William’s palisman and enrolling into hexside

I hope this actually posts this time I’m so sleepy

After finally getting used to Luz and The Bird of Night (Eda) the two decided it would be for the best to enlist the kid into hexside. This way he can actually learn more about magic, witches and demons instead of living in a world full of fear and confusion. Of course William would never actually let Eda enlist him.. that’s why she did it without telling him!

He decided to stick with the potion track that Principal Bump had assigned to him and Luz, but once Bump introduced multiple track lessons William joined the bard track simply because he liked the color red.

The day that the Bat Queen arrived to hand out palisman William wanted nothing to do with the whole thing. However it seemed whether or not he got a palisman was not his choice as a certain slippery marsupial had clung right onto his leg and refused to let go. William was far too afraid to tell the Bat Queen that he did NOT want this thing so he kept it and spent the next two weeks trying to convince it to become Luz’s palisman as Luz left school empty handed that day and actually wanted a palisman.

The palisman’s name is Rumpelstiltskin, she’s great and William is terrified of her

Anyway I’ve been thinking, I really need to come up with a proper name for this au so I can organize my posts with a tag

I headcanon that he squints his eyes to make himself appear more serious. However when neutral or not over thinking on how he presents himself, his eyes droop. He got those sleepy eyes, even after he finally rests lol. It makes him look a bit softer idk. I think he either has a resting bitch face or that
