YOU'RE MINE, CARA MIA 🕸️📌
(Jealous!Wednesday x Fem!reader)
> You are her love, no one else makes her feel the way you do. You have made the young Addams fall hard for you.
Tumblr media
🕸️ It seems like Xavier has been flirting with you, And you were maybe a little to oblivious to see it since Xavier has always been this nice to everyone, or at least that's what you think.
📍What Wednesday saw was red. Red. She did not like the way he interacted with you. It makes her wanna commit unspeakable offenses to him.
—–·—–·—–·—–·—–·—–·—–·—–·—–·—–·—–·—
You we're quietly reading a book [that Wednesday happened to gift you] while waiting for your love to arrive.
While you were reading you felt a presence behind you. As you were about to turn around to see who it was, they put an arm over your shoulder and leaned closer to you.
They did it so quick that you couldn't even register any of their actions. You would be lying if you said that the sudden action didn't startle you.
"Y/N, hey!" Oh, it was just Xavier. "Oh, hey. You startled me a little" you awkwardly laughed, closing the book you were reading.
"aw, shit sorry" Xavier gave you an apologetic smile. "Hey, it's fine. Don't sweat it" you laughed it off as to not make him feel too bad.
"So, whatcha doin' in here, all alone?" He asked sitting beside you. He was a little too close so you moved a little to the side to make some room, you didn't really like the fact that he was so close.
Oh boy was that a bad idea. You hadn't realized that you moved a little too much, causing you to slip. You were expecting a nasty crash but to your surprise, you didn't fall at all.
You opened your eyes to see Xavier holding your arm so you wouldn't fall. "Gotcha" Xavier said giving a playful wink and pulling you back up.
"Oh haha, thanks! You really saved me there." You say giving him a smile. "No problem" he says giving you somewhat of a flirtatious smile.
"Oh uhm back to your question, I'm actually waiting for Wednesday" You spoke. Xavier was too enticed by your soothing voice that it took him some time to register what you just said.
"Xavier? Hellooo, Xavier? You good?" You questioned him, waving a hand in front of his face.
Xavier soon broke out of his trance. "Oh- uh, really?" He stuttered out. His face as red as a red spider Lily.
"You seem tense, you okay?" You asked genuinely concerned. Xavier has been suspected to be the Hyde even with no evidence, you thought that maybe he's been getting distracted because of all the allegations.
"Yes- no- uh, I'm not feeling too well-..." He replied, scratching the back of his neck. He stayed quiet for a bit as he was thinking of what to say next.
"Do you want to...I don't know uhm, come with me to the nurses office? I wanna make sure I don't have the flu or something" he chuckled, he was very much hoping for you to say yes.
"Oh! Well-" just before you could finish your sentence, Somebody cut you off. "No. She will not accompany you. You're old enough to go by yourself, Xavier."
Wednesday. Wednesday was the one who cut you off. You were glad that she finally arrived – and for saving you so that you wouldn't have to come with Xavier.
To be completely honest, you didn't want to come with him. It's not that you hate him, no. You just felt like something was gonna happen if you did happen to come with him.
"Wednesday?" "Xavier." The burning fire in Wednesdays eyes. She looked like a venomous snake about to attack it's enemy. They both looked at each other with such intense gazes that you felt the need to stop them before things get...dirty.
"Hello Wen!" You say with a closed eye smile in attempt to subside the tension. "Hello, N/N." She moved her gaze from Xavier and back to you. Her Intense gaze softened, your plan worked.
"Is this idiot bothering you? - yes? Well, don't worry, he won't be around to bother you any longer." She says, she looked like she was planning something.
Knowing Wednesday, she was probably thinking of a plan to somehow harm Xavier. "No! no! Uhm we were just talking, that's all!" You smiled, trying to convince her that he didn't bother you. Otherwise, It would be bye bye Xavier.
"Yeah! and I was just trying to-" Wednesday, once again cut him off. "Shut your mouth. I didn't ask you." She says glaring at him "Plus, I see the way you look at sweet N/N."
'Sweet?' wow, a lot of things were going on in your head. Did she really just call you sweet? It was such a surprise, considering the fact that she doesn't even like calling you lovey dovey names, she usually calls you by your name or by your Nickname.
"I saw everything. From when you startled her to when you asked her to accompany you to the clinic. I know your intensions, Xavier."
Wednesdays already cold gaze became even colder as she stared at him. Xavier felt a shiver run down his spine. "You wanted to confess to her, didn't you?" She says folding her arms in front of her chest.
"well- uh- fuck! Forget it! You ruined my plans!" Xavier says stomping off angrily. Wednesday soon glanced at you, oh shit. This is the day I die. You thought.
You started to pray Inside your head. "Calm down. I'm not gonna kill you, let alone hurt you." She says letting her arms fall to her side.
"thanks? By the way, me and Xavie-" Wednesday shushed you and told you that she saw everything. Oh, and to not say that idiots name.
Wednesday tugged- no, pulled you closer to her. You've never been so close to her before. You enclosed the remaining gap by pulling her in for a hug. It was quite tense at first but, both of you melted into it quickly.
Just as both of you were enjoying the silence, she whispered something in your ear that made your face burn up in heat.
"You're mine, cara mia."
a/n:
Okay, everything was so tense but I somehow managed to push through (´ . .̫ . `)
I wrote this at like 12 a.m so my grammar is just kinda everywhere. Like I don't even know what I'm saying (。•́︿•̀。)
Again, I didn't proofread it so I apologize for any mistakes and such
As always, Thankyou for reading, I luv u all!!! xoxo 🎀 - unforgettwble-sumii

Hey I was wondering if you could do like Wednesday x fem yn but like Wednesday trying to tell mortica and gomez she has a gf and not knowing how they'd react and edin trys to help her and in the end they find out somehow you can pick if they take it good or bad but yea
Tumblr media
A/n: I’ve seen this get asked to another person but I’m too proud of what I had already written to throw it away.
The crystal ball upon Wednesday’s desk taunted her with the impending call from her parents. Wednesday was something she hadn’t been in a long time; worried. The last time she had spoken with her parents, a lot had changed and one of the most recent and most prominent changes was that she had found herself a girlfriend.
How you met was the typical run of the mill meet cute, Wednesday was caught doing something she wasn’t meant to and she threatened to take your tongue, vocal chords and hands should you ever rat her out. Your response? “You’re beautiful.” Ever since then you had been constantly drawn to the chaos that was Wednesday Addams and not once has the thought of ever letting you go crossed her wicked mind. She was happy, a word she never thought she’d use in a lifetime but truly, for the first time in a long time she was happy. You made the insides of her hollow husk of a human vessel warm.
You lit a match and threw it upon her coal heart, setting it ablaze with the very foundations of life as the fires reflected in her dark eyes. You were her cara mia as she was your mon cher. For you Wednesday would die for you, kill for you, even live for you should you command it of her. It was moments like those that she began to see how alike she was to her father; Unhealthy obsessed with the object of their eternal attraction. So unhealthy in fact the pair might possibly be clinically insane with their love. However not even a highly facilitated psychiatric ward would be able to prevent Wednesday from coming back to you.
For she would have it burnt to the ground in your name as though she were a crazed religious fanatic, pleading her love to the only form of higher power that ever truly existed; You. If she had it her way, you’d both would’ve carved out and calcified your beating hearts for the other, to have and to hold until you were both cold and dead within the ground that would make up your grave. You would now and forever more belong to Wednesday as she would belong to you until the dark forces swelled you both whole; snuffing out your mortal flame for good.
So as Wednesday clamped down on her finger nails, bitting them right down to the nub and then some, Enid couldn’t help but feel concerned for her friend as she stared vehemently at her -seemingly- only form of communication with a look in her eyes. “What’s chomping you at the bit.” Enid asked, begrudging to know the answer but knew that Wednesday was in a situation where a friend was something that she could use right now. “My parents will be calling soon.” Wednesday merely said, not taking her eyes off of the crystal ball as though she was awaiting for it to go off.
“That’s great! Unless your relationship with them is questionable at best then that’s…not great.” Enid trails off when she began to notice that she wasn’t helping in making the situation any better even in the slightest. However the blonde wasn’t one to give up even in the face of adversity, Enid presses onward and upward. “My parents only sent me here to mold me in their image, to forge a carbon copy of themselves out of me by the time inn through with this place,” Enid stayed silent, “I get sent to the same dormitory my mother once resided, I have premonitions like she does.” Wednesday falls silent as her fists clenched in silent anguish.
