But yeah, Kae's written himself to be a trans guy! It took me a while to start writing it into the story, but he is trans! So happy Pride Month, again!

I'm gonna have to rework some things in Volume 1 to better reflect his gender identity, and add some stuff into the story to reflect it, too. All things considered, I'm pretty excited to see where this development in Kae's character will take the story!

Also, even before Kae "told" me that he's a trans man, I'd inadvertently designed him to become a subject of gender envy for me. So I've been questioning my gender identity again, even more so now that Kae's "told" me that he's a trans guy, lol! Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, though!

I felt like drawing something that would encapsulate my mood for the entire month of May. Which has been seriously impacted by the fact that my right rotator cuff refuses to stop being inflamed for no good reason.

Also, I've been forgetting to call the local rheumatologist to see if I can get evaluated for hEDS sooner than eight months out. Or at least, get some kind of a diagnosis, because my hypermobility is probably part of the reason why my right rotator cuff refuses to heal and stay healed.

I'll probably be adding more characters from Kae's story to this silly little drawing. And make all of them have an existential crisis! X'D

It is 11:30pm local time

And I have just spent the past 4-5 hours rewriting an entire scene-and-a-half in The Fenrathae Saga Volume 1.

I’ve also been spending the past few days rewriting Volume 1 so that Kae, Ellira and Lerosenn are each 22 because them going through all the intense violence that happens in Volume 1 at age 19, especially Kae’s trauma from being killed and resurrected multiple times, just didn’t sit right with me

What do I have to show for 4-5 hours of rewriting tonight?

Well... The answer may surprise you...

I now have a very flirtatious and frankly kinda creepy goth Penumbrancer girlfriend who is in her early thirties and wants to steal Kae and make him her boyfriend instead of Ellira’s. And who I’ve already killed off a few chapters later.

Hopefully she won’t write herself to become a more important side character, because I am Not Equipped to rewrite the scene she’s killed off in so that she somehow survives!

P.S., Please don’t ask me how it happened. I sincerely don’t know how it came to be! All I wanted was for her to be an edgy goth Penumbrancer who is very blunt and kinda cruel to every protagonist, I SWEAR!!

This took me about 7-8 hours, spread out over the course of about 3-4 days to complete. And it was WORTH IT!!

I am super proud of how the backgrounds came out! I made it so that the lighting of the scene was coming from some glowing lichen/moss/slimy stuff on that one stalactite behind Taizaros! This is all meant to be in a massive cavern that’s located right beneath a cursed inland sea in an asteroid impact crater, and said inland sea is called the Lake of Silence!

Lore infodump beneath the break!

It’s called the Lake of Silence because there appears to be no life beneath the pitch black surface of the Lake, aside from the tentacled “monsters” that grab those who wander too close to its shores. Those tentacled “monsters” (all of them are actually Taizaros, himself, swimming around in the Lake) then drag their victims deep beneath the surface of the Lake, never to be seen again. The Alliance of Venrias is very much aware of the fact that those “monsters” are actually one Fallen Deity, because of the fact that their Revered Soul Tracking Devices always pick up on the presence of Taizaros’s Soul within the Lake. So they would definitely notice if the signature of Taizaros’s soul were to disappear for some reason!

The Lake of Silence being within the crater of an asteroid impact has a lot to do with how Taizaros arrived on Leytovar after having been exiled from Daituria and the entirety of the spiritual plane of existence.

Knowing how this hellsite is.... I'm probably making a bit of a mistake posting this image here...

But the big monster with the mane of tentacles is Taizaros, the Disgraced Sacred Keeper of Daituria's Darkness and Fallen God of the Darkened Water. And boy, is the lore of the Fallen Deities of Fenrathae cryptic!!

So Taizaros actually met Delros when he was a fledgling Balance Keeper. And seeing that Delros has a 7,000-year-long lifespan, Taizaros wanted to kill Delros and devour his heart while channeling an Elemental Poison spell into his teeth to absorb Delros's potential lifespan so that he could extend his own.

And minor spoilers for all four books in The Fenrathae Saga, the Second Keepers' Trial in all four books involves each group of Revered Vessels having to kill the Fallen Deity that exists on their respective planet. So because Book 1 takes place on Leytovar, and Taizaros was sent to Leytovar after being stripped of his immortality and Universal magic, Kae, Ellira and Lerosenn have to kill Taizaros!

And yes, Taizaros does recognize the presence of Delros's soul within Kae. And Delros took a thousand years off of his lifespan by stabbing him in the head to make him go dormant for a thousand years. So Taizaros has a massive vendetta against Delros.

