@strongfuck said: Theia, be honest -- how we feelin' after that graduation ceremony, huh? | Send "Be honest" + a question and my muse will have to answer honestly
Tumblr media
Theia considers a half-second longer than normal, giving the question the weight and processing power it deserves. In the years they'd spent together, she'd learned Rhys didn't mean it as a trap--but meant it seriously nonetheless.
She thinks about saying next time, I want a sword. Accomplished. There's still plenty to do. But she finds she has little interest in playing those kinds of games. She has no need. Not with her family. Instead, she cocks her head, the ghost of a soft smile on her lips. Enough for them to see.
"I'm happy. Happier that you're all here."

Chapter 21
“One after another, I hunted monsters—the remaining pets of the Daglan—until many of the lowest rooms were filled with them. Until my once-beautiful home became a prison. Until even the land was so disgusted by the evil I’d gathered here that the islands shriveled and the earth became barren. The winged horses who hadn’t gone with my mother to Midgard, who had once flown in the skies, playing in the surf … they were nearly gone. Not a single living soul remained, except for the monstrosities in the mountain.”
So she was the one who contained Koschei and the Weaver, and she was the Bone Carver's salvation.
“I will spare you the details of how I came to wed a High Lord’s son. Of the years before and after he became the High Lord of Night, and I his lady. He wanted me to be High Lady, as the other lords’ mates were, but I refused. I had seen what power had done to my mother, and I wanted none of it.
Yet when my first son was born, when the babe screamed and the sound was full of night, I brought him to the Prison and keyed the wards into his blood. No one knew that the infant who sometimes glowed with starlight had inherited it from me. That it was the light of the evening star. The dusk star.”
Silene 👏🏼 Theia's 👏🏼 Second 👏🏼 Daughter 👏🏼 Is 👏🏼 Rhysand's 👏🏼 Ancestor 👏🏼 Confirmed 👏🏼 his 👏🏼 bloodline 👏🏼 hails 👏🏼 from 👏🏼 High 👏🏼 King 👏🏼 Fionn 👏🏼 of 👏🏼 Prythian
Tumblr media
I assumed her name was Nyx (as in the Night Goddess Rhys mentioned) but Silene is also close enough to symbolize night/the moon.
Nesta murmured to Azriel, “Does Rhys … does he know?”
“No,” Azriel replied without an ounce of doubt. “Somewhere along the line … all this was forgotten, and never passed on.”

Pelias and Lightsingers
Me and @silverlinedeyes have theorized before that Pelias might have been a lightsinger in this post.
After hofas release I noticed something.
In hofas we learn that Fionn died like this:
The image shifted to some sort of marsh—a bog. Fionn rode a horse between the islands of grass, bow at the ready as he ducked beneath trees in bloom. My parents often went hunting in the vast slice of land the Daglan had kept for their private game park, where they had crafted terrible monsters to serve as worthy prey. It was there that he met his death. A dark-haired, pale creature that could have been the relative of the nøkk in Jesiba’s gallery dragged a bound and gagged Fionn into the inky depths of the bog, the once-proud king screaming as he went under. Horror rooted Bryce to the spot. Theia and Pelias stood at the water’s edge, faces impassive. Petals began falling from the trees. Leaves with them. Birds took flight. As if sudden winter gripped the bog. As if the land had died with its king
Lets break this down...
Fionn and his close people. One of them is his lover and the other is his general
In the bog
Asteri private game park
The last thing he sees is their faces after they betray him
Now how this ties to Pelias and Lightsingers...
This is how lightsingers are described in acosf:
“There are lightsingers: lovely, ethereal beings who will lure you, appearing as friendly faces when you are lost. Only when you’re in their arms will you see their true faces, and they aren’t fair at all. The horror of it is the last thing you see before they drown you in the bog. But they kill for sport, not food.”
Now lets break this down...
Friendly faces
Bog
For sport...not food... private game park
The last thing you see is their faces
That's literally what happened to Fionn. He was killed in bog by his "friends" who probably lured him there to kill not for food but sport bc that was the asteri hunting ground they used for sport..............
That whole describtion is a tale explaining what happened to fionn.
And on top of this we learn that asteri crafted creatures for their game park(the middle)
So what if Lightsinger were crafted by asteri? What if Pelias was one of them? Because lightsinger come from the middle? What if pelias was one of them?
Maybe that's how he could connect them from acotar to cc after they were defeated in acotar bc he was crafted by them??
It was Pelias who told her where to cast her intention. Using old, notated star maps from their former masters, he’d selected a world for them. Bryce’s gut churned. The Asteri must have kept archives and records on this world, too. Exactly like the room Bryce had found in the palace, full of notes on conquered planets. Dusk, they’d labeled the room—as if out of all the worlds mentioned within, this world remained their focus. This place. Pelias told her it was a world the Daglan had long coveted but had not had the chance to conquer. An empty world, but one of plenty. She had no way of knowing that he had spent our era of peace learning ancient summoning magic and searching the cosmos for whatever remained of the Daglan on other worlds. What he wanted from them, I can only guess —perhaps he knew that to wrest the Trove from Theia and seize power for himself, he needed someone more powerful than he was.
And not just this...Theia does not even question Pelias...she just does whatever he tells her too...
My mother did not question Pelias, her conspirator and ally, when he told her to will the Horn and Harp to open a doorway to this world. She did not question how and why he knew that this island, our misty home, was the best place to do it. She simply gathered our people, all those willing to conquer and colonize—and opened the doorway.
and again they are lured to another friendly face—the asteri.
The teenage Fae boy, appearing no older than Helena and Silene, smiled at Theia. Raised a hand in greeting. My mother did not recognize the enemy when they wore a friendly face, beckoning her and the others through the portal. Had she any hesitations upon finding that the empty world she’d been promised was indeed populated, they were calmed when the strangers claimed to be Fae as well, long separated from our world by the Daglan, whom they too claimed to have overthrown. And they had waited all this time to reunite our people.
Friendly face...beckoning...
We have another beckoning in acosf
Gwyn’s hair seemed to glow brighter with her song, skin radiating a beckoning light. Drawing any listener in.