“However I am not my mother, nor will I ever be like her because unlike her I have a heart to give and I gave it to y/n upon a moonlight night; the same night where the crows dropped dead before us and black dahlias bloomed by our feet.” Enid smiled warmly, remembering the twinkle in Wednesday’s eyes when she came back to the dome after her first official date with you down by the greenhouse. It was a dangerous twinkle but a twinkle none the less, Wednesday could’ve told her that you had a sparing match that ended with the tips of your blades poised at the others throat and the werewolf would’ve still somehow find it romantic.
“Now I am seemingly at an impasse with the illogical concerns of how my parents would react to me engaging in romantic circumstances with another girl, despite being well aware of their stances on societal demands.” Wednesday admitted, not use to feeling this vulnerable in front of another person but at this point in their relationship, Wednesday trusted Enid -despite how much of a gossip she could be- a smidge more then she did the rest of the student body that made up Nevermore. So if anything, this was Wednesday’s silent cry for Enid’s help and luckily she wasn’t overly dense to not notice.
“Wednesday,” Enid began as she moved over to stand by her friends’ side, “what your parents think shouldn’t reflect upon your relationship with y/n. You love her and she loves you, so why ruin a perfectly good thing by listening to what you parents think.” She places her hands on Wednesday’s shoulders and made sure that they were meeting eye to eye. “Never, not once, since I’ve came to know you had you given a shit about what others thought of you. So why give a shit now?” Wednesday has to admit, Enid was right. Why should she all of a sudden care when all she’s ever done thus far was deflect other peoples opinion on her. It made no logical sense but she guessed that now that you were in the picture with her; Wednesday worries about her parents perception of you.
Just as Enid was about to continue with her speech, the crystal ball went off and within the clear cut glass could the image of Gomez’ stout figure and Morticia’s taller frame could be seen as though they were actually trapped within the crystal itself. Upon seeing their daughter, Gomez and Morticia sat up straighter and smiled at Wednesday who only stared blankly at them, blinking slowly like a cat does when trying to convey their emotions to their owners. “There’s my little death moth, how’s Nevermore been treating you?” Gomez started as Morticia only took in her daughter’s expressions with a curious furrow in her brow but she didn’t speak upon it. Yet.
“Same as usual, however-“ “however you have found love, with a girl perhaps?” Wednesday straightened at her mother’s words. “How did you-“ “call it a mother’s intuition my dear death blossom.” Morticia’s unnerving voice cut her off as she looked to Gomez who was already looking at her, love sick. “Our daughter has found love Gomez, the ancestors must’ve blessed her already.” Gomez only grasped Morticia’s hand that rested on the chair arm tightly. “That’s amazing ‘tish, our little cope has found her forever mouse to play with until she too becomes a viper, until she becomes an Addams.” Wednesday perks up at this, her parents were indirectly giving you their blessing to marry her, to join your soul with hers as one until the end of your shared days.
Enid, still in the room, was trying her hardest not to squeal in excitement. Sure this event wouldn’t be until later down the line but she hopes she becomes your guys maid of honour.

Oh my god, I thought about this at school, okok so can I request a fanfic about Ajax having a crush on the reader (She/her if u can!) and his little snakes constantly trying to be affectionate with her and sneaking outside his little hat to try and touch you???? Thank you!
Tumblr media
— ☆ THE SNAKES !
ajax petropolus x fem!reader
Tumblr media
synopsis; Gorgons are usually told to keep their distance from the rest of the outcasts but Ajax and his snakes are a little too fond of you. notes; THIS WAS SOO FUN TO WRITE AND THE CONCEPT WAS CUTE TOO OMG taglist; lmk if u wanna be on it !!
Tumblr media
The first time you encountered Ajax's snakes acting oddly around you was when the both of you were studying for your upcoming exam. When this happened, neither of you were aware of each other's feelings towards one another and didn't think too much of it:
Usually, Nevermore's library is rather quiet with no signs of life but not today. Today, the library had been filled with dozens of students trying to cram the entire biology syllabus in less than an hour.
Exam season was upon the students of Nevermore and they were all rest-less, including you and Ajax.
You both were near the end of the library, sitting across from one another as you both were helping each other revise for your upcoming exam. Yet, none of you could get anything done since there were far too many distractions for the both of you.
'Right so, what are the adaptations of a Dionaea muscipula plant?' you asked Ajax looking up from your deck of flashcards that were strewn all over your textbook.
Ajax remained quiet as he tried to think of his answer to your question while you began to scan your textbook again, re-reading all the material in it.
After a while, you turned to Ajax, again, wanting to ask him the question again but were immediately stopped by Ajax, who cursed and shouted: 'Y/N, close your eyes!'
You quickly shut your eyes tight and for good measure, covered them both with your hands. You really didn't want to turn into stone merely hours before your final exam.
Once the gorgon informed you that it was safe to open to your eyes, you slowly obliged. You saw that he looked rather embarrassed as he had his face covered with both of his hands. 'Sorry. I'm really sorry about that, I don't know what's happening to my snakes right now. Usually, they behave quite well,' he apologised.
You shook your head and reassured him that it wasn't his fault that his snakes attempted to stone you. You didn't think too much of this interaction but little did you know that the reason for this was due to the gorgon's major crush on you.
The second time Ajax's snakes attempted to touch you was during Outreach Day at Uriah's Heep. You both had gotten that shop for volunteering and you were very glad to have been there with a friend:
Outreach Day was probably one of your least favourite days of the school year. Yes, you were going out to Jericho and finally having a change of scenery but the entire concept of volunteering was tedious to you — why were you working at a place when you weren't going to be paid?
However, it wasn't all doom and gloom since your best friend Ajax was volunteering there too!
Most of your time spent at that creepy shack involved you both just quizzically staring at the rows of shelves that were filled with the ( nicely dressed ) roadkill or with cleaning out all the dusty old shelves.
Every now and then, you both would crack jokes but would get immediately shushed by the only clerk present in the store.
While you cleaned out a shelf that was right at the back of the store, you were interrupted Ajax standing a little too close to you as he watched you clean out the shelf.
‘Want some help here? I’m done with my side so—‘ Ajax stopped talking when he noticed that a few of snakes were roaming near your small figure.
All your movements stopped when you felt the weird feeling of scales on your head and neck. Your breath hitched. You were unsure of how to proceed; any wrong movement and you’d be a stone.
‘Ajax?’ You called out. 'Yeah? Sorry, give me a minute...' he said as he began to shove the snakes back into his beanie.
The rest of your day spent with him involved you countlessly reassuring him that the snakes were no big deal while he apologised to you endlessly.
Ajax was terrified of the idea of his snakes ever turning you to stone.
The third ( and last ) time his snakes escaped his beanie to affectionately touch you was during the Rave'N - it was a night you both won't ever forget:
The Rave'N was a rather lively and remarkable evening. It started out rather wonderful as well.
Ajax had come to pick you up at your dorm at around 7. He was already dressed in a white suit - he even had a beanie to match. You'd be lying if you said he didn't look attractive.
The entirety of your evening was spent with the both of you dancing to all the songs, drinking and eating.
As it started to near midnight, the songs started to get slower - perfect for ballroom dancing.
Even though your legs were sore and you felt like you could hardly stand but when Ajax asked you to dance with him one last time, how could you say no?
You both spent the last hours of the night in each other's arms. The entire world around you both was a blur and the only thing you could focus on was Ajax's arms around your body.
When the night ended and everyone was leaving; there were barely any people present except for a few other students and you both.
Ajax and you sat at one of the round tables, doing absolutely nothing - just sitting with one another, enjoying each other's company. It was a comfortable silence, to say the least.
The raspy yet comforting voice of Ajax calling out your name, snapped you out of your thoughts as you turned all your attention to him. You hummed in response, urging him to speak - you were too tired to say a single word.
'I...' he began, 'I had a great time here, with you.' You smiled upon hearing his words, 'me too.'
You both sat in silence again until Ajax began another conversation: 'hey, listen... I don't know how to properly say this but...' he trailed off, it was as if he was trying to form the right words in his mind. 'I really like you - I like you a lot, in fact,' he bluntly said.
Your eyes widened in shock; you couldn't believe your ears - your best friend and crush, Ajax had confessed to you. It was too surreal.
You were unaware of how to properly tell him that you harbored feelings for him as well. So, on impulse, you crashed your lips onto his.
Ajax was taken a back by your action but he kissed you back nonetheless. He'd been wanting to do that for so long.
His hands cupped one of your cheeks while the other travelled down to your waist whereas both of your arms were wrapped around his neck.
Unfortunately, you both pulled apart once Ajax realised that his snakes had escaped, again. He frantically apologised to you on behalf of his snakes while you chuckled.
Atleast now the snakes would attempt to escape a little less.

