Besides Bridgerton what HRs (if any) do you enjoy?

Sarah MacLean is a fantastic HR author. Read any of her books and you won't be disappointed. Nine Rules To Break When Romancing S Rake (the superior Polin dynamic: great fat rep, a wallflower/rake relationship) is practically a comfort read at this point.

Brazen and the Beast, One Good Earl Deserves a Lover, and A Rogue by Any Other Name are other favorites.

Scarlett Peckham's Secrets of Charlotte Street series. I've only read 2/3 so far, but The Earl I Ruined specifically is actually fantastic. The relationship is entertaining (hero has a secret sexual past, the heroine "ruins" him, well, his reputation) and the Secret Sexual Past informs their dynamic and it's very hot. Like, that man, Apthorp, is your definition of Very Respectful In All Situations even when he's coaching the heroine through a bj behind a curtain at their own engagement party. We love him for it.

Lisa Kleypas set, I think, the standard for HR. Fairly light like Bridgerton, but the scenarios are a lot more varied and the people come from more socially diverse backgrounds. The Wallflower series set the standard: The first three (Secrets of a Summer Night, It Happened One Autumn, The Devil in Winter), and the "prequel" (Again The Magic) are all practically classics, must-reads.

Apart from those, Marrying Winterborne is probably my favorite, along with Chasing Cassandra for some lighter fun.

Sierra Simone actually wrote some historical romance (erotica?) back in the day. I found out through The Duke I'd Like To F... anthology book, in which she wrote a short story called the The Chasing Of Eleanor Vane (Simone's language is like, sexy and poetic at once, and the emotional bits written so well so I teared up which never happens to me??), that she'd written other HR. The Ivy Leavold series is basically gothic erotica, super tense, a lot of not-standard-for-HR sexual situations going on.

Sophie Jordan also writes lighter HR, along the lines of Julia Quinn, so I think I gravitate towards the ones that are a bit more tense, so my personal recommendations are A Good Debutante's Guide to Ruin and her latest The Rake Gets Ravished.

Elizabeth Hoyt is good to explore, overall. There is only one book I can remember distinctly and that is Duke of Sin. The hero is actually hysterical, but not in the "haha" way, but in the "oh god"/Selina Meyer's nervous laughter way. The heroine is extremely capable of handling this man's wildness, so it's fun.

I shipped zutara before even watching the show just based off spoilers/character archetypes. now that I’ve watched I recognize that katzula is what I wanted zutara to be & is the superior ship & also that zuko is like extremely gay I’m over that phase. no offense if you ship it like good for you but that couldn’t be me anymore
