Thank you :) Ugh I know the feeling as I really thought that I wasn't going to get it until the release date. I really disagree with the way they've played this and made people feel shit about it. I hope that everyone else gets it very soon whether that's by global release or crack.

idk why but i had to reinstall after i moved the path of my origins folder. it was inside my sims folder and i like it to have its own folder and not be in the same place as the whole game. i kept trying to adjust it manually in EA but it refused to see anything. talk about a bother!!!

still adding mods back in...watching my load time get slower and slower and slower. i'm nearly at 6gb and i haven't even added in skins. i don't want to eliminate more mods. i know my max is around 7ish. so. it's stupid hair and clothing and shoes. why must they be

if anyone has a laptop that actually runs ts4 with at least 20gb of cc and genuinely runs? not battery dying as you play and little to no lag time can you tell me what you own? (cost requested. no limit bc i have no idea what exists. my computer is from 2019)

dollish! another star cc. she haaaated it at first and bc everyone is her caretaker everyone keeps taking her out and setting her down. so i have to go back and make them put her back in the jumper! i did have that lock highchair cc. it should be expanded to apply to things like this!

it was haaaaaaaard to get her to fall asleep in the cc. but if everyone ignored her it would be easier, lol

100% aware that this number is trifling to most people. however! my computer is....between 5-7yr old. 8gb ram. i just rp the battery.

playing the sims (at reduced everything AND laptop mode) still drains my brand new battery. brand new!

it is also laggy af and i need to remove like 8gb

i have no idea what to remove. i know the answer is remove cc! but...idk. i have so much cc i don't want to part withhhhhh!!!!! cc i *might* use. YOU DON'T KNOW. IT COULD HAPPEN.

also not signing up for sims patreons (i still am unhappy some creators seem to never change their patreon to free 6-8mo later) and dl-ing large swathes of content. i had a whole couch plan in my head i was going to explore but NO. NO LONGER

please know i have ZERO idea if adding more ram solves the problem. truly. rp my battery was so stressful. i even did it right and didn't realise bc i didn't think about charging up a new battery. i took laptop and battery to ufix it. they very kindly put it back in (i'd taken it out bc i was convinced i fucked it up). however! the nice ufixit man offered to rp my screws bc i had 4. so he rp one screw so efficiently it burst through the top part of my laptop and stuck out and i couldn't put my hand down. i had it removed. there is now a tiny hole on the top of my laptop. he felt bad and offered to buy a special putty to fill the hole. i told him not to bother bc the correct screw (that i provided) covered the bottom of the hole.

did i mention i *specifically* bought asus screws designated to work with my exact kind of asus. which was a hilarious flop bc none of them fit.

this might be one of my favourite pieces of toddler cc. i don't know that i even have a reason because the toddler kinda stands there and pushes back and forth. i find it adorable beyond belief. and then the shh! buff after!!! i will even admit that despite playing since the original sims in...march 2000...i didn't realise this wasn't decorative until this past winter!?

i also am obsessed when they wear the baby in the front! SO CUTE. i can't even stand it.

they're just boring to me once they are older. i need validation! be dependent on me! love me! i just need to learn to keep it in game and not try to do it irl. which is why i have a great therapist and am a getting better absolute mess of a human.

(i guess that's my thing. i have pictures and explain them and then talk about myself unnecessarily bc i love spreading out the burden so it is less for me. in theory. not really.)

last days with my favs. i'm sad bc i am not invested in children or teens. they're so boring!!!!

i'm not a make up a plot person for my sims. my brain doesn't work that way. i feel weird even writing a post as if i were my sim. i'm too self conscious to relax in a way that would allow it??? for me it is i have a sim called audrina. she has to make 100 babies. the end!?

i'm making it so audrina has triplets bc i love how hard it is. i even have mods to make parenting more difficult. i never want my own children but sim children are perfection. esp when you can make parenting super hard. i'd make it 10x harder than it is now. it's kinda whatever. it's only hard if you have multiples. i like 100 babies bc audrina cannot go anywhere w/o the kids!

i keep trying and trying to do generational challenges. however, if i have more than 1 child i end up being unable to pick between some of them and end up either moving them in together (which never really works) or they each get their own save?

i know it says pick the youngest or the 2nd child or whatever.

BUT WHAT IF YOU WANT TO SEE ANOTHER KID!? YOU BREAK YOUR GENERATIONAL GAME BC YOU GET DISTRACTED AND NEVER GO BACK!