the incident - ajax petropolus x reader
Tumblr media
requested by anon: omg 🙊 ajax x reader where he accidentally stones her and he gets self conscious and avoids reader but it ends with fluff???
pairing: ajax petropolus x fem!reader (referred to as girl/girlfriend)
warnings: swearing, implications of smut, but obvi not actual smut, mentions of a cut/blood
genre: angst with fluff (nobody is shocked), 1.1k words
tags: @sunflowermotel @maraseavey @tinylatina01 @obx-direction-sos @stfukie @voguesir @morgansmoreid @yunhosleftpinky @adoreyou976
The “incident” is not to be invoked. Not by word, not by glance, not by touch.
It seems that is what Ajax decided a week ago after the “incident” occurred. Not a word, not a glance, not a touch has been thrown your way since his beanie slipped off his head when you were sleeping in his dorm, and he woke up next to a statue.
It almost feels as if he never noticed you turned back into flesh. As if everytime he sees you, all he sees is that statue, and not the girl he fell asleep next to that night. As if he can’t talk to a statue.
You try to catch him on several occasions. Leaving class, out in the quad, walking in the hallways. He makes eye contact with you, makes a face like a deer in headlights and immediately turns the other way.
But deer can be trapped. And you have a plan. All it takes is a well-placed fencing saber and a well-timed hiss.
You drop the saber in mock surprise, gripping your hand to cover the palm. You force your face to crumple up as if in pain and take some shaky breaths to deliver the final blow. And then you freeze and wait for the inevitable.
Here it comes. The drop of a book bag and the running footsteps.
“You’re hurt? What happened? Let m’see, let m’see.” Ajax rushes out. He avoids your eyes but pulls at your hands, trying to glimpse at your palm.
“Come with me. Let me clean it. C’mon.” He turns and stalks off towards the botany room nearby. You follow him into it, turning and clicking the lock shut behind you. The deer falls for the bait every time.
Ajax turns on a faucet and, with his back to you, mutters, “C’mere, you should rinse it off.”
“Jax,” You start.
“Just rinse it off, Y/n.”
“Jax.” Your voice is stronger this time and for the first time in a whole week, Ajax turns and deliberately looks at you.
You grin sheepishly and uncurl your hands, revealing a clean, very much intact palm. Ajax frowns. “What? I thought you cut yourself.”
“No. Perfectly fine, Jax.” You shrug, slowly creeping closer to him.
“You’re alright?”
You breathe out. “Not entirely.”
He stands up straighter. “What’s wrong?”
“You.”
He slumps back down, covering his face in his hands. “Y/n, don’t do that. I thought you were hurt. I have to go, we have class.” He tries to move around you, but you catch him.
“Doors locked. I have the key. You’re not going anywhere.” You push him back towards the counter and he leans into it. “Talk.”
He huffs and stares at the ground. He says nothing.
“It was not your fault,” You start when he remains silent. “It was temporary. I am fine, Ajax.” He looks up at the use of his full name. Your glare is intense.
“It sort of was my fault though. It wouldn’t have happened if you were dating a guy who didn’t, you know, have reptiles on his head.”
“I love the reptiles on your head! You know that! I don’t want to date someone who’s not you, Ajax.” You shake your head.
“But you should. It’s safer. And it’s not fair that you’re in danger every time I want to see you.” He folds his hands over his torso, putting a barrier between you.
“I’ve never felt like I was in danger around you.” “Okay, then you have no fight or flight and should get that checked out.” “Stop it.”
“Why have you been ignoring me?” You throw it in his face. The reason you are having this conversation in the first place.
“I woke up in the infirmary, Ajax. I was scared. I didn’t know what happened. Fucking Xavier came when I woke up. I asked for you. He told me you didn’t want to see me.”
“I was busy.” He shrugs. “Bullshit,” You call. “That is bullshit. Why didn’t you come and see me?”
“I had just fucking stoned you, Y/n. I thought you wouldn’t want to see me!” “No! I tried to talk to you so many times this week, and you shut me out every time! Why?” Your voice raises.
“Because I was scared, too!” He snaps. “Is that what you want to hear? I was terrified. I wake up in the morning and my girlfriend is basically a fucking statue next to me and it’s my fault. It’s my fault that I can’t sleep next to my own girlfriend because I can’t control my own snakes. And you were stone, Y/n. You might’ve been scared in the infirmary but I woke up next to you. You didn’t see it. It was the worst moment of my life, and I won’t put you through it again. It’s not fair. It’s not safe. I won’t do it.”
His breath is heavy, chest rising and falling.
“No. You’re wrong. You can’t just decide it’s not safe for me. I understand, you were scared. It was a horrible experience. But it was temporary, Ajax. I am perfectly fine now. And I understand that it might happen again, but I am ready to accept that. It’s my consequence. Not yours.”
You manage to get within a few feet of him, and he stares at your arm instead of your face. He tentatively reaches out for your shoulder. And when his hand finds warm skin and not frigid stone like that morning, he collapses into you. Arms wrapping around your torso, head rested on your shoulder, practically whimpering into your shirt.
“I was so scared.” He whispers. “I thought you would hate me. I thought I hurt you.”
“I’d never hate you. I know you wouldn’t hurt a fly. It’s okay. We’re okay.” You run a hand over his back and he nods into your shoulder. “You’re okay,” He repeats.
He lifts his head off your shoulder but keeps his arms around your back loosely. “You don’t make a half-bad statue, by the way.” He tucks a piece of hair behind your ear and gives you a quick kiss.
You grin. “Yeah?”
He nods. “You’re a work of art, pretty girl,” He runs a piece of your hair between his fingers.
“Why are you being so nice?” You narrow your eyes at him.
He smiles. “Well, I haven’t seen you in a week, and we’re here now. In a room. Door is locked. You look really beautiful. And I’ve missed you.”
You push your palms onto his chest, pushing yourself off of him. “Absolutely not, perv. We have class.”
“Oh, so now we have class?” “You know, you were so much more tolerable when you were not talking to me.”

Snow On The Beach W.A. [Part One]
Pairing: Wednesday Addams x Fem Reader slow burn series
Warnings: canon violence, it’s slow burn, reader likes bees, unedited
Word count: 6.7
Summary: Y/n takes a small liking to the new girl who allegedly killed two normies at her old school.
Part One, Part Two, Part Three
Tumblr media
It was a usual Sunday in Enid’s dorm room, her and Y/n were doing their weekend assignments that they put off for last minute. Later Enid had plans to redo Y/n’s nails as they had chipped last week when she smashed her hand in a drawer. She even made a mental note to ask her new roommate if she wanted hers done, just in case she warmed up to the pair quicker than expected.
The door to the room opened, both Enid and Y/n looked up to see who had entered. Y/n sat up from her lying position on Enid’s bed to see that it was Principle Weems and the new girl. Y/n stands up while Enid squeals and jumps up from her position at her desk, “Howdy, roomie!”
“Wednesday, this is Enid Sinclair, and Y/n L/n.” Weems introduced the three, as Y/n moved to stand next to Enid.
Wednesday said nothing as she took in the room she stood in, and the girls in front of her. The blonde, Enid, was wearing the purple pinstripe uniforms. While the other one wasn’t, or at least it wasn’t the proper uniform. Where Enid’s went down to her shins, Y/n’s stopped above her knees. She also didn’t have the matching jacket.
“Are you feeling okay? You look a little pale.” Enid points out.
The new girl, Wednesday, looks horrified.
“Wednesday always looks half-dead.” The man behind her says, presumably her father.
“Oh,” Enid says in a soft whisper, and outstretches her arms, “welcome to Ophelia Hall.” She moves forward to embrace Wednesday, who promptly moves backwards to avoid the interaction. “Not a hugger, got it.”
“Please excuse Wednesday, she’s allergic to color.” Her mother says, and grimaces as if there's stories to tell about how they found that out.
“Oh wow, what happens to you?” Enid questions.
In a flat tone, Wednesday speaks for the first time, “I break out into hives, and then the flesh peels off my bones.”
“Luckily, we’ve ordered a special uniform. Enid, Y/n, please take Wednesday to the registrar's office, to pick it up along with her schedule. Give her a tour along the way.” Weems smiles.
The blonde werewolf does a little happy dance while Wednesday turns to face her parents, who’s faces fall at the look their daughter gives them. She quickly walked past the two of them out into the hall where Enid and Y/n happily followed, Enid skipping as she did so.
Enid begins her history lesson on the place, “Built to educate people like us,” She was walking backwards as she spoke to maintain eye contact with Wednesday.
“Freaks, outcasts, monsters,” Y/n filled in, walking beside her.
“You can save the sanitized sales pitch,” Wednesday said, looking around as she stopped in front of Enid and Y/n, “I don’t plan on staying here for long.”
“Why not?” Enid asks.
