just want you guys to know that whenever a new season drops, and we get all the fun bts and promo and so on and we always say “something shifted” like… we aren’t wrong.

every single time we say that something has indeed—shifted.

buck and eddie’s relationship is constantly changing and evolving in whatever way you may think, and just because it hasn’t gotten to the Obvious romance portion does Not mean that we’re “crazy” or “delusional” …

there is 100% something going on, and yea i see it as a slow burn. nothing makes more sense to me

(but also this is just my personal opinion, if you think otherwise; that is totally valid and i respect you but also please do not start a fight / argument about whether if i am wrong or not. this all just a bit of fun for me, i enjoy shipping them and i enjoy believing in them getting their happy ending! if you don’t that’s totally cool, and i absolutely get it)

my mom loves to lie and like she always swears she was NEVER homophobic or anything to me as a child “i even have a gay work friend” but a really funny memory resurfaced recently where i asked if i could use birthday money i had to buy a rainbow flag when i was like ??? 7?? because i LOVED rainbows. and she said no that means something Evil and god will hate you . so what did i do. but ask my grandmom for a rainbow sweater for christmas and proceed to only wear that sweater for three years when it got cold because i didnt like the idea that god hated colors and i wanted to challenge him

can't stop thinking about that joke about Jason having to ask for every bolt of lightning he uses, but what if- what if that was true.

just imagine Jupiter giving a restricted amount of bolts he can use in a set time and not renewing them until the time limit has passed. just imagine Jason in battle counting off every lightning strike and trying to save them for later. just imagine that the only way to get more is begging to a father who does not care to listen. sometimes the count varies and he's in the middle of a fight and suddenly the lightning he's summoning puffs into smoke in his hands and he's left scrambling even though he's sure he hasn't run out. Jason learns to manipulate the winds, to fly, to fight and win without lightning ever sparking between his fingertips because there's always a chance that he may need it later, that a greater emergency could occur. He's fighting Krios, furious and fast when there's suddenly smoke where there should be lightning and he grits his teeth, raises his sword, and keeps going. He wins.

While we're all talking about both the WGA/SAG strikes and Barbenheimer, I hope everyone realises that the entire reason this exists is because Christopher Nolan stood up to Warner Bros against pushing their entire cinematic slate onto streaming in 2021, by taking his next film to another studio.

Then, as an act of petty revenge, they decided to deliberately move their single biggest movie of 2023 (and arguably WB's biggest non-Batman/Harry Potter movie in DECADES) directly onto his release date.

So no, the Barbie Marketing isn't "so good it helped another movie". The Barbie Marketing Machine was specifically designed to get back at someone who dared to stand up against WB executives.

It was a calculated move of malice by soulless corporate fuckeroonies.
