sleeping separately after an argument pt. 2
SFW
characters: mihawk, crocodile, and buggy x fem! reader summary: how cross guild would react to you sleeping alone after an argument CW: mainly fluff, slight angst others: not proofread, lowercase intended, and pictures found on pinterest
Tumblr media
—————
Dracula Mihawk
mihawk is known for his stoic and composed demeanor. however, an argument that leads to you sleeping in the guest bedroom would shake his calm exterior. mihawk values control and precision, not just on the battlefield but also in his personal life. The argument would leave him feeling a sense of imbalance, disrupting the harmony he strives to maintain.
initially, he would analyze the argument with the same meticulousness he applies to his swordsmanship. he would replay the conversation, seeking to understand your perspective and where he might have gone wrong. he would be restless and his castle, usually a sanctuary of peace, would start to feel unusually empty and cold.
his conclusion? being right wasn't worth you being upset and distant with him. especially not when it meant sleeping alone.
"dear?" his voice uncharacteristically gentle as he enters the room.
"I would save this for the morning, but that would not sleeping in your arms tonight," he says, kneeling beside the bed and lifting you up bridal style. his actions catching you by surprise as you subconsciously wrap your arms around his neck for support.
"you can tear me a new one in the morning," he jokes (something he rarely did), before placing a gentle kiss on your forehead as he made his way back to your shared room.
Sir Crocodile
crocodile would initially react to an argument and subsequent separation with a sense of indifference. or at least that's how it looks on the surface. the argument would leave him brooding as he is not one to easily admit fault, and his pride would make it difficult for him to do so immediately.
he would spend the first half of the night in his office, surrounded by the trappings of his power, telling himself that you'd get over it soon.
as the night wore on, your lack of presence would make him realize that you weren't going to get over it soon. and by this point, he has had enough. he would make his way to the guest bedroom. without even bothering to knock, he would burst through the door, staring down your curled-up form. a pang of guilt would run down his spine as he looked at you.
"when are you coming to bed?" his voice rough, a complete contrast to the worry in his eyes and the guilt that he felt. he already knew the answer, so when you don't respond he would just lift you up, throwing you over his shoulder before landing a firm slap on your ass.
"you're mad? fine, be mad, but be mad in our room," he says sternly as he walks back to your shared room.
Buggy the Clown
buggy with his flamboyant and often comical personality would react to an argument with you more dramatically. the idea of you sleeping separately would initially infuriate him causing his pride and insecurities to flare up.
he would spend the initial moments of the separation grumbling and throwing a minor tantrum to anyone who could listen, convinced that he was right (he wasn't). however, as the night wore on, his anger would give way to the loneliness and regret he felt.
he would pace outside you door, muttering to himself as he debates whether to knock or not. not sure if you even wanted to see him after what he has done.
she's probably waiting, arms wide open, for me
or maybe she's packing her bags finally tired of my antics
oh nika i hope it's not that
in the end, he would knock on the door and try putting on a confident front even though he's low-key expecting you to ignore him. so when the door opens, the first thing you are greeted with is a shocked buggy, making another one of his goofy faces. this subconsciously cracks you up unknowingly breaking the ice for him.
"sugar! oh, how i've missed you," he would immediately pull you into a tight hug. and without much of a warning, he would start word-vomiting his apologies.
"i'm so sorry about my actions from earlier sugar and i’m sorry for being so stubborn about it. I understand now that i went too far and that i should’ve acknowledged that instead of arguing with you. but i promise that it won't ever happen again. so please forgive me this once, sugar?"
you don’t have it in you to send him away after all that so instead you would simply pull him into the room before turning and going back to bed this time with him following suit.

part 1
hi guys! thanks again for reading, this is the second part and honestly the last, for op at least. buggy was surprisingly the easiest to write while mihawk was the hardest TvT. hopefully i did them all justice tho!!
i have a few ideas of what i want to write but if you have any suggestions for plot or character please let me know, i’m open to any ideas :).

Drunk Dial Pt. 3
Tumblr media
Read the rest of the series here
Warnings: mentions of sex, illusions to sex, cursing, verbal argument, basically Jessie and R yelling at each other for the majority of this chapter
WC: 3.4k
A/N: this is the end of this little series, i have a feeling some of you won’t be too happy with this being where i leave it, but this is sort of a left up to your interpretation ending… don’t forget some of you voted for this ;) (unknowingly, but you did)
You stood looking at yourself in the bathroom off of Haley’s bedroom. Across your body, a sleep shirt from some college, not one you attended and it wasn’t the familiar UCLA logo you had grown to know. On your bottom a pair of sleep shorts you didn’t recognize either. You had just woken up but you were ready to go home, you didn’t need to stay here, you felt out of place being here. That’s when you see your phone light up, Jessie’s face across it.
“Shit shit shit.” You scramble to grab your phone.
You quickly pop your head into Haley’s bedroom. “Uh, sorry, phone call, I should take this. It’s um, work.” You lied, she nodded and pointed out the door toward her living room.
Once the door is closed behind you, you take a deep breath and answer the call, bringing the phone to your ear.
“Hey.” You whisper.
“Hey, why are you whispering?” Jessie’s tone immediately turned accusatory.
“Um, no reason.” You say, clearing your throat and trying to make the hush in your voice less obvious. It’s not like you could tell her where you were, she didn’t need to know the choices you made last night and how regretful you were about them this morning.
“Okay, well I’m on my way over, we need to talk. About last night, about the other night, we need to talk about all of it.”
“Um.” You frantically look around the living room, finding your sweatshirt that had been haphazardly thrown off last night, slipping it over your head. “I’m not home right now. So just give me a little bit.”
“Where are you? It’s 8 in the morning.” You could hear traffic in the background of Jessie’s call, an indication she was likely already on her way.
“No where, I can be there in like 30 minutes.” You hang up before she can ask you any more questions about your whereabouts. You open the bedroom door, Haley is now sitting up in bed, the covers pulled up around her body.
“Hey sorry, I um, I have to go, work calls.” You play it off with a smile and a shake of your cell phone.
“Oh no worries.” She waves a hand at you and gives you a polite smile.
My clothes?” You question the girl.
“Should still be out by the couch.”
“Right, thanks.” You hurry out toward the couch, grabbing the pile of clothes before heading back into the bathroom, quickly taking off the shirt and shorts you had been lent, putting your own jeans and shirt from the night before back on. You walk out of the bathroom, giving Haley another look. “I put the dirty ones in the basket.”
“Got it, thanks.” She gives you a nod. “Have a good rest of your day, I’ll text you. Good luck with, ya know, everything.”
“Thanks.” You give her a tightlipped smile before excusing yourself and heading out her bedroom door and down the hall out of her apartment. You hopped in your car, barely letting it turn on before you threw it in drive. Driving faster than you should have, you raced to your place, hoping somehow you would be able to beat Jessie there.
Your heart drops when you turn the corner toward the entryway of your building and there stands Jessie. You can see the expression on Jessie’s face turn sour, nearly a smile at the start before she examines you and she’s suddenly sporting a scowl. “So I guess that date must have been better than you lead on.” Jessie states as she looks you up and down once you’re a few feet from her.
“It wasn’t like that.”
“Are you sure? You clearly went to see someone after you left me.” She gestures to your clothing, you suddenly wish you had spare clothes in the car, or you had worn Haley’s clothes home, you could’ve played it off that you had bought new ones, that Jessie just hasn’t seen them before. But you were wearing the clothes she had touched and seen last night, she knew. “I have a feeling it was her. You left me, for her, for someone you barely know.”
“Jessie, that’s not what happened.” You notice your voice raising, trying to defend yourself in an unfortunate situation.
“You sure? Because that’s how it feels and that’s what it fucking looks like.” Jessie raises her voice right back at you, something she had hardly done when the two of you were together, occasionally during an argument but the Canadian held her temper and emotions close most of the time. She waved a hand up and down reminding you that you were in fact still in your clothes from last night.
“Can we do this inside?” You look around at the pedestrian traffic that is passing by the two of you. A couple giving you looks as the two of you argued.
“Sure.” Jessie says, rolling her eyes but following you silently as you open the door to your building and walk to the elevator. The ride up is quiet, as is the walk down the hallway. Once inside your apartment you find your way to the dining room, pulling out a chair and sitting down.
“So we should talk about what happened, all of it.” You say, a twinge in annoyance in your voice.
“Where do you want to start?” Jessie says, propping herself against the wall, her arms crossed across her chest.
the way she stood, arms crossed in defense as if you were the only one in the wrong here, pissed you off. “Oh I don’t know Jessie. Maybe the part where you hid the fact that I told you my feelings when I was drunk? Or how when I left the next morning you told me you weren’t in love with me anymore, only for you drunkenly invited me out last night only to drop the bomb on me that you do in fact still love me? Or how you were trying to get me to take you home and fuck you last night? We have options Jessie, where do you want to start?”
“Where do I want to start?” She stares back at you, raising her voice slightly. “You’re the one who broke the no contact that we had agreed on in the first place calling me after you got stood up! You’re the one who hid these feelings and were too scared to tell me all this time. Then you confess them while you’re drunk, leaving me in a weird spot. I didn’t know what to do. Not to mention your little “gift” you gave me. I’m sorry for calling you yesterday if that’s what you want to hear. But coming yesterday and then pawning me off to Arnold was a shitty move.”
“I didn’t pawn you off, jez Jessie, I wanted to make sure you were safe! You were drunk, it wasn’t the right time for us to talk, or sort this out.” You throw your hands up at her, fists clenched in frustration.
“But it was the time for you to go fuck some girl you hardly know?!” Her cheeks were starting to turn the familiar red that you used to tease her for, you always thought she looked adorable with the slight blush, only now that blush that was caused by compliments or teasing comments was now being caused by the way she yelled at you.
“I didn’t fuck her!” You scream back, your hand coming down to hit the table. You had never yelled at Jessie like this, not when you argued or fought, not when you broke up, never.
Jessie scoffs, “I find that hard to believe.” She’s still defensive in her tone but it’s quieter, almost as if she’s scared.
You immediately drop the anger from your voice. “Jessie I didn’t. I wasn’t in a good mood last night when I left the bar, I panicked, and I called her because I needed someone. I got to her place, and when she let me in, we watched a movie and talked and I broke down about you to her. I was hysterical, I didn’t know what to do.”
That was the truth. You had been embarrassed about it, you showed up to Haley’s door. You knew she was likely expecting sex, that you had called her for a late night hook up. Instead what she got was you at her doorstep, asking to talk.
You started off by apologizing for wasting her time on your date earlier that day. You told her you weren’t ready to commit to anything, and you should’ve realized that before trying to date again. She had been understanding, not making you feel any worse for what had happened. The two of you agreed friendship could be the path you take instead. The more you two talked the more you told her. You told her about Jessie, your past and your current feelings. She offered as good of advice as she could and when you cried about it, she comforted you, offering you to stay the night due to how late it was. You took her up on the offer for the couch, and also for the pair of old shorts and shirt to sleep in. You thought nothing of it, no one would know, it wouldn’t be a problem. You hadn’t expected Jessie to call you bright and early the next morning demanding to see you instantly.
“But you spent the night, you were there this morning, that’s why you were whispering.”
“On the couch! I spent the night on the couch!” You exclaim. “Jessie, I don’t know how to prove it, nothing happened between her and I, we didn’t even kiss. She was being a friend, that’s all I see myself being with her.”
“I find that so hard to believe!”
“We didn’t do anything, nothing!”
“Fine, let’s say you didn’t fuck her, did you go with the intention of fucking her? Did you plan to use her to get over me, to get me out of your head?”
Her question catches you off guard. “I-” you stutter, unsure of what to say and unsure of what your answer even should be. The truth was, you didn’t know. Maybe some tiny bit of you thought maybe you’d get laid, maybe some bit of you just wanted attention, the comfort of another body on yours, some part of you wanted someone to rant to, complain to. You just wanted someone.
Jessie clicks her tongue as you struggle to find the right words. “That’s all I need to know.” She nods slowly before starting to turn away from you.
“No Jessie, wait!” You stand up fast, knocking your chair out from behind you, creating a loud crash that has Jessie turning back to see what had happened. You leave the chair, climbing over it to make your way closer to her.
“No, because clearly you don’t know what you want, I can’t get involved with you again if you don’t know what you want.” She says walking away and towards the door.
“I know what I want.” You say as you walk after her, you couldn’t let her walk out of that door on you, you couldn’t lose her for a second time. You reach your hand out, catching hers stopping her in her tracks. She shakes her hand from your grip.
“I’m leaving.” Her hand turns the doorknob and as she steps out she turns back. “Call me once you have your head on straight and can actually talk with me.”
Being beyond frustrated your anger comes back and you shout at her as you watch her head down the hallway. “Fuck you Jessie, you invited yourself over, no warning, nothing, what if I wasn’t ready to talk?!”
She doesn’t answer, she doesn’t even turn back, doesnt lift her head. She ignores you. The door to the stairs is swung open and her figure quickly disappears as she leaves out of your building.
“Fuck.” It wasn’t going to fix anything but shouting made it hurt less for the time being, so did the swift kick you gave to the door as you closed it.
That was your chance. That was your chance and you fucked it up.
You sent the rest of the afternoon spiraling, unsure of what to say, what to do, nothing felt right. You had cried, your eyes and head both still throbbing as a result. You spent a fair amount of time staring off at the wall, feeling numb to your surroundings. It wouldn’t change anything, you had the opportunity and you failed to win her back. When you tucked yourself into bed early, you tried everything in your power but to think of that brown eyes girl.
But you couldn’t get her out of your mind, she was in every thought, every emotion you had.
“This is so stupid.” The same words you had mumbled to yourself as you got out of your warm bed you repeated to yourself as you started walking. You were walking down the streets of Portland at quarter to midnight, not your brightest idea but you couldn’t stop thinking about her. You should’ve driven, probably safer and faster, but walking cleared your head and that’s what you needed, a clear head.
You walked yourself all the way to the doorstep of Jessie’s townhome, banging on the door. Raising your fist again to knock the door swings open and you nearly punch the Canadian.
“Sorry.”
“What are you doing here?” Her voice is raspy, a little deep, you realize you’ve probably woken her from a sleep. She steps onto the porch closing the door behind her.
“I shouldn’t have let you leave earlier. I should have never let you leave. I still want you Jessie, I was stupid before, so stupid to let you ever go, I should’ve fought for you, I should’ve figured something else out, I should’ve tried something else before we called it quits.” You confess to her.
“So what, are you still in love with me?” The silence between the two of you after she asked was painful, you could practically hear your own blood pumping through your body. You definitely hadn’t expected such a direct question right off the start with her, but at least you’d get straight to the point.
“Are you?” You stare blankly back at Jessie, throwing her own question in her face. The two of you stand eye to eye, neither of you answering.
“What did I tell you at the bar yesterday?” Jessie finally says.
Squinting at her you’re not sure if it’s a rhetorical question or if you should answer, you take the safer option and just reiterate what she told you drunkenly last night. “That you were, you still loved me, you were still in love with me, that you had been too scared to tell me.”
“Then there’s your answer.” Jessie says, as if you were supposed to have assumed that on your own.
The longer you stared at her face the more you felt your anger and frustration with her fade and replacing it was the overwhelming urge to complete her request from last night, push her softly inside the door, kiss her against the wall, lift her into your arms and make the blind walk to her bedroom that you knew so well, take her to bed, make her yours again. Easier said than done and you knew taking her to bed would just complicate the already confusing situation the two of you were in.
“Then you know my answer too Jess.” The nickname slips out of your mouth, it wasn’t something you had called her in a long time. “I don’t know how to prove it, but please just trust me, nothing happened between me and that girl, nothing, Jessie I love you too much to do that.”
Bringing her hand up, she lets her fingers run through her hair before she pulls at the bottom of her sleep shirt. She releases a sigh and looks at the ground.
“So what does that mean for us?” She looks up at you, her brown eyes have a small glisten to them from the moon above both of your heads. You missed her eyes. You missed how she’d wink at you across a crowded room and your stomach would flutter, how she’d look up at you when you came to the side of the pitch to say hello after a game, how she’d steal glances at you when you sat snuggled into the couch. Those eyes made you feel seen in a way no one had before.
“What do you think it means?” You knew what you wanted it to mean, but you didn’t know if she felt the same.
“God some things never change do they?” Jessie fights back a smile as she looks at you with a small shake of her head.
“What does that mean?” You feel yourself starting to get defensive, your tone changing.
“You, the indecisiveness, you could never make choices when we were together. You could never pick a movie, never could pick a board game to play, never pick a restaurant, you never wanted to be the one to make the call, you could never pick anything.”
“I picked you Jessie. And I’d still pick you, everyday.” That was the truth, that was what you had been trying to say to her all along. She was your person, she was it for you, you just hoped she’d feel the same.
“If you’re actually choosing me then do it, pick me and tell me what you want to do, don’t put this on me, make a damn decision for once.” Jessie’s tone had shifted, less angry, less frustrated, it was soft and almost needy as if she was begging you.
“I’m not saying we're dating or that we even go on dates, or hook up, or anything. I’m also not saying we will ever go back to dating, we didn’t work the first time, who’s to say we would now, but I want to try, with you because I still love you, I’ve never stopped loving you. So maybe we start with removing that no contact plan we had? We talk again, we text again, you know, baby steps?” You feel yourself hold your breath when you finish speaking, as if you’re scared you’ve made a poor choice, that she’ll be mad at your proposal.
“Baby steps.” She gives a slow nod of her head, looking you up and down. “Okay, yeah, we can do that.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay, I’ll uh, I’ll text you then.” You can feel the happiness blossoming in your chest.
“Sounds good, get home safe.” Jessie says before turning back to her door. You practically skip down the stairs and down the street all the way back to your home, feeling elated that you might have a chance to finally fix what you had broken months ago.
Jessie turned back, resting against the door, eyes closed. She perked up at the sound of footsteps coming in her direction, straightening up and blinking her eyes quickly as she made out the figure coming toward her.
“You alright? Who was that?” Jessie’s eyes fell on the dark haired girl standing in front of her who was wearing her old grey UCLA shirt that she had always let you borrow and a pair of her boxers. Jessie didn’t know her well, she hardly remembered her name as she stood looking at the woman. The dark red hickey that she had sucked into the unknown girl’s neck just hours ago was peeking out of the collar. Jessie knew there were a lot more hiding under her shirt as well. A wave of guilt flashed through her body, she had just been trying to get even. She hadn’t realized she’d woken her by leaving the bed, she had barely heard the knocking on the door.
Jessie shook her head at the girl. “No one. Wrong house number. You can go back to bed, I’ll be there in a second.”