“This was my parents’ idea,” Wednesday looked at something behind Y/n’s shoulder, “Oh look, there’s my mother smirking at me”
Y/n moves her head to look at the picture Wednesday was looking at, “They’ve been looking for any excuse to send me here. It’s all a part of their nefarious,” Once more the raven haired girl turns back to Y/n and Enid,”yet completely obvious plan.” Enid’s tone is a stark contrast to Wednesday’s plain and flat one, “What plan?”
“To turn me into a version of themselves.”
Enid and Y/n grimace, “In that case, perhaps you can clear something up.” Enid begins to lead her tour once more, “Rumor’s been swirling around that you killed a kid at your old school, and your parents pulled strings to get you off.”
“Actually, it was two kids, but who’s counting?” Wednesday quickens her pace.
Enid falters for a moment and stands still, where Y/n quickens to keep up with the girl. Soon they make their way outside, and Y/n places her sunglasses over her eyes.
“Welcome to the quad,” Enid stretches her arms out for dramatics.
“It’s a pentagon.” Wednesday observes the awful name choice for the courtyard.
“The whole snarky goth girl thing might have worked at your normie school, but here things are different.” If anyone else had been speaking, Y/n’s tone might have come off condescending, but it was cheery and meant to give some sort of light to the situation.
“Let me give you a rundown on Nevermore’s social scene.” Enid turns to Wednesday and then begins to walk off again.
“I’m not interested in participating in tribal adolescent cliches.”
“Well then use it to fill your obviously bottomless pit of disdain,” Enid begins, “there are many flavors of outcasts here.”
“There are the four main cliques,” She counts off on her fingers, “Fangs, Furs, Stoners and scales.”
“Those are the Fangs, aka Vampires. Some of them have literally been here for decades.” Y/n explains.
“That bunch of knuckleheads are Furs, aka werewolves. Like me!” Enid says, “Full moons get pretty loud around here, that’s when Furs wolf out.”
“I suggest you pick up a pair of noise-canceling headphones.” Y/n says in a joking manner, but both know it's not a joke.
Wednesday ignores her comment and looks at the group around the fountain, “I’m assuming Scales are sirens.”
“You catch on quick. And that girl, ” Enid points to one of the sirens, “Bianca Barclay, is the closest thing Nevermore has to Royalty.”
Y/n smiles at the implication, “She’s my roommate, and you will soon be happy Enid is your roommate and not Bianca.”
Enid ignores the comment, “She used to date our resident tortured artist, Xavier Thorpe. But they broke up at the beginning of the semester. Reason unknown.” “Fascinating.” Wednesday says in a cold tone.
“I know right!” Enid went on, “My blog is like, the number one source for Nevermore gossip.”
“Yo, Enid, Y/n! You’re not gonna believe the dirt I heard about your new roommate!” Enid’s crush, Ajax, approached.
Y/n rolled her eyes from beside Enid and turned to face Ajax, who went on about the rumors, “She eats human flesh. Totally chowed down on that kid she murdered. You better watch your back.”
Enid stepped aside to reveal Wednesday, “Quite the contrary, I actually fillet the bodies of my victims. Then feed them to my menagerie of pets.”
Y/n silently wondered if Wednesday found enjoyment in making others squirm at the details of her alleged killings.
Enid’s tone is as cheery as ever, “Ajax, this is my new roommate, Wednesday.”
“Woah, you’re in black and white.” The gorgon boy looked the new girl up and down. “Like a living Instagram filter.”
“Ignore him, gorgons spend way too much time getting stoned.” Y/n stated as Enid turned Ajax away. She turned back to Y/n and Wednesday, “He’s cute, but clueless.” “Clueless? Yes, cute? Still up for debate.” Y/n breathed out a laugh.
“Shut up,” Enid gave Y/n a small shove, “anyways, it’s a small school. There wasn’t a lot online about you. You really should get on Insta, Snapchat, and TikTok.”
“I find social media to be a soul-sucking void of meaningless affirmation.” Wednesday turned back around, leaving Enid defeated.
The three finally made it to the office to get Wednesday's schedule and uniform. They then parted for her to say her goodbyes to her family.
Later that night when Enid and Y/n made their way back to Enid’s room they were shocked by the sight they saw. Wednesday was crouched down in front of the window peeling off the stickers that gave the room a colorful shine.
“What the hell did you do to my room?” Enid demands as she marches into the room.
Y/n carefully shut the door behind her, standing and observing the two of them.
“Dividing our room equally.” Wednesday says as she stands up, “Looks like a rainbow vomited on your side.”
“I-” Enid tries to spit something out.
“Silence would be appreciated, this is my writing time.” Wednesday sits down in front of an old-timey typewriter and pulls up the sleeves of her black zip-up.
“Your writing time?” Enid asks, still having not moved from the middle of the room.
“I devote an hour a day to my novel. Perhaps if you did the same, your blog might be coherent. I’ve read serial killer diaries with better punctuation.” Wednesday’s hands look to not know what to do with themselves for just a moment.
Y/n made her way over to Enid’s bed to sit with all of the stuffed animals on the bed, she grabbed one of them and placed it in her lap as she did so.
“I write in my voice! It’s my truth. It’s what my followers love.” Enid defends her blog.
Wednesday turns to face Enid, “Your followers are clearly imbeciles.” She pushes off the desk chair and walks toward the girl, “They respond to your stories with stupid little pictures.”
Enid scoffs, “You mean emojis? It’s how people express their feelings. I realize that’s a foreign concept for you.”
“When I look at you, the following emojis come to mind. Rope, shovel, hole.” Wednesday pauses a little after each one for dramatic effect, “By the way, there’s two D’s in Addams. If you’re going to gossip about me, at least spell my name correctly.”
Enid ignores her and puts on some bubble-gum pop music, and begins to dance, making Wednesday’s head snap in her direction.
“Turn that off,”
Enid ignores her and continues to dance in a taunting manner.
Wednesday huffs and walks over to the colorful girl, “This is your final warning.”
Enid makes a noise that is supposed to sound like a growl, that makes Y/n laugh from over on the bed, but instead comes out playful as she bears her manicured claws. Wednesday eyes the claws.
“Don’t mess with me.” It comes out as a genuine threat, just because Enid is all cute and rainbows doesn’t mean she couldn't be dangerous if she wanted to be. “This kitty’s got claws, and I’m not afraid to use them.”
The door opens, “Good evening, girls. Sorry about the mud.” Enid hides her hands behind her back and Y/n stops fidgeting with the stuffed toy in her lap to look at who opened the door. All three girls look at Ms. Thornhill.
“I wanted to make sure that Wednesday was settling in. Is this a bad time?” She asks, it’s a rhetorical question.
“Most definitely.” Y/n speaks for the first time since her and Enid entered the room.
All heads snap to the girl sitting in Enid’s bed, Enid and Wednesday had both forgotten she was there.
Ms Thornhill decides to ignore her comment and introduces herself, “I’m your dorm mom, Apologies I wasn’t here to greet you when you arrived. I trust Enid, and Y/n apparently, have given you the old Nevermore welcome.”
“They’ve been smothering me in hospitality, I hope to return the favor. In her sleep.” Wednesday speaks, everyone hopes it's a joke but nobody is sure.
“Well, here’s a little welcoming gift from my conservatory.” She smiles as she hands Wednesday a black dahlia flower. “I try to match a flower with each of my girls, and when I read your personal statement in your application, I immediately thought of this one.”
“The black dahlia,” Wednesday looks at the flower.
“Oh you know it?” Ms Thornhill questions.
“Of course. It’s named after my favorite unsolved murder.” There’s a moment of silence, “Thank you.”
“Okey-dokey. Before I leave, I want to go over a few house rules. Lights off at ten, no loud music, and no boys, ever.” She emphasizes the last part, making Y/n snicker.
“Do you have something to share, Y/n?” Ms Thornhill looks over.
“No, no.” Y/n smothers her smile in the plush toy in her hands.
“What’s the story about going into the local town?” Wednesday asks.
“Passes to Jericho are a privilege, not a right. It’s a brisk twenty-five minute walk, or there’s a shuttle on the weekends. The locals are a tad bit wary about the Nevermore kids. So please, don’t go making any waves, or perpetuating any outcast stereotypes. That means keep your claws to yourself,” She turns to Enid first, then to Wednesday, “and no smothering people in their sleep.”
“Are we clear?” She waits for any objections, “Great talk!”
Ms Thornhill leaves with a wave.
“Anywho, Enid, can you fix my nails?” Y/n whines at the blonde the moment the door closes, and moves to grab her favorite colors of nail polish.
The next day goes without incident, Enid and Y/n do their thing and Wednesday does hers.
“Could be worse.” Y/n comments as Enid complains.
“How? She could be a deranged murderer? Oh wait!” Enid is exasperated.
“I call her bluff.” Y/n says as they make their way out of the library and to Enid’s dorm.