So what if...Pelias is a lightsinger...as gwyn is?
Also it would be so interesting that Fionn who probably has shadow powers(silene and helena both have shadow powers and theia has starborn so they probably got shadow from fionn)and Pelias who might be a lightsinger lightsinger and we have Azriel who has shadow powers and gwyn who very vell might be a lightsinger....
Very interesting if you ask me.

Elain: “He snapped your wings, he broke your bones.” Cassian: “It will take more than that to kill me.” Elain: “No it will not.”
What if Elain wasn't talking about Cassian and Hybern? What if it was Cassian later on in life? Or do we think that Nesta with her power over death, blocked his death from reaching him? “Will I hear the earthworms writhing through the soil? Or the stretching of roots? Will the bird of fire come to sit in the trees and watch me?” Dusk coming back to life. Or the leylines (roots) activating with Bryce opening the portal. The Midgard worm which appears to eat / be attracted to magic. Bird of fire is Vassa
"I can hear your heart beating through the stone. I can hear hers too" Vesperus and Nesta? I can't remember who she said this to. On rereading Koschei and Vesperus? Or Koschei and Aelin?
"I can hear her crying. Everyone thinks she is dead, but she isn't. She was changed, like I was."
Who is this! Another made person? Another seer? "I can hear the sea. Even at night. Even in my dreams. The crashing sea—and the screams of a bird made of fire.”
The sea, Dusk? The bird of fire Vassa? Why is she screaming?
“They sold her—to … to some darkness, to some … sorcerer-lord …”
The human queens sold Vassa to Koschei.
“I can never see him. What he is. There is an onyx box that he possesses, more vital than anything … save for them. The girls. He keeps other girls—others so like her—but she … By day, she is one form, by night, human again.”
He has his heart (soul?) trapped in an onyx box, and he is looking for the key. Reminds me of what the Bone Carver said, that the blood of a power High Fae trapped Koschei and her blood still runs through the humans. He is trapping humans to see if they will open the box for him. Vassa has "Blue eyes" and "reddish gold hair" - like Meave? Like Theia? I actually think that Stryga was Koschei's wife and stole his heart locking it in a box as punishment for something. Similar to Meabh and Erawan.
“There is … a lake. Deep in—in the continent, I think. Hidden amongst mountains and ancient forests. He keeps them all at the lake.” “Other women like her?” “Yes—and no. Their feathers are white as snow. They glide across the water—while she rages through the skies above it.”
Is this Vassa the Firebird (Mala) and Mab (as a swan)?
This reads to me like a retelling of the Children of Lir.
“I can hear her—crying.” “Everyone thinks she’s dead." “But she’s not. Only—different. Changed. As I was.”
Who is she? Briallyn? Mab? Who people think is dead? Her crown was never recovered? Another made person, mortal to immortal? Miryam?
“She stared into the darkness above. “I think they used it to … to trap their enemies and their enemies’ children into the stone itself.”
The Asteri trapping the fae into stone in the prison? Looking up at the darkness, to the sky, the stars / asteri on different planets. Who are their enemies? Aelin, the fae, and the starborn. "He did. He saw me. He will not now.”
He? As in Hybern? The Cauldron? Koschei?
“It made sense, I supposed, that Azriel alone had listened to her. The male who heard things others could not … Perhaps he, too, had suffered as Elain had before he understood what gift he possessed.
The biggest questions for me are the flaming feather on the snow.

The mutants of Krakoa are sent on their mission to investigate who is behind the terrorist attack and they help the survivors of the bombed city. Also, they fend off the Watchdogs who are harassing the mutants and survivors.
The mutants who do things in this comic are...
Storm disperses the biotoxic gas in the air and she helps out in fending off the Watchdogs. She also creates an oxygen-rich bubble environment to enhance Triage's healing powers.
Cyclops and Monet St Croix do most of the fighting in fending off the Watchdogs who are harassing the mutants.
Bishop helps out the survivors as well as fending off the Watchdogs.
Cerebra and Tempo analyze the skull and they found out that the skull belonged to a young mutant who was kidnapped and used as a living weapon by Orchis.
Thunderbird frees the trapped man inside the car, he also knows that the Heritage Foundation might have something to do with the X-Gene used to create the exploding mutant so he informs the CSI team that they were buying native X-Genes.
Iceman creates ice bowls for the dogs to drink water out of. He also uses his ice golems to do CPA stuff in the office, helping the town prepare for upcoming bureaucratic and budgetary battles.
Triage works to heal the critically injured and notes that half the town is sick or infectious due to the "dirty bomb" explosion.
Tag's powers are great for evacuation and he "tags" destroyed cars and buildings to help people escape them, while Karma telepathically guides people out of complexes.
Angel helps out in not only taking the trapped survivors out of the window from the building, he also helps out Cyclops, Monet, Bishop, Jean Grey and Bishop in fending off the Watchdogs.
Jean Grey ends up her telekinesis levitating most of the Watchdogs and after reading their minds realizes they're not part of the false flag operation. They actually believe mutants are responsible for the attack. She gets them out of the way and has them "chasing their own tails." Jean Grey also rebuilds people's homes using their memories as blueprints.
Somnus keeps the wounded but stable victims dreaming comfortably as they rest.
Thumbelina uses her shrinking powers to perform microsurgeries inside the survivors' bodies.
Wicked the Genoshan mutant connects the deceased with their loved ones as grief counseling. Bishop notes that without backups of these people the Phoenix Foundation can't bring them back.
Icarus singing local tunes to lift the hearts of the victims.
Escapade switching places with trapped people as she seems good at escaping.
Crave the random mutant eats the contents of biohazard bags that have been collected, neutralizing them. He also finds them delicious.
Northstar and Aurora light up the night sky.
Sanjar Javeed (Horseman Death from Remender's Uncanny X-Force) boosts the immune systems of the most vulnerable.
Brutha Nature grows air-scrubbing flora all over town.
Alchemist (Sudi Abadi) purifies the contaminated water.
Theia also helps to reassemble the streets, businesses, etc.
Greycrow cooks a massive pot of seafood boil while Madrox fills and passes out bowls.
Eye-Scream the obscure mutant makes ice cream for the children.
