I remembered how I participated in Mickey and Minnie Week. In addition to the AUs that I tried to implement (Stories from Mouseton, AU with Manon), I decided to illustrate Mouses from my other AUs (Fantasia Valley and The Little Keeper). And today another idea has appeared - the AU Brave Little Tailor with the participation of Oswald.

And so, the question is: which AUs should I tell you more about? What would you be most interested in knowing?

I think the key difference between Fitz and Keefe’s trauma responses is that Fitz is aware and ashamed of how his behavior affects those around him, while Keefe fully believes he is only being self-destructive when in fact his behavior is equally if not more destructive to those around him.

You all know the trope of the Corrie Commanders becoming increasingly closer and protective of Fox as the war goes on, and sometimes become even hostile towards the rest of the CC's.

That, but they are really just competing over who Fox likes more. Thorn and Cody have a fistfight about it on the streets.

and another thing as long as people are annoyed with me! dorian and orym have done weeks nay months of longing and pining for each other in their time apart! absence makes the heart grow fonder is a phrase for a reason!

dorian was ripped away from the person who he constantly looked to when making decisions for almost a year and realized how much he was missing without him! orym had one of his closest friends since leaving zephrah, someone he brought home with him and trusted enough to bring into the grief and weight of finding the people who attacked his leader and killed his father and husband for seemingly no reason, torn off of his side for a reason he couldn't fault dorian for but resented nonetheless and it made him face that he might be attached to someone in a way he hasn't been since will.

i can't believe that after orym yelled “I really miss dorian, and sometimes I think that’s okay, and sometimes I think it isn’t!” and robbie said that as dorian's "had more time alone and as he feels the group start to drift, he's starting to come to a realization that's unsettling for him and that he's missing something in this equation that he thought would lead him to the right answer and its purpose; and I think it's something he ran from months ago, something he felt like he didn't have and wanted and wanted to just forget about" anyone can really say that dorym's affection and care for each other is coming completely out of left field.

Also also, while I’m here, why tf did they spend all that time having Klaus be so insistent on staying sober in the beginning of the season, just to have him relapse immediately after getting his powers back? Yk what would’ve actually been interesting? Having Klaus decide that he’s worked too hard for his sobriety to just give it up and try to navigate using his powers while sober (which is probably something he hasn’t had to really do since he was a child).

When Inquisition Agents reach out to Clan Lavellan, or when they enter the Jaws of Hakkon, what might they expect to encounter? When a Warden calls upon the Legion of the Dead, how are they welcomed, and what are the customs that differ between the dwarves outside of Orzammar and those within? When we reach out to allies across the sea, or meet with diplomats from the indigenous Seheron people or in Rivain--or elsewhere? How do these welcomes differ for strangers, for armed people, for unarmed people, for children, for long-lost family?

Ellana's hand poses in the "folding betel leaf" page is heavily referenced from this video. The phoenix-wing betel and the trope of Deshanna recognizing her daughter from how the betel was prepared are also inspired by the Vietnamese folktale "Tấm Cám", which has a similar ending reveal to Cinderella where instead of the glass slipper, the King saw a set of phoenix-wing betel and immediately recognized it as being made by his long-lost love, and reunited with her at last. I've included some images under the cut of how it looks like in real life.

nothing (besides everyone ignoring Orym's deal) has made me angrier than watching Dorian keep up this facade. Dorian Storm has always been a type of mask he's worn. At first he called himself a liar because of it. The happy go lucky bard was a way of escaping for him. He was escaping Brontë so he created Dorian. He didn't believe he was Dorian. Until the Crown Keepers made Dorian real. And for a while, he really believed he was Dorian. That he has this new family and new life and he could be who he truly wanted to be.

And then his brother came back and made his problems Dorian's problems. Until he had to put Brontë back on. Because even if the Crown Keepers + Cyrus called him Dorian, he was Brontë. He had to be who his brother thought he was.

When Cyrus dies, the thread to Brontë had snapped. He was going to see Orym, back to the Bells Hells, back to Dorian Storm. But the foundation of Dorian had shattered. Dorian was created in order to run from his place in life, family, Cyrus. Now he was gone. The Crown Keepers had fallen apart. His friends fell through his fingers and he couldn't do anything to stop it. He was once ready to side with a betrayer god for these people and now they're in the wind.

So Dorian shows back up to Bells Hella and he's completely broken. The foundation of both of his lives has been thoroughly rocked. No brother. No Crown Keepers. The two things that forged Dorian Storm. He wears that mask so fucking well. Because he still wants to believe in it. He said it live on stage that he should "believe his own backstory". The one he made up. The one where he was a bard.

He wants to be Dorian so bad. He spends all his money on Orym, he spins the bottle so he can kiss his friends, he flirts, he blushes and giggles at compliments. Exactly how Dorian would, should.

But he wears the gold of the heir. He has a festering animosity inside his chest. He doesn't sleep. He's thinner than he was. He doesn't sleep. He sicks abominations after their creators. He talks to God's without an ounce of self preservation, daring them to strike him down. He does not acknowledge them as they taunt him.

The god of beauty and magic calls him beautiful and he does not smile.
