also I've been working on my oc's/Maple's design and I'm really enjoying the work and progress!

I haven't gotten any farther than designing the base of the coat and some small ideas written down here and there abt what I want/possible ideas to consider. but I'm really happy with the small amount of progress I have made!!

in the end I'm probably gonna end up with more than one outfit cos there's so many design elements I like vs. which designs look good together. I might post some WIP's soon cos I'm really excited with where I'm going with this.

I'd prefer if they were digital but with my current setup that's not possible rn. and for someone who's years out of drawing practice, I'm really happy with how things are turning out!!

1. why did you choose your url?

it's from the french words "la monnaie," which basically means small change. i found the word amusing when i first learnt it a while ago and i've been using it as a username practically everywhere ever since :]

technically no? i set up the ao3 feed for the dangerous romance tag on a sideblog pretty much just for my own convenience, but that doesn't rlly count lol

i've been lurking on tumblr since ~2015, when you could actually use the website pretty functionally even without an account, but i only made this account in 2020.

i do! it's just "q" (although it's empty right now because i haven't been on much 😩😩)

i finally made a tumblr account after 5 yrs of lurking because of this one niche movie that had somewhat of a fandom on here and i wanted to interact lol

because fairy lights !! they're pretty :))

I've followed you for so long now, since you were 16 iirc (I never remember my own age at past points) so that'd be eight years according to your bio. Not technically continuously since I changed accounts during that time and also was inactive sometimes, but y'know. You had the sunshinesel[redacted] url then I think, or maybe you switched to that URL soon after I followed. I vaguely recall your blog and icon being very orange, the icon might've been a pokemon? Not sure. Since, you've gone thru URL and icon changes (I think you recently changed the latter again, probably for spooky month) and changed pronouns and ofc dropped part of your name, yet you're one of the very few ppl who have (permanently) changed url & icon whom I'm still able to recognise successfully. The only other one I can currently think of has a very memorable name I love that they've never changed since I first followed them so while I don't instantly recognise them on my dash, as soon as I look at their bio I know who it is. I'm not even sure why I never lost track of who you are, I think you've just been consistently posting while I'm on (I'm also German so y'know, time zones) basically the entire time so you were kinda always there, not as like a major component (I don't think we were ever even mutuals but I defo sent some (anon, cuz I'm shy) asks back in the day) but just always there, a fixed point, ein Fels in der Brandung, so all together the changes were gradual to me.