Hence why he's grabbed Kae, and why Kae is clearly panicking. But I've seen enough hentai to know where-

Okay, no. I can assure you that Kae goes through nothing of that kind of thing in Book 1! He does develop a deep fear of tentacles and any creatures that have them, due to certain events here and later on in Book 1....

I’m Esora Ogramira, a writer and artist who is working on a series of YA high-urban fantasy-adventure novels called The Fenrathae Saga! I’m currently working on Book 1, of which the working title is Of Teal Eyes and Orange Lightning!

I’m autistic, I have inattentive ADHD, generalized anxiety, and I also have chronic depression. I try to post my art, animations and worldbuilding for The Fenrathae Saga here, but more often than not, I find myself reblogging things because I have trouble coping with my executive dysfunction.

Update on the status of The Fenrathae Saga! And Other Stuffses!

TL;DR: I'm putting The Fenrathae Saga on mostly-hiatus due to burnout relating to it, and am gonna start working full-blast on another project of mine that involves my former RWBY OCs. I'm also gonna make a poll to see if anyone within my tiny but sweet following wants to watch me fail miserably at playing survival mode in Minecraft with cheats and certain gamerules enabled!

Sooooooo, I've realized that I'm very burned out with writing for The Fenrathae Saga. As in, I've been finding significantly more enjoyment in writing in my other projects and playing Minecraft than working on anything relating to The Fenrathae Saga and Volume 1, lately. I've also been thinking about my other projects much more often than The Fenrathae Saga, itself.

So I've decided to put The Fenrathae Saga on the back burner for the time being, aka, put it on a mostly-hiatus! For the most part, I won't be working on it as often as I have for the past 2 years, but I'll probably still chip away at the comic script every now and then. So no, the webcomic is not cancelled at all! This just means that the webcomic will come out a lot later than I anticipated.

The reason I'm doing this is because I know that if I force myself to work on something that I don't want to work on at the moment, then that something won't be done very well. I don't want The Fenrathae Saga to not be done to the best of my abilities, and I especially don't want that for the webcomic. Plus, I've been working on this iteration of The Fenrathae Saga nonstop since March of 2021. I've discovered that my way of working is to work on something full-blast for a few years, then pick up something else that I'd like to work on, set the first thing on the back burner, and then work on that something else full-blast for a few years. I definitely don't plan on abandoning The Fenrathae Saga anytime soon, another project that I've been working on on-and-off has just caught the rest of my attention when I really needed to switch passion projects for a while.

And that something else involves my former RWBY OCs! Yes, former RWBY OCs. Back when I was still really into RWBY, I developed some fan characters for a bit. I never really wrote down the story, but by the time I thought to write it down, the trailer for RWBY Volume 7 had come out, and just watching it made me realize that I'd gotten wayyyyy too emotionally invested in it to continue watching it. And then that one Twitter/X teaser where Team RWBY and Them were suddenly wanted by the government for canonical reasons really turned me off. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty good show! Maybe not the best of shows, but it's still decent! Buuuuuuut, I just decided from that point on that I would not watch RWBY anymore and not follow any of the RWBY Official social media accounts, for my own mental health.

So after that, I decided to take my RWBY OCs and make them actual original characters and make their story and actually original story. And that's what brings us to today, where I've decided to work on their story and worldbuilding full-blast! So far, I have a good portion of the lore worked out, and most of the basics of the magic system (where there's actual magic and lots of magically-inclined mortal races of people). The story itself is still a major WIP, and I'm not sure what I'll do with the story once I feels it's ready to be shared.

OH! Also, I'm considering recording videos of me playing Java Edition Minecraft, either in survival mode with cheats and Keep Inventory enabled and no Wardens/Phantoms/Pillager Raid Parties spawning and Mob Griefing disabled, or in creative mode with all of those gamerules inplaces and cheats enabled. I know, I know, that's "not what real gamers do!" But I'm a very casual gamer, and I think the world needs more casual Minecraft YouTubers. Plus, I'm not gonna be playing to fulfill every last whim of every last potential subscriber, I'm gonna be playing Minecraft to make myself happy and to show the world how I play Minecraft. Those gamerules and cheats exist for a good reason, and that's to make the game more accessible for casual players who don't like dealing with certain annoying/scary aspects of the game! If you don't like the fact that I'm playing the game with those gamerules enabled and/or disabled, then... don't play in your Minecraft singleplayer worlds like that?? I don't know what else to tell those who don't like games being accessible to anyone who doesn't want to play games in constant fear of dying and losing all your stuff.

