While I feel like people can ship whatever they want the delusion with which cockles/destiel shippers operate is truly extraordinary. Some of them are using JIB con as a coming out of Jensen and and taking every look and joke as something significant when it comes to his relationship with Misha. It does seem like Jensen's significance is only important as long as Misha is involved which is sad. These ppl don't care about him or his career. Has the shippers always been this annoying.

I do think they have fed off each other and escalated over time, but they've been creepily delusional for a good long while now.

In the end, what this same reaction after every Jibcon actually shows? Is just how absurdly non-existent their ships are that they're so desperate to insist every interaction between Misha and Jensen is for realz totes legit sexual. They really mean those typical goofy dude innuendos all of the cast make with each other! But it's ~*serious*~ between Jensen and Misha and ONLY those two because ... uhhh ... reasons!

They get that Jensen talking about injecting his kids with tracking devices is a joke. More pointedly, they get that Jared and Misha talking about creating a joint Only Fans is a joke. They get Jared and Misha weren't serious when they said Sam and Castiel not having more scenes was because their sizzling chemistry would end in Jensen being written out of the show. Instead of salivating over it as they would have with Jensen? They're even trying to turn Jared and Misha physically horsing around and mutually laughing about the hours of outtake footage of them doing the same during that one episode into Jared ~*assaulting*~ Misha.

But Jensen making fun of Misha's haircut and riffing on Misha's typically pervy joke after he assures the audience he doesn't mean the insult? OMG, Jensen must have really wanted to kiss Misha!!! Jensen having trouble remembering lyrics and suggesting Misha help compose a song turning into Misha bitterly whining about not being included in the bridge scene again and Jensen using it to get to a line about them being together on stage in Rome to end the song? OMG detestiel lurve song!!! Jensen joking his wife calls Misha her boyfriend and he does too after Misha perv comments on something Jensen said about her? OMG, Jensen is coming out!!! Etc.

I mean, seriously, their standard is basically, "If Jensen doesn't get mad and/or make fun of Misha it's proof of their TWUE LURVE!!!". Of course, when Jensen does get mad, relentlessly mock Misha, or the two of them are just terminally awkward? That's proof they're just really good at hiding their TWUE LURVE that day, so.

Jared and Misha (or Jensen and Jared) could do an hour long live action porn together on stage every single convention and hellers/cockless shippers would insist it was just a joke while crowing about Jensen and Misha being within six feet of each other and making eye contact for five seconds.
