Why am I just now learning that this man was more than a kick-ass trailer park talk show host!? Jerry Springer was a highly educated, charismatic individual who was born in London England from refugee parents escaping the Holocaust. He became a lawyer and began working on Robert Kennedy’s campaign in the 60s. #tulane #northwestern !??? Are you serious!? Proud to have been your fan. Job well done.

I've found a lot of hip hop diss tracks about WorldStarHipHop.com criticizing the website for its content---especially how it portrays black people.

I wonder if there have ever been any rappers who've made diss tracks at "The Jerry Springer Show" and the talk shows of Maury Povich, Jenny Jones, and Ricki Lake, because those shows have all had negative portrayals of black people (and other races).

I've seen people compare WorldStarHipHop to "The Jerry Springer Show" and I understand the comparisons (people---usually black---brawling in "Jerry Springer Show"-esque fights and some other shock value content).

I know Chuck D from Public Enemy criticized Jerry Springer's and Maury Povich's talk shows for their portrayals of black people, and in the 1990's he wrote a book where there was a part where criticized talk shows like Montell Williams, Jenny Jones and Ricki Lake.

Remembering Jerry Springer 1944-2023

TV talk show host Jerry Springer has died at 79. In addition to The Jerry Springer Show, he had many moments within pop culture, playing himself or versions of himself in movies and TV show. But here is my personal favorite of his.

In the 1999 movie sequel Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Scott Evil and Dr. Evil appear on Springer’s show and as usual on his show, chaos ensues.
