#detective conan #case closed #ran mori #shinichi kudo #shinran #shinranweek2023 #my gifs #episode 190 #really wanted to get at least one thing done during the actual shinran week but alas!#could have posted it while it was still shinran week in hawaii but i disliked the coloring so redid it--think i like this more now #i was drawn to this prompt because 'the desperate revival' recently got remastered! it's so nice to edit with!#and there's a lot that gets me about this...#i liked the 'intimate gestures' prompt a lot too because it makes me think a lot about the love language of physical touch #which i think is really important to shinichi! look at how much he treasures being able to embrace ran here #as himself--in his own body #(and funimation dub only but in episode 42 he even says that he wished he could have held ran in his arms...)#also different note but love how the black organization is associated with black birds and how shinichi's entrance here is black feathers #and in that last one ran really should be the one protecting shinichi haha #but yeah! glad to finally have something posted! hope to finish an amv soon!!!

Another thing I loved about the special is how it centered one of the big themes of this era, literally making it the final message of the era - that the Doctor is not some super special hero, better than anyone else and untouchable and trying to be like them a foolish act that can only lead to death, but rather that anyone can make those hard choices, anyone can be the hero. That despite what others may try to pin on them or mistakenly believe, the only thing that makes the Doctor special is their love and their hope, the way they inspire the people around them and the relationships they build.

i really liked the ending of the buddy daddies anime, i think it fits the story and what annoys me now are people who are trashing this ending because of that line about kazuki meeting with a girl and that he's not gay for rei, well they were never said to be gay it's just a headcanon. not dating doesn't equal not caring about each other, romantic love is not a necessity and a qpr is not inferior to a romantic relationship. they were shown to be a real happy family in the end, that's what is important here

#buddy daddies #'he's cheating on rei. they don't love each other' how did you watch 12 episodes of the show and miss the point completely #literally accept the idea that love doesn't come from dating #adding more context because this post got out of my mutual circle lmao #it would be great if they started dating but the ending where they remain a qpr is ALSO nice #the show was first and foremost about a family and they did become one in the end! that's what matters the most #they're not your typical conventional family because the point was to show that they don't need to. and they can still be a real one #like there are many kinds of families and it's one like one is better than another #yes they didn't plan that but with time they formed bonds and created memories together and found happiness #and kazuki and rei didn't need to be a romantic couple for all of that yo be meaningful and for their bond to be special #they decided to resign from their jobs and completely change their lives for each other and for miri #so if someone says that all of this doesn't matter and they should've get married to be finally a real family then they're just wrong

#supernatural #spn #supernaturaledit #spnedit #spndaily #supernaturaldaily #tvedit #my edits #deanedit #deanwinchesteredit #dean winchester #spn season 10 #this show is so good at portraying PTSD. if only they were allowed to call it that #s10 dean dealing with the mark is such a uniquely fantastic bit of writing it's a shame s15 also exists #no joke between the purgatory flashbacks in s8 and the continued unfolding of dean's bloodlust arc I think they finally understood dean #not to mention this is the first time anyone's really had to deal with trauma aside from cop-outs and shortcuts #ofc dean remembered hell the first time and had some flashbacks but those were limited to a few episodes and some torturing #it's in s10 when dean wants to torture and kill and hurt that you realize he learned how to do that in hell #s8-10 masterful dean arcs. the layering of the trauma like a fine tiramisu or perhaps a nice pastry #oh the reason this is images is not because of artistic choices (that was only later I like this better actually) the gifs were stupid #by that I mean a 20-frame gif with not many colors was refusing to compress into anything less than 10mb. so stupid
