Admins' comment: ❝Oh, I have heard of this! And also the other one that says if you swim in a pool or a river or the sea during a thunderstorm, you could get hit by lightning strike (so it has something to do with being wet/being in the water). Not sure how accurate that is, because I've never done any actual research about it, but I have been in a pool while it was raining and taken a shower while it was storming several times before. Still unharmed so far lol❞ — Admin 1

Note
how are lightning sprites formed
Dangerously. To make a single lightning sprite, over 30 wild strikes have to be collected by specialist lightning farmers and crammed into the can of regular Sprite before it's plugged with a traditional Sprite globule. On average, two employees die per can of lightning flavored Sprite you see on the shelf, making it the 4th unsafest job in America after coal miner, oil rig worker, and literally anything for the government right now.

Epic Upwards Lightening!
This phenomenon occurs when there is a rapid change in the electrical field, after a positive, nearby cloud to ground strike.
While rare, they can be stunningly beautiful and are usually initiated from tall buildings, towers & even large wind turbines.

We know 9-1-1 loves a parallel - was the lightning strike meant to parallel the well? Because both were caused by a piece of equipment essentially acting as a giant lightning rod, both resulted in the other half of Buddie being on the ground so they didn't realise what had happened straight away (Buck tackled Bobby to get him out of harms way, Eddie was blown off the truck due to the control panel on the ladder exploding) and both times they tried to save the other person but couldn't (Buck starts digging at the mud with his hands, Eddie tries to pull Buck back on the ladder but can't as he's dead weight).
Also, and this is likely coincidence but might as well include it, Eddie begins was in season 3 and In a Flash was in season 6.

Do you ever think about that moment, that one second before Eddie screams Buck's name...
after the lightning strike there is this silence, Hen, Chim, looking up, Bobby also but then he shifts towards Eddie, and Eddie... he's getting up, ears probably ringing, a little stunned, a little fucked up but he's up, ready, maybe thinking "damn, that was close"... he gets back to his position, there is a thunder, he looks up and his world is no longer the same... in this one second he doesn't comprehend what he sees and his heart stops... this cannot be... "no!"... in defiance his heart starts beating again and world be damned as he screams Buck's name…
...but this moment is there, this one second where you can see in his eyes how everything changes...
Done this for @summerofbuddie "canon appreciation" challenge.
I alsolutely love shooting scene but I can't get over that one moment from lightning strike... or maybe I'm seeing too much but I don't care... it's there, ok?