“Why do we never go to your room again?” Enid asks.
“Because Bianca? Duh.” Y/n feigns annoyance, she truly didn’t have anything against Bianca. The two were kind of friends, or at least Y/n considered her a friend.
As they open the door they hear music coming from Enid’s balcony, the two cross the room and step through the window as the song ends.
“How the hell did you get that oversized violin out the window?” Enid questions.
“It’s a cello.” Y/n mumbles before seeing the hand sitting on the music stand.
“I had an extra hand.” Wednesday says, not bothering to look at the girls behind her or the appendage waving at them.
“Woah.” Enid grimaces.
“Where’s the rest of him?” Y/n asks.
“It’s one of the great Addams family mysteries.” Wednesday replies, placing the bow on the stand.
The hand drops from the stand with a thump and walks away. If that’s what you can call it.
In the distance the three can hear the Furs howling out.
“Why aren’t you wolfing out?” Wednesday looks at Enid.
Y/n frowns at Enid’s body language, knowing how she felt about not being able to wolf out yet.
“Cause I can’t,” She turns and looks at Wednesday and flashes her claws, “it’s all I got.”
She walks over to the edge of the balcony and Y/n moves to stand next to her, putting an arm around her shoulders while Enid rests her head on the other girl’s shoulder.
“My mom says some wolves are late bloomers, but I’ve been to the best Lycanologist. I had to fly to Milwaukee, can you believe it?”
Wednesday made her way over to the pair.
“Yeah, she says there’s a chance I may never…you know.”
“What happens then?” Wednesday stood on the other side of Y/n.
“I’d become a lone wolf.” Enid’s voice cracks at the thought.
“Sound’s perfect.” Wednesday says, clearly not reading the room.
“Are you kidding me? My life would actually be officially over.” Wednesday looks over at them, “I’d be kicked out of my family pack, with no prospect of finding a mate.”
“I’m failing to see the problem here.” Wednesday voices.
“I could die alone!” The blonde exclaims, horrified.
“We all die alone, Enid.” Wednesday states, as if it’s a known fact,
“I will never leave you Enid.” Y/n comforts.
“You really suck at this, Wednesday.” Enid utters and her voice cracks again, “Cheering people up.” She begins to cry.
Wednesday turns to Enid and Y/n, “Why are you crying?”
“Because I’m upset!” She moves her head from Y/n’s shoulder to look at the other girl, “Haven’t you ever cried? Or are you above that too?”
“I was six years old,” Wednesday began, “I took my pet scorpion, Nero, out for his afternoon stroll, and we were ambushed. They wondered what kind of freak would have a scorpion for a pet. Two of them held me down and made me watch,” She paused, “while the others ran Nero over until…” She trailed off.
“It was snowing when I buried what was left of him. I cried my little black heart out, but tears don’t fix anything. So I vowed to never do it again.” Wednesday finished and Furs began to howl once more.
“Your secret’s safe with us,” Enid said.
“Still think you’re weird as shit though.” Y/n added to lighten the mood.
“The feeling is incredibly mutual.” Wednesday looked over, “how would you like your single room back? You just need to show me how to use your computer.”
Y/n and Enid look at each other and get set on explaining to Wednesday on how to use technology. Wednesday then sends Thing off to the normie boy she met, Tyler.
The next few days go by with nothing remarkable happening, Enid and Y/n do their shenanigans, sometimes resulting in death threats from Wednesday. While the Addams girl continues working on her novel or playing the cello.
At the festival, Wednesday is a stark contrast from the other two girls she stands with. Both girls in varying shades of pinks, while she is wearing black and white. Maybe Ajax had a point…
“You seriously are going to get into a strange boy's car?” Y/n asks as they stare at the normie boy and his father.
“I mean, are you sure you can trust that normie?” Enid backs her friend up.
“I trust that I can handle myself.” Wednesday spoke, none of the three ever taking their eyes off the sheriff and his son.
The sheriff finally walks away from Tyler and Enid turns to face Wednesday, “Well, good luck and safe travels.”
Enid moves to try and hug Wednesday, who immediately shuffled back, resulting in her bumping into Y/n.
“Still not a hugger, got it.” Enid says and walks off, Y/n following behind.
For the next few hours Y/n and Enid play dumb carnival games and ride rides. They end up bumping into Yoko and some of their vampire friends.
Yoko and Enid were talking and something caught Y/n’s eye. It was Wednesday running after someone into the forest. Y/n pondered whether to follow and see what the commotion was, and after a moment she decided it was worth her while.
She quickly followed Wednesday and the boy, keeping a distance.
Suddenly Wednesday and the other figure stopped, “Rowan, wait.”
“What do you want?” Rowan growled out, “Why are you following me?”
“I don’t have time to explain, but you’re in danger.” Wednesday said.
Y/n hid herself behind a clump of trees, suddenly cursing the bright pink skirt she wore. The pair talked too quietly for Y/n to hear what was being said.
Then suddenly Wednesday’s body was being lifted into the air and thrown against a tree by Rowan’s telekinesis. Y/n gasped and she hoped Rowan didn’t hear, but it appeared Wednesday did. She looked right into Y/n’s eyes before they returned to Rowan’s.
“You’re the one who’s in danger.” Rowan says, an outstretched hand holding the girl up.
“What are you doing?” Wednesday asks, sounding frantic.
“Saving everyone from you.” Rowan responds, “I have to kill you.”
“The gargoyle, that was you?” Wednesday’s already wide eyes appear to widen, “It’s always the quiet ones.”
A paper flies up to the girl's face, “The girl in the picture, that’s you.”
Wednesday seems appalled, “You want to kill me because of some picture?”
“My mother drew that picture, twenty-five years ago, when she was a student at Nevermore.” Rowan’s voice seems rushed, “She was a powerful seer. Told me about it before she died.”
“Rowan, put me down.” Wednesday demands, once more sounding panicked.
“No! My mother said it was my destiny to stop this girl if she ever came to Nevermore.” Rowan sounds like a whining child who’s toy was taken, “Because she will destroy the school, and everyone in it.”
Rowan tightens his hold on Wednesday, who struggles against the tree.
“Rowan,” Y/n shouts, finally getting her whereabouts to step out from behind the tree.
The boy turns his head but doesn’t have time to respond when a growl comes from nowhere, and a creature unlike one Y/n had ever seen before grabs Rowan by his green zip up. The monster smashes the boy to the ground and Y/n is certain she heard a crack as Rowan screamed.
Wednesday crumbled down from the tree with a thud and watched as Rowan was torn to shreds. Blood splashed everywhere as the monster slashed through the boy. The monster looked at Wednesday and ran off, running by Y/n without giving the girl a second thought.
Y/n rushed to the bloodied body of Rowan, she knew the boy didn’t have a chance of living but checked his pulse anyways. Wednesday looked to the sky as something fell from above, it was the page torn from a book, and it landed on Rowan’s slice open chest. Wednesday picked it up before Y/n could get a good look at it.
As the two left the scene Y/n felt sick, and if she had anything in her stomach she would have thrown it back up.
Wednesday finally spoke, “Do not speak of this to anyone, not even Enid. If the cops ask any questions, let me speak.”
Y/n drew in a shaky breath, “Okay.”
Y/n woke the next morning to her alarm in her own room, her and Bianca danced around each other as they got ready. Their room wasn’t nearly as separated as Enid and Wednesday’s was and they constantly left things on the others’ side. They knew each other well enough to be considered friends but didn’t hang out besides when in their dorm. Y/n knew all about Bianca and Xavier’s relationship, and why it had ended.
The two knew almost every secret about one another, Y/n knew about Bianca’s past and vice versa.
The two went their separate ways for classes, and halfway through Y/n’s first lesson Principal Weems came in to ask to take Y/n out. When she left the class, the sheriff and Wednesday were both there.
“How could you miss a dead body?” Wednesday asked the man.
“‘Cause it wasn’t there?” The sheriff responded, “No footprints, no blood, no sign of a struggle. Nothing, nada.”
Suddenly all of last night's events flooded Y/n’s mind. “That’s impossible, I watched him be ripped apart, I saw Rowan’s chest cavity.”
Wednesday gritted her teeth, but showed no sign of…well anything.
“My search party looked all night.” He responded, as if that was supposed to clear everything he is claiming.
“Well, your search party must have left their seeing-eye dogs at home, I saw that monster kill Rowan.” Wednesday said as they walked up the stairs.
“Get a good look at this monster thing?” Sheriff asked accusingly.
“It didn’t stick around for a chat, maybe I’ll invite him for tea next time. Get a few pictures with him.” Y/n spoke angrily as she looked back at the man and Wednesday, as she stomps up the stairs to accentuate her anger.