hii i was wondering if you could do logan with reader that owns a cat and the cat acts JUST LIKE HIM and he cant stand it until reader points it out. thank you!!!!
I loved this request! I have my own little cat, so I wanted this to be as well written as possible. I'm sorry it took so long to be posted. I hope you like it! If you do, please like, comment, and reblog! It really helps me with motivation to keep posting on here <3
This is my kitten rocket 🤭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Logan was never afraid to meet anyone in your life. He had met your friends and family; he met your colleagues and even your old roommate, but for some reason, everyone is telling him he should be afraid to meet your cat.
Logan can remember every warning he got from the people in your life when they found out he hadn't met your cat yet. "Oh, that's her baby" "Oh he has brought a lot of joy into her life since she found him, he really is her number one" "That cat hates anyone that comes over-I swear it's crazy" "Her cat is just very territorial, very protective" "Make sure you wear shoes, he goes for the toes."
He scoffed at these warnings, it's still just a cat. He wanted your cat to like him, of course he did but he also wasn't afraid to meet the damn thing. He knew you loved you cat, that was your baby, and you took care of him more than you took care of yourself something Logan hated, but he didn't think it mattered what a cat thought of him.
You usually would stay at his place after a night out, but for the past few dates, you two went back to your place instead. It wasn't a big deal, but you were worried for how your cat would react to a strange man coming into his territory. "He just doesn't like people Lo', I don't want him to lash out at you." He could hear in your voice how worried you truly were, and he tried his best to reassure you that the cat and him would get along just fine.
He lied to you. Logan can't stand that fucking cat and that cat has it out for him too. The first night the cat didn't even come out of hiding, it completely broke your heart and Logan ended up leaving a bit earlier than planned because you were worried for your cat's wellbeing, as he was leaving he heard you cooing at the cat calling him your baby and your handsome man and though he'd never admit it aloud a twinge of jealous did echo through Logan's chest. The next night the cat did come out of hiding, just so he could attack Logan's legs. When Logan didn't kick him across the room like he wanted to you came and put the cat in your bedroom. "I am so sorry!! Are you okay??" You exclaimed while you closed the door to your room before trying to check on his scratches even though they healed before you could. He grumbled... sort of whined a bit too, and honestly, he was enjoying the attention, so maybe he milked the injury? Sue him.
What really pushed him over the edge was your cat literally pushing him over the edge. It was around 1 in the morning, and you had just fallen asleep. Logan was holding you in his arms and trying his best to fall asleep himself when the door to your bedroom creaked open. Logan, now fully awake, sits up, trying not to disturb you and is greeted with a sharp meow and sharp little claws to the stomach. "Mother fucker" Logan mumbled under his breath as he pushed the cat off of him, "why are you even in here?" he asked quietly so he wouldn't wake you but sharply enough to try and scare the cat away. The cat meowed louder than before as if he was arguing back and went to lay on your chest, purring as he curled himself into a ball. Logan was pissed but he tried to stay cool and just ignore the cat, then around 4 in the morning, Logan was awoken to his body meeting your bedroom floor. When he stood up, he looked at the bed and saw your fucking cat in his spot. "That's it." Logan had enough and grabbed a blanket before going to the couch.
You woke him up hours later, very confused as to why he was on the couch and was replaced by a cat in the middle of the night. "Baby?" You asked softly, handing him his cup of coffee, "don't. Just don't." He grumbles and sips his coffee, sending your cat a glare as he walks around smugged.
Logan refuses to lose against a damn cat!
It's just a stupid cat, not even 4 months old yet. So why was he letting its behavior get to him so much? Because it was your cat, and even if Logan wasn't ready to admit it yet he really did love you and for some reason you loved that asshole cat more than the world so for fuck sake that cat will like him even if it is the last thing he does in his very long life.
Honestly, it was truly ironic if Logan took the time to think about it. Your cat was a grump. He didn't want people around unless he allowed them to be around, and even then, he wanted his distance. But not when it came to you. When you were around, that cat was glued to you and had the loudest purr Logan had ever heard, and your cat really did get protective of you. It was something Logan had never seen before. Usually, cats don't care, but if you came home upset, the cat wouldn't settle down until you did, too. If he took the time to really think about it, maybe he could see the resemblance the cat shared with another grump you have allowed into your life that you loved more than the world.

Not saying "I love you" back to your boyfriend
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pov: You saw on TikTok the trend "not saying 'I love you' to my boyfriend" and wanted to do it, so you could see his reaction.
pairs: enhypen hyung line x fem! reader
This is FICTIONAL. It's NOT about the idols in real life.
warnings: pet names (babe, love...), a bit of drama hehe
LEE HEESEUNG
Heeseung was almost ready to go to work. It was the time you were expecting all say since you saw that video on TikTok.
He put perfume on his body and looked for a last time at the mirror before his eyes finally met yours.
"Bye babe, love you." He said and then got his keys before walking to the kitchen, leaving the bedroom.
"Bye!" You sat on your bed with a book on your lap, barely paying attention when Heeseung appeared again.
"Babe?" He asked, a sad expression on his face. "Did I do something?"
You frowned, acting like you didn't know what he was talking about. "No. Why?"
"Oh, nothing." He said. "Bye, I love you." He tried again, but this time he stayed there, looking at you.
"Bye." You answered. "Have a nice day."
Heeseung crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, with one of his eyebrows raised.
"I love you." He emphasizes.
"Okay." You smile.
"Babe!" He almost cried. It was a cute scene, and his angry face was just so cute to not react to.
You laughed, giving him a flying kiss.
"I love you too, babe. Have a nice day."
PARK JONGSEONG
Jay parked the car next to your house after the date you had today. He gave you flowers, paid the movie theater and the pizza you two ate after the action movie, and told you you were the "love of his life" more times than you can count on your fingers.
But you wanted to do the TikTok trend you saw, and finally you could.
"Bye, love. See you tomorrow." Jay kissed your cheek and caressed your chin. "Love you."
You nodded, smiling a bit.
"See you, bye." And after that, you opened the door as you got out of the car, letting him behind.
Not for many minutes because he got out as well and reached you, holding your hand kindly.
"What's wrong?" His eyebrows were furrowed, worried. "Did I do something?"
You opened your mouth to answer, but he began to talk again.
"It was the flowers? Damn, I knew I should have picked a bigger bouquet for you..."
"But I am okay..." You said.
"So why are you angry?"
"I am not angry, Jay. I just said bye." You were trying your best not to laugh at him.
"You didn't say 'I love you' to me. You always do that when you are angry. I know it wasn't perfect today, but please, I just need one more..." You cut his speech as you hugged him, still holding the [your favorite flowers] bouquet in your right hand.
"I love you, babe. And it was perfect, I swear."
SIM JAEYUN
Jake needs to go to the college in fifteen minutes, when his bus passes. He studies at night, the opposite of you, that study in the morning.
"Gotta go, princess." He kissed your forehead, caring. "Love you."
You waited for him to get out of the bedroom before you could say, "Bye!"
And then you listened to his footsteps again, walking back.
"Ladie, I told you 'I love you'. Don't you think you are forgetting something?"
You almost chuckled. He was acting like you had offended him.
"I don't think so." You said, with an innocent smile.
But you didn't think he was going to put his backpack on the floor and cross his arms, like he had all the time of the world.
"Yes, you are. And I am waiting."
"Jake, you are going to..."
"I have fifteen minutes." He takes a look at his watch. "Ten, to be honest."
"Babe, I am not forgetting anything."
"Yes you are."
"Jake..."
"Say you love me, and I'll leave." You sighed. He was just too cute and stubborn to this TikTok trend.
"I love you, sweetie." You smiled, seeing the same expression on his face.
"I love you more." He pecked your lips before getting out of the bedroom again.
PARK SUNGHOON
He put his tie on and grabbed his backpack, then waved to you.
"See you later, my love. I love you."
"Bye, see you later!" You answered, wanting to see how things would go.
But Sunghoon didn't even reach out to the living room when he listened your answer.
He looked at you.
"Pardon?"
You blinked, innocent.
"What?"
"I said 'see you later, I love you'".
"And I said 'bye'".
He seemed confused and almost worried when he heard that answer again.
"Am I in trouble?" His voice was a bit weak, almost if he was waiting to be scolded.
But you chuckled.
"No? You didn't do anything wrong, babe."
"Then don't you love me anymore?"
You wanted to keep doing the TikTok trend, but his sad expression made you think twice.
"I love you, my dear. See you later." You smiled, seeing his happy face again.
"Love you. I promise to bring chocolate at night and make up with you."
"But you aren't in trouble..."
But he didn't listen and got out of the apartment, saying something about how he really loves you.

