I was gonna keep this secret until it was finished but it sounded like maybe you're in need of some good things to start the year, so I hope this is a good thing. Your Look, Through This Lens is one of my all time favorite fics. Not even just for KimChay, it's really one of the best things I've ever read. It's so beautifully done, and absolutely devastating. Of course after reading it I had to go through your entire profile to find even more things to adore. But YLTSL will always have a special place in my heart. I love the way that it opens, with Chay, and the reader, already knowing how it's going to end.

I just wanted to share some love. I hope 2024 is kind to you <3

fsdfhk fh okay well one, first, to begin, thank you for loving on YLTTL so much, to the point where you've drawn something. My whole body is shaking while looking at this. Chay's expression has me in tears. I know this "unfinished" as you've said but you've captured his melancholy so well here. The lowered camera is such a nice touch because he's so captivated by Kim and maybe even WIK. This is so beautiful. Even if you never finish it, this is so very special and beautiful and meaningful to me. You've brought this version of Chay to life. I am in awe.

Second, to hear YLTTL is one of your favorite fics has me weak; thank you for your kind words, especially since you're an incredible writer yourself. YLTTL was a story that made me take a lot of risks but to know that you still read through it all, enjoyed it, and hold it close, is everything to me.

Excuse me while I shout this in every corner I am in. Thank you is not enough.

Fluff! One of my favorites! Gotta do a top 5 tho because I suck at narrowing it down. (These are in no particular order.)

Ok, first let me slide in “If it's not happy...” by IsleofSolitude. I had forgotten this beautiful warmth of a story for a bit, but @emberfaye reminded me of it, and I just have let it sit in my brain rent free for days now.

Next I have to obviously mention THE KimChay fic, I'll Ignite For You by @wildelydawn . If you haven’t read this fic, but love KimChay, I cannot recommend it enough. Fantastic and spectacular.

Now more recent is “the closer I am to you” by @airgiodslv . Let me tell you this one has carved a spot in my very soul, and I can’t gush about it enough!

Of course I have to also toss in “Idolistic” by @ditch-lily . This is a fun and emotional read, that one minute has me giggling like a child, and then feeling my heart aching.

And last I have to mention “Family means…” by Lori0 @lori0018 . I found this one a while back, and I think I read it fully… 4 times in one day? Also ace rep!

I’m sure there’s more, but I’m sadly extremely behind in my fic reading, and these are the ones I think of in terms of fluff (mostly), and the G/T rating. Hope you enjoy! And thank you for the ask!🫂♥️

This is currently a very small part of a sprawling fic, I unfortunately lost all of it and had to start it all over again. I have posted the scene that set it off but will be posting the whole thing as I rewrite it.

Now that Kim has to stick to using the shadows and his own power to travel unseen, it was proving to be all the more exhausting.

He wasn't sure if Chay had already ordered a manhunt for him, but he rather be safe than sorry. It wouldn't do anybody good to get caught now, in the middle of undoing his fathers influence in the Kittsawad kingdom. He wouldn't be spared now, regardless whatever came to pass, being a traitor to both sides. Still he had to try and give the princes who had took him in a fighting chance. He pushed through another wave of dizziness to finally reach home.

Maybe it was the exhaustion and sleeplessness, but he was sure he was hallucinating Chay sitting by his fireplace as if the day before had never happened. He definitely had to be hallucinating as it was only yesterday he had left his prince crying on the very doorstep he was standing on.

Korn slides a contract across the table to Porsche and raises his eyebrows expectantly. “So, will you be joining the troupe or not?”

Porsche gives Chay a look and Chay nods; this isn’t their first go-around with a stingy businessman in the traveling entertainment industry. Both young men are well aware that the bastards are just waiting to make a buck on your skills and labor. 

Chay snaps back to full attention when his brother taps him twice on the leg beneath the table – their signal that something feels wrong about a deal. Out loud, Porsche asks, “What do you mean in this section, here?”

“Hm?” Korn leans over his desk and peers down at the washed out tin-type. “Which section are you referring to?”
