Caine then turns back to you with a scared and tired smile on her face. Once your ok enough to talk you are going to get an earful. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL HER YOU WERE FEELING BAG ENOUGH TO ABSTRACT?!?!?! (Sorry this was so long. I got a little carried away. And surprisingly I'm pretty proud of this one. I hope you enjoyed it!)

can we get soft angst hcs of caine comforting a reader who entered the circus but found solace in escaping their old life?

Dang it didn't take long for the requests to come in haha, but yessss I'm eager to write for TADC now!! (just note my hcs/interpretations of the characters will change as more episodes come out).

.......

When you first arrived to the circus not long after Pomni, Caine was worried that you were going to freak out over trying to find an exit (that definitely does NOT exist).

So he just cuts to the chase and states you're stuck here forever. There's no exit doors or hidden portals or secret keys, so you can just give up on returning to your old life altogether.

But you don't look scared in the slightest.

Confused? Yes. Certainly.

However once you've taken in all this information, you just stand there with a smile and a relaxed posture--a display that concerns Caine a lot.

"They seem happy, boss.." Bubble whispers. "Is that a good sign?"

"Not sure. Never seen anybody react this way. Maybe they're just holding it all in and pretending to be fine when they're really no--WOAH, stop the presses!!!" His eyes bulge out of his head/mouth(?) as he sees the tears running down your cheeks. "You're crying more than Gangle does on Tuesday! Is it true that you were masking your emotions????"

"..huh? What..oh no!" You laugh and wipe away the tears, before explaining to the ringmaster that you were indeed very happy.

You spoke of how sad and dull your life was outside of this game.

It was your escape, a comfort, and you've been a huge supporter of its development over the years.

Even in your sleep, you never stopped thinking about it--you always had dreams of being in this very circus, having loads of fun with the other characters and joining their wacky adventures.

So to learn that (somehow) you became a permanent part of the game is literally a dream come true!

Of course, you weren't expecting the presence of the Abstracted and Pomni's constant freakouts, but you couldn't be happier.

Caine was surprised that you remembered so much of your old life (whereas poor Pomni couldn't even recall her own name).

But he sees you're content with starting a new life here in the Digital Circus and grins, eager to plan some exciting fun and games for you to enjoy.

He will, however, make a point to pair you with Pomni so you could help her calm down and show her that being in this virtual world wasn't so bad.

It's probably not the best idea, though, as nothing you say comforts her.

"I mean, your old life could've been really bad and-"

"But what if it was good? What if I had tons of friends and a great family and a successful job and.....oh god..what if I had PETS?!!!" She wails. "Who's gonna take care of them?!!!"

Had she remembered at least one little bad detail from her old life....persuasion would come a lot easier.

But Caine encourages you to keep trying anyways.

The reader who has been abstracted but somehow recovered from it and everyone's reaction to the reader returning from it.

This really peaked my interst so I knew I just had to write it!

Pain, fear, and anger were all you could feel when you were abstracted, in your newly twisted and corrupted mind the only two things you were able to do seem to be attacking and running

You were chasing your “prey” down the hall and into the main room when another sharp pain went through your body as you let out a whine and fell to the ground

You let out more small whines as your body once again changed this time though it was your original form

Caine

His reaction when you first transformed back was pretty calm claiming it was “all part of my plan” though in truth he was the most confused

After a bit he came to the conclusion that you were able to transform back by something specific in the code of your body that others didn’t have

So expect him popping up randomly to try and take samples, which happens at least once per day

After he got what he thought could be used to turn the other abstracted back to normal he tried to use it… it didn’t work for long and he had a large mess to clean afterwards

After that he went back to normal though would still sometimes try to take samples, became a fun pastime for him

Kinger

You thought he was on edge before? Well now he’s even more on edge

At first he tries to avoid you, he never seen anyone returned back from being abstracted how was he supposed to know you wouldn’t transform back

