Navratri is celebrated with fervour and devotion all over India and by Hindus worldwide. Navratri comes twice a year and marks the transition in seasons, winter-summer and summer-winter. The one in the beginning of summers is the Chaitra Navratri and Sharad Navratri is celebrated in the beginning of winters. During Chaitra Navratri, Ram Navami is celebrated on the ninth day and after Sharad Navratri, Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day which signifies the victory of good over evil.
