Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989) - Fun, mostly light-hearted family comedy about a quirky scientist who invents a shrink ray and accidentally shrinks his and the neighbor's kids.
Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992) - Commentary on how corporations will inevitably attempt to seize any significant scientific advances their employees make in the name of profit, disguised as a fun, mostly light-hearted sequel where the quirky scientist does the same thing again, but big this time.

What are you doing?
Driving home.
Pull over. As soon as it's safe.
Is everything ok?
Pull. Over. I'm waiting.
...
Ok, I'm parked. What's happening?
Close your eyes and listen.
They're closed, daddy.
Daddy. Doesn't. Cum. Alone.
Oh. Oh... Fuck.
...
Do you like daddy's surprises?
Yes, daddy. Very much.
Now, get home safe, baby.
I will, daddy. On my way.

Here’s my take on the whole audio books vs. reading:
Oral tradition of storytelling predates written ones by millennias, and honestly, which one you like is just a personal preference.
The actual difference is
when listening, you have no idea how to write characters’ names
when reading, you have no idea how to pronounce characters’ names
hope this helps!

i feel like people are sleeping on the occam's razor situation of how buckwild it is to outright accuse a guy of being a clone of your friend even if you DO have a lot of circumstantial evidence. there's other options is what im saying. they could just be like. a guy. that's a sensible deduction. you should explore that deduction. ignore my shirt that reads I <3 RED HERRINGS.
i still think odile has the correct theory on lock but she's smart enough to know it needs like... a real smoking gun to be able to bring it up without sounding insane.
anyway. (mirabelle voice) i know its rude to speculate but has anyone else noticed the grieving? they seem to be grieving. does anyone have any thoughts on the grieving? i have some thoughts on the grieving.

swear to god if I read another motherfucking fic where these vampires pause to get the lube I am going to have a fucking mental breakdown and chew holes in the walls. i have had it up to here. this is an intervention. this is a come-to-jesus moment. what are you doing. are you thinking about your choices. why are you making them have sex like they're humans instead of weird fucked-up vampire sex. look into my eyes. can you please consider your worldbuilding choices and make ones that are less excruciatingly boring. look at me. you're being the softest beigest pillow if you make them use human lube. i'm serious. i will die on this hill.
fight me in the comments if you disagree or you feel huffy about this, i don't care. come at me, bro, i own the night.