Hindsight uses his telemetry to do more investigations.

Why Elain giving back TT is significant [ACOSF & CC Spoilers]
In ACOFAS, we learn what happened after Elain used TT to stab (or kill) Hybern.
“You honestly think he’d ever give up Truth-Teller?” “He gave it to Elain,” Mor said, admiring a moonstone necklace in the counter’s glass case. “She gave it back,” I amended, failing to block out the image of the black blade piercing through the King of Hybern’s throat. But Elain had given it back—had pressed it into Azriel’s hands after the battle, just as he had pressed it into hers before. And then walked away without looking back. Mor hummed to herself.”
I have seen many people using this argument against Elain having a connection to TT—when, in fact, it means the opposite, especially considering what we learn in both ACOSF and (most importantly) HOSAB.
But first, let’s recap what we know about Elain’s (alleged) connection to TT:
Azriel had never before let another person touch that knife—until Elain.
Elain, who had never used a weapon, accepted it, despite having rejected other options before (remember, Cassian had offered her a weapon prior to her accepting TT from Azriel).
Elain actually used it—and by using it, answered Feyre’s plea for help, thus saving Nesta and Cassian’s life.
When using TT, Elain stepped out of a shadow, something we have only ever seen Azriel do.
And by using TT, Elain ultimately changed the course of the war.
What is also interesting is that we see this scene through Feyre’s eyes—and the Cauldron’s, so we get a glimpse of how the Cauldron feels about Elain.
Now, at the end of HOSAB, we learn that TT is connected to the Starsword.
And what do we know about the Starsword?
That it actually answers to two people, not one. It recognizes and chooses both Ruhn and Bryce.
Yet Cormac glowered at the Starsword peeking over Ruhn’s broad shoulder. “Rumor has it that the sword sings for my bride, too.”
Ruhn seemed to force himself to look at Bryce as he said, “It’s true.” So he’d seen her glare, then. “The sword’s as much yours as it is mine.”
The Starsword deemed Ruhn worthy, and recognized Bryce as kin.
“That your son, not you, retrieved the Starsword from the Cave of Princes in Avallen’s dark heart. That your son, not you, stood among the long-dead Starborn Princes asleep in their sarcophagi and was deemed worthy to pull the sword from its sheath.”
Her sword—it was her sword, and Ruhn’s. And with that light in her veins, with the star that slumbered inside her heart, the Starsword had recognized her not as a royal, worthy Fae, but as kin. Kin to those who had forged it so long ago. Like called to like.
So we now know that TT can also have two owners: one deemed worthy, and one it recognizes as kin.
Because what else do we learn about these weapons?
“That sword belongs to Theia’s female heir. Not the male offspring who corrupted her line.”
These weapons are passed down the female line, not the male.
I am still surprised when I see readers connecting Bryce to Azriel through TT, when we know from HOSAB that the weapons belong to the female descendants of Theia, NOT the male.
Also interesting to note: Bryce does not want the Starsword—does not want to claim it.
“I don’t need a fancy sword to add to it.” “But I do?” “Honestly? I think you don’t know how special you are, Ruhn.” His blue eyes flickered. “Thanks.” “I mean it.” She grabbed his hand, and light flared from her chest. “The sword came to you first for a reason.”
The sword came to Ruhn first—just as TT came to Azriel.
And even more interesting: the scene where Bryce uses the sword.
The Starsword sang with light, her power flowing into it. Activating it. And nothing had ever felt so right, so easy, as plunging the blade into the bony chest of the wounded Reaper. It arced, bellowing, black blood spurting from its withered lips. The others screamed then. So loud she thought the sewer might come down, so loud she nearly dropped the blade to cover her ears.
Which mirrors the scene where Elain uses TT:
But as a black blade broke through the king’s throat, spraying blood, I realized someone else had. Elain stepped out of a shadow behind him, and rammed Truth-Teller to the hilt through the back of the king’s neck as she snarled in his ear, “Don’t you touch my sister.”
The Cauldron purred in Elain’s presence as the King of Hybern slumped to his knees, clawing at the knife jutting through his throat. Elain backed away a step. Choking, blood dribbling from his lips, the king gaped at Nesta.
Unlike with Bryce, however, we do not have Elain’s POV of the events leading up to this scene, or how she felt during it, so we do not know if the knife responded to her in the same way.
But it does make you wonder: did it feel as right to her, as it did to Bryce? Given how afraid she had been up until that point—vomiting from terror—she appeared as an avenging angel in this scene, almost as if she’s done this before, almost as if it felt right.
Also similar is the return of the sword and knife to the men who found the weapons first, who were deemed worthy to possess them. Despite Bryce using the sword, it returns to Ruhn, and stays with him until he asks her to take it with her.
Similarly, Elain returns TT to Azriel after using it. Will TT find its way back to her? Will Azriel, like Ruhn, offer it to Elain again?
Remember: when Azriel picks up the sword in HOSAB, it does not react to him. We do not see a change in him when he touches it, nor do we see any change in the sword when near the other IC members.
The male’s face didn’t soften as he picked up the sheathed Starsword, then gestured for her to step closer.
Elain is, of course, absent, and I am 99.99% sure that Sarah hinted at her being somewhere nearby (bread and roses) for a reason. Could this be it? Will the sword react to her the same way it reacts to Bryce? The same way the Cauldron reacts in Elain’s presence?
Could Elain activate the Starsword? Did she activate TT the way Bryce did, the way Nesta infused other swords with her power?
“Yes,” Amren said. “Only the Great Powers could do that—Gwydion was given its powers when the High Priestess Oleanna dipped it into the Cauldron during its crafting.” Cassian’s blood chilled, waves rippling over his skin. “One touch from Nesta’s magic while the blade was still hot …” “And the blade was infused with it.”
I still think that Nesta losing most of her powers at the end of ACOSF was done on purpose, to make Elain take center stage in future events. At this point, she is the only being alive who has Cauldron-given powers, similar to the Starsword and TT.
“You stole from the Cauldron,” I said to Nesta, who seemed ready to jump between all of us and Elain. “But what if the Cauldron gave something to Elain?”