Coming Home
I needed some soft Chuuya, so I wrote some soft Chuuya. This is VERY self indulgent and very fluffy
Slightly suggestive at the end - nickname used: angel
Divider by @/cafekitsune
Tumblr media
Chuuya can’t help but release a tired, relieved sigh as the door to his apartment swings open. He’s been away for a week, and that’s a week too long when he knows just what’s waiting for him at home. You’ve ruined him for missions that take him away from Yokohama - how can he spend even a second away from the brightest star in the sky of his life? If you weren’t so important to Mafia operations in the city, he would bring you with him every time he leaves. Alas, it’s not to be - your biochemical knowledge and connections to the local hospitals make you too valuable to lose.
Instead, the two of you spend all hours of the day and night on the phone; 3AM video calls, lunchtime phone conversations and good morning messages having to suffice even though all he wants is to wrap you in his arms and never let go. For now, he’s home, and the boss promised him at least a couple of days rest in return for going on this mission. It was an important one, and there were very few people Mori would trust such a task to.
The patter of footsteps pulls him out of his thoughts, and he can feel a smile tugging at his lips. Clearly, you heard him open the door. He makes quick work of taking off his shoes and he’s just depositing his bag off to one side to deal with later when you round the corner. Your face lights up as you skid to a halt, almost sliding straight into the opposite wall. The laughter that bubbles out of him is soft and affectionate, as if his body needs some way to release all the love he feels for you before his heart explodes with it.
You look cozy, all wrapped up in one of his sweaters and fluffy socks on your feet, and you look like the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen. He opens his arms, already knowing what your plan is, and he’s absolutely right. You barrel down the hallway, jumping into his arms and clinging to him with all your strength. Your legs lock around his waist, and you burrow your face into the crook of his neck, leaving little kisses that he swears he can feel even through the all the fabric of his clothes.
“Hey angel.” The last remnants of tension bleed out of him as he holds you, breathing in the smell of your favourite body wash, the one you started using when you decided it reminded you of him. Now, it just reminds you both of home.
“Missed you.” You’re pouting when you pull away to meet his eye, but it doesn’t last long when he peppers your face in kisses, reducing you to a giggling mess in moments.
Kicking the door shut with his foot, he carries you further into the apartment, bypassing the couch and heading straight for the bedroom, “Missed you too. Did you do anything fun while I was gone? Spend the money I left you?”
You launch into an animated description of all the things you bought while he was gone and Chuuya could feel the fond smile growing on his face. This is what he misses most when you’re apart - the light in your eyes and the excitement in your voice is never the same through a phone screen.
The squeak you let out as he drops you onto the bed makes him laugh once again, and he quickly strips out of his work clothes and changes into something more comfortable. You’ve already tucked yourself under the covers by the time he’s done, and he joins you, immediately pulling you practically on top of him. After he’s been away, he likes to have you as close as possible. If he could crack open his ribcage and tuck you away in there, safe and sound, he would.
“What’s the plan, Chuu?” Your sweet voice is music to his ears, and he leans in to press a kiss to your head.
“First, we’re taking a nap, because I want to cuddle and I know you do too.” He lets his hand slide down your back, trailing down to the plush of your ass and giving it a light squeeze, “Then I’m going to show you just how much I missed my pretty angel.” He moves his hand back up to rub along your spine, smiling when he feels you relax into him, “Then we’re going out for dinner.”
You shift a little, dropping a couple of kisses along the sensitive skin of his neck before you snuggle back into his chest, “Okay. Love you, Chuu.”
“Love you too, angel.” The last thing he sees before he closes his eyes is your soft smile, your features nothing short of angelic as you rest on him, content in his hold and infinitely trusting. His final thought before he slips into sleep is that heaven must feel like the love you share.

Musician Age Gap AU Pt 6
Kara leaves the office early that evening, making time to swing by her sister's house on her way home. Kelly opens the door this time, and she can't quite hide her surprise at seeing her sister-in-law on her doorstep.
"Kara! Hi!" Kelly graciously moves in for a hug, which Kara receives as warmly as she can. "What are you doing here? Come on in."
Kara steps inside, and hovers in the small foyer. "Rescue mission," she says simply, lifting Esme's phone.
Kelly's eyes go wide, and she swiftly turns to call up the stairs. "Esme, honey! Come downstairs, someone is here to see you!"
There's a shuffle of movement upstairs, before a door clicks open and somber feet thud down the steps. Esme's features are duller than Kara's ever seen them, and though dry now, her eyes are red from crying.
"Hi Aunt Kar--"
Kara lifts the cellphone with a smile, and heart heart lifts as Esme immediately cheers at the sight of it.
"AUNT KARA!!!" Esme pelts down the remaining stairs and throws herself into Kara's arms. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Kara laughs, giving Esme a tight squeeze. "You're welcome, hun." She smoothes the hair from Esme's beaming face. "I promised, didn't I?"
Esme agrees with an enthusiastic nod. She swipes to open the phone, but the screen stays dark.
"I'm gonna go charge it," Esme announces. She gives Kara another hug. "Thank you!"
Then she's racing back up the stairs, bedroom door slamming shut in her enthusiasm. Kara shares a look with Kelly.
"Thank you," her sister-in-law echoes. "She's been torn up about it all day."
Kara nods. "I figured she would be. I wanted to make sure I got it back to her as soon as I could."
"I'm surprised the venue found it... I admit I wasn't holding out much hope."
"About that...." Kara hesitates. "Is Alex here?"
Kelly shakes her head. "Not for another hour." She studies Kara appraisingly. "Everything okay?"
"Just.... complicated."
For a long moment, neither of them say anything, the silence stretching thin between them. Kelly is the first to break it.
"You know, Kara..." she says carefully. "I know we've never really been close. But you know I'm here if you ever need anything, right?"
Kara swallows thickly, then gives a deliberate nod. "I know."
She knows Kelly is a kind, wonderful person. Kelly makes Alex happy, and if Kara weren't so busy, maybe they would have bonded by now.
Looking at Kelly now, Kara finds herself wondering... why not start today?
"The venue didn't find it." The admission comes short and quick, but as soon as it's out, Kara feels her shoulders relax. "Lena did."
Kelly blinks. "You mean... *the* Lena?"
"I thought she would send an assistant to drop it off, but-- she didn't?"
"What, you mean... she delivered it herself?" Kelly guesses, voice low to keep Esme from overhearing.
Kara nods. "And now I kind of... have a date?"
She watches a myriad of expressions flicker across Kelly's features, but before she can explain further, her sister-in-law settles on the most vital part of Kara's confession.
"A date with..."
"Yeah."
Another journey plays out on Kelly's face, nodding as she processes Kara's words.
"I guess," Kara continues, "I was hoping Alex might talk me out of it?"
At that, Kelly's gaze sharpens. "Why would you want that?"
"Because it's a ridiculous idea?!" Kara scoffs. "I mean... she's-- and I..."
Kelly shrugs at her. "It might be a little unorthodox, but she's not a child. She's an adult capable of making her own decisions. And it seems like she's made a choice to get to know you better."
"But...."
"Is that really so horrible?"
Put so directly, Kara can't truly convince herself that it is. "But..."
"It's one evening," Kelly continues gently. "Maybe it goes somewhere, maybe it doesn't. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't let yourself enjoy a night with a woman who is clearly into you."
Kara flushes hot, and she quickly scrambles to correct Kelly's observation.
"Kara, she found a way to not only notify you about the phone, but delivered it herself and *literally* asked you on date." Kelly shoots her a surprisingly stern look.
"Don't do her or yourself a disservice by pretending it's something other than it is."
Resisting for only a moment longer, Kara soon deflates. Kelly's right, and they both know it.
"So what do I do?"
"Enjoy the evening," Kelly responds firmly. "I mean it."
Kara nods, swallowing thickly. "Right."
Kelly's features creases into a smile. "Sorry. Not exactly the outcome you were looking for. But I mean it. You deserve a good time with someone who seems genuinely interested."
In the end, all Kara can do is offer a weak smile. "Thanks." She clears her throat. "I should get going. But... thank you. Truly."
Kelly nods with a sweet smile. "Any time."
---
Fancy, it turns out, really is unhelpful.
Kara ends up an hour later with five different dresses laid out on her bed, chewing her lip in frustration. In the end, Kara falls back on bad habits, and calls her sister.
"Kara?" Alex answers, concern plain in her tone. "Everything okay?"
"I need help," she responds. "I mean yes, I'm fine, but I need help."
"Okaaaaay... what's up?"
Kara trades her worried lip for a cuticle, still glaring at the pile of clothes on her bed. "I have date."
There's a beat of silence before Alex's brain clicks around the information. "You what?? Since when?"
"Ask Kelly," Kara returns distractedly, returning to the topic at hand. "I don't know what to wear."
"Since when did you talk to... what--?" Alex sputters for a moment, then takes a moment to reorient herself. "Okay. Outfit. Fine. Okay, so... what kind of date is it?"
"Dinner."
"Casual?"
"She said fancy. Whatever that means to me." Kara grumbles. "Whatever that means."
"Okayy... so, flexible fancy. Do you know where?"
"Nuh uh."
There's a pause then, as Alex considers Kara's dilemma as thoughtfully as she did a year ago.
"So something nice, maybe upscale. Well, I'm sure you have options that fit the bill."
Kara nods. "Too many."
Across the line, Kara can almost hear Alex ease into a smile. "Well, then it comes down to what *you* want to wear."
"That's why I called, Alex, I don't *know*--"
"What would you feel most confident in? And, what kind of reaction are you looking for?"
The question takes Kara aback for a long moment. She imagines Lena would appreciate whatever Kara shows up in, but strangely, that isn't enough. Not in the face of the desire that still lingered from the soft kiss that had brushed against her cheek that afternoon.
"Honestly...?"
Alex hums. "Yeah?"
"I want her to wonder what it'd look like on the floor."
"....oh." Alex's response sounds thoughtful, but Kara's hackles rise in defense.
"Do *not* tease me," she says sharply.
"I'm not, I promise. Just surprised." Alex takes a breath to say something, but releases it as she chooses a different direction. "Do you still have that dress with the bateau neckline, with the pleats? The peach one?"
Kara nods into the phone, eyeing the garment where it sits in the pile, second from the bottom. "Uh huh."
"That one."
"You think?"
"Trust me," Alex assures her.
Kara does.