It took a few months for him to few comfortable standing next to you, let alone going on adventures with you

If you two were dating before then expect the complete opposite

After losing Queenie when she abstracted he didn’t know what to do, even more so when you returned back to normal

Very clingy not wanting to risk losing his lover again

Pomni

She didn’t know what to think at first, you had been a huge help and comforted her when she first came here

She also thought you were by far the most sane, she was proven wrong

It just so happened that she was one of the few going to check in on you when they had found your abstracted self, not very good luck for her

You were the first person she actually knew who had gotten abstracted before she could run away without a thought of who it was before, but she knew you, this was someone she cared about

When you returned to normal she didn’t know what to do then, she was also hesitant about being around you not out of fear though but because she just couldn’t believe it was true

She was very quick to warm up again though do expect her to ask if you're okay a lot 

If you two were dating before then she blames herself for you abstracting even if it wasn’t the case

As well with asking you if your okay expect her to give you small gifts 

Gangle

One of the others who had found you, had to be pulled away or else she would have probably stayed standing there crying

She couldn’t do much as many thoughts were going through her mind all coming out in sobs

When you returned to normal she was still sobbing but was also the first one to make sure you were okay

She decides to put up the whole you being abstracted to her imagination, it would be more believable than you abstracting and then just returning back to normal

I picture that even if you two didn’t have the best relationship she would have nightmares about your abstraction

If you two were dating then be prepared for her not sleeping at all since she doesn't need it and everytime she does she get nightmares she takes it out of her schedule 

expect a lot more cuddles then before, she wants to be as close together as she can with you afterwards

Jax

He was the last of the group who found you, he didn’t believe it, he couldn’t

As he ran away pulling Gangle with him he tried to tell himself that this wasn’t real, the abstracted being wasn’t you

When you returned to normal he was hesitant to tease you or prank you

He still did of course but it was a lot less often then before and with all the others

Will often go into your room if you’re in there or not, mainly to make sure you’re okay

If you two were in a relationship he becomes a lot more protective of you

Like a lot more protective, you be lucky if he wasn’t right by your side

Ragatha

When she had heard you were abstracted she couldn’t believe it, she ran to where you were seeing you right before you went back to normal

She froze her mind racing as she felt numb, until Gangle brought her back when asking you if your okay

Oh this little fella loves to spoil you. It's his main way to show his love.

Come on, he's almost god in this entire world, you could ask for anything and in a snap of fingers it's already in your front. And your big, silly smile when he bring your treats always get Caine entertained.

Can't really imagine Caine being a guy who's attached to phisic contact, he doesn't hate it, nor does he cares if you plan to give him snuggles, hugs and etcetera, but it's also not the first thing he thinks of doing to you. But of course, some times or others he grabs in your waist.

Caine always try to make his dates woth you perfect (at least in his point of view of perfect). Chic restaurant with classical music playing in your ears, and food from chefs who don't exist but are still professionals! If you have a specific palate, Caine doesn't mind giving you the foods you really like, whether they're from chic restaurants or not.

Caine finds you the most adorable flesh being(that it's not him) he ever had the luck to lay his eyes on, no matter the way your shape looks like. You could be doing a simple activity like playing with a ball, throwing it repeatedly at the wall, and the digital being will stare at you with complete pleasure.

Caine obviously shows great favoritism towards you out of all the characters, which may accidentally lead to some other characters being jealous or resentful of you for having the most comfortable bed among the others and always receiving gifts. In the end, if someone dares to lay a finger in you or your stuff, Caine will not be afraid to interrupt.

Speaking of, yeah!! Caine is kinda protective about you, even though he is aware that you don't get hungry, hurt, sick or sleepy, this buddy still enjoys the feeling of taking care of you.

Kisses are... A bit weird. Ahm... Reader, how do you feel about being kissed by a bunch of giant teeth? Of course you don't mind that's why you requested this.

