I remember seeing the original cast of The Who's Tommy at the Macy's parade in 1993. I've been waiting for a revival for years. So glad I got to see the show on Saturday. What a welcome jolt it is! (I also got the Acid Queen drink during intermission, lol.)

I am so excited for The Who’s Tommy because I love The Who and people I know who aren't Broadway fans suddenly want to go.
I was reading character descriptions and the uncle is a terrible person who I guess blames it on being drunk and attempts to grow and get sober and my frist thought to play a drunk asshole was Christian Borle.
Then I found out he played the father off-broadway in 2019. A guilt-ridden father, he was probably fantastic. And I hope he plays this again.
apparently, he did this show in Germany after college?!
Odds are he's on the cast list. Third production this time on Broadway!? High chance he's at least interested?
He'd have to take some time off for that Broadway cruise thing, but that happens.
Whenever I have hope for a casting I think it won't happen, but there's a possibility here, right???!
Will they just announce the cast already I'm excited!
Edit: okay cast announced, he's not in it. I'm sure the cast will be amazing but I love seeing Christian in things.

Tommy is so funny to me because in the movie, the song Tommy Can You Hear Me? is shown as Nora being extremely worried about Tommy from the tone and softness of her voice. And in the original album it’s just a joyous, “TOMMY CAN YOU HEAR ME :D CAN YOU FEEL ME NEAR YOU :D”