You’ve just finished loading the dishwasher when Jace pads into the kitchen and retrieves the orange juice from the fridge, taking a swig directly from the bottle.
You scoff, coming to stand in front of him. “That’s so gross, Jace. We all drink from that. Why don’t you use a cup?”
He slides it back onto the shelf, shutting the stainless-steel door before leaning back against a counter, smirking at you.
“You think me shoving my mouth onto that is gross?”
You flush, shifting your weight from one foot to the other.
“Just use a glass next time,” you reply quietly.
You turn to head back to your room, until Jace grabs your ass, causing you to squeak in surprise.
You swing around, lightly slapping his hand, and he grins.
“What if mom or dad see?” You hiss, barely above a whisper.
He shrugs. “I’m sure one of them would understand. There’s always been those rumors about mom and great-uncle Daemon from when she was around our age.”
You take a step closer, narrowing your eyes at him. “Exactly: rumors. What do you think they’d do if they found out that we’ve been—”
He slides a hand down your arm, interrupting you. “Find out we’ve what? Like neither of them have ever walked in before,” he says sarcastically.
You throw your head back, groaning. “Not since we were little. So, at the time, that was the excuse.”
You level your gaze again. “That we were just young, confused, and experimenting. So we didn’t know it was ‘wrong’.”
Jace takes your hand, twines his fingers between yours, and he leads you back to his bedroom—past the living room where your mom is folding laundry and Joffrey is sitting on the floor watching Bluey.
Luke is currently outside playing while your dad works on the family car.
“Because it wasn’t,” he finally whispers, guiding you down the hall.
Jace shuts his bedroom door behind the two of you and he turns his TV on.
You sit back on the futon pushed against the opposite wall of his room, watching out the window as golden-brown leaves drift down.
“Do you want to stream something, or watch a DVD or blu-ray?” He asks, grabbing the remote from his bedside table.
You shrug. “You choose.”
He sits down beside you then, opening Netflix.
Tumblr media
Half-an-hour later finds Jace lying on his back with you half on-top of him and your face half-hidden against his chest.
“Why’d you have to pick a scary one?” You whine, peeking at the flat-screen from between your fingers.
He slides a hand up your shirt, gently toying with your breast. “So I can do this.”
You roll your eyes. “You can do that without giving me nightmares.”
His lip twitches. “Well, at least this way I’ll get to have you crawling into my bed halfway through the night.”
You lightly shake your head, then gasp quietly. “Oh God, why’d she go in the closet? It’s going to find her!”
Jace snorts, so you pinch his nose in retribution.
“It’s not funny!”
He shifts underneath you then—his erection pressing firmly against your stomach, causing a pleasant warmth to bloom between your thighs. “I think it’s hilarious.”
You slide your hand under his shirt and he hums in interest…until you twist his nipple.
“Ow! Really?” He asks, turning to glare at you.
You then press your lips to his, nodding with a smile. “Mhm.”
He wraps his arms around you then, before turning the two of you until his body is lying wholly on top of your own.
You spread your legs so his pelvis can rest comfortably between them.
You sigh as Jace nips his way down your neck, flicking his tongue against your sensitive skin, and you moan, grinding your hips against his erection, and your twin quietly curses.
You roll your head to the side, looking back to the TV, and your eyes widen. “Jace, I hate this movie. Why’d you—”
You promptly shut your mouth when you feel him tugging your shorts off, choosing to instead watch as he tosses them across the room before he slowly sinks his long fingers between your hot, wet folds.
“Why’d I what?” He asks, circling your clit with his thumb.
Your mind goes fuzzy, unable to concentrate on anything that isn’t Jace, Jace, Jace…
Your eyes flutter closed and you hum happily, smiling warmly at the feel of him. “Nevermind.”
He pushes your—rather, his—t-shirt up, exposing your perfect breasts, and he dips his head, his matching brown curls to your own tickling your skin as he begins to lap at your nipples, gently sucking and rolling them between his teeth while he continues to slowly finger you.
He lifts his head, glancing back to the TV while he slips his free hand under the waistband of his boxers beneath his sweatpants—stroking himself.
“Maybe we’ll watch The Exorcist next,” he says with a grin.
You stare up at him from beneath hooded lids. “I didn’t sleep for two nights last year when you made me watch that one.”
He leans down, brushing his lips over yours. “And think of all the fun we had not sleeping.”
You wrap your arms around his neck, easing your tongue into his mouth, not having a reply, since you know he’s so very right.
It had been a lot of fun.
Everything always is with your twin brother.