Caine uses a bunches of nicknames for you! "Dear", "Beloved", "Love", "Sweetie", "Sweetheart", "Darling" and many others! But "Sunshine" is his favorite.

The Amazing Digital Circus 

Caine x Programmed Villain reader

Part 1

(I kinda of based (y/n) on an old way I used to draw myself)

(Also readers gender not really mentioned but it's kinda more on the boy side. Yay gay)

The game was getting a new update, Caine was curious and just a bit excited, he got everyone up just a bit earlier than they normally do.

Pomni and Ragatha agreed and went, with Kinger and Gangle slowly behind and Zooble and Jax had to be dragged there by Caine. They went outside the tent to see part of the grounds be nothing but 0's and 1's all moving around with a bunch of shapes being thrown around with it.

"Wait, what's going on?" Zooble said sounding curious but still bored.

"I'm glad you asked Zooble! The Amazing Digital Circus is getting an update!" Caine announced proudly.

"It's probably going to be even worse than what we've already got here," Jax mumbled right before he got hit in the head by an object that Caine definitely didn't make and throw at him.

"I hope it's something to get out of here," Pomni said sadly, and Caine ignored that comment. He floated there waiting, watching the update turn into something. They all watched and then got really disappointed when it turned into a cave, it didn't even look nice, it was gloomy, dark and spikey.

"Come on everyone, let's go check it out!" Caine said grabbing his cane and gesturing to the new feature in the game.

"Ugh, what?!" Zooble groaned as Jax snickered.

Pomni looked frightened but Ragatha reassured her as they all walked to the cave, well, except Caine he floated. As they all walked in they expected to see a dingy damp cave inside.

"Oh look, noth........ing," Jax started to say with a smug face until he saw what was in the cave. There was dark blue carpet and purple patterned diamond wallpaper, there was a chandelier on the ceiling and lots of expensive-looking furniture, and few potted plants. It was way bigger on the inside, this made Pomni nearly have another mental breakdown. But what shocked them the most they heard a voice, they could hear it singing, and they could hear it get louder and louder. They all started to realise that, that meant a new character came with the new update, they listened carefully.

"I'm beggin', beggin' you~" They all listened and heard the footsteps getting closer. Caine watched with bated breath, knowing that the person who walks through that door was going to be someone who was part of this game like him who he didn't make and wouldn't abstract.

"So put your loving hand out Darlin'~" they saw this person walk through the door. They had no nose, a dark blue suit on, round cartoonish purple shoes, and cartoon gloves but instead of being round they were sharp and the person had a wide grin with a full set of sharp teeth, with very scruffy spikey hair. They had their eyes shut and were sorting out their purple bow tie, acting like they had just gotten dressed. They opened their eyes they were hot pink and orange patterned rings.

"Ridin' high, when I was-" they stopped, looking at everyone who was now in their house. Suddenly a bit of shadowing formed around their eyes, and their smile got wider if that was even possible, it kinda looked like they got more teeth the more they smiled. They put both their hands behind their back and pulled out two guns and pointed them directly at the group, who were startled at this point. (This is you, and I'm changing they to you now) They wondered where you got the guns from and were worried about what you were planning on doing with them, well, except for Caine he knew where they came from but he was more worried about their existence, surely they weren't family friendly. Your pupils shrunk.

"HAHAhahAhahHAHhahAHhaAa" you balefully cackled, everyone exited the cave, a few trips on the way, as bullets flew everywhere. Everyone was outside the cave,

"What the £%$& was that!?" Zooble shouted

"Watch your language," Caine answered

"%$£& you," they said flipping him off and slowly walking back to the tent.

Everyone jumped as they heard more laughing coming from the cave.

A stretched leg came out of the cave and then the rest of the body came with, instead of having guns you now had a massive mallet and a bomb, that lit when you looked at it, and you launched it in the air.

"Hey freakface, you missed" Jax said, but then the bomb came back down and you got in position and then hit the bomb with your mallet.

