If you’re wondering how long I lived in Chicago, I remember when the 606 was the Bloomingdale Trail. It was this place I read about in the obscure corners of the internet - an abandoned train line, waltzing through the neighborhoods of Chicago’s west side. Be careful, the internet warned, because though there are no trains anymore, there are plentiful broken bottles and discarded needles.
