every year people get angry when ao3 requests donations but honestly in a world where almost all spaces online are slowly being eaten by corporations which censor the content on those sites, having a fan-run fan-sponsored place where people can create gay art without fear is great

headcanon that people of the islands sleep schedule is like, four hours later than average.
they wake up at mid day, and sleep well past midnight. kids begging their parents on weekends to pleeaaase please let them step up just a little longer to watch the sun rise. early-riser visitors / tourists having to adapt to their horrid schedule because stars forbid theyre up and about at 10:30.

Hey guys I'm supposed to be asleep but I'm still thinking about what @carpetbug said earlier and only thought it fair to expand. (I made feline blue and Mao have that blue stuff so you can see the eye shine shit better)
This was the conversation. If you weren't already aware 😭😭 it's so silly

Rion being a dog with the power to turn into a human really begs the question of which animals can have powers. Is it just animals that spend time around humans? Is it just intelligent animals? Where's the limit? Is there a bug somewhere that found out it can teleport after it almost got eaten by a bird?

Rhaenicent is so important to me on many levels, to the point that I feel my identity is incomplete without them. And I know that may sound silly, but Rhaenicent is not only an extremely important part of my lesbian and queer identity, but also being my 2years (and going) special interest that helped me get an autism diagnosis. The ship is my biggest comfort, and whilst my obsession with them has bordered on unhealthy at times and I’ve prioritised thinking about them over assignments or work, the comfort the ship brings me has brought me out of deep depressions and spirals.
So yea if you couldn’t tell already rhaenicent is very important to me!

I also think its important to remember that a lot of vulcans follow suraks teachings; sorta like Buddhism or stoicism but not exactly.
one of surak's major points is this:
"Ideally, do no harm. - Harm speeds up the heat-death of the
Universe, and indirectly, your own.
but it allows wriggle room, like do a little harm as possible. i think that spock references him a few times.
My thing is- their mindset it based on logic, and doing the best thing right??? But I think you can spin a lot of what's "logical".
(Ex.“this is a salad. It's good to eat because it's good for you even if its not tasty" vs "this cake also has value, it is more satisfying and it's important to keep sugar stable".)
DOES that mean vulcans are professionally good at gaslighting others? And ARE there vulcan lawyers?
I'm asking these questions to build an oc. Do we know anything about the vulcan justice system.....
