as ive announced before…. i have officially finished ALTA (should I watch legend of korra???)

so, my brain basically says that the breathing styles in KNY should be combined with bending because the corps deserves to be overpowered too.

water breathing is beyond cracked now… like healing, water manipulation, ice manipulation, fucking BLOOD BENDING. urokodaki and giyuu just got 10x more scary…. imagine dead calm.. oh god praying for rui at this point. giyuu is more than worthy of being a hashira with his talented he’ll be with THIS much power.

also gyomei….. earth bending…. i’m getting all excited thinking about it. it’s toph on drugs, LETS GOO!! and metal bending.. and seismic sense, yummy (and lava bending if i’m correct?? i’m pretty sure it’s in LOK tho)

i’m sorry but sanemi is literally the complete OPPOSITE of the morals and values of air bending 😭😭 that just makes it better. his ass is NOT a monk. but he’d be so cool….

kyojuro… fire bending…. TASTY‼️ he’s literally the TRUE meaning of fire bending idc. (that episode was so cool). i believe he would survive the battle with akaza, maybe im pushing it a bit (HE DID NOT DESERVE DEATH)

but for the other breathing styles, not entirely sure how i’d work (except thunder breathing, it’d probably be now considered a branch of fire breathing now.) like for serpent breathing, not sure how’d it be created but maybe yall got an idea.

i just remembered that water bending is stronger at night… giyuu is now one scary mf omg. i feel like he’d be able to do blood bending, but not really use it. he’d find it a bit too much for his taste.

i think the demon would stay relatively the same when it comes to power, maybe a bit stronger but only by a little bit. they already cheating by regeneration and immortality ong

#theyre just soooo tiny!!! its hardly even fair #i wish i was a tiny bird hopping along a branch that would otherwise bend gently to hold a squirrel #i want to find my birdfeeder or perhaps get a birdbath or something someday #not many people have any bird feeders in this neighborhood so i look forward to being popular with the fluffy friends

#craig of the creek #cotc #jackie #cotc jackie #art #I have wanted to redraw this particular pose for /so/ long and finally got around to starting it last week #The shading is a little quick but also I have very little practice in soft shading and it was...so dificult...to focus on this piece #But I wanted to at least give it a try and it's...not terrible? It's definitely rough but there's parts of it that feel kinda nice~#(Also drawing his hair was a process. I couldn't find a great real-life reference that felt right enough so I had to kinda mostly rely on #screenshots to get the feel of his hair right (there were a number of references that were kinda close but never got as visually big as #Jackie's hair so it was a bit of mix 'n' match). That said.. the end version actually feels like it's bending right so time well-spent~)#I might have to do a hard-light/cel-shading version later but it's good to try and branch out sometimes~#Also have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy Jackie? He's a pretty chill dude who's also got that same competitive spirit the king's #champions all have and him being the only one to jump into the water was both so funny and fun to watch~#(And media does /not/ have enough deaf characters of any hearing level so I'll never get over the good feeling when I learnt Jackie was #not only deaf but we got to see more than one episode of him? And more than one after we learn this is the case? It's nice~)

I had to take a half day off because the words were starting to lose meaning to me #if you think there are less commas than there should be that is because there was no comma in the original sentence so i did the same #a lot of the words n stuff that feel like they're missing or repeating are because i'm following the style of the original #i'm not taking many artistic freedoms as a translator. these guys are leaning/bending/tilting so much.#also idk if you guys have papaya trees but if you don't: the branches are hollow so as kids we use them to blow soap bubbles #anyways.#OBSESSED with how this guy thinks. an object comes alive if it is used. it is only truly an object if it is handled. and love is the same.#is it an unhealthy way to think. yes a little. but it makes sense in a way. we as humans crave the mortifying ordeal of being known #and then all the morbid imagery. and then he leaves with the dagger. what is a dagger for if not buried in a chest.#very very words. rent free in my head.#i love this author's style of suspense. there's no big reveal at the end‚ only a tense uncertainty #either you get it or you are stuck there with the character

a real random & separate place from where my last reply was ... I like to think that Ari's adventurous little spirit means that she loves to climb UP trees; she certainly has the courage to try & get as high as she can ( which might be difficult when considering her dyspraxia [🌷] but definitely not impossible, I don't think ? 🤔 ), sometimes even lucky enough to reach the tippy tops ! but then ... this courage is countered with a fear of climbing down 👀 maybe it's harder for her to find her way down than it is to move up ?

so, with all things considered, I guess this means that Ari spends a lot of time getting stuck in trees ... 😭
