Mental image where Batman’s cape gets snatched up by something and he doesn’t notice but nine year old Tim does. Finders keepers rule makes it his now and it’s his version of Jason’s “robin gave him magic” line, in a more “this cape makes me one with the shadows and nothing can hurt me as long as I wear it” way. Tim having it with him as he goes out bird bat watching. Tim hanging it in his window as a makeshift black curtain. Tim bundling himself in it while he slouches over his computer and edits his photos. Tim casually dropping in character and pretending to be batman around his house.

The show never explains who Clockwork is and why he was tasked (or took up the mantle) of time guardianship. There's a part of me that want this to be explained because how does this work in a society with ghosts? But another part of me doesn't, not just to preserve the mystery that is this figure, but because the explanation could simply be Occam's Razor: he's a ghost.

Maybe he became a time guardian with all its powers simply because he obsessed over it - as is wont a ghost - long enough to simply just be. Clockwork has often edged on the side of "good" in the moral alignment scale (because it's an all-age cartoon, blah blah), but I appreciated that his altruism simply happened to gel with time stream stabilization. It's a convenient answer that keeps him as a benevolent figure, but also hands off from Danny's adventures. And I'm glad the comic still kept that specific worldbuilding.

Any who, Dark Danny breaking the time staff and then ABSORBING HIMSELF WITH CLOCKWORK is a motherfucking KING SHIT move.

yknow, for the longest time i thought the mayerling dress was the same as Elisabeths mourning gown in the scene after and it was like weird freudian foreshadowing or something, i think it took me watching the mayerling walzer like 5 times until i realized. mourning gowns dont usually show that much cleavage

Very vivid image of Giilvas hiding people behind his cape bc he is taller then All of them . Shadowheart has a migraine yet they still have a ways to go from camp ? He walks with her and shields her from the sun . Astarion needs a moment of privacy and just cannot handle the idea of being looked at right now as they run for provisions ? Giilvas lets him find a corner then holds up the cape as the wall from the world . Karlach needs to check her engine ASAP but she knows it would just make everyone uncomfortable to see her do that even if she literally has to ? He reminds her again that it doesn’t freak him out and holds up the cape , making sure she can figure everything out in time

Even better when it’ s someone who knows Misty step / Invisibility . He gets enemies attentions , gestures to Lae’zel , or Wyll, or Gale, then makes a showy gesture of raising his cape in front of them , shaking it so the eye never leaves it , then dropping it with an exaggerated face of shock and revealing them as gone . Everyone was so focused they didn’ t see where they could have misty stepped to or couldn’ t track where they ran to while under invisibility

Every group needs a man that is a brick wall with an extra long and flowy cape to use like a privacy wall

Mmm what I really wanted was to draw some pra2r for the Zimtober multiverse prompt today, but I only managed to draw Red and Purp resting against each other before I totally lost steam. Working on a personal project with a deadline on November 1st and I'm really crunching to manage that, so I guess I'm just feeling a little bit burnt out. But I'm just really thinkin abt my silly crakship au right now so hopefully in the future I can bring myself to draw them ;w;