And what does Bryce need at the end of HOSAB?
And she had no way to get home. Unless Aidas or Apollion knew how to use the Horn. Had magic that could charge it.
Bryce ends up in Prythian because she is looking for someone who can help. Sarah mentioned during one of her interviews that her ending up in Prythian while looking for help is not a coincidence—help is in Prythian.
With Nesta’s Cauldron-stolen powers mostly gone, Elain is the only one who can both use the Horn and the only one who has the power to charge it.
“Once, the High Fae were more elemental, more given to reading the stars and crafting masterpieces of art and jewelry and weaponry. Their gifts were rawer, more connected to nature, and they could imbue objects with that power.”
“When Briallyn was Made, it likely removed from her the Dread Trove’s glamour, for lack of a better term. Recognized her as kin. Where she might have glanced over a mention of the items before and never thought twice, now it stuck. Or perhaps called to her, presented itself in a dream.” All of them, all at once, looked at Nesta. “You,” Amren said quietly, “are the same. So is Elain.”

hello, I’m Theia (pronounced THey-Ah)
this is kinda a vent blog, kinda a way to keep track of things, the TWS for everything is at the bottom of the post
I have:
- delusions, I am able to double book-keep and thats what helps me stay calm, though sometimes I might post about a new or past delusion as if it were actually happening/had actually happened
- intrusive thoughts, they get very violent and disgusting, TWS at the end
- depression, I’m medicated (heavily) but I still get the seasonal blues, and honestly even being sedated doesn’t really curb it at times
- suicidal thoughts, came 2-for-1 with the depression, I try to just ignore them usually but may keep track of them via posts on this blog
- autism, but I post about that a lot on my main so it probably won’t get mentioned here much (the sensory issues will though)
TWS FOR THIS BLOG: suicide, suicide ideation, self harm, delusions, unreality, medications, rape, violence, blood, gore, incest, pedophilia, abuse, guns, bugs, vomit, religion, christianity, (more to be added)

I am obsessed with Theia. Would it he alright with you if I cosplayed her? I'll tag you in the final results.
*screaming* Yes you can cosplay as Theia! I would love to see your vision of her! Please do tag this blog when you do, and I'll be sure to add it to the art masterlist!
I've been wanting to cosplay her myself, but have been struggling with any good dress patterns/fabrics, so if you have any advice there too, I'd love to hear them!

Take On Me - Chapter 2
Here's a WIP preview of the next chapter of my Marth fic! It is... 20% done :)
-
“Earth’s Moon? What are you doing here?” He asks as he departs from the asteroid belt and approaches his orbit. Earth’s Moon, a lunar satellite whose surface is gray and covered with craters, had his arms crossed, looking around as if he was searching for him. When he notices Mars approaching, he turns around with a serious look on his face.
Mars could not help recoiling seeing his expression— it was reminiscent of Theia, when she lets her mask break and he is confronted by the woman of his dreams, one who does not hesitate to share every part of her.
However, she is dead, and the last thing he heard before her ultimate demise was her core-wrenching, terrified screams.
It still echoes within his mind, and Mars wonders if he could have saved her, if he should’ve been a whole lot more forceful with keeping Tierra and Theia apart.
“Um, Mars?” Earth’s Moon pokes him lightly, and Mars looks back at him, still slightly dazed with many, many memories. His visors identify the Earth’s Moon as… Earth’s Moon. Not Theia. Never Theia, it seems. The lunar satelite’s expression morphs from a serious one to a concerned look. “Are you feeling alright?”
“I’m fine,” Mars says, manually ordering his visors to scrawl out Earth’s Moon’s face. He did not want to have another one of his self-pity parties in front of her son. “What do you need? Shouldn’t you be with the Earth? Aren’t you important to his earthlings?”
“His earthlings can handle being moonless for a day,” Earth’s Moon replies, replicating Earth’s own words when they have decided to strike up a friendship. “I need to talk to you.”

Well, that was some plot twist, can I just say that Cami and Antoine were the real MVPs of this chapter? I loved every single thing they did and said in this chapter and I really really hope we see more of Antoine and Abigail, they are the only sane couple of this story (at least for now).
But I have soo many thoughts!
Most of the next generation, especially the kids you chose, to live in the same building has got to be one of my favourite plot twists. I'm shooketh. This has so much potential. Regine and Arthur? Kincaid wooing Arthur? Kincaid and Joan training and Arthur with Regine thirsting after them? Regine working through her feelings and becoming a better person? Lance witnessing Kincaid being a decent person and maybe being somewhat similar to him? Them hiding from the adoring crowd to a closet or something? Theia and Kincaid being amazing siblings in law? That storyline is a major game changer and I'm thrilled to see how you'll explore it!
I love love love Gwen and I'm so glad she's back! And telling Lucifer to respect Lance? Queen behavior right there
Does every Knightstorm have to be a bigoted nightmare? Blood supremacist, homophobe, what's next? No offence Mikkel but we have enough problems to worry about without you trying to create a cult. On a side note, super stoked to see what happened to him and Hermes. I have a feeling they used to be close? And most likely it was platonic but maybe a little romantic too? Maybe?👀
Here are some things that feel like they're connected (but probably aren't): 1)Theia mentions in LBAF 5 that she "sees" Lance dating a mundane blonde girl, like a Barbie girl, which reminds me of Regine 2)It's been mentioned a lot that Regine/Lance were going to be married/parabatai by Madeleime when they were kids a lot 4)Arthur sees Lance with a parabatai rune. I honestly don't even have an actual theory about this, those things just seem to connect?
Speaking of the parabatai rune, if Lance and Arthur don't end up becoming parabatai(I can see Atlas figuring the runes problem) Kincaid and Lance kind of make sense? Not because they are close but because parabatai are supposed to share a soul. And both Kincaid's and Lance's soul is Arthur. So, in a way they're already sharing a soul.
