Part two of this au 😭

So anyway Johnny and pony had plans, but ofc pony never showed, which kind of ticks Johnny off so he hangs out with dally instead. Dally figures that whatever pony is doing isn’t that important so they should just go find him

They go to the curtis house, pony isn’t there, but dally sees that the door to Darry’s “experiment room” is open, so they go inside to snoop.

Everyone that was shrunk tries to get their attention/warn them, but it’s too late

Soon enough, they’re all shrunk. Dally and Angela immediately start fighting for control, not because either of them would be good leaders, but because they want it

Twobit ends up becoming the leader (accidentally) by being the first to leave the room. Everyone just kind of follows him after that. They hope that by reaching darry, he can make them normal sized again.

By the time they make it to darry, he’s occupied. They’re too small to get his attention anyway, even yelling doesn’t do much except annoy him

Meanwhile, it’s been a good long while since Tim sent angela to go pick curly up, and he’s getting a little mad. It’s not a hard task, just get curly and come home.

Ofc he has to do everything himself 🙄

He goes to Darry’s house and is like “where tf are my kids?!”

Darry is just like “I don’t know. They’re YOUR kids.”

They tussle for a minute, but ultimately decide to go look together when darry realizes he doesn’t know where his gang is either.

They leave the house to go search the neighborhood, completely unknowing that everyone they’re looking for is right there

Dally and Angela both try and get their attention, but ofc it doesn’t work. Pony still blames curly for all of this

Twobit is actually thinking of a solution (trying to, at least. Since all the normally smart people are occupied)

Do you ever just want to add a minor world building thing to a world but just don’t know how… like I was thinking that it would be funny to have a bunch of different kid movie magic be cannon. Like honey I shrunk the kids, or you know the cupboard that makes toys alive.

I was thinking just a regular world… but there is a new pest. Be ware if your hose gets infected with orks. Some kid had this cupboard and decided to put their ork miniatures in it… they got most of them back to plastic but 1 got eaten by a bird… now 20 years later they are everywhere
