I find it funny that the Fudge is enthusiastic about murdering candy people a la by eating them, but as soon as he learns that the circus crew isn't candy, is apologetic and sets them down. Something about him being a giant monster with unsettling habits (even in his spare time according to him ;) ) while also being able to admit he's wrong when he messes with non-candy folk is hilarious.