“Maybe it was one of your classmates.” The Sheriff said, looking around.
That was the final straw for Y/n who stopped dead in her tracks and spun around to face the man, “Okay what the hell are you doing here then? Because it clearly isn’t to gather any leads, piss poor detective work to already have a bias.” “I don’t care, because I’ve got three other bodies in the morgue right now. Hikers, just ripped apart in the woods.” Sheriff says.
Weems interrupts, “The mayor said those were bear attacks.” “Yeah well the mayor and I disagree on that.” The sheriff responds.
Weems has one hand on her hip and the other leaning against the railing, “So you automatically assume that it’s a Nevermore student? Even when there’s no evidence that a crime has even been committed.”
“I’m sorry, I forgot, you only teach the good outcasts here. Right?” Sheriff accuses.
Weems sighs as cocks her head at him giving him a look, and her energy changes. They make their way to her office. The older lady sits down behind her desk. Wednesday and Y/n stand in front of it.
“My guess is that Rowan ran away. State troopers have put out an alert and I’ve contacted his family. They haven’t heard from him either.” “Dead people are notoriously bad at returning calls.” Wednesday retorts.
Y/n stifles a laugh at her comment as the Sheriff sits down in one of the chairs.
“What were you two doing out in the woods with him, Ms Addams, L/n?” The two girls turn to face the man speaking.
“We heard a noise in the forest, and I went to investigate. I told Y/n to stay back, but she insisted I don’t go alone. That’s when we stumbled upon the attack.” Wednesday lies through her teeth.
“Then what happened?” The sheriff asks.
Wednesday continues her narrative , “Then we ran into Y/n’s roommate, Bianca Barclay. I told her to go get help. Next thing I remember, I was waking up in my dorm.”
“And just to be clear, this monster wasn’t a bear attack? Or some other wild animal?” His tone isn’t intrigue, it's condescending.
“I’ve hibernated with grizzlies,” Wednesday states,”I know the difference.”
Y/n wants to question this, but knows it's not the time nor place. Wednesday Addams was a mystery to all, and an open book to none. And Y/n wanted nothing more than to know more about the girl in all black.
“Is this all true, Ms L/n?” Sheriff asks, turning to face Y/n.
“All I remember is Rowan’s mangled body and then everything is blank after that.” Y/n corroborates Wednesday's version of events.
“There you have it Sheriff, I think the girls are done now.” Weems speaks as she stands up.
“Actually, I would like to speak to Sheriff Galpin,” One of Wednesday’s eyebrow quirks, and if Y/n hadn’t been watching her so intensely she would have missed it, “Alone.”
“I’m not sure I can allow that.” Weems says.
“I’m sure I could take her down to the station, and get a formal statement. But I’ll also need Y/n’s.” Galpin smirks for a millisecond, “Yeah let’s go.”
“Fine, you have five minutes. And everything is off the record.” Weems says, walking from her desk, “Play nice, or I will call the mayor.” She threatens and leaves the room.
Y/n leans against the desk as the two argue.
The door opens, “Sheriff, you’re gonna want to see this.” It opens further and there is Rowan, in the same outfit he was wearing last night. The same zip up  that was soaked in his blood last night is suddenly void of any grime. The button up that had been torn apart, whole again. But more importantly, Rowan was alive unlike how the two had left him the night prior.
“No, that’s fucking absurd. No, absolutely not.” Y/n says and leaves the room, not believing her eyes.
Y/n makes her way outside to where she knew Enid was, the pair hadn’t spoken much this week.  Then Y/n spots Wednesday in one of the corridors.
“Hey Wednesday, wanna come see Enid with me? Looks like you could use some sunshine and fresh air.” Y/n says in a joking manner.
Wednesday said nothing as she began walking alongside Y/n. Before they step outside, Y/n pulls her sunglasses from her bag and puts them on her eyes. They were unlike the other vampires, they were unique and possibly designers. But Wednesday didn’t know the brand.
“Ladies, come on! Let’s work on those teeth.” Enid’s cheery voice was comforting for Y/n to hear, “More scowl. This kitty is taking no prisoners. If Bianca Barclay wins again this year, I will literally scratch my own eyes out!”
“I would pay money to see that.” Wednesday says, and Enid turns around with a hop and squeals.
“Howdy, roomie! I’m so glad you decided to stay.” Enid smiles.
Wednesday’s arms are crossed firmly around her middle, “I thought you wanted your single room back.”
“Full disclosure, I don’t like living solo. Why do you think Y/n’s in our room all the time? And Thing gives a killer neck massage.” Enid confesses, “So why the change of heart?”
“I refuse to play the role of a pawn in someone else’s corrupt game.”
“You mean Rowan?” Enid says, her cheery tone never ceasing.
“We witnessed his murder, Enid.” Y/n responds.
“It’s just, we all saw him this morning.” Enid explains, “Very much, like, not dead.”
“I know.” Wednesday says, uncrossing her arms, “Which leads me to believe I’ve been losing my mind.” She shrugs her shoulders and gives a defeated look, “It’s not nearly as fun as I had anticipated.”
“Shared delusions, they get you, I’m telling ya.” Y/n adds.
“You are Nevermore’s gossip queen, what’s Rowan’s story?” Wednesday asks.
“Other than being a weird loner? Uh, no offense.” Enid quickly adds.
“None taken.” Wednesday responds, the tiniest smile pulls at her lips for a moment.
“Xavier Thorpe’s his roommate, you know if you had a cell phone you could just text him and ask him. Why didn’t you ask Y/n?” Enid turns to yell at Yoko before either could answer, “Flare those whiskers! The Poe Cup droops for no one.”
Y/n laughs at Enid’s dramatics.
“What is the Poe Cup anyway?” Wednesday asks.
“Only my entire reason for living right now.” Enid breathes out, “Part canoe race, part foot race, no rules. Each canoe has to pick an Edgar Allan Poe short story for inspiration. You could grab a brush. Ms Thorhill’s just ordered pizza, want to take a stab at being social?"
“I do like stabbing.” Wednesday responds and looks around, “The social part, not so much. Besides, it will cut into my writing time.”
“No worries, as long as you’re with Y/n on the lakeside cheering us to victory on race day!” Enid exclaims.
Wednesday says nothing, “Or you can just glare uncomfortably, whatever works for you.” Y/n turns to Wednesday and gives her a playful wink.
The girl dressed in all black turns without a word and goes back inside, presumably to her dorm.
After a bit Y/n realizes she left her favorite top in Enid’s room and decides that she immediately needs it.
“Right now?” Enid asks.
“Yes Enid, right now. Or else I will forget about it or even worse, I won’t be able to focus on anything except for my top and I will mess up your canoe.” Y/n explains, really she was just getting bored and the sun began to irritate the exposed skin of her legs. But she did have a shirt that was left in Enid’s room.
“Okay, yes go.” Enid instructs, sending the vampire on her merry way.
When she arrives at Enid and Wednesday's dorm she can hear the distinct tapping of Wednesday on the typewriter. The girl doesn’t give Y/n a glance or even stop her typing when she enters.
Y/n pays no mind to her or Thing as she goes to look for her shirt. Until suddenly the typing stops and Wednesday stands up from her desk.
“Come with me, we need to go find Rowan.” Wednesday demands, and Y/n was too afraid to ask what for or to deny her. She simply stood from where she was sitting on the floor, and followed Wednesday.
After searching the school for a good hour, Y/n spoke up, “Maybe we should go ask Weems…”
Quickly the pair make their way to Weems' office for the second time that day.
“We need to speak with Rowan, and we can’t find him.” Wednesday had been speaking for both of them a lot lately Y/n notes.
“It won’t be possible, I’m afraid. He’s been expelled.” Weems doesn’t look up from her laptop.
“For what?” Y/n asks.
“Never you mind. He’ll be on the first train out this afternoon. What were you doing out in the woods with him in the first place?” Weems finally looks up from her work.
“We told you already.” Wednesday regurgitates the same lie from this morning, “We heard a noise, I went to investigate. And Y/n didn’t want me going alone.”
Weems scoffs, “That excuse might have placated the sheriff, but you can’t fool me. You had a psychic vision, didn’t you?”
Wednesday’s gaze shifts, “I realized you might be having them when we passed by the accident, and you knew that poor farmer had broken his neck. Your mother started having visions around your age. They were notoriously unreliable, and dangerous. I remember at first, she thought she might be losing her mind. Have you spoken to her about them? Clearly the person withholding information here is you.”
“May I go now?” Wednesday asks.
Y/n thinks that Wednesday may be feeling uncomfortable with what Weems has said, but Wednesday is harder to read than most people. She keeps her cards close to her.
“Not until you’ve picked your extracurricular activity. We want our students to be well rounded.” Weems attitude takes a whirlwind change.