Another crazy theory: The prophecy isn't talking about Lance/Kincaid but about Lucifer/Micheal and Lance and Kincaid clash is just the beginning of the war between the other two. Or when Kincaid burns Lance, it would destroy the pandemonium but Lance would live, and it would be the prince of darkness' demise because he would no longer be a portal? Or even that it would destroy Lucifer and not Lance? Can Kincaid use heavenly fire to hurt Lucifer?👀
I was so convinced that Joseph would come back I just had a feeling! Oh, I can't wait to see his interaction with Madeleine and how he reacts to what he hears everything she has done. I can see Madeleine believing that it's not really Joseph or at first believing it and after he tells her what she's doing is insane, her being convinced it's a ploy by Lance. But that means his death is a canon event 😭
I am DYING just picturing how the conversation between Max and David planning the trial went. How they came up with using the alliance rune. That would've been an amazing scene, I love these two
Okay, while it was very in character, the Lance/Max interaction I didn't like. Because I feel like Max should have listened to Lance. He was the only person Lance would've told the actual reason to. The only person that could assure Lance that what he did was pointless. He did the same thing with Magnus in LBAF II and the "I hurt the people I love so they should stay away from me" mentality Lance has adopted screams Max so he really should've heard him out. Because it wasn't a "bullshit excuse" it was an actual reason that makes Lance feel bad about himself. And Max had an opportunity to comfort him and ruined it. But Lance needed a good whooping. I hope he talks to David about this. Let David do the comforting part.
Lance being happy about Arthur breaking up with Kincaid, while completely understandable and in character also feels wrong. He should've asked, because Arthur is so terrified and when Lance shut Theia out it was because of very similar reasons. But he wasn't alone in it. He had Gwen and Arthur. Arthur is alone. And he doesn't deserve that. And for a really long time he chose it. He hid it from other people. But now they know. So they have a say in it. To question, to help , to support him. They have an opening now and I really hope they take it. David asking why Arthur broke up with Kincaid made me so happy. I really hope he questions Arthur a little deeper about it. Because Lance and Max won't. And I get why. But someone has to. David really is holding them all together isn't he?
Every other villan in this story doesn't hold a candle to Lucifer. The guy is not here to fuck around. He kept to the point, he didn't have unnecessary dramatics. I can really see why he is considered the smartest out of all of them. Again, he DOES NOT fuck around. And that was crystal clear when Lance said he hates feeling unwanted and Lucifer made it sound like he doesn't want him. He used his insecurity against him and whether he meant it or not it was a very strong start for him to manipulate Lance. Never underestimate Lucifer indeed.
On a happier note, a small reminder that this isn't the first time Lance gives Theia flowers! But it's the first time they reach her-bad Kincaid
I live in Dream Denial Daydream world. It's like Barbie's world, except in this world all the good guys that came back to life can stay with zero consequences and only the assholes have to return to the dead. Some of them sooner than others. Pwease🥺
The Magnus changing the canon event- his dreams going away- Max treating Alec like that are things I have locked away in a little box and I refuse to revisit them until we get to LBAF 7. But Magnus not having these dreams makes me super worried about Other Magnus and the epilogue will probably let us know about what happened. I am so scared about that🙃
I can't believe that we are getting to the end of the first part! It was a wild ride and I loved every minute of it. Anxiously waiting for the epilogue and then it's back to Mavid fluff, I can't wait🥰
AHHHH LBAF ASK FROM VICKY. HEHEHE I LOVE THESE.
Cami and Antoine are indeed the MVPs. Really out there doing what needs to be done. We'll definitely see Antoine and Abby more...Maybe on a double date 👀
This is one of my favourite things about the next season (yeah I am saying it now too). I've been waiting to bring them all together. There's just gonna be a lot of bonding and I'm soooo pumped about it hehe.
Gwen, we missed you 🥹
Knightstorms being cunts, who else is surprised? Hermes and Mikkel is platonic I swear 🤣
They are not connected hehe. But then again I lie all the time so who knows?
Lance having a parabatai is hilarious to me idk why he'll be like "tying my soul to someone ew" But i'd love that for him
I've heard this theory before. I must say it's quite popular 👀
I remember when Joseph died, I let it slip that it's a canon event, I'm glad none of yall remember it kdjnkjsnjkdcs
I NEED A ONE-SHOT.
You're very right about this. It's in character, but it's also not the sensible thing to do. I feel like Other Max would've handled this before (he thinks with his head whereas Current Max very much still thinks with his heart)
Same thing. In character, but like bro why did you do that? I think Lance might have been too relieved to think too deeply about it. But maybe he'll start noticing how the break up affects Arthur? When mavid find out Arthur broke up with Kincaid, Max asks 'when' and David asks 'why' - a small hint there that David is indeed worried and doesn't understand why Arthur would do that. Hopefully they'll have a chat.
Lucifer 🫡
YOU REMEMBERED!
Wouldn't that be nice oof
Yeah all of it not good. very bad. terrible.
Wild ride is definitely right. Thank you for sticking with me through it 🥹🧡

Silverbows and Moonbeams
A crack theory about Rhys' surname. 🏹🌙
Tumblr media
Please don't share or screenshot this post without credit.
Disclaimer: the following is a theory only, about how to possibly combine TOG and CC information into ACOTAR's lore to solve the riddle of Rhys' ridiculous family name. I could very easily be wrong, in which case we can all have a good laugh later on. Let me know your thoughts!
Spoilers: the ACOTAR, CC and TOG series to date (January 2023).
After the Feysand bonus chapter for ACOSF was released, we were given a hint at Rhys' possible family name:
"I'd never name him anything ridiculous." "I don't believe you." I tapped his nose. "Your family name." "Let's not talk about my family name," he said, nipping at my fingertips. I laughed. "Fine." - ACOSF, Feyre's bonus chapter
Apparently it's "ridiculous," whatever that means.
Galathynius, Havilliard & Moonbeam
Even before CC HOSAB and it's intense ending was published, people were discussing the possibility of Rhys' family being connected to fae/people in Erilea, both due to his similar appearance to Dorian Havilliard - not to mention the invisible magical hands - and the fact that Fenrys and Connall Moonbeam can perform a sort of short-range winnowing trick, which wasn't found in any of the other TOG fae (from memory).
In my opinion, Havilliard isn't really ridiculous, though I can see the magical and physical resemblance that Dorian has with Rhys being important down the line (especially because Dorian is descended from an ancient fae line).