It flew across the sky, everyone watched including the sun and the moon, as it headed towards Zooble, they turned around right on cue.

"Oh $%-" and then the bomb exploded, not too much harm was done, they were still alive at least.

As soon as everyone saw this they started to panic and ran in different directions. A few more bombs were thrown and everyone was screaming.

Caine didn't know what to do he didn't expect the new update to turn out like this, then he looked down and his pupils shrunk.

Everyone stopped running around when they realised the bombs had stopped, they also heard yelling and looked back at the cave. They saw Caine being dragged by stretched arms leading into the darkness of the cave.

"Everyone! Your next adventure is....!" He gripped the floor to try and finish his sentence.

"To rescue me!" and then he vanished.

this man would not be shy about giving you affection, he would kiss you as soon as he felt it was right and you were giving him the cues and all that. he understands that teeth arent ideal for kissing so similar to kinger (who i wrote first for this post) he gently presses himself into your mouth. weird feeling but hes careful not to bite you or get too harsh, i give him a 6/10

POMNI:

very short you might have to kneel or pick her up so she can reach you if you're taller than her.. very timid and awkward, quick peck on the lips. pomni does not know what she is doing!! who let her cook! 7/10 though, pomni as a whole is soft, its kind of like kissing a marshmallow... actually she kind of tastes like one too, weird... give her some time and she'll be more confident!

RAGATHA:

soft but not as soft as pomni, instead of kissing a marshmallow its like kissing one of your dolls... i think it depends on what kind of material ragatha would be made out of... assuming the digital world gives her textures and give and all that.. hmm...her mouth is odd, i personally hc that its just. 2D. like pomni has a proper mouth, you can see the depth of it. but ragathas mouth is like, stop motion... 7/10 simply because she probably holds you close and her hugs are amazing so it just adds to the experience

JAX:

similar to caine, i think! we never see jax actually.. open his mouth, its just teeth. personally i think thats just how his mouth is, he cant open his teeth. so... teeth kisses... though caine can actually open his mouth, jax just has. the wall of teeth... odd... kiss the teeth wall i promise he brushes his teeth/j i give him a 6/10, i think its something you have to get used to

KINGER:

i said it a few times but kinger would need to hype himself up before kissing you for the first time. or alternatively, if a tense moment just happened where say.. one of you guys almost got hurt (or as hurt as you can get in the digital world,) he would probably kiss you me thinks... no mouth how will he give kiss kiss :(? gently presses where his mouth would be to yours. hard and cold, 5/10 but he still tries to be gentle so its not like hes clacking himself against your teeth

ZOOBLE:

similar to kinger but also not because of how zoobles head is shaped... maybe you guys can assume the space between their eyes is where their mouth would hypothetically be. its like putting your mouth against those plastic foods.. cold, their head feels hollow like some of the plastic food toys.. not noticeable unless you press hard against them.. 4.5/10

GANGLE:

you see this one i can work with since i have already written characters with masks getting kisses! just kiss where her mouth is and you're golden! sure the mask is also her face and shes like ragatha in regard to the 2d mouth thing... but hey its better than zooble, i think! similar scoring, i think, 7/10 also i think she would put her hands on your cheeks while you two kiss

Ever since the . . accident, as Jax likes to call it, your room’s been a bit under reconstruction.

Caine didn’t know how to just magically poof away the water that was soaking into your carpet, and flooding your entire living quarter, so he shrugged, and let you decide what to do.

How the actual fuck did Jax manage to flood your room? You had no idea. But, for that, he was going to pay.

With a still slightly damp pillow in hand, you stare up at the face on the door, and don’t bother to knock. Barging right into Jax’s bedroom, you shut the door behind you and march your way to his bed. He actually jumped from the sudden action, and glared over at you.

“Hey!” His shout was a little out of character for him, but he reserved himself well, after. “Ever heard of knocking?” His dull mouth drops, eyelids drooping.