You were taking one last look in the mirror when that familiar sound of a rumbling engine echoed out on the street near your front lawn. Your stomach couldn’t help but twist up in a tight knot, your reflection staring back at you, confirming there was no turning back now. Your man was here. He was right outside, and it’d be cruel to make him wait a minute longer. Would it? Or would it be just the right thing. Sixty seconds to settle yourself. Sixty seconds to render your composure and pique his interest simultaneously.
All good things come to those who wait after all.
So you took your time – well as much time as you would allow yourself. Stepping over a lone shoe missing its match and an overall or two, you made your way over to the window to let your man know you’d be out in just a minute. On a night like this, you knew he’d keep the engine running, Itching to get to the club. Itching to get you out of your parents’ hair. Not wanting to waste a single second he could be spending with just you. So, it was only fair when you rolled up the window and hollered his name over the not-so quiet street. The sound of his engine was noisy enough to mask out the hinges of the old window panes attached to your house.
Not wanting to give too much away, you ducked ever-so swiftly as Benny’s head turned in the direction of your sweet voice. Once his eyes landed on you, all he could see was your small head, a mound of honey dewdrop curls planted up on your head like your own personal hive. And then you were holding up a finger, silently telling him to hold on for just a minute, and he of course was complying – still with a sliver of hesitance though. It was unlike you to leave him waiting. Especially on a night like this. A night that didn’t require hitting the hay early for rising school hours. No – it was a Friday night. An oddly warm and buggy Friday night, relevant over the sudden silence of his engine succumbing to the buzzing cicadas.
Mounting off his bike, he settled into a casual lean against it instead. However, his cool demeanor did not match the tumbleweed of thoughts rolling inside his head.
Were your Ma and Pa holding you back? Would they come out to talk to him? Were they finally gonna rip off the bandage and take away the blessing of marrying you he’d been working so hard to maintain?
Pinching his nose between his thumb and forefinger, he let out a much needed breath before fishing for his pack of cigarettes in his pocket. The urge for a smoke was unbearable and warranted, so much so, that when he lit the thing up, took a look around, and really settled with his thoughts, his concerns didn’t feel as daunting as they once were. Upon inspection, your driveway was vacant, empty – confirming that one or both of your parents had to be out on the town or out of it completely. It wasn’t unusual for them to trek to another state for a festival where honey sales were of great interest, and on top of that, well – you didn’t look upset by any means. That had to be a plus there. Could it? He couldn’t recall your smile meeting your eyes through the warm honey light shining from your childhood bedroom against the deep dark night….
He was just about to take another drag when the hinges of your front door squeaked in protest, your silhouetted figure crisp against the hall lamp light. Right before you were about to close the front door completely, you peeked your head back inside, practically cursing yourself as you smacked on the front porch light.
Welp – there was truly no turning back now. Your one minute time stamp was long gone. The hair tie, that you’d already regretted taking out of your hair, was haphazardly tossed on your vanity, and the searing porch light was now burning you like a spot light. The show had begun, and boy were you giving your Benny a show.
He blinked. Once, twice, maybe three times? He wasn’t sure. Hell – how could he keep count when he was looking at you. You – his fiance, top snug in a new denim vest, decked out in patches galore, and bottom – god your bottom – in a matching mini skirt, your smooth honey tanned legs on full display. With your hair scooped down, tossed messily in a side parted wave and your form lacking its usual layers of clothes, his eyes rounded out, jaw slackened, and his pants – well they started to feel real tight around him.
Little did he know you were nervous. Real nervous to come towards him. To be out in such an outfit that was so unlike you. Sure you were known for your signature denim and fun patches, but not like this. Not out of your more appropriate school clothes that consisted of long skirts and dresses, and of course your usual overalls. And hey – there was no denying that you wore shorts every now and then on your days off. The Chicago heat was no joke on those dense warm summer days. Yet there was nothing sunny about tonight, no – not in this darkness where you felt in competition with the moon.
As you walked towards Benny, you couldn’t help but pull your skirt down ever-so slightly, the barely there length making you rather uncomfortable and out of sorts. You could only hope you weren’t mooning your house, let alone your neighbors. The last thing you needed were your parents finding out you left the house with your ass out.
Funnily enough, your worry slipped your mind the moment your eyes landed on Benny. Eyes alight, he looked like a lost puppy, begging for a treat. So much so, that the cigarette dangling between his teeth lost purchase. His jaw so slack from shock, the cylinder tipped right out of his mouth and hit the pavement. You almost laughed. You really almost did, but you bit down on your lip before it could escape you.
You were relieved to say the least, and his reaction alone reminded you why you were doing this in the first place. It wasn’t because you were fishing for his attention. You always had it. Hell – you had him wrapped around your little finger, even if you were too humble and sometimes clueless to really think so.
But here, now – there was a difference. A difference because you were not only trying to reward him for being so good to you, but also because you wanted a little something more from him. Of course you just loved being his fiance, but waiting to get married was taking such a toll on you. You wanted to be his wife sooner rather than later, and it was no help at all that your parents were being sticklers in the matter. Practically ruining your plans of getting hitched anytime soon. It was all this and that of them wanting Benny to prove himself. To show himself worthy to your parents that he would be a good fit for their daughter. You thought it was all rather counter productive. Benny had shown himself worthy to you in many ways, and there was no denying that it perturbed you that your parents didn’t trust your judgment. You were a big girl, a fully grown adult, a whole school teacher, and yet they still treated you like you were a little one.
You didn’t want to be treated like that tonight. No – you wanted to be treated like a wife. His wife.
Benny was in the midst of reaching down for his fallen cigarette, too lovestruck and drunk off your presence to realize it was long gone and better off forgotten. Funnily enough, his peripheral vision was still trained on you, making you realize sooner than later that upon straightening back out, he’d have the perfect view under your skirt. The thought made you blush all over, warming up your insides.
Before his lean fingers could snag the thing, your wedged denim sandal found purchase on the discarded cylinder, the fire burning out as your foot stomped on it. “S’dirty.” You reasoned, those pretty sky blue eyes of his boring up at you in a way that kind-of reminded you of the little school children you worked with. There was an innocence there. One that was only reserved for you, hidden beneath a tough rounded out exterior apparent to everyone else. Yet, it wasn’t all innocent. No — not in the way his features twisted up in desire.
For a second you almost thought he was gonna take you right there and then, a nosedive right up your skirt that you wouldn’t deny. But no — instead you were left wanting, aching as he straightened himself back up, warm calloused fingertips brushing against the small remnants of exposed skin between your vest and skirt, hands materializing at your hips and pulling you in.
“Honey….” He drawled, a fun little whistle rather detached from his usual deep tuned voice spurring out of him. “Wha’ I do to deserve this?” He mused, planting kisses across your neck, erupting you in giggles. “Hm?” He pressed, squeezing your sides sweetly.
In your defense, who could blame you for being tongue tied when he was all over you? Pillowy lips snagging the delicate skin of your neck, soft and sweet. “Is tha’ even a question?” You giggled again as his teeth dragged against your collarbone.
“M’serious…” he murmured into your skin, stifling the growl that was bound to escape him. “S’there a special occasion I dunno ‘bout?” He tried again, but suddenly stiffened. Lips detached from your skin, as well as his warm breath. An indication that he was holding it in. “S’not our anniversary is it? I swore it wasn’t until — fuck, m’sorry Honey did I —“ his words caught in his throat, tangled in a web of self inflicted doubt, and you hated it. Hated seeing him like this, thinking he had done something wrong. Fucked up somehow. But you were quick — so quick in assessing the situation, your hands, fingernails decked out in your usual color of choice — ballet slippers — and Benny’s ring, still snug on your honorary finger since your engagement, circled around his face.
It took him a moment, but his scruffy cheeks relaxed against your palms in an instant when your eyes met his in alarm. “No, baby. Nah. Ain’t an anniversary or nothin’. Just wanted to show y’my love. That’s all.” His pinched brows smoothed out, and you smiled as you watched the worry flee his eyes. “Betty er —“ you began rather shyly, “she uh gave me one of her old vests, y’see?” You explained, dropping your hands from his face and onto the clothing in question. “Johnny’s got her a new one, so she said I could have hers. Deck it out. Do what I wanna with it. So….” You turned on your heel, spinning in a quick circle before sing-songing a, “ta-da!” like you’d do for your students when you had some sort of surprise or good news. Usually it’d be a lollipop for each after an exam. A congratulatory treat for completing such a task!
Your nerves were still running on a high, but you flashed Benny one of your grand smiles as you striked a little pose, jazz hands included.
When it hit you what you were doing, you mentally wanted to curse yourself out for putting on such a childish act. This was all about acting like a wife, not a child! You wanted him to want you just as much as you wanted him, but what kind of motives were this?
Thankfully, your mental battle didn’t last very long. It ended quite quickly the moment his mouth opened and drawled, “Hmm….C’mere. Lemme take a closer look at ya.”
You obliged without question. Without resistance. Without any sort of hesitation. His voice always tickled you to the bone, but this — this! This was something else entirely. Something that sent honey down below in deep measure. So you stepped forward, becoming caged by his observation in an instant. His hands materialized on your hips against the rough denim of your skirt all over again. It was like he was scared you’d walk away before he’d get to really look at the art in front of him, and god were you just a whole masterpiece.
You stayed silent, giving him the space to do as such, but you couldn’t help but watch him as he drank you in from head to toe. His eyes wandered over every patch, and it made your cheeks burn when he spent extra time on the ones that really resembled you. There were the cute little bedazzled bees and a jar of honey of course, but also an apple as a little ode to your teacher status. You stitched some extra flowers you had leftover from when you were sewing patches onto your denim overall dress from school. The one you met Benny in the very first day you saw him.
“Baby….” he hummed in complete approval. “Ya real talented, y’know that? S’good. Too —“ But then his words cut out in the midst of complimenting you, and you knew he finally saw it. The patch that was just the beginning to what the back claimed, but held so much more commitment. More devotion even. In the front, on the left upper side of the vest right over your heart was a patch, shaped in such a way — a heart to be exact — with the words Benny’s Baby stitched right into it. “Wha — What’s this?”
Your heart dropped to your stomach then, worry shooting through your veins as you scrambled to complete your next sentence. “S’just a — a lil’ something. I know you were uh — real hell bent about the ring thing. Getting me a proper one or whatever so…” you trail off, nudging your purse from your shoulder so you could open up it and reveal the contents of your explanation. Benny just stared, watched you like some fascinated kid about to be gifted a candy cigarette for the first time as you took out the matching patch you made for him. One that was more daring, more forward, and far more a symbol of ownership than anything you had on yours, as far as you were concerned. “I uh — I made you one too,” you tumbled out, hands shaking as you held it out for him to see. A similar heart. Rather exact to yours. The catch? It said Honey’s Hubby in your pretty neat stitched cursive. “And look, you don’t have to wear it if you don’t wanna. I know it’s kind of silly and all, but I just thought it could be our thang, y’know? Our promise to each other but again if that’s —“
“Honey, Honey….Honey,” he rumbled out soft, smooth, and sultry, all the same, bringing your rambling to a hault. “Are ya kiddin’ me? Y’think I wouldn’t wear this?” He asked, his thumb rubbing across the indentations the stitching made over and over again. If he could mold his finger print into the embroidery, write those same words repeatedly, eternally to show his devotion, he would.
“Well I, I mean —“ you dropped your hands dramatically at your sides. “The guys….”
“What about ‘em?” Benny pressed, pocketing your creation protectively over his heart before taking a step closer to you. “I don’t care wha’ they think. Don’t care what anybody thinks besides you,” his hand circled your side once more, this time pulling you in so you were chest to chest. “Look, soon when the times right,” he let out a frustrated sigh, clearly targeted towards your parents who weren’t even in the vicinity, ”on paper, in writing, y’gonna be my wife. But right here, right now, fucking on this patch, y’already mine, kay?”
“Mhm,” you nodded, your hands taking purchase on Benny’s vest, fingers trailing down the patches, down until you reached his belt, down down down until his breath caught his throat.
“Honey…” he warned, eyes drooping with heaviness. Heaviness in your desire and his own. It wasn’t that he didn’t want you. Hell — he always fucking wanted you. Only you. But he had made a promise to himself.
To you. For you.
He promised to wait. Wait to have all of you.
He knew he wasn’t a good guy. Knew he’d never be the good guy, but he wanted to be better for you. Do better for you. So, he decided early on — the moment he knew he wanted you to be his wife, that he’d at least do one thing right.
Sure you’d fool around. There wasn’t any way either of you could resist it. Not when Benny’s muscular arms appeared full display when a shirt simply couldn’t be an option on one of those super sweltering days. It’d be a sin not to have your hands all over him, feeling the warmth of his toned sun-kissed skin under your palms. And you — oh you, in one of your pretty little dresses, a rare sight to see on a weekday. Benny’d be kicking himself for weeks on end if he didn’t seize the opportunity, didn’t get to have his skilled calloused fingers up and under your skirt.
“Wha?” You asked innocently with batting lashes.
He didn’t move away from your touch, but stilled yours, his large hand encircling both your smaller ones hugging onto his belt loop. “Y’know we can’t….” He murmured, vibrated even. His words didn’t match what he wanted. You could tell in the way his bottom lip turned crimson as he bit down through all his restraint, and his eyes burned darker in the pale moonlight. And of course you could tell by the obvious bulge that was forming rather apparently in his jeans.
“Not right nowwww…” you trailed, pulling on the reins of his belt loop so you could be closer. “Lata, after the club. My parents ain’t home for the rest of the weekend. Won’t be home until Monday. So…Y’know what that meansss?”
“So that’s why y’dolled up like this?” He huffed, a big toothed smile in pure disbelief stretching across his gorgeous features. A rare sight to see. So rare that you almost thought you imagined his eyes crinkling at the edges in pure amusement. “To get me inta y’bed?”
Embarrassment dusted your cheeks in red heat. So hot, it left you shy in the wake of your motives. “S’not just —“ you stammered, trying to find the right words to say what you truly felt.
But you were frustrated. So frustrated. And Benny well — he was sure to fix that. Sure to get that stubborn crease out between your brows that waa forming in pure stress. “If that wha’ y’wanted, baby. Y’coulda just asked.” He mused, lips pressing against the curve of your neck, right near a sensitive spot he knew worked you up. “As much as I love all this,” he whispered, the warmth of his breathe sending a shiver down your spine as his hands traveled down your silhouette, “Y’could be wearin’ a potato sack, and I’d still find ya sexy.”
You understood what he meant, and you appreciated it. You really did. But that wasn’t the point. The point was much more emotional, more intense, more meaningful, and you weren’t gonna let it slip way. “S’not just about gettin’ ya in my bed,” you started, your lips parting and almost making you lose your train of thought as his lips edged the side of your ear. Your hands moved up the plains of his chest and you pushed him back ever-so slightly.
His lips detached from your skin in an instant and those pretty blue eyes of his locked with yours in complete attentiveness. “Then wha’ is it, Honey?”
“I know y’say I’m already yours, and I believe ya I really do, but,” you sighed, “why doesn’t it feel that way?”
“Wha — wha d’ya mean?” He asked, fingers pressing into your sides in a way that made you know he was the one gettin’ frustrated now. Frustrated that he could lose you. That you could just slip between his fingertips.
Reassuring him, you slipped your hands upward, looping them behind and around his neck lovingly. “I mean…I’m tired, baby. Tired of waitin’ to be your wife. And I’m sick of my Ma and Pa thinkin’ they can control us. Control what we want. Control our lives. Why let ‘em? When have you — Mister doesn’t let anybody tell ‘em what to do— follow the rules?”
You had a point. Benny knew that. It was rather out of character for him to be a goody-to-shoes, if you will, but this — this was different. This was him showing his honor. His dedication to you. Similarly to how he would to the club. Deep down you knew that too.
“I am too,” Benny admitted, his fingers relaxing against you, his admission draining the tension from his body. “As much as I’d like ta marry ya right ‘bout now, the courthouses ain’t open, and I know it’d break Betty’s lil’ heart if we went off and got hitched with all the plannin’ she’s up to.”
“Oh no — i know. I know we can’t do that right now crazy,” you laughed lightly before getting serious, “And y’know I’d neva’ do that to her. Neva eva.”
“Mhm,” he hummed, eyes never leaving you.
“I just wanna be close to you. That’s all. Never feel — never feel close enough, y’know?” Now you were the one with an admission.
Benny’s features softened in an instant, shoulders slumping against your arms. You could feel his resolve slipping in the seconds that slipped by your words. He went silent for a minute. Just a minute. Sixty seconds that had the gears turning in his head. But sixty seconds that would change everything once they were through. He knew you were right about the rules. He wasn’t one to follow them anyways, and besides in the long run would it really hurt to break just this one a bit? A bit for you who was wanting to do just the same.
You who was begging to be his wife.
If it was so wrong then why did it feel so right?
“Y’wanna be closer to me? Wanna feel what it’s really like to be married, baby?” He said suddenly, taking you off guard.
He pulled you in closer, and your heart leaped in your chest. “Yes,” you said as confidently as you could.
“Then when the club’s through, I’ll stay the night and you’ll have me, ‘kay?” The words you were longing to hear had come into frusion.
Your disbelief and pure surprise made you eager to confirm they were real. “Oh Benny! Are y’sure?” You asked, practically jumping up and down.
“M’sure,” Benny laughed lightly, his heart warming at the sight of you in genuine happiness. “As y’said, when have I ever followed the rules?”
“Hm…Tha’ my Benny…” you murmured before his lips captured yours in a searing passionate kiss.
You were so wrapped in one another, not realizing how long you were standing there, that it took one of the neighbor’s lights turning on through their window in your peripheral vision for you to pull apart.
“We should go,” Benny said breathlessly. His lips were swollen and puffy with a thin sheen of your lip gloss now coating ‘em. You had to stifle a laugh when you reached up and wiped the excess off with your thumb.
You nodded in agreement, turning with him to mount the bike, but at the last second you stopped in your tracks. “Wait Benny! I forgot to show you the back.” You exasperated, stepping back.
“Hm?” He hummed in confusion, not leaving his spot on the bike, mounted and ready to go as he looked at you.
“The vest!” You explained, spinning on your heel and revealing the back. In the center, around the usual Outlaws Chicago emblem, instead of a skull in the center, you replaced it with a patch that said, Property of Benny.
You stood there for a minute. Sixty seconds in your pose, and just when you were about to open your mouth and ask if he liked it, did you suddenly feel those all too familiar arms circle around you and hold you up in the air. “Benny!” You squealed when your feet were no longer against the pavement dangling in the air.
“That’s it,” he groaned, before swooping up your feet bridal style and walking across the grass.
“Benny! What’re ya doing?” Your eyes widened in surprise as you watched him walk you in the opposite direction of the bike. To your front door. “Wha’ about the club?” You probbed again frantically.
“Club can wait.” He said simply. “Actin’ married can’t.”
That was all it took — well that and his lips molding against yours, silencing every thought you ever had once the door closed behind you two and you ended up doing just what you intended.
Actin’ married.
Because even if it wasn’t legal yet, you were bound together spiritually by your feelings and actions alone.
You became his, and he became yours on a randomly warm night under the pale moonlight.

Kiss ask box thngy
skizzpulse 18 - an “impulse”ive kiss and/or 21 - a kiss to shut them up >:3
These two have been eating away at my brain recently omfg. Sorry this isn’t my best work it was written at 2am while deliriously tired!!!
Skizz/Impulse - #18 & 21, an impulsive kiss and a kiss to shut them up.
WC: 461 || original post!
—————
Impulse wakes up to the redstone of his door opening. He checks his communicator, blinking from the harsh light to see it’s the middle of the night. Who is coming over at this hour?
As if on cue, his bedroom door opens to reveal Skizz. The angel looks rather disheveled- his wings messy and pajamas wrinkled. He sits up and rubs his eyes, “Skizz?”
He looks to the floor guiltily, “Sorry, I- I can go I just…”
Despite being tired he smiles the best he can. Impulse waves him over sluggishly. This isn’t a common occurrence, but it’s certainly not a new one.
They’ve done this time and time again in their hardcore worlds. Sometimes one of them needs the comfort of having the other close, and that comfort will always be provided. After many years of that time having to be over a call, on Hermitcraft they share a bed more often than not. He doesn’t mind though- waking up wrapped in a mess of limbs and feathers is something he’s grown to love.
Which is why it’s concerning that Skizz has sat on the edge of the bed instead of lying down. He looks nervous and his wings are twitching - Impulse has to stop himself from reaching out to fix them.
Impulse is used to being able to read Skizz like a book, but he can’t quite tell what’s going on here. It’s worrying.
“What’s wrong?” He asks, sitting up to face the other.
Skizz takes a deep breath, “I need to tell you something. But you might hate me after,”
He blinks. “I’d never hate you, what’s got your feathers in a bunch?”
The angel looks as if he’s on the verge of tears. “I like you. Not like, in a friend way, like actually like. But you’re my buddy and I don’t want to lose you, and-“
It’s as if the world has slowed down. He likes Impulse?
The realization hits him like a truck, his face immediately heating up like it’s on fire.
The rambling comes back into focus as he snaps out of it. “…If you want me to leave, which I’m sure you do, I can head out, I-“
Impulse cuts Skizz off with a chaste kiss on the lips. He isn’t thinking, all he knows is Skizzleman likes him and he needs Skizz as close to him as possible right now or he will explode.
His senses come back to him a moment after. “Shoot, I’m sorry, I should’ve asked, you were just rambling and..” The words in his mouth die off when Skizz breaks into a smile and is looking at him as if he just raised the sun.
All the anxiety shuts up at once as he’s pulled into another kiss.

hockey!peter how is it when bug spends the night for the first time because I feel like peter would kinda be like not down for a sleepover at first ? or is that just me
bug spending the night at peter's wasn't intentional. it was the result of intense hate sex that caused the both of them to become so exhausted that they passed out.
it was definitely awkward the morning after though.
✩✩✩
the sun coming from the open curtains woke you up, your eyebrows scrunching in exhaustion. feeling the sheets under you, you eventually bump into another body. tensing, you look over to peter fucking parker next to you, completely naked.
retracting your hand as carefully and quiet as possible, you slowly get out of bed. your jeans are on the floor, along with your socks, shoes, and bra.
no way i just fucked peter parker.
you hear shuffling as you put your legs into the demin, looking over your shoulder, peter's half awake form is looking back at you. "didn't know you were the one night stand type of girl," he yawns.
"i'm not," you look for your shirt, "i'll see you at class. you made me late to my lab that started fifteen minutes ago."
peter finds one of his shirts on the foot of his bed and tosses it towards you, making you look back at him in confusion. he knows it's not your shirt, but he doesn't care, "just take it."
hopping to put on your shoes, you begin to open his bedroom door before turning back to him. "i still hate you, by the way. this doesn't mean anything," you mutter.
his hands come behind his head, a content sigh leaving his lips, "yeah, yeah. i'll see you tomorrow, bug."