Moonbeam would be an amazing surname for a Night Court High Lord who is often described as having stars in his violet eyes, and yes, it's more than a wee bit extravagant. It would also complete his association with the night sky (and yes, I can hear you screaming from here, @merymoonbeam 😅).
@ladynightcourt3 reminded me that another option existed: Galathynius. I hadn't thought of it, because I was assuming any link between Rhys and Aelin would be through Mala Fire Binger and/or her sister Deanna, but Brannon Galathynius was a bastard fae from Wendlyn, so we don't know where his family came from. It's a little silly, but not on the scale of Moonbeam.
Darling
The other prominent option is (and was) "Darling."
Equally ridiculous as Moonbeam in its own way - and by ridiculous I mean cute/silly - Darling has the added bonus of being a massive fuck you to Tamlin whenever Rhys called Feyre "Feyre, Darling." It would be such a fun callback.
Danaan, Donnall & Silverbow
After CC 1 and 2, though, there were new options.
CC 1 introduced us to Ruhn Danaan, Bryce's older half brother, who is the son of the Autumn King, and descended from Avallen royalty through his mother. In addition to sharing shadow-like powers with Rhys and Azriel (though not identical to either Rhys or Az, Ruhn's shadows definitely have a lot of similarities with both of them). When Bryce met Rhys at the end of CC 2, she even noted how similar Rhys and Ruhn were in appearance - almost identical, barring Rhys' darker skin.
Danaan is possibly a play on the word Danann, as in the Tuatha de Danann, and Danann itself seems to derive from the goddess Danu, who is a Mother goddess figure, which could fit with where the plot is going, especially if Theia - or the Starborn fae in general - were associated with the Mother. It also refers to an ancient Greek person.
The reason why I don't think Danaan is the most likely candidate for Rhys' surname is that, despite it not being silly at all, Ruhn inherited it from his father; his links to Avallen - in both appearance and powers - are through his mother.
I do think Danaan (if it is a play on Danann, which has historically been spelt Donann) could still be linked to the surname Donnall, especially given the intermarriage between the ancient fae lines that came to Midgard. However, that transition likely occurred after the Dusk Court arrived, in which case it wouldn't affect Rhys.
Cormac Donnall was the crown prince of the Avallen fae, related to Ruhn through his mother, and to Bryce and Ruhn distantly through their father (the Autumn King). The Avallen people in general seem like they have a pretty strong link to Prythian's current Night Court (possibly through the lost Dusk Court), which includes fashions that Bryce noted were similar between Velaris and Avallen, as well as shadow powers. Cormac could also winnow, and manipulate fire.
A fun fact is that Donnall means "world rule," "world mighty," or "brown-haired fighter." World rule/mighty both sound very appropriate for where the plot is going for both ACOTAR and CC, but it's not a ridiculous name... unless Feyre thinks it's too normal for a High Lord. Or unless Rhys' family name is actually Mighty.
Cormac opened up one other option for us: in his work with the Ophion rebellion his codename was Agent Silverbow, which I think could be promising. There are parallels between Rhys and Cormac that go beyond the winnowing and shadow powers that they share. Both have had to don masks of cold brutality at times, in order to survive in certain situations, yet are capable of true feeling and love, not to mention fighting for a better world and future.
Could Silverbow possibly create a link between the ruling families of Avallen and the Night/Dusk Court? I think so! And maybe with Erilea, too.
The Priestesses of the Mother in Prythian are associated with both silver and the moon.
Crescent moons look like simplified (silver) bows, and moonbeams could be considered arrows from the moon (also known as a bow)... perhaps as an "off-shoot" of the royal line???!!! 🌙🏹
Rhys' family has quite a bit of crescent moon paraphernalia, such as a crown and a diadem. His bargain tattoo with the Weaver in ACOWAR was a crescent moon, just as Feyre's bargain tattoos with the Bone Carver and Bryaxis were of the four phases of the moon with a star in the middle inked down her spine.
Could Cormac's codename have come from the Dusk Court/Theia's line back when it was matrilineal?
Did Donnall come from Pelias, or another male who married in and overhauled the royal line to be patrilineal?
Moonbeam and Silverbow are the two most likely (in my opinion), and if I had to narrow it down further, then I really wouldn't be surprised if Rhys' surname is Silverbow, and the Moonbeams are a cadet branch, of sorts, from way back up Rhys' line. We know there has been mingling of the fae through various rifts, so it's hard to say exactly how the Moonbeams fit in - as @ladynightcourt3 reminded me, Fenrys and Connall descend from Doranelle nobles, could this somehow associate them with the Donnalls as well? - but I think it could be something like this.
Maybe Silverbow and Moonbeam are actually the same name, translated and then evolved in different languages? I don't know, though I hope we learn.
Thoughts?

Day 17 - Sally - Theia + Cahsi - G
Summary: Theia is supposed to go on an outing with her sister, but where is she?
“Where on Hydaelyn is that slippery little sister o’ mine? I’ve looked high ‘n low…” Theia muttered to herself as she lifted up the throw pillows on the couch for the third time. No, still not under there. “She better not’ve bailed on me!” Cahsi was a very busy woman. Being the star’s multi-time savior meant her hands were always kept full, spinning about five plates at once at any given time. But today was a designated quality time trip! That’s supposed to be different. Cahsi was forgetful. Theia loved her with the power of a primal, but that was just a fact, and it had always been the case. Nowadays, the scions or her friends or her creepy glowing mechanical orb thingy would usually keep her updated with her calendar appointments. This was a personal event, so Theia wasn’t sure if Cahsi actually remembered to put it on the books officially. They had dinner together last night, and their farewells had included a quick back and forth of: ‘fishing tomorrow at dawn, don’t forget’. ‘Yeah, yeah, got it.’ ‘You do? You sure?’ Yes, ‘mom’, gods. It’ll happen’
Well, it was supposed to happen now! The sun was starting to crest over the water, damn it! Her front door was unlocked when she checked, so she knew Cahsi used the key and had to be here somewhere. Her wife and kid were asleep, so she’s been trying to keep quiet, but she could scream about now.