You ignore him, and walk straight for his bed. Tossing the pillow on it, you situate yourself to get comfortable, and pull back the single blanket on top of it.

“What are you doing?” He asks, brows slightly furrowing now.

“I’m taking your bed. Since you decided to ruin mine.” You reply simply, completely looking away from him. You busy yourself with taking off your slippers.

Jax stands, starting to grow some minor amusement now. “Oh, I get it. Seeing how long until I get mad, right?”

You ignore him again, and this time, slip into his bed. His eyes widen, darting all over your figure. You were literally laying in his bed, unphased.

“Goodnight.” You smile to yourself, and lay your head down to the pillow.

“No, get out.” He frowns, walking over to the side of the bed.

The two of you had this sort of rivalry— See who could last the longest without freaking out. You were destined to win this one, though. He didn’t like to be touched much, so let’s see how he likes you sleeping in his bed.

“Y/N,” Jax huffs down at you. His arm was resting on his hip, just thinking. You only smile back up at him, blinking once.

“Alright. I was getting tired anyway.” His little smirk makes you curious until you realize he was getting into bed next to you.

You weren’t going to break. You couldn’t. It was just a ploy to make you get uncomfortable and leave. That wasn’t gonna happen.

He happily sighs out, loudly, and tucks himself up and under the shared blanket. “I’ll try not to kick you in my sleep.” His one eye peeks over at you.

You shrug, turning on your side to face him. “And I’ll try not to push you off the bed. I’m a bed hogger.” Lips curl to a small smirk.

“What happens when you get cold?” His smirk broadened, and suddenly, with one tight pull, he yanked the blanket off of you. The chill of the air hits your skin, and you huff. Jax covered himself up with the fuzzy blanket instead, giving off another selfish, yet, charismatic smile.

You glare, looking at him. He laid there, smug, eyes closed and all tucked up. Cute little fucker.

You scoot closer to him, purposely getting into his personal space. You catch him glancing at you curiously when your body grazed his. “Then I guess I’ll just have to use your body heat.”

He frowns, sitting up slightly. “Good thing I’m made of ice.”

“You’re not gonna kick me out. This is payback for destroying my room.” Your eyes narrow onto him. With a sly hand, you grab the corner of the blanket, and tug it back. Now, the two of you were tugging and pulling over a blanket like fighting children.

“C’monnn, it was just a joke.” He rolls his eyes, letting go of the blanket. You gather it up in your hands, and frown.

“Dude, half of my stuff is literally ruined from water damage!” You weren’t trying to show off your anger, but man, it was hard not to still.

He turned on his side, facing away from you with a weakened smile. “It’s fine.”

“No, Jax, it’s not fine.” You frown, whipping the bunched up blanket back at him.

He sits up, giving you a glare. “You need to learn how to lighten up, cupcake.” His voice is calm, careless. The usual asshole tone he uses.

“Maybe if you said sorry for once, I could.”

Oof, there was some audible emotion in your voice that you wished you could get rid of. Okay, so, maybe it hurt allot more than you thought it did, because it was all stuff you’ve collected over time in the digital world, that made your life feel like it was a little bit more normal again. And Caine wouldn’t fix it, because you shouldn’t have even stolen it from here in the first place.

“Why would I do that?” He asked, frown lopsided.

It was actually annoying how little emotion his voice held.

“Because if you cared about me, you would.”

Uh oh. Your eyes start to tear up, and quickly, your turn your back to him. It was just really hard living in the digital world, sometimes. Everybody here would get their moments of weakness, but when you had someone constantly picking on you in such a . . confusing way, it was easy to let out the internal struggles.

He groans out lightly to himself. Your nose snivels, and you bury your face away from his view. That’s the last thing you needed him to see.

The blanket is tossed gently over you and your side of the bed. With knitted brows, you sniffle, staring at the wall in front of you to avoid looking to him.

