Actually here is an excuse to go off Abt thrashgrace; ur portrayal of their relationship is really interesting to me? Thrashers loves, adores scapegrace, and does not argue with his unkind gestures. Spacegrace loves thrasher, but is so. Mean to him? Citing ur 'he puts out his cigs on thrasher', I'm just really curious about what's going on with em how you portray them? /Genuine interest I might be bad at wording things

obviously thrasher is obsessed with scapegrace in a crazy way everyone knows that. i think part of why he puts up with being treated like shit because even bad attention from scapegrace is still attention⭐ like in the beginning tgeres definitely weird magic zombie attachment there which is why he calls scapegrace "master" and "sir" but since scapegrace's urge to serve seemed to wear off after getting his brain moved around i must assume thrasher's did too. especially considering in book 9 he called scapegrace by his first name and suggested they be equals, which i dont think he would have done when he was still under the influence of necromancer magic. And! i think thrasher loved him separately from his instinct to serve him because none of the other zombies really gave that much of a shit about scapegrace. so thrasher was always a faggot, being zombified just skewed it in a creepy direction. <- that got really long. what im trying to say is thrasher has mental problem and if he doesnt get to follow around his favorite guy who hates him he'll DIE

as for scapegrace 🌠. well. he also has mental problem but completely in the other direction. And This Part Got Really Long so im putting it under a cut🙏

to understand scapegrace's relationship to thrasher we must first examine his relationship to everyone else he's ever interacted with. he spends his first few appearances getting beaten into a pulp, all his old friends hate him, and then he gets killed, and then he has to walk around with all his appendages falling off and he finds out he's going to rot to death and everyone tries to beat him up again, he's beheaded and thrown into a body he didn't want, everyone sexualises and misgenders him, and he has one moment at the very end of phase 1 where nobody is being mean to him because they need him to do that thing in the necropolis. nobody is nice to him ever and he has no friends and everyone is always whaling on him and nothing good happens to him for like. eight years. the difference between scapegrace in playing with fire and scapegrace in mortal coil is SO JARRING hes like a whole different (much worse) person which does tend to happen when you relentlessly run someones self worth into the ground for multiple years. all this to say, scapegrace's feelings about thrasher are an absolutely vile combination of envy, mistrust, possessiveness, aggression and repressed homoromanticism so all in all he's not really having a good time🌠 he hates thrasher because despite their similarities (general incompetency, talking too much, poor social skills), nobody else is as harsh on thrasher about it as they were on scapegrace. but! he likes having thrasher around because 1. thrasher worships the ground he walks on and 2. he gets to be an asshole to someone without fear of getting his teeth kicked in. and he can never ever ever let his guard down and be nice because if he shows weakness he risks losing his only source of positive attention and/or physical repercussion such as the above mentioned kicking ^. (he doesnt really but in his mind this is always a looming threat.)

In conclusion: scapegrace puts his cigarettes out on thrasher because thats the safest way for him to get close and thrasher lets him because the cigarette was in scapegrace's mouth at one point and that's basically kind of like kissing🖤🚬

💥 I'm a Marvel Girl. I love those tormented superheroes and antiheroes. I basically grew up watching Marvel since Iron Man came out in 2008 and I immersed myself fully in the world of the comics, I have a lot of comics and books on my bookshelf 🤭. My favorites are: Iron Man ♥️, Captain America, Spider-Man, Loki, the X-Men, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, in all their presentations and with all their charms and defects!.

I love it K-Dramas like Goblin: The lonely and great God, Crash landing on you, Tale of the Nine Tailed 😋, I have also watched many animes like Sailor Moon, Ouran High School Host Club, Toradora, Code Geass, Inuyasha, Kaleido Star, Shaman King, Attack on Titan... it's a long list and I don't remember everything at this moment 🤔. Miraculous Ladybug (I know it's for kids, but ... there is Chat Noir 🖤).