This could have been avoided if her sister stayed with her, but no, Cahsi deigned to stay at the inn rather than on her lumpy couch. She was used to roughing it on the ground when on the road adventuring, wasn’t she? She could’ve survived one night in her living room! (It really was quite lumpy, though. Theia got the feeling she knew what her Starlight Celebration gift from her sister was going to be this year).
She would have called her sister on her linkpearl until she picked up, but she didn’t know how to use the dang thing that well if she was being honest. She kept dropping it or losing it, and when she thought she finally got it, no voice came through. She’d already gone through every room in their small home at least twice, so she resorted to going just outside the threshold. There was a way to climb up onto her roof, if she was careful. The trellis was not made to hold the substantial weight of a hrothgar, but though it creaked ominously, it withstood her actions. Cahsi wasn’t really one for jump puzzles, and Theia even less so, but it was worth a shot, and the vantage point could help. After a quick transfer to the awning and a careful shimmy across and up some tiles, she reached the flat part on top of her roof that stuck out. It probably had a name, but did it matter? She really hoped none of her neighbors were awake to see this…
She raised her hand to help shield her eyes from the incoming glare as the sliver of rising sun reflected off the water and straight into her face. There were a decent amount of people milling about outside, seeing as she lived close to the docks. The boat they were supposed to board seemed to be doing a last call. Theia knew her sister wouldn’t have gotten on the ship without her, but she scanned through the group best she could anyway. Cahsi always liked to wear a bright pink floral shirt when they went fishing. She didn’t see any of the folks on board in that, so that ruled out another location. As Theia scanned the horizon and went through place after place–the markets, the guild, the main aetheryte plaza–with no sign of Cahsi, she began to feel the hope within her dim a bit. She knew fishing was not a favorite activity of her sister’s, but Cahsi was the one who implied she wanted to get better and learn more about it from the ‘resident expert fisher’ in her life, so Theia had been excited for this voyage. Now she could see the boat was on its way, too late for them to board. She decided to sit down at the edge of her roof, giving up for now. Cahsi always turned up eventually. Might as well watch the sunrise while she moped. It was beautiful, as it always was.
It must have been a bell later that Theia finally heard her sister’s voice calling for her, much closer than she expected. She must have been too distracted watching the waves to notice her climb up here.  “Here you are! What’re you doing on the roof?” Theia pointedly did not answer her, nor turn around to meet her sister’s eye at first. She was mad at her. After Cahsi got sick of waiting and snuck up behind her to give her a hug, Theia lightly slapped her hands away, stood up, and turned around so she could tower over her.
“Cassowary Gardner! Where have you been!?” Her tone was stern, and she did nothing to hide her scowl.
She was so ticked that she let slip her sister’s original name. Er, well, as original as it got, since neither of them knew her birth last name. Cahsi didn’t actually mind getting called that, she’d told her that when she explained her name change post-Calamity, but Theia could tell by the look on her face that it felt weird to her. Well, right back at you, Cassowary! It still took her off guard when someone would refer to ‘miss Theia’ and meant the warrior of light, rather than herself. She felt honored that Cahsi chose her name when she thought she’d died, but it was a bit awkward when she turned out to be alive after all. Cahsi’s face, meanwhile, had transformed into a sheepish smile. Good! Maybe she felt properly chastised for once. Theia had used her ‘mom voice’ on instinct–the one that always made Cassowary drop whatever bug she was about to eat or sneak into her dress pocket as a child. She was getting more use out of it these days, her own kid in that phase where he shied from affection and thought being rude made him more grown up. While Cahsi had balked at first, she quickly recovered, remembering she was the powerful one these days and no longer a little kid. She still did look apologetic, at least. “Sorry, sorry! I got caught up in something…” “The only things that were supposed to be caught today were some spectacular, scaly, sea critters!” She crossed her arms and tapped her foot, waiting for a continuation.
“I can see that you’re mad, but I already checked in with a kind dock worker, and there’ll be another ship leaving today in about a bell. Which is actually a bit wild, because I didn’t think this was that big of a tourist attraction? Multiple ships a day? Or are there really that many fishermen out there? I know this is Limsa, but I somehow managed to avoid too much of that scene, the bars were more the scene, you know I had waitressing gigs here and there. Oh, and the arcanast’s guild was close by to the dock we have to depart from, but their basement always smelled more of books, which was definitely fortuitous for me because I spent a lot of time down there back when I was practicing–”
“Cas. Please.” Her patience was a bit worn thin now, no time for run-ons and rambling. If they only had the timeframe of a bell to work with and Cahsi still looked woefully underdressed and prepared, then they’d need to get back down into her house soon to rectify this.  “Ok, fine. Duty called, alright?” “Before the sun even rose?” “Listen, monsters don’t care what time of day it is, they’ll attack when they feel like it! But no, nothing so dire as that. I made it here with enough time to spare! I got as far as unlocking your door and was going to wait inside, get some coffee, read the morning paper. But then! I heard a ruckus, and a call for help.” “...And you went into hero mode.” “And I went into hero mode.” Cahsi nodded sagely and shrugged. Theia sighed. Much as she wanted to keep being angry for her sister being late, putting others’ needs above her own family’s, she couldn’t help but be proud of her sister going out of her way to help those in need. It was like pulling teeth getting her to do her chores when she was younger, let alone offer assistance to a stranger. Cassowary had been selfish, not the type to help someone with groceries or track down someone’s lost cat (her sister told her a lot of stories about her random quests; the girl complained a lot about these mundane tasks, but she still did them)--and Cahsi may still have had plenty of moments of being an asshole, but she was kind, too. She gravitated toward those in need, and Theia was happy she helped regular folk even in the little ways, rather than only when the entire star or a nation was at stake.
