12 years ago, I used to create gig posters for amazing bands that came around the area. I’m still super grateful for the promoters and venues who supported my work, especially The Intersection I was able to create some really cool pieces for bands I love - thanks to you guys!
Here’s a poster that I did back in 2013 for a Mastodon and Machinehead show at The Intersection.

Not feminist as in "women should be included in the draft" but feminist as in "being drafted is a violation of bodily autonomy for any gender".
The draft should not exist. Drafting people into the military is a violation of human rights. You should not be able to force someone to risk their life. If you can't find enough people who care about a conflict to keep it going then it simply shouldn't keep going. You can't even force someone to donate a kidney using government power, why the fuck can you force them to donate their whole body and life to a cause they don't agree with or don't care about?

The Intersection #2: Deep Treasures

Often tabletop games will have rules for battles in/under bodies of water that end up being ignored, so for this last game of Pulp Alley I decided to use water as much as possible.
For this game I used this cool map on the workshop (Container Ship Clash in by Bobo the Talking Clown) and the Pirates scenario by Andrea Serain. Essentially: There was a crashed cargo ship in the middle of the ocean, with a special chest full of loot falling to the sea. Both leagues had to find a datapad in the cargo to detect the chest, dive in deep water to find the chest itself and then drag it back to the starting point. Two new leagues were involved in this contest:
Tumblr media
The Irregulars, a raftag band of mercenaries trying to make a buck in the Intersection. Left to right: Miranda, Bosko (the bear, to be clear), Viktor and Sherry.
Tumblr media
The Sunken, servants of eldritch forces from the deep sea.
Left to right: Two deep ones, Crabby (in the back), the Draugenlord (in front) and two Draugr.
Of course the Sunken had the special "Aquatic" ability, which would allow them to freely move in the water around the table. Not only that, but rules for deep water barred any enemy not underwater from attacking them (a rule only noticed in the middle of the game). So they had a clear advantage.
The Irregulars tried to combat this by setting up a trap, waiting til the Sunken got the chest and waiting by the return path, where they would have to dive only for a brief turn to beat up the enemy and return quickly to the surface. Unfortunately the Sunken simply sent it's minions to keep the Irregulars busy while the Draugenlord brought the chest back, winning the game.
I'll have to rethink how I'll use water in future games, but it was still a cool game.

Tradwives need to realize the seriousness of the shit they are getting themselves into.
The society isn't all that kind to women.

You all realize Feminists have been critiquing "women only spaces" for decades right?
I think often about Audre Lorde's critique of a women only event that welcomed her wife and daughter, but not her son. Because she questioned it - the function and purpose of barring even the sons of Feminist women from Feminist events. Especially the barring of her young Black son, who would otherwise be left alone in the city where he would be more prone to the very violence those same Feminist women claimed to want to change.
Because what functional, forward thinking Feminist purpose does it actually serve to do that? What message does that send to women with sons, husbands, brothers, lovers, friends, who want to involve the men and boys in their lives in their activism? Who want to build a functionally better world for us all outside of the oppressive grasp of Patriarchy? Especially for the marginalized men who often sit at their own intersection violent Patriarchal oppression, that still happens to be Patriarchal oppression despite it not being distinctly misogyny?
What purpose does it truly serve to sequester yourself away into a pocket of the world, detached from those you share it with? What bright and shining future does that really promise you?

The Intersection #2 - Capitol Battle Had the first game of The Intersection, my campaign of Pulp Alley set in a kitchen-sink post apocalyptic earth (that's legally distinct from Rifts).
Like always I started with a basic scenario from the core book: The Lost keys, where a character needs to collect one of the lesser objectives around the table before attempting the main one.
Narrative-wise, the objectives were pen-drives with codes to a computer-locked briefcase, which contained a piece of pre-apocalypse weaponry that both sides wanted. All of these objects could be found amidst the skeletons of presidential staff.
Two Leagues were after the macguffin:
Tumblr media
The Gardeners: Agents of a interdimensional society who keeps watch over the cosmos, interested in keeping Intersection-earth a neutral place and stopping any organization from taking over it.
(Agents from left to right: Slash the beast-woman, Ophiuchus of the magic sickle, Eliphas the magician and Somebody, the time-traveling inventor).
Tumblr media
The Amber Squad: Agents of a pre-apocalypse conspiracy who is preparing to conquer Intersection-Earth. Basically the Enclave from Fallout, with elements of The Brotherhood of Nod from Command & Conquer.
(from left to right: Two soldiers, Amber Captain, Hacker and Infiltrator).
So both sides fought in front of the capitol building, with the Gardeners defeating most of the Amber Squad (with the exception of the Amber Captain), before running away with the briefcase.

What trans men say: when you exclude us from your activism simply because we're men, you are telling the patriarchy that it's okay to be misogynistic towards us, as long as we don't identify as women. Not only are you putting us in danger but you're also feeding the same evil that oppresses you, that will never respect you no matter how many of us you sacrifice, because at the end of the day predatory cis men see us as just another flavor of you. They hate us cause they hate you.
What y'all hear: when you say you hate men, that hurts our feelings so please stop saying that
