I'm glad, and i really hope it's worth the wait. I still struggle with wondering how it will be recieved sometimes with each new chapter. Still gotta work on that, but i think it's getting better, slowly. I'm excited to finish it.

I can only guess that when people call their sex based asks "weird", what they Really mean (whether or not they realize it) is "invasive"-- since something something sex is taboo Western society and all. Even though in fanworks the bar for "weird" is actually buried about 2 inches into the topsoil, and "invasive" better applies when you're asking something about the author more than the work.

Anyway, do you think Bill knew what toes were before he met the Axolotl? Like 2-dimensional toes aren't going to be visible except as slightly larger (because closer) line segments, and the Axolotl has grippers

There's a theory. I always sort of assume that by "weird" they just mean "taboo"—like they think I'm gonna scold/shame them for being curious about something "inappropriate" and so they have to head me off by doing it to themselves first.

I actually don't know whether I headcanon that Euclideans have toes and they just aren't drawn, or if Bill's feet actually are shaped like socks. "No toes" offends my inner evolutionary biologist but "yes toes" offends my aesthetic sensibilities, and also my inner evolutionary biologist but for different reasons.

But the thing is, if he DID have toes like ours, then they'd be useless, right? Since toes exist so you can put them on the floor and feel the ground and help you balance and climb rocks and stuff. So since a Euclidean's toes would be sticking out of the side of his foot, there's no purpose for them to be there.

So I've got a solution

Steamy boy Stealing my friend @thedemonsurfer's headcanon that Dark Sun runs hotter than other animatronics, which is a similarly unnerving equivalent to a person being deathly cold for them. Adapting that for Sirius where as a consequence he steams a lot more often/easily. He has vents on his side for the steam, but he cant use them while wearing shirts. So he's seen with it mostly coming out of his mouth (Sirius prefers the dragon comparisons to the smoking ones ew). Being able to take off his shirt at the end of the day and use his vents is a great relief as seen here.