Sharing Part IX | Eli/Reader
Summary: Eli reminds you who's who when you accidentally say the wrong name.
Tumblr media
Read now on Ao3 or below the cut:
Although you were missing Lionel already, you were excited to see Eli again after six months away from him. Your flight landed quite late at night, so when the taxi pulled up at your house and you lugged your suitcase to the front door, the lights were already off, and Eli undoubtedly asleep.
You were exhausted after such a long flight, and you’d not slept on the plane in an effort to stave off jet lag, so as soon as the door closed behind you, you left your suitcase in the hall and zombie-walked to the bedroom, pausing only to strip down to your underwear, then climbed into bed and promptly fell asleep.
When Eli woke up, he forgot momentarily that you were due back, and his grumpiness at being woken by his alarm was mitigated when he rolled onto his back and found a gorgeous woman sleeping next to him.
He smiled smugly and wrapped an arm around your waist. You instinctively backed up into him, and his morning wood pressed into your ass. God, he’d missed this. Letting a grad student blow him for a good grade was fine, but no one could get him aroused like you could.
You were still asleep, but Eli had no intention of letting that stop him. He pawed lazily at your breast, his cock grinding against your ass in an effort to get a bit of relief. For six months he’d been jerking off in the morning, using the sexy pics you’d sent him to spur himself on, but now he had the real thing, and boy was he gonna enjoy it.
Hoping to wake you up, Eli pinched your nipple, and you let out a squeak. He grinned.
Your eyes were still closed, but Eli saw you smile, and he knew you were awake. He pinched you again, and you sleepily tried to bat his hand away. Eli let go of your nipple and took your breast in his hand instead, massaging it as he savoured the feeling of having his hand full of your tits again.
You stirred a little more. That’s it, Eli thought. Wake up and let me fuck you, [Y/n]…
“Lionel…”
Eli froze.
“You did not just fucking say that.”
Your eyes opened then and darted around, your brow furrowed in confusion, then landed on him and you smiled as you recognised him.
“Mmm, Eli… I forgot I’d come back…”
 “Yeah, you clearly fucking did.”
He rolled on top of you, pinning you face-down into the mattress, and you grunted as he winded you slightly.
“You’re not with your rich lover boy now, slut. You’re back with the boring old Chemistry professor. Sorry to disappoint.”
“‘M sorry, I’m still half asleep,” you mumbled against the pillow.
Eli slapped your ass, and you let out a yelp.
“That wake you up? This is Eli, by the way.”
“Shut up, I know who you are. C’mon, babe, lemme see you properly —”
You tried to roll onto your back, but Eli dropped his entire weight on you, leaving you squashed between him and the mattress, your face only just turned to the side enough to breathe.
“I was so looking forward to a nice morning embrace with my girlfriend after not seeing her for six months, but I guess I gotta fuck some sense into you first, huh?”
You scoffed. “Like you weren’t gonna fuck me anyway.”
“I don’t need you to get off,” Eli snarled, knowing full well it was a lie. He squeezed your ass, feeling for bruises Lionel might have left behind, and slapped you again when he found a nice tender spot.
“What, you’d rather your hand than me? I doubt that,” you teased, getting more and more frustrated by the second that he wouldn’t let you turn over to see him properly. You hadn’t even kissed him yet!
“Mmm, or a grad student’s mouth. They don’t say another man’s name when my cock’s in their throats.”
You grunted in surprise when he took hold of your thighs and spread them apart, giving himself plenty of room to get between your legs. He released one thigh to free his hand to shove between your legs, fingers diving greedily into your warmth, and he laughed at you when he felt that you were wet already, easily letting him slide his digits in and out of your cunt.
“Don’t - don’t exaggerate, Eli,” you grunted, trying not to give away how his aggressive fingering was already driving you crazy. “Those girls don’t know how to open their throats wide enough to get your stupid cock in there.”
“Mhm, that’s true. Only a slutty throat like yours can take me all the way. When did Lionel last blow his load down there, huh?”
“In the - in the car on the way to the airport.”
Eli scoffed. “Of course. Bye, honey, I love you - by the way, can I get one last blowjob?”
He curled his fingers inside you, and you squealed, your legs twitching involuntarily.
“Right, that’s enough pretending I give a shit about foreplay. I gotta get my dick in that cunt.”
Eli grabbed your hips and pulled, forcing your ass in the air. He finally got a good look at it, Lionel’s bruises fading now but ready to be replaced by his. Your asshole stared at him teasingly, but he decided to leave that for when he had time to fuck you for as long as he wanted. Right now, he had to get to his lecture soon, so he dove straight into your pussy, his cock sliding in as easily as if it had never left.
“Mhm, Eli…” you groaned, and he smirked with satisfaction.
“That’s it — you know whose cock is whose, huh?”
“Oh, I can tell when it’s your cock, babe. Yours is bigger.”
Eli lowered himself over you, and you could feel his breath against your ear.
“You just saying that to butter me up, sweetheart? ‘Cus I don’t appreciate being lied to, you know that.”
“Nah, it’s true. Lionel’s fucking big, but you’re bigger. Now, you gonna put that massive cock to good use or not?”
“As you wish, sweetheart.”
Fuck, he felt good. His balls slapped against your clit with each thrust, and there was something about the frustrated, aggressive way he fucked you that went straight to your core. His fingers dug into your hips as he held you tight, as if worried you’d try to slip away.
“God, I fucking missed this. Did you miss me?” Eli panted.
“You know I did, Daddy. Missed - missed your cock so much - fuck, yes, Eli…”
“Good girl. Now you know who you’re with, huh? You know just whose cock is in your tight cunt.”
“Mhm, Eli, Eli…” you mumbled, your brain filled with nothing but him, the pleasure he was giving you, and the sound of his desperate pants as he fucked you harder.
“I hope Lionel didn’t fuck the respect out of you, slut,” Eli said between grunts. “I am a doctor, you know.”
“So am I!” you insisted, but Eli just wrapped a hand around your throat, squeezing slightly, just enough to make you gag.
“And yet you surrender to me so easily, Dr [L/n]. You should be fucking grateful that you get to fuck me. I’m a Nobel Laureate - best mind in my field, don’t you know? So you’d better treat me with some fucking - respect - fuck, that’s it, squeeze my cock - milk me dry —”
“Eli…”
“That’s Dr Michaelson to you, slut. Call me by my proper title and I might let you cum.”
You might be a brat, but he knew you couldn’t resist an order when you were so close to orgasm, and all your impertinence fell away when he had you on the edge.
“Oh fuck, yes - yes, that feels so good - oh, Dr Michaelson - please —”
You wished you could see his face. He always looked so deliciously deranged when he was fucking you this furiously, every inch of his face etched with a mixture of anger and pleasure. Instead, you made do with feeling his skin against yours, his cock thrusting inside you, and the sound of his desperate grunts.
“Who’s in charge here? Huh?”
“You are,” you whined. You could feel your orgasm building, but you knew he wouldn’t give it to you until he was satisfied he’d fully reminded you of your place. “You’re in charge, Daddy. I’m all - all yours - fuck, Eli, please, I gotta cum!”
“Dr Michaelson,” Eli growled in your ear, and you groaned in frustration.
“Dr Michaelson, please, let me cum. I need - need to cum - need to milk your cock dry, please…”
Eli chuckled derisively.
“Such a desperate little slut. Alright, then. Show me how well you can milk me, Dr [L/n].”
He reached around your waist to flick his finger against your clit, and it was mere moments before you were cumming around his cock, crying out with pleasure into the pillow, and it was only when he was sure you’d ridden the aftershock of your orgasm that Eli let himself go, his hips slamming into yours with one final thrust as he groaned, his cock filling you up with his seed as he finally reached the climax he could only get with you.
Panting, Eli pulled out of you and rolled onto his back. You were relieved to finally be able to move, but even more relieved to be able to turn to him and look at him properly.
“God, you’re fucking gorgeous,” you said as you looked up at him, and you meant it. His hair was a mess, his brow was dripping with sweat, and he looked exhausted. And it was fucking glorious.
Eli put an arm around you and held you close, his eyes closed as he caught his breath. He opened them and looked down at you, and grinned when he saw that you were just as sweaty and exhausted as he was.
“Mhm, I must be, ‘cus you’re gorgeous and I’m fucking you.”
“I missed you,” you purred, nuzzling his neck. You heard him chuckle and he wrapped his arms securely around you.
“Missed you too, sweetheart.” He kissed the top of your head. “God, I wanna cancel today’s lectures. Maybe I’ll just stay here and fuck you all day instead.”
“And deprive your students of the wisdom of the great Dr Michaelson? You wouldn’t dare,” you teased, looking up at him with a mischievous look in your eye. “Besides - I gotta get to the faculty meeting this afternoon to discuss next semester. Otherwise I would gladly stay here and fuck all day.”
“How ‘bout we get takeout tonight? Rent a movie and not watch it while you suck me off.”
“God, that sounds like Heaven,” you said with a dreamy smile. You kissed his shoulder, then rolled onto your back to let him up.
Groaning his protestations at having to get up, Eli rolled out of bed and trudged into the bathroom. You, meanwhile, not having any obligations until the afternoon, stayed in bed, your face pressed into Eli’s pillow. You smiled as the scent of him filled your nostrils.
Eli emerged from the bathroom to get dressed and had to resist every instinct in his body that was screaming at him to get back in bed with you. You were so tempting lying there, a cute little smile on your face as you held his pillow. You were back where you belonged, in his bed, and he was going to make the most of every moment with you over the next six months.
He had to turn away from you to get dressed, otherwise he really would just get back into bed, as much as he loved his job. He loved imparting his knowledge onto the eager students, he loved experimenting in the lab, and he loved it when a desperate student would crawl between his legs and suck him off instead of studying.
That last part would have to go, though. All the girls he was fucking were graduating this year, and he had no desire to be with anyone else when you were around. How you’d managed to control his philandering dick, he had no idea — maybe it was the fact that you let him do it that made it less appealing. Or maybe he’d finally met his match — after all, you hardly ever turned him down when he wanted to initiate. He’d always had a high sex drive, one his ex-wife Sarah had never been able to keep up with, but you were plenty able to keep up with him. Even better, you worked at the same college, so you were pretty much always around for him when he needed you.
If only he’d spent 20 years married to you instead. He’d loved Sarah - even with all the women he’d fucked on the side, she was the only one he’d ever loved - but she was nothing compared to you. He’d do anything for you. Hell, he’d once flown 5,000 miles on a whim because he was terrified of losing you to Lionel Shabandar. He couldn’t say he’d ever have done that for Sarah.
As Eli buttoned up his shirt, he glanced at you in the mirror. From the way you were breathing steadily, he strongly suspected you’d already fallen back asleep.
He smiled to himself. Leaving you in bed while he went to work was torture, but he’d take that every day over waking up without you. Hell, he’d even take leaving you in bed with Lionel if it meant he could wake up next to you at all.
He didn’t want to keep passing you back and forth every six months. He wanted you every day, and if he had to share you with Lionel, he would.
He wanted to marry you.
He knew you’d never agree. Marriage was monogamy, and it was clear you weren’t built for that. Neither was he, and nor was Lionel for that matter. But still, he loved you, and he wanted to call you his wife.
“You’re gonna be late,” your voice mumbled from the pillow.
Eli chuckled.
“I got the best reason to be,” he replied. “Sorry I’m late, class, I was fucking my girlfriend. She just got back from six months of fucking another guy and I had to remind her whose cock is better.”
You snort-laughed, and your phone went off. You rolled over and grabbed it from the spot on the floor you’d thrown it when getting undressed the night before.
“Is that him now?”
You hummed the affirmative, blinking the sleep out of your eyes as you read Lionel’s texts.
Lionel: Did your flight get in okay? You: Yep. Headed home now. Going straight to sleep. 😴 Lionel: I doubt Eli will allow that. You: He’ll be fast asleep by now. I’m sure he’ll say hello in his own way in the morning.
Lionel: Good morning. I’m just about to go to sleep. Everything okay?
You texted your reply:
You: I may have said your name in my sleep… Lionel: Of course you did 😉 I bet Eli loved that. You: I think he’s still pissed at me. Lionel: You can always come back. Clearly you want to.
“I’m going now, if you care,” Eli called from the door.
“Nooo!” you whined, putting your phone down so you could make grabbing motions towards him. “Kisses first!”
Eli rolled his eyes, though he smirked at your eagerness for his attention, and crossed the room to lean down and give you a passionate kiss. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, trying to pull him back into the bed, but he was stronger than you and reluctantly stood his ground.
“I’ll see you later, sweetheart. Love you.”
“Love you too, Eli.”
He gave you one last kiss, gentler this time, then straightened his shirt and made his way out the door before he could succumb to the temptation of staying in bed with you.
Your phone buzzed again.
Lionel: I miss you.
You smiled.
You: I miss you too. Good night ❤️

