I was gonna colour but I forgot to. And then I just started scanning.

reached circle three of the inferno and wow was i in for a ride. the sinners of this circle are punished for gluttony, not just for food, but for pride, avarice, and envy. “A babel of despair.” these are all essentially, a form of insatiable hunger. a hunger for money, self importance and being seen as such, craving the lives & advantages of others, etc. Cerberus is here which is described to be this dog-like creature w three heads which barks and torments the tortured souls laid here constantly. they were punished for their hunger for wanting more and more which in turn, never leaves them feeling completely filled. now they suffer the consequence and face Cerberus which gnaws and eats away at them, leaving Cerberus never completely filled. the interesting thing ab this circle tho is that unlike the others, this one’s the opposite in temperature wise. it’s really cold and icy and constantly rainy or snowing and everything’s full of dirty slush. the souls here are decaying basically turning into mush within the soil. only to be risen and gnawed away and decay again. in this pic u can see virgil throwing a handful of dirt in one of Cerberus’s mouth which is the only reason they aren’t barking or tearing the souls to shreds. Dante also uses the third circle to discuss contemporary politics when one of the souls recognizes him from their home town in Florence. although there is no clear political link to the sin of gluttony, Dante compares Florence to an overfed stomach, “so full of envy it overflows”.

latest book, The Third Circle, does not call the obviously trans people trans. the MCs say "women living as men". seems like transphobia to me. seems like invalidating the trans existence to me. or rather the queer existence.

Even if you’ve gotta rewrite the rules of the game yourself, you gotta convince yourself you can win.” The commentator seems to respond to Steve directly. “And that’s three strikes for Tommy Hagan for the fourth at-bat in a row. If this Dodgers team has a prayer of making the playoffs, it rests solely on Steve Harrington making it back in time.” Eddie feels Steve squeeze his hand tighter.

Or, Professional Baseball Shortstop Steve Harrington injures his UCL and returns home to Indiana for treatment. Cue massage therapist Eddie Munson whose tender, practiced touch heals much more than Steve's elbow.

His shadow arms should be more skeletal, but I got lazy.