🐉In my House of the Dragon era 🖤: Like many people, I was also terribly disappointed with the horrible ending of Game of Thrones, but I really loved Fire and Blood when I read it in 2020... so I decided to give the serie a chance when I saw the first trailer... and I don't regret it! 🥳. I liked Daemon and Rhaenyra so much in the book and absolutely loved them in the TV Show! (Matt and Emma are incredible! ❣️). Another character that I loved in the book and the one I always wanted to know more about was Jacaerys Velaryon and I must say that I am very pleased with the choice of Harry Collett 😍 (oh yeah baby! 🔥).

I started taekwondo when I was maybe 9 (?) and it took maybe 4 or 5 years but I worked my way up and earned my black belt, I wanna say it was about a 3 hour long test and it was hard to push myself to do it, but after lots of hard work and determination I got there, and I'm proud of myself for that lol

⛰️-  What was the hardest part?

I answered a version of this earlier, so I'll talk about what's hard for me right now. I think part of it is I tend to be kind of hard on myself when things take actual time?? to write??? like I said before, I have no idea how the fuck I thought I'd have everything done in one month now lmao. but lately I keep trying to remind myself that the only timetable that exists is the one that I keep trying to impose on myself in my head, and that one is way more flexible than I get myself all anxious about sometimes. especially coming up this semester, when I'm going to have like six weeks starting in march where I won't be able to write anything close to what my output has been because I'll be needing to write for my actual qualifying exams lmao. I know the people who have been kind enough to read this story will stick around if they want to, and if they come back later at one point and catch up on things bc they get caught up other places now that we're not in spooky season per se, that's fine by me. <3 it's still better than just keeping it all in my head to myself lmao. but people also seem to be really looking forward to more stuff with Hex, so I'm hoping plenty of people will still be hanging around for his turn!!

⭐- What’s a scene/paragraph you’re proud of?

you were one of the first people to tell me Hex was your favorite :) so here, have a piece from the snippet I had to cut from spellbound (reprise) that I'm hoping to post in a bit when it can stand on its own more:

[In 500 feet, veer beyond the veil.]

“You better have a damn good reason for this little detour.”

Hector didn’t have to look at Rora as he drove. The bright green tendrils that oozed off her in his peripheral vision told him she was watching him from across the car like he was a particularly interesting taxidermy specimen.

Like she couldn’t decide whether to plunge him in formaldehyde, or let him writhe in pain a little while longer.

He smiled to himself. It felt like home.

“A promise is a promise,” he muttered, his attention divided between the harshly bright cracked screen of his phone and the softer glowing figures that were meandering up and down this particular stretch of road.

It was a shabby little farm-to-market road from a more prosperous time in the state’s history - the pavement was barely in one piece, still, and there were no streetlights to speak of this far out.

That had everything to do with how many of them got here, he figured, some of them still sporting the oversaturated silver of their mortal wounds. There was a surprising range for such an out-of-the-way stretch: a man in a suit with the sharp lines of the Prohibition era, riddled with bullet holes; some scraped-up teenage boy in a torn leather jacket and pomade-sticky hair who was missing half his face; a cheerleader in a crushed 1980s bouffant with a six inch shard of windshield glass sticking out of her left eye. They were trapped here, in this desolate little nowhere, like cockroaches frozen under misapplied paint.

He didn’t always understand how - not yet - but they were proof that pain could bind a spirit as easily as sever one.

Their expressions ranged from dazed confusion to agony, only changing when they realized he could meet their gaze. When they saw him see them, their faces were almost always uniform: the same wide eyes, the same warped mouths as they echoed a cry for help that had never been heard.

He kept his eyes firmly on the road as he passed a young barefoot woman in a mid-century tea dress, her face swollen with mercury-colored bruises and a crumpled, spattered bundle clutched desperately to her chest. But his lips silently formed a prayer from his mother’s house as easily as breathing.

All of these were beyond help, no matter how desperate.

He was only here for the one he could still fix.

It was my first time writing from Hector's perspective, and I'm really looking forward to working out how his Sight functions just on a regular basis!! :) looking forward to sharing the rest with you soon!