— i think i like when it rains • l.hs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— rainy mornings with boyfriend!heeseung.
warnings: none.
wc: 0.7k.
YOU WOKE UP TO A QUIET PATTER AGAINST your window, your bedroom that was usually filled with hues of golden from the sun peaking through the seams of the curtains in the early morning now left dim, a gloomy yet cozy atmosphere in place.
And you would have felt at peace, had you not felt the empty space in bed beside you. Robbed of the warmth you felt in the arms of your lover all night as you slept peacefully.
You sighed as you sat up, the comforter pooling around your waist whilst you brushed your hair out of your face and rubbed your tired eyes.
Eventually, dragging yourself out of bed, met with a slight chill lingering in the air of your shared apartment. To fix this, you reached for a familiar hoodie slung over the back of a chair settled into the nook of your desk. His, to be exact.
Slipping the soft fabric over your frame, you trudged through your apartment, leaving the bedroom behind. It appeared as though your timing was perfect, as the front door clicked open and shut, rustling filling your ears as you rounded the corner of the hallway.
Lee Heeseung stood at the entryway, clutching onto a paper bag in one hand and a drink carrier in the other, doing his best to slip off his shoes handlessly.
With a quiet, breathy laugh, your eyes softened as you drew closer, finally capturing his attention as he peered up upon hearing your voice — still filled with the remnants of sleep.
“Do you need help?” You asked in a quiet murmur, watching as a gentle smile crept up onto his lips and he shook his head no, managing on his own as he walked over to set the goods down on the kitchen counter.
“Good morning, love,” Heeseung greeted quietly once he finally had free hands, arms reaching out to draw you closer until you were settled comfortably against his chest.
“Morning.” You replied, a sigh of content falling from your lips as you were faced with the warmth of his embrace yet again.
He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss on the top of your head before pulling away just enough to get a good look at you.
“I was trying to come home before you woke up. You ruined my top secret plan.” He huffed jokingly, feigning annoyance with a subtle scrunch of his nose as you chuckled and hummed, tilting your head.
“Yeah?” You let out, raising a brow. “What top secret plan are we talking about?”
Heeseung smiled cheekily, pulling out of the hug he had initiated completely and ruffling your hair. His hand wrapped around yours, giving it a soft squeeze as he pulled you to the kitchen counter.
“To surprise you with breakfast in bed. Thought it’d be nice, and you deserve it.” He said, gesturing towards the bag filled with your favorite pastries and the small cups filled with coffee, purchased from a local coffee shop just down the block.
You nodded your head silently, gaze averting back over to him. Evidence of his brief outing resided in small droplets of rain that fell over his frame, soaked into the fabric of his navy blue sweatshirt.
“Thank you.” You spoke gently, wrapping your arms around him as you leaned up to press a soft kiss to his cheek. “You’re sweet.” You added on, as he returned your embrace, swaying you from side to side.
“Of course, ____.” He mumbled, your name falling from his lips ever so lightly, uttered out in the softest voice he could muster. “You only deserve the best, after all.”
“I’ll tell you what,” He began, head tilted off to the side as his eyes were filled with adoration and warmth. “It’s still quite early, isn’t it? So why don’t we eat breakfast, and go back to sleep for a little while longer?” He proposed.
“That sounds nice.” You agreed, welcoming the suggestion with ease as he hummed, cupping your cheeks in his hand and leaning down to peck your lips.
“Perfect.” Heeseung mumbled, flashing yet another of his loving smiles your way, making your heart flutter like you had fallen all over again.
That same morning, you found yourself wrapped up in bed all over again, your legs subtly tangled with another as he had you pulled close, a guiding hand laying your head against his chest.
You nestled closer, listening to the rhythmic patter of the rain that pushed up against the windows.
It was that moment forward that you declared rainy mornings with Lee Heeseung were the best.

hellooo !! thank you so much for reading.
truthfully, i didn't plan on publishing anything on this platform to begin with but i have suddenly got a spark of motivation, so i've been planning out a few things here and there to eventually publish.
unfortunately, this oneshot is not very ideal for me as i feel as though it's a bit sloppy and repetitive, but i wanted to quickly piece something together to put out just to test the waters whilst i plan out detailed and overall better stuff.
of course, i'll be taking requests as well. so if you would like to read anything specific for any (enhypen) member, feel free to drop it in the asks ^^
obviously, given that i am still unfamiliar with the layout of this app, the aesthetics for this oneshot and my profile as a whole are not very appealing at all, but i plan to revamp soon ! 😭🙏
anyway, once again, thank you for reading. much love !! xox 🤍

Ghost x f!reader roommates
Something random and simple. I hope yall enjoy.
Imagine being woken up to a soft knock at your bedroom door. You look over at your phone, it’s 3 am. It’s not usual for Simon to be up this late, but it is unusual for him to wake you.
You get up and slowly make your way to the door. Turning the knob and cracking the door ever so slightly. You are met with a sleepy Simon, one of his burly arms propped against the door frame. His hand framing the top of his face as his chin is tucked downward to look at you. The soft glow of your TV caress his features. Capturing every curve, contour and glimmer in his muddy eyes. You stare up at him, rubbing the sleepy out of one eye. Keeping one eye on his.
“Si, what’s wrong?” You ask. Your voice lowered in tone as your sleepy hazy mind slowly awakes.
“I thought you still up and I-“ Simon stops mid sentence. His hand leaving his forehead as he stands straight up.
Confusion over takes your face, suddenly you are awake. What could be wrong? Something must be wrong.
“Simon, seriously what’s wrong?” Your ask, voice laced with concern as you stand up straighter and tilt your head.
Simon stands straight up with one hand placed in the door. He slowly starts to push your door open.
“Y/N…… is that my shirt?” He asks. One eyebrow cocked and a smirk slowly forming on his lips.
Your eyes widen like a deer in the headlights. There you stood, in Simon’s shirt. In only Simon’s shirt.
“Well I- I- I found it in my laundry and I was going to-“ you try to stumble out some form of excuse as you have been caught red handed.
You have one of Simon’s shirts to sleep in and have been hiding it for months. Yes, you had undeniable feelings for your roommate. Your incredibly attractive, sweet, caring, manly roommate. But taking his shirt was more of a comfort thing. On those nights where you felt so alone. You would always wear Simon’s shirt to bed as it felt like he was right there holding you in his large embrace.
Yes, He too had undeniable feelings for you as well. His beautiful, smart, warm-hearted, golden lighted roommate. Seeing you wear his shirt was something out of one of his day dreams. The shirt so large on your small frame, exposing your perfect legs, your hair in a messy bun, and sleep over taking those gorgeous eyes.
“It’s ok love, keep it. You can come steal my clothes anytime. Go back to sleep now” he chuckled as he leaned in, gripping the back of your neck and laid a tender kiss on top of your head.
Heat rose to your cheeks as you were so embarrassed. Eyes still wide from being caught, as well as the shock of Simon touching you. He’s never laid a kiss upon you nor has he even grazed your fingertips in passing. He was always just the roommate.
Pulling away from your tiny body, he gave you a devilish smile and a wink before disappearing into the dark hallway to his room. You were frozen in your spot, door still wide open. You hear his shut and a subtle “I said go to bed, my love” from the other side of the wall. His voice deep and husky, it made you jump a little .
With your lips still parted in shock, you scramble to shut the door and scurry to bed. Heart beating out of your chest and in between your thighs. How ever will you face him at breakfast in the morning? How do I get Simon’s lips back on me?

It’s past midnight and you’re sitting inside a safe house, deep in the suburbs staring at the Sylvester Stallone’s frozen features on the TV in front of you because you are positive you can hear someone tip toeing in the hallway outside your assigned bedroom.
It’s a second later you hear Stuart’s light rap on the door. It opens to reveal the man himself standing there in a navy blue t-shirt and plaid pyjama bottoms. You remember the nights where he wore nothing but black Calvin Klein boxers that clung to him in a way that was almost unholy.
Having a son has changed your ex-husband in ways you never could have imagined. After watching his interactions with Jack you can see he’s softer these days, more patient. There’s a joy in him that you know you never could have given him, even if you had stayed together and Jack hadn’t come along.
You expected it to hurt more, being around the two of them but instead of pain you’re plagued by a sense of wistfulness. You made the right decision by leaving. Your guilt and your bitterness over your condition wouldn’t have created a healthy environment for Jack to step into and he needed support at the time, he needed love and stability. You would have only brought turbulence.
“Can’t sleep?” You ask Stuart and he shakes his head as he leans in the doorway, unwillingly to cross some unseen boundary. Even now he’s thinking of you, of the stress this situation must be causing you. “Wanna watch Tulsa King with me?”
“Is it as bad as it sounds?” He asks as he steps over the threshold, watching as you shift the pillows against the headboard for him.
“It’s pretty fun.” You tell him, resetting the series to the first episode.
“Under the sheets?” He questions, gesturing at the quilt. “Or over?”
You know what he’s really asking.
Do you want me close? Or do you need space?
“I don’t mind.” You tell him honestly.
He climbs under the sheets with you, his shoulder bumping against yours and you’re taken back to last night, the two of you tangled up in one another in a hotel room before he’d received that phone call telling him he needed to leave. You know he must be thinking about it too from the way he unconsciously plays with his ring finger.
“It doesn’t hurt-” You find yourself saying into the space between you. “-seeing you with Jack. I thought it would but it doesn’t.”
“I worried.” He admits, tilting his head so he can study your features. “About what it would do to you being cooped up like this with us. I half expected to find you climbing out the window because you couldn’t take it anymore.”
You laugh then because it’s certainly something you would have considered in the past.
“The old Sasha definitely would have.” You tell him the edges of your mouth tipping up into a smile. “But this Sasha, the one that’s had time and therapy to deal with her issues, not so much. Besides I’m getting too old to shimmy down drainpipes.”
It’s his turn to laugh and you’ve forgotten just how much you love that sound.
“Did it help?” He asks you, rolling into his side and you mirror his posture so the two of you are face to face. “Taking some space, getting some distance?”
“It did.” You tell him as you prop you head up on the pillow. “I wasn’t as focused on the problem, I could look at it objectively in a way I couldn’t when I was here in New York.”
Stuart nods his head in understanding, before he reaches out and tucks an errant strand of hair back behind your ear.
“I’ve told everyone that I was fine for the past two years.” He tells you, his thumb tracing over the blush of your cheek. “And then you walked back into my life and I realised I wasn’t, not really. I was just existing but I wasn’t actually living. I was just being what he needed because I had to be, my life became about him because the rest of it… it’s empty.”
You understand exactly what he means. You’ve enjoyed every single one of your new experiences over the past few years but there’s still this void inside of you, this space that can only be filled by the man who lies across from you.
“I’m back in New York now.” You tell him, your lips brushing over his pulse point as you clasp his palm to your cheek. “They offered me a position setting up a training hub here in the city so maybe we could try again, see where that leads us.”
He smiles then and the expression on his handsome features, it just lights up your entire world even after all these years.
“Oh Sasha.” He whispers as he leans in close, his lips brushing over yours. “That’s the best news I’ve heard all day.”

(Do The) Act Like You Never Met Me
enjoy my 1,696 word fic ^_^ will be working on a request + others soon..
——————————————————-
Fiddleford’s eyes darted around the room, his mind racing a million miles a minute. His eyes met the clock on the wall. 1:04 AM.

“I can’t ever sleep anymore.” Fidds muttered, sighing as he got out of bed. His mind was ridden with anxiety; it consumed his every waking moment these days. Ever since he began helping his college "buddy,"  Stanford Pines, his life began falling apart.