Jax pats your shoulder, before dipping his head down with a sort of embarrassment.

“Take it easy, doll.”

With a curl of your lips, you smile weakly to yourself, and cozy up into the warmth of the blanket.

If it’s not too much trouble, what about Caine or Jax (whoever you prefer!) with an s/o who is just. Tiny. Like, can-take-a-nap-inside-Jax’s-overalls-pocket small - like not even a foot tall!

Maybe they can change their size at will, maybe they’re just eternally itty bitty, your choice!

Caine

You’re so small that while Caine finds it adorable, it is also quite the pain when it comes to including you in activities, or just doing anything with him overall.

In the beginning, he’d offered to carry you when he was present, but because it’s Caine it’s not a very fun method of transportation. His whole head kinda makes sitting on it or his shoulders difficult or impossible. And being carried around like a doll isn’t very fun or comfortable—especially with Caine being the type who talks with his hands.

Jax once called you a mouse as an insult and Caine found the name to be cute and fitting—unaware that it was an insult—and took to calling you his little mouse.

It takes awhile but Caine offers to try making you bigger—though the two of you find out later on it’s not permanent. The upside is you can switch between little and big at the price of exhaustion.

He’s in utter awe the first time he gets to fully take you in, all the hard-to-make details finally pop, and wow you are cuter than he thought initially.

Caine likes to make it a fun little game for himself to play, which is essentially just hide and seek except you aren’t intentionally hiding. You aren’t even aware he’s really playing the one-sided game, he just likes to pop in randomly and see if he can find you. You are a slippery little thing able to bypass many of his all-seeing eyes.

When it comes to dates he prefers them with bigger you, not that he dislikes your smaller form but he realizes how impractical it would be to take you out and exhaust you on such a tiny walk when there’s so much more ground to cover. Or risk losing you—which he’s totally never done before by the way…

Being big means he can hold your hand, lead you around, and sit with you, he feels like you are equal this way, when you are tiny he feels like the bad guy with control over everything—even if it technically is.

Just for funsies, Caine has shrunk himself down to your side when it’s just the two of you, it’s a very trippy experience he’ll say that much. Everything really is massive holy heck.

Jax

Jax has without a doubt nearly stepped on you or kicked you too many times to count that he’s taken to shoving you in the pocket of his overalls for safekeeping.

Mind you it wasn’t intentional, you’re just so damn tiny and he’s definitely far from being the shortest in the circus. If anything he does feel genuinely bad, not only did you get the shit hand of being the size of a Barbie doll, but he’s not even the only person who’s nearly trampled you.

You’re basically a glorified purse dog in a sense, it’s easiest when he carries you around and does all the hard work and walking. You are his little purse dog s/o and he’s your glorified taxi driver, the two of you definitely joke about it though so there are no hard feelings.

Jax has found you more than once taking a cat nap when he checks inside his pocket, you’ve even got a little pillow and blanket—where the hell did you get those?

“I feel more like an apartment than a boyfriend.”

“Oo, free rent, great view, and a boyfriend. What a steal.”

You’ve experimented sitting on his shoulders and head before, Jax vetoed your rights to his head after you’d clung to his ear screaming—though to be fair there’s not much to hold on with him moving around. And after nearly wearing you like a necklace as you choked him out, the two of you settled that the pocket was best.

He just moves around too much sometimes for anything but the pocket to be safe, though when it’s just the two of you and things are chill he’ll give you necklace and earring rights again. (something he started calling you with the way you’d cling to him.)

Regardless of the appearance you’ve taken, Jax calls you a doll because well, you’re literally the size of one it’s self-explanatory. He even stopped calling Ragatha “doll face” to avoid any confusion when referring to you.

The whole permanent tiny thing gets on his nerves but he tries not to mention it, it sucks not being able to do stuff normally with you—or hold your hand or you—well in a manner that’s not his pocket. You get the gist.