Cahsi had continued in the meantime, unaware that she was already forgiven. “I regret that it ended up making me late, especially when this was important to you, but think of what would have happened if I wasn’t there! One snatched purse turned into a whole ordeal that involved talking to numerous other people having similar problems, and one thing led to another, I had to conduct an investigation–anyroad. It’s taken care of. That guy won’t be stealing from sweet little old ladies like Sally again. There’s a lot of happy people in hawker’s alley right now. But I lost track of time, and by the time I realized, the boat was long gone.” She let out a deep breath and tacked on, “I’m sorry.” Theia pulled Cahsi into a quick hug and ruffled her hair, messing it up. With an indignant squawk, Cahsi shooed her away and started making her way down the awning. “Forgiven, nerd. Try not to pull it again when we’ve got a time sensitive plan on the books, but I can’t fault you for random people being in need of a hero. Just remember there are others willing to help–it doesn’t always have to be you.” She paused to make sure Cahsi absorbed her words, then clapped her hands together. “Now! Why don’t we ‘Sally’ forth then, hmm? Get dressed in boat appropriate attire, and I’ll get the poles ready. The new boat’s not going to wait for us all day! If we miss another, I’m disowning you.”
“Ha! We’ll only miss the new boat if your old bones can’t keep up. Need some help down to the ground, grandma?”
Theia was half tempted to jump down and force her to catch her. ‘A test of her reflexes’, so to speak. She knew Cahsi would catch her. But she really wasn’t so young anymore after all, and better to leave her back intact for this trip.
“This ‘grandma’ is going to ‘school’ you, on that boat! I’m going to catch so many more big fish than you, you’ll be crying like a ‘shoal’ loser when you can’t even collect enough scripts with your guppies to buy a single materia.
“Argh, not the fish puns! Anything but that!”
“Get prepared for a bunch more, because we’re going to have a ‘fin’tastic time trapped on a boat together for half the day!”

Rose bloom in a mud field–Elain–The Middle
Okay listen...I had this theory that elain would be trapped in the prison but what if it is actually the middle?
The reasons are Elain asked Amren about changing her body and if she could have chosen a male body instead. You have to read the first post I tagged to understand it as a whole.
But basically amren says this
Her brows narrowed. “I had to give something up. I had to give me up. To walk out, I had to become something else entirely, something the Prison would not recognize. So I—I bound myself into this body.” (acowar)
And we have the elain scene in acofas asking questions.
Mor opened her mouth, laughter dancing on her face, but Elain asked, “Could you have done it? Decided to take a male form?” The question cut through the laughter, an arrow fired between us. Amren studied my sister, Elain’s cheeks red from our unfiltered talk at the table. “Yes,” she said simply. “Before, in my other form, I was neither. I simply was.” “Then why did you pick this body?” Elain asked, the faelight of the chandelier catching in the ripples of her golden-brown braid. “I was more drawn to the female form,” Amren answered simply. “I thought it was more symmetrical. It pleased me.” Mor frowned down at her own form, ogling her considerable assets. “True.” Cassian snickered. Elain asked, “And once you were in this body, you couldn’t change?” Amren’s eyes narrowed slightly. I straightened, glancing between them. Unusual, yes, for Elain to be so vocal, but she’d been improving. Most days, she was lucid—perhaps quiet and prone to melancholy, but aware. Elain, to my surprise, held Amren’s gaze. Amren said after a moment, “Are you asking out of curiosity for my past, or your own future?” The question left me too stunned to even reprimand Amren. The others, too. Elain’s brow furrowed before I could leap in. “What do you mean?” “There’s no going back to being human, girl,” Amren said, perhaps a tad gently. “Amren,” I warned. Elain’s face reddened further, her back straightening. But she didn’t bolt. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I’d never heard Elain’s voice so cold. (acofas)
And as you can see elain is confused when it is asked about going back to human. So what if it is something else. But again pls read the linked post it would make more sense when you read that.
At this point of the story I thought maybe elain would become trapped in the prison...but what if it is actually the middle instead?
We have this in acosf:
“The Middle is full of primal magic. It has its own rules and laws. Hunt the kelpies or lightsingers without provocation and you might find yourself trapped here.” (acosf)
So if you hunt something in there without provocation...you can get trapped. We have lightsinger theory for a certain character...just saying.
And I think hofas gave us a great reason to get back to the middle...fionn'd died there. He was killed there.
As if the land had died with its king.
And we know fionn had the Gwydion and later Truth-Teller when enalius died.
My father had never shown himself to be giving—long had he kept Gwydion and never once offered it to my mother. The dagger that had belonged to his dear friend, slain during the war, hung at his side, unused. But not for long.
Elain is the only female to use Truth-Teller in acotar. So...what if we have to go back there to find an answer to all of it. Sarah loves to use ancient people and their memories as a whole to explain the history(example...silene) so what if we need fionn and his memories?
Also...I cant help but make this connection.
Acowar elain
Devlon let out a grunt at the sight of her. But Elain wrapped her own blue cloak around herself, averting her eyes from all of those towering, muscled warriors, the army camp bustling toward the horizon … She was a rose bloom in a mud field. Filled with galloping horses.
Acosf the middle
Islands of grass dotted the expanse, some so crowded with brambles that he could find no safe place to land. The tangles of thorns were a mockery of what might have been—as if Oorid had ever produced roses. Not a single flower bloomed.
Hofas bog when fionn died
A dark-haired, pale creature that could have been the relative of the nøkk in Jesiba’s gallery dragged a bound and gagged Fionn into the inky depths of the bog, the once-proud king screaming as he went under. Horror rooted Bryce to the spot. Theia and Pelias stood at the water’s edge, faces impassive. Petals began falling from the trees. Leaves with them. Birds took flight. As if sudden winter gripped the bog. As if the land had died with its king.
So elain and the middle???
Also another point is...the avallen island was like the prison island because Helena hid 1/3 of theia's power there and once bryce claimed that power...the island went back to what it was.
Helena had bound the soul of this land in magical chains. No more. No more would Bryce allow the Fae to lay claim over anything. “You’re free,” Bryce whispered to Avallen, to the land and the pure, inherent magic beneath it. “Be free.” And it was.
It was no longer gray and thrashing, but a vibrant, clear turquoise. And rising from the water, just as they had seen on the map Declan had found, were islands, large and small. Lush and green with life. Forests erupted on the island they stood on, soon joined by mountains and rivers.
So what if fionn did the same before he died? What if the middle is the way it is bc before he died...he bound himself to it so the magic of the land was bound?
And we need elain to free the land? As bryce did to avallen?
