Ohhh, I hadn’t even thought of that! 3rd level does seem potentially high enough to attract their attention, so that might indeed have been the reason.

If you have an Android phone with a Google account hooked up to it, you can google “Where’s my phone” and it will give you the option to call it… it would ring at full volume even if you have it on silent.

THANK YOU, I did this and found it sitting face-down on an identically-colored suitcase in my closet! The full-volume ring feature is amazing.

I saw your tags on that dice post and would like to comfort you. I have the most dice at my table by... quite a bit. My main dice bag is bigger than my head lol. But I roll the best at my table, too! To be fair, I do have a weird pre-rolling ritual, though, so maybe it’s that.

My other dice superstition is that the more superstitious you are, the worse you roll, so this is all very reassuring information! I guess it turns out that, in the end, it all comes down to the density of glitter, the size of air bubbles, the location of plastic blobs, and the incomprehensible whims of that great big random number generator in the sky, which means that I can buy all the dice I want and it’ll probably be fine, right?

Hey, I did it!!!

Happy BFSN, fam!

Been a while since I participated, but seeing how I barely noticed that January happened, Tuesdays were a concept that escaped me entirely. But now, it's a new month and I no longer leave for work and come back home in complete darkness, so my spirits have definitely been lifted.

Also, since the month started, I've been working hard on solidifying my spinster cat lady rep - I spent the whole weekend knitting a blanket for my cat, I shit you not. And let me tell ya, it's incredibly relaxing.

I survived like 7 hours of meetings today on 4 hours of sleep... it's totally doable. TOTALLY DOABLE. ..... would I recommend it?? Maybe? After this twist?! Jeeeeeeeez