“I’d prefer to remain sharp-edged.” Wednesday crosses her arms.
“I took the liberty of putting together a list of clubs that have openings.” Weems slides a list on the desk.
“How thoughtful.” Wednesday looks down.
“You need to have picked one by the end of the day. I’ll be keeping my eye on you, no doubt you’ll find something that tickles your fancy.” Weems says.
“The last person who tickled me lost a finger.” Wednesday said, moving to pick up the list.
The two quickly leave the room to where Thing is waiting for them.
“Weems is clearly trying to keep tabs on me. Keep an eye on Rowan.” Wednesday speaks to the appendage, “Don’t let your fingers out of his sight.”
The three part ways, Thing going to Rowan, Wednesday to find an extracurricular to check out, and Y/n to go to the bee hive with Eugene.
“Where have you been?” Eugene asks as Y/n enters the little shack.
“I was busy,” Y/n responds, putting on the hat and net that keeps the bees from her face. She never wore the full suit, claiming that the bees wouldn’t hurt her as long as she didn’t harm them.
Y/n worked in the shed and glanced out the window to see a figure Y/n had begun to know all too well made its way towards them.
“Are you interested in the ancient art of beekeeping?” Eugene asks Wednesday, who turns around to face the boy.
“Eugene, Eugene Ottinger.” He sticks out a gloved hand, “Founder and president of the Nevermore’s Hummers.”
Wednesday shook his hand, “Wednesday, Wednesday Addams. Am I late or is it only you?”
“Y/n L/n is in the shed, but it’s only the two of us. The hive life isn’t for everyone.” Eugene responded, “Most kids are afraid of venomous insects. Are you willing to feel the sting?”
Eugene leads Wednesday into the shed to get her a suit.
“Y/n, this is Wednesday Addams.” Eugene introduced.
Y/n smiled coyly, “So I’ve heard, we keep meeting.”
“Great.” Eugene says, handing Wednesday a suit and leaving the shack.
The white is a stark contrast to Wednesday’s usual attire, “Why don’t you wear the suit?” Wednesday asks.
“They won’t sting you as long as you don’t give them reason to. I’m not afraid of them.” Y/n says, fond of the bees.
Wednesday opens the door and goes back outside to where Eugene waits, as he talks she inspects the gloves.
“Bees have been producing honey in the same way for a hundred-fifty million years. They’re nature's perfect community. All working together to achieve a common goal.” Eugene goes on about bee facts.
Y/n spots Thing off to the side between two hives, she didn’t know what he was trying to tell Wednesday but she assumed it was important. Y/n’s gaze shifts to Eugene before Wednesday wanders off.
“Nothing personal buddy, she disappears a lot.” Y/n reassures the boy as he sighs defeated.
The next day during Ms Thornhill’s Wednesday is scolding Thing who was hidden behind a plant. Enid gossiped about this or that, while Y/n was in her own little world.
“I see you finally made a friend.” BIanca teases Wednesday, “Even if it is a plant.”
“I go for quality over quantity.” Wednesday retorts, causing Bianca to roll her eyes and sit down.
Y/n sat in her usual seat, only this time Enid didn’t sit next to her. Wednesday did, Enid shrugged and sat next to Yoko.
“Wednesday, we are thrilled to have you join us on our journey into the world of carnivorous plants. Now,” Ms Thornhill turned to address the class, “who can tell us the name of this beauty?”
“Dendrophylax lindenii.” Wednesday responds without a second thought.
“Other known as a ghost orchid.” Bianca says.
“First discovered on the Isle of Wight in 1854.” Wednesday recites from memory.
“Wednesday, perhaps you can identify the ghost orchid’s greatest qualities.” Ms Thornhill suggested.
“Resilience and adaptability.” She says, “It’s able to thrive in even the most hostile environments.”
“But its mere presence can change the ecosystem,” Bianca butts in, “causing the established plants to reject it.”
Wednesday responds, “Usually because the native species is allowed to thrive, unchecked.”
Y/n can’t help but wonder if this was actually about plants as she stared at Wednesday’s side profile. The girl beside her was textbook weird, but she was undeniably beautiful, something about her drew Y/n in.
“Nothing a weed wacker couldn’t fix.” Wednesday continues.
“You can most certainly try.” Bianca says in a faux sweet tone.
“This is definitely not about flowers.” Y/n says to no one in particular, and changes her focus to her notebook.
For the remainder of the lesson, she doodles in the margins of her notebook paper. She even doodles a small cat on Wednesday’s paper, who feels an unsettling fondness for the girl sitting beside her.
Y/n sat on the grass next to Enid as she painted on the canoe, Wednesday approached the pair.
“I have to go back to the woods. But Weems has been circling me like a vulture circling a carcass.” Wednesday says, standing over Y/n, addressing Enid.
“And you want to return to the scene of a crime that didn't happen? Enid asks, not looking away from her artwork.
“I have beekeeping club this afternoon, I need you as a decoy.” Wednesday explains.
“Sorry, two strikes.” Enid scrunches up her nose, “I’m busy, and bees totally creep me out.”
“Why don’t you ask Thing?” Y/n asks, tilting her head to look at Wednesday who looks down at her.
“Oh you can’t because he’s mad at you.” Enid says before Wednesday can speak.
“Why’s he mad? He’s the one who screwed up with Rowan.” Wednesday questions.
“All I know is that we spent an hour giving each other manis, and he really opened up. He feels like you don’t respect him as a person.” Enid explains.
“Well technically, he is only a hand.” Wednesday looks at Enid.
“Wednesday!” Y/n scolds from the ground.
“He’s your family! And he would do anything for you. Go apologize and I’ll reconsider helping you.” Enid suggests as Wednesday walks off to, presumably, find the appendage.
“You gave Thing a mani, but not me?” Y/n suddenly asked.
“We talked about you too, you have grown very fond of Wednesday Addams.” Enid says.
“What?” Y/n asks, feigning confusion.
“You have a crush on Wednesday.” Enid repeats in a sing-songy voice.
“Shut up, I will drain you of all of your blood.” Y/n threatens.
Y/n didn’t know what about Wednesday drew her in so much, maybe it was her dark eyes, or the way she said whatever was on her mind not caring about what others thought. What she didn’t know was that Wednesday was having an internal battle of her own about the same feelings.

𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨... rip those damned pink and sparkly headphones off of Enid’s head. Although the cheerful girl had been so kind as to put them on in the first place, to not bother Wednesday’s peace, it didn’t silence the music completely. The loud, happy rhythm and beats along with Enid’s soft singing and jiggling in her seat made the girl want to rip her ears off her own head just to silence the noise. Complete silence was what she needed in order to finish writing tonight’s chapter. Her head was already one chaotic jumble of thoughts after today’s events in Jericho and it seemed that she wasn’t granted to quiet her mind with some writing either.
She turned around, glaring hard and long at her roommate who danced in her spot on the bed, a pencil in her mouth as she read her textbook. How one was able to concentrate with hideous music overbearing everything, was a mystery to Wednesday. However, it seemed no difficult task for Enid, seeing as the girl was too concentrated to notice Wednesday’s glare, or the fact she was not being as quiet as she had promised. Thing trudged over Enid’s bright duvet covers to hand her an eraser, before he pointed out a mistake in her homework.
“Thanks, Thing!” Enid spoke, not knowing how loud she had been.
Wednesday flared her nostrils, let out a quick breath and turned back around, immediately ripping out the paper from her typewriter. The few words she had written had not been too gripping anyway.
When tidying up her desk, Wednesday’s eyes fell on her cello in the corner of her room. It lit up in the moonlight that softly shone through the large window, almost like a spotlight. It looked enticing, as if it was inviting her to play. If writing couldn’t help her clear her mind, she would try something else. The corner of her mouth twitched ever so slightly with the anticipation of probably waking up half the school with her cello playing so late at night, and maybe that was the push she needed to grab her beloved instrument and walk onto their dorm’s balcony.
Wednesday loved playing the cello, she revelled in the deep, dark sounds it could create, how it made her fingers tremble with sound, how it would then echo through her soul and how certain notes, when played long enough, made her feel exactly like the gloomy emotions tugging at her heartstrings each and every day.
When playing, she was one with her cello, but often times she still used sheet music to help her learn new sonata. There was, however, one song she knew to heart. It was the sole reason she had wanted to pick up a cello in the first place. Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns— the Dance of Death. While the violin played the most important role in Saint-Saëns' masterwork, and she loved the sinister sound of strings mending together as one, the high tones of the violins never quite had the same effect on her as her cherished cello. Her parents would waltz to it whenever Wednesday played it again and again in their big foyer back home. It had even become a tradition to play it in their favourite cemetery at midnight on the Night of the Death— what weird people would call Halloween. Although unfortunately no skeleton ever crawled out of their grave for this annual party, it was a lovely family tradition for the Addams Family nonetheless.