But since this post is so long already, I'm gonna make a separate poll to gauge interest within my small but sweet following about watching my hypothetical Minecraft videos! They'd all be uploaded to my second YouTube channel, which is @/EsorOgramiraMisc on YouTube!

Delros when dealing with young adults from the Eighth Century of the Fourth Millennium

Listen, he may not look very old, but he's literally been in existence, in one way or another, for over 5,000 fucking years.

He's seen some shit, and he's seen how weird the senses of humor of the young adults from the Fourth Millennium have gotten over the past eight centuries!

Mainly because he's literally been four of said young adults.

But yeah, this is kind of a "callout" post for Kae's sense of humor. ...And mine. Because I've based Kae's sense of humor off of mine. TwT

I present to you a pair of autistic young adults who are Certified Disaster Bisexuals!

Ellira Tjelzirus (chell-ZEE-russ)! A bisexual Dragon Elf lady (as in, a fluffy, mortal dragon who can turn into a mortal elf at will. That's... literally what all Dragon Elves are. Every Dragon Elf uses their elf form much more often than their true form, simply because their dragon forms are big and Not Suited To Fit Inside The Temples Of The Two Holy Windstorms!)! Ellira's also The Sacred Vessel of The Brightened Wind, meaning that she is The Goddess of her homeworld's Light, reborn!

No, that is not a Minecraft Diamond Dagger she has in her hand! It is a Solid Brightened WInd Dagger! Only Razakia (Sacred Keeper of Leytovar's Light, Goddess of The Brightened Wind) can summon Solid Brightened Wind weapons, and because Ellira is Razakia reborn, so can she!

Ellira's more attracted to women than to men, but she's still definitely attracted to men! She's especially attracted to men who are twinks, like Kae, her boyfriend! When it comes to men, she prefers men who are tall enough that she can easily lean her head into their chests when she hugs them or cuddles with them.

Also, any Dragon Elf can become a loaf in their secondary form! You know what I mean, right? That thing where cats will lie down and tuck their front paws up against their chests until their paws disappear! Dragon Elves can do that in their true forms! And they LOVE doing it in parks on a sunny day! When they become Dragon Elf loafs on sunny days, they'll stretch their wings out on either side of them to absorb the warmth of their sun!

Next up, we have Kaelech "Kae" Edlurios (KAI-leck, kai), who is Ellira's human boyfriend! Kae is holding a Dark Leytovari Steel dagger, and he is REALLY fucking good at using a dagger/shiv/knife/switchblade to defend himself! Kae is Delros's Fourth Mortal Vessel, meaning that he is the Balance Keeper of Faldoria (Kae's homeworld) reborn!

Kae is also bisexual (obviously)! He's more attracted to men than to women, but he definitely feels attraction to women! He finds tall, buff women and men very attractive, but he also likes dating people who are shorter than him, because he enjoys having a significant other who can easily lean their head into his chest when they hug him or cuddle with him. Which, Ellira is about 4-5 inches shorter than he is.

Kae loves Ellira in each of her forms! Whenever she enters her dragon form to stretch her wings and sun herself in a park, she also lets Kae rub her belly, give her chin scritches and ear scritches, and lets him scratch her back between her wings, as these are all the forms of physical affection that most Dragon Elves will ask you for in their dragon forms.

Also, Kae is incredibly impulsive, impulsive to the point where (in Volume 1 so far) he's made decisions that very easily could've killed him!... Much to Delros's chagrin. Delros is constantly scolding him for making dangerous decisions without thinking about the consequences of those actions beforehand.

I've been dealing with some serious artistic burnout lately, so I don't have any energy to work on character ref sheets like I want to. But somehow, I do have the energy to work on cursed shitposts of my OC's and my sona!

Characters from back to front, left to right are: Esora Ogramira (my sona, Dragon Elf in secondary/true form, she/they), Kaelech "Kae" Edlurios (KAI-leck, kai, main character of Volume 1, human, he/him), Ellira Tjelzirus (chell-ZEE-russ, second main character of Volume 1, Kae's girlfriend, Dragon Elf in secondary/true form, she/her), Lerosenn Gelvertol (pronounced with a hard g, third main character, Kae and Ellira's mutual friend, Dragon Elf in secondary/true form, he/him), and Delros (in his Original Vessel (he starts out with his soul attached to Kae's soul, as Kae is Delros reborn!) main character along with Kae, Balance Keeper of Faldoria, human, he/him).

Fun fact: I originally wrote Delros with the intention of him being neurotypical. However, he decided, on his own, that he's autistic and ADHD. Hence why I'm including him here as an Autism Creature alongside the other three characters and me!