In college, things were much different, Stanford paid much more attention to Fidds than he did now. Fiddleford didn’t recognize the man he was living with. Ford was harsh, yelling at Fiddleford when the smallest mistake would occur. He had never seen Stanford so anxious and fearful in his life as when the portal didn’t operate the first time.

To make matters worse? Stanford was beginning to push Fiddleford to the side, claiming he was “busy gathering information” while meditating on the floor. Fiddleford felt invisible. Why was this portal more important than Fiddleford? Why didn’t his feelings matter?

“FIDDLEFORD!” Stanford burst into the mechanics bedroom, jumping slightly as he saw Fiddleford was already awake.

“Oh, Good! You’re awake! I need you downstairs working on the portal STAT. I’ve figured out what was prohibiting it from functioning.” Ford quickly took notice that Fidds was in his pajamas.

“Ah, well, you’ll probably want to get dressed.” Ford shifted his eyes, looking a tad embarrassed. Fidds sighed and looked at Ford, his face painted with annoyance.

“It’s the middle of the night, Stanford.” Fidds huffed; he looked at Ford closely; the man’s eyes were bloodshot.

“Have you not been sleepin’ again?” Fidds voice was filled with sincere concern. Ford had been doing this for months now; he wouldn’t eat, he wouldn’t sleep, he’d disappear for hours. This wasn’t like him.

“That’s..Irrelevant!” Stanford quickly replied, he turned around and left the room, leaving Fiddleford with a pit of dread in his stomach.

Fidds got dressed into his lab attire and made his way through the halls of their shared home. At one point, it felt warm and kind in there. Now, it felt cold and hurtful. He began walking down the steps and into the lab, seeing the man he held so dear muttering to himself. It was almost as if he were speaking with someone.

“Stanford? Who are ya talkin’ to?” Fidds called out, his anxiety slowly rising. Stanford had a habit of doing this, talking like someone’s there. Fiddleford wished he would talk to him as much as he talked to himself.

“Ah, nobody, nobody!” Stanford turned around swiftly, smiling at Fiddleford.

“Here’s my notes on what went wrong; I trust that you can follow them accordingly.” He gave a thumbs up, patting Fidds on the back before scribbling something down in his journal.

Fiddleford looked down at the notepad, the writing seemed... strange. Ugly, chicken scratch writing was on the page. This did not look like it belonged to Ford, and it made the young man’s stomach turn. Even so, he began doing what Ford had requested and fixed the issues that were discovered. It took hours.

“Ah, finally, finished.” Fidds sighed, rubbing sweat off his temple. He looked around the lab for Ford, but he was nowhere to be seen. Fiddleford made his way upstairs, guessing the man was meditating again.

“Stanford?” Fiddleford pushed open the study door, finding his dearest on the floor, with his eyes closed.

“I got the portal fixed, just like you asked. Whenever you’re ready to come, check it out,” he softly spoke, part of him not wanting Ford to hear him, but sadly, he did.

“Wonderful! Let’s give it another try! Good work, buddy!” The dark brunette rushed downstairs, leaving Fiddleford behind.

The young scientists finally joined each other in the lab; Ford was shaking with excitement. Fiddleford, on the other hand, felt the same dread he always did.

“On three, we turn it on, okay? We have to get this right. It’s all for ultimate knowledge.” Ford said, grabbing Fidds hand. They were going to change the world together, and they both truly believed that.

Fiddleford nodded, getting into place, looking at Ford for his que. He had never seen Ford so excited; part of it warmed Fidds heart, the other terrified him. What was this ultimate knowledge anyway? Who was going to give it to them? Ford promised Fiddleford the world, but how? The what-ifs and questions swirled through his mind, until Stanford broke the silence.

“3..2..1!!” Ford yelled, and Fiddleford quickly flipped the switches as Ford pulled the lever. Suddenly, a flash of bright light appeared from the portal in front of them. It was working.

“It…it works..” Fidds eyes were wide, he almost couldn’t believe what was happening. Their project actually worked.

“IT WORKS! IT WORKS! FIDDLEFORD, LOOK!” Stanford grabbed the young man by the shoulders and thrashed him around with excitement. Fidds pulled Ford into a tight embrace, shocking the other scientist.

“‘M proud of ya, Ford. You’ve worked so hard. You finally got what you’ve been wantin’. Congratulations, hun..” Ford’s heart started racing. What was happening? Was Fiddleford showing signs of affection? Did Fidds finally realize Ford’s into him?

“Fidds..this is just as much as your victory as it is mine. I’m proud of you as well. You’re a genius, Fiddleford. I’ve never met anyone like you.” Ford caressed Fiddleford’s cheek; he wanted to make a move so badly. Fidds gaze softened as he noticed the change in Stanford’s demeanor—kind, just like in college.

“Aw, shucks, Ford... Yer makin’ me blush!” Fiddleford laughed as he put his hand on Ford’s. Ford was seeing Fidds and actually recognizing him for the work he put in. It felt like all his dreams were coming true.

“I love you, Fiddleford; you’ve been nothing but patient with me. You understand me, unlike most. I trust you with all I am.” Stanford planted a gentle kiss on Fidds lips. The two were in pure bliss; the project was over, and they soon would have endless knowledge. Right?

“I love you, too, Stanford. I have for a long time.” Fiddleford returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around Ford’s waist. The man he had craved for so long, the man he would wish for every night, loved him back. This was so surreal, so impossible! He was so happy.

A few days later, it was time to test the portal. Another anxiety-filled night kept Fiddleford awake, leaving his mind foggy the next day. He was at least glad he got to sleep on Ford’s chest after the two confessed, a new core memory for the two men.

Now, the two were standing in front of the interdimensional portal they had built together.

“Let’s grab the test dummy. We’ll see if it’s safe for beings to go through it.” Ford ushered Fidds over to where the test dummy was, both grabbing it and nodding at each other. They returned to the entrance of the portal, the pair holding each side of the doll, rope wrapped around its torso.

“On three again, hun?” Fidds asked. A smile was on his face, but the dread still loomed.

“On 3! 1…2…3!” They let go of the dummy, but the rope was still attached to Fiddleford’s arm. He was pulled into the portal, screaming for Stanford as his upper half was sucked in.

“FIDDLEFORD! I’VE GOT YOU! HOLD ON!” Ford grabbed the rope swiftly and began pulling Fiddleford out with force. The portal tried its hardest to keep its grasp on him, but eventually let him go. Fidds came crashing down, falling harshly onto the lab floor. His body was convulsing, and his eyes began rolling into the back of his head.

“FIDDLEFORD! Is it working? What did you see!?” Ford grabbed Fidds, begging him to answer.

“Beast with one eye.” Fidds muttered, eyes twitching and wide.

“Excuse me?” Ford looked at him, a look of horror slowly forming on his face.

“We’re going to bring about the end of the world with this thing. We need to shut this down; this is dangerous.” Fidds got up, putting his hands on Ford’s shoulder. He was practically digging his nails into him.

“Shut it down? Are you crazy? This is my life’s work! I can’t do that, Fiddleford.” Stanford pushed Fiddleford off of him, offended at the suggestion.

“Did ya not hear me!? END OF THE WORLD! DO YOU EVEN KNOW I SAW IN THERE? HM? IT WAS A DEMON, STANFORD. A ONE EYED DEMON, HE'S COMIN TO DESTROY US!”

“I can’t destroy it. I can’t. I can’t. We’ve worked so hard.. you must be mistaken, truly, Fidds. Let’s talk about this.” Ford tried desperately to get a grip on the situation and control it. But he couldn’t.

“It’s either me or the portal, Stanford. Make up yer mind. You have no idea the horror I’ve seen.” It quickly became apparent that Fiddleford was serious. He was giving Stanford an ultimatum; he had to choose.

“I.. Fidds, you know I can’t do that. That’s ridiculous..” Fiddleford’s heart sunk. He knew this was going to be the answer, but he didn’t want it to be the truth.

“Stanford.. I quit. I can’t risk my life like this anymore; I can’t. I’ve nearly died time and time again; now I’ve seen the devil himself. That is something I might as well soon forget.” Fiddleford got up, eyes empty and glazed over. He gave one more sorry look at Ford before he left, never returning.

Soon after, Fiddleford found a place to stay briefly, working on a new invention.

A memory gun.

He was going to use this to erase the pain Stanford Pines’ decisions had brought him. He was going to live his life, like he never met him.

Once his invention was complete, he looked at a photo of his beloved one last time. He smiled softly as he remembered the good times, throwing the photo in the dump after his moment. He entered Stanford’s name into his machine, brought it to his head, and pulled the trigger.

That’s how you do the act, like you never met me.

So do the act, like you never met me.

Aftermath Of The Attack
(small spoilers for yesterday's SAMS episode, also have a follow up fic to the event (could also be considered a followup to this one))
——————————————————————————
Sun was at the house playing with Jack, Dazzle and even Molten had joined in with them, when he heard muffled shouting near the door. Looking up he saw Monty and Solar. Monty was carrying something that he quickly realized was Moon.
As he stood he asked Jack, Dazzle and Molten to go up to their room for a bit, the three agreeing and going up as Sun went to open the door.
“Monty? Solar? Moon, what's going-”
“Ask questions later, move.”
Sun stepped back as Solar and Monty rushed inside to the couch, Sun following.
“Guys what's going on?” He stopped and looked down at Moon.
He was curled up tight, the back of his head lightly smoking and his whole body shaking. Sun could feel a faint wave of negative energy coming off of him.
The feeling made him grip the back of the couch as he asked again.
“What happened to him?”
Solar left to get something cold for Moon's head, leaving Monty to answer.
“I don't know entirely but I heard screamin’ from Parts and Service. I went to check it out ‘n found Nexus holdin’ him down. Threatened to shoot ‘im if he didn't step off and he left. I don't know what the bastard did to ‘im but he nearly broke his circuit board in half. I think the bastard tried to kill ‘im.”
That made something tighten in Sun's stomach. This was twice now that Moon had encountered Nexus, but this is the first time he's actually hurt him so badly.
“Is Earth here? Or Lunar?” He heard Monty ask.
He managed to shake his head no, stuck in his thoughts as he stared down at Moon, shaking horribly like he was freezing.
“Luckily we managed to hold ‘im down long enough to saulder the board together again and had to repair a little in the cylinder thing.” Monty said.
“And he kept screaming “I'm sorry, I'm sorry Johnathan. No idea why though.” Solar mentioned as he came back with a cold cloth.
Sun swallowed hard as he sat down next to the couch.
“Johnathan was one of the few kids that wasn't scared of Moon. He took a liking to the kid. He found out things weren't good in his home and one night he snuck out, followed him home to see what the problem was…whatever happened there Johnathan never came back to the daycare. He never left that house alive again…I don't know if Moon killed him, or someone else did. But it's torn him up ever since. Not as bad as it used to but it still bothers him now and then…”
“So that's why…” Solar muttered to himself..
“His system is cooling down a bit…his battery's pretty low too…”
“S…un…?”
He looked over to Moon, his brother trying to weakly reach for him.
Sun moved to kneel in front of the couch and placed a hand on his shoulder, firm and comforting. He saw now that Moon's eyes were completely dark- had the encounter left him blind too?
Trembling fingers lightly grasped his wrist, the shaking easing a bit when they did.
“S…ta…y…”
Then he completely shut down, body relaxing a little as he did.
Sun sighed, staying for a moment before going to get the portable charger.
“Someone…hurt Moon?”
Sun looked to the door of his bedroom, Molten standing at the frame.
“I thought I asked you to stay with Jack and Dazzle.”
“They are…napping. Who hurt him.”
Sun sighed. “Molten, you can't go after him. As much as we'd like to see someone hand his ass to him, if you tried he'd kill you easy. Not to mention the dragon…we aren't entirely sure where he even is anyway so trying to find him right now would be pointless.”
“But Moon will be fine,” Sun said, more to reassure himself than anyone else. “We'll make sure he's OK, Molten. For now just stay with the others. If they ask just…tell them Moon isn't feeling too good right now, ok? Please?”
Molten was quiet. He made a promise to himself to protect his friends, his family.
“Fine…but will you…tell me…if you find…anything?”
“I don't know. Maybe? That might be more for Moon or Solar to decide though. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it though. For now just go on to your room, alright? Moon will be ok, he just needs to rest for a few days is all.”
Sun left the room, coming downstairs again. Solar had already covered Moon with a blanket, while Monty was trying to explain to Earth, in the best way possible, what had happened.
Telling Lunar would be trickier, to try and not let him get too worked up.
Sun hooked Moon up to the charger and sat by the couch again, watching Moon silently as he charged.
“Next time you meet him, I'll be there. Maybe this time I can protect you from him…”
-end-