Perhaps, somewhere subconscious, because she would never admit it to herself, she was feeling nostalgic. Maybe even longing for home. But when she sat down and straightened her back into the right posture, the first few strings her fingers pushed down, played the depressed signature intro of her favourite song.
Immediately, a weight fell of her shoulders, and she all but let out a large breath that she felt released everything that had happened today and the week before. There was no past or future, Wednesday was fully living in the moment, not even realising she had reached the end of the seven minute long tone poem before she started again, not caring that several lights had gone on inside some of the surrounding dorms.
Her eyes were closed as she let her body sway to the music she was creating, but they snapped open when she heard something. Although distant, the melody travelled through the night as an echo and it made her look up when she realised what it was. Somewhere, someone was answering her cello play by complimenting it by playing the violin part. Although slightly delayed because their sound travelled through the harsh wind, it was unmistakable that whoever it was, was answering her playing by playing along to Camille’s masterwork. Instead of stopping out of surprise, Wednesday took the violinist’s reply as a challenge, and upped the tempo sooner than was expected. It was faint, and it took a couple of seconds before the warm but shrill sounds of the violin answered in the tempo she had set. The corners of Wednesday’s mouth softly turned into a crooked grin as she stopped, knowing the next part was meant for a violin to shine. She stared out into the dark of the Vermont night, trying to see where her antagonist was playing from. But not even this night’s bright moon could light up the balconies far away, for the fog was blocking her view.
Just like she had hoped for, the violinist didn’t stop and hit every mark they were supposed to, making Wednesday catch herself softly swaying along. This was no ordinary player who had only recently picked it up. No, Wednesday’s admiration for this anonymous virtuoso was just and deserved.
She grabbed her bow, preparing herself to play support for the violin's next few bars of this section.
They were well into the composition, only having about two minutes left, so Wednesday knew what was to come. She looked down, through her thick lashes, smirked slightly, before once again upping the tempo, as was asked of the song. The cello’s dark, melancholic notes carried through the night and brought back those sinister violin tones. They clashed together, then mended as one. Like fire forging metal into a blade.
Wednesday’s head bobbed with each accentuated note and her arm and hand almost ached from how tight she had been gripping her bow, adamant on not making a mistake. But she was forced to open her eyes once more when Enid’s voice rang through the night,
“Wednesday!”
Immediately, a glare coated her face at the interruption. So, Enid wasn’t going to grant her wish to write or play the cello? She didn’t know the girl had it in her to be so cruel in her own way.
Wednesday spoke, lacing her voice with as much venomous annoyance as she could, “I was perfectly enjoying myself before you walked out.”
“I think the whole school was perfectly enjoying their sleep before you walked out, too.” Enid looked incredulous, as if to ask how her roommate could care so little about others.
“The night is the best time to be alive. Why would I care about those who don’t appreciate and take advantage of it like I do?”
“Well-” Enid stopped herself, not knowing of a witty or just comeback. She hadn’t known Wednesday for that long yet, but knew well enough that she’d hardly ever come out as a loser in a discussion or quarrel.
“Maybe you should call it a day for now… well, night, more so.”
Thing’s steps on the wooden floorboard caught both of their attention. Wednesday glared at him, and he immediately crawled behind Enid’s legs. “I’m going back in, it’s freezing out here.” Enid quietly excused herself and lifted Thing off the ground.
Wednesday let out a sigh once the two had disappeared. Her eyebrows furrowed in disappointment when she realised the wind no longer carried the sound of a violin. Maybe her counterpart had gone to bed as well.
She begrudgingly packed her cello and walked back to the circular window and opened it, already half stepping in before she heard it— the heartbreaking yet soft and slow solo finale of the violin’s part. She could only hear bits and pieces, thanks to the wind picking up and letting out a howl here and there, but she knew they were still out there. For the first time in a while, she smiled softly. Maybe Nevermore wasn’t so bad after all.

Wednesday x Reader
Father's Feathers
Tumblr media
Requested.
Warnings: child abuse, threatening, scissors, blood.
Words: 1030~
Thanks to the original creator of this Avian Reader character: @toournextadventure
Some scars never leave... usually those burnt into our brains. That was exactly your case. All thanks to you amazing father.
And he made it his mission to remind you. "All those feathers are mine, you little monster! I can pluck them out whenever I want to!" That was his go-to phrase.
It made sense why you were so uncomfortable with your wings now. Having them was hard. Being reminded daily of the hurt you went through was hard. Having people want to touch your wings was harder. But, sometimes, nothing would compare to when Wednesday threatened to pluck out your feathers. Even as a joke, it made you uneasy.
She made one of those comments one day. One particularly hard day for you. You had had a nightmare that night in which your father punished you for "misbehaving". How? Ripping your feathers, of course. Occasionally, he'd clip some feathers with a pair of scissors. And what did you do? You were playing, as a normal 6-year-old does. You tripped, got a scraped knee, and cried. You didn't sob, as it wasn't that bad. But that still made your father annoyed.
The typewriter sounds continued, La Llorona playing as background music. You were sitting on Wednesday's bed, trying your best to rest without sleeping. You hadn't slept at all since around 04:00, courtesy of the bad dreams Wednesday wasn't starring.
—You're being odd.
That comment was so sudden you almost didn't catch it. You thought she was talking to herself rather than to you. You sent her a glance, too tired to function correctly.
—I'm just tired.
She looked at you, intensely. You were tired. That was evident, judging by the dark circles under your eyes. But it wasn't only that. There was more you weren't telling her.
She lowered the volume of the music after putting away her typewriter in the big drawer. You looked around as she did so, trying to prepare yourself for the interrogation you knew was coming. She sat in front of you, cross-legged on the bed. She looked at you, holding direct eye contact as she always does.
—What is upsetting you?
You pursed your lips. You didn't want to talk about this, but you knew it'd be better to finally let go of a bit of the weight you were carrying. So you went along with it, nodding.
—My wings.
Your lip trembled when you spoke, as did your voice. Wednesday was taken aback. To her, having such wings would be her pride for life.
—I don't understand. Your wings are impressive, grandiose even. I'd be proud to have such magnificent wings.
—I know you don't get it. They're just... a burden.
—Why would you think that? Did someone say something bad about them? Who? Is that why you don't let people near them?
Having you not be happy with yourself sure made her get annoyed, anxious even. Haywire chaos happened inside her brain every time she saw you unwell. Sometimes she showed that she cared for you so obviously, yet she acted disinterested when asked.
You knew it was coming to that, so you got yourself ready. —Wednesday, I am scared. Let me try something...— You had an idea. If Wednesday had visions, maybe she'd see what you went through without you having to talk about it. She looked at you, confused, but she nodded. So you took her hand in yours and watched as her head shot backward.
She saw it. Moments of your childhood. Terrible memories. Bad terrible. She never knew you had to go through things that horrible. Now she understood why you were so wary of everyone regarding your wings. What hurt the most may have been how you were crying while being tortured by your father, and you weren't enjoying it. It made her angry, too.
When she came back to her senses, she looked at you crying silently in front of her. Her first instinct was to hug you, arms around your neck. You knew it was safe, because it was Wednesday, but you still tensed, stiff as her at the beginning of your relationship.
—I'm here for you. I'll always be, even in death. You hear me?
You nodded, now sobbing. Even if you wanted to, they just didn't stop flowing. She held you close, trying to make you listen to her heartbeat. It had always calmed you, and she hoped that time wasn't different.
She then started playing with your hair, combing it to perfection with her fingers. Little by little, her hand lowered. It had been a while when you noticed she was gently caressing your wings. She traced the pattern of you feathers carefully, silently reassuring you. It made you cry more.
—You make me feel so loved—, you sobbed onto her. By then, her clothes were stained by the tears you wept. She let you do that. It made you feel even more cared for.
She was silent, mainly in disbelief. You had indirectly called her comforting. She liked it, but only because it was you.
—Shh. Let's lie down.
Her tone was as less awkward as possible, which you appreciated. She laid down on her back, making you be on top of her. Being taller than her, and also with the wings, it seemed as though you were covering her. Her arms still rested on the back of your neck, holding you safely in your place.
You rested in silence, the thought of being there with Wednesday sinking in. It made you emotional again. You were really going through it. She noticed and hugged you tighter. It made you more thankful to have her.
—I love you so much.
Wednesday was sure that time would help you heal your wounds, she hoped so. She nodded. It always made her feel.
—I know. I love you.
You smiled.
—Be proud of your wings. I am proud of you. Your feathers, not his. Yours.
It was odd hearing Wednesday so sappy, but it was something you could get more used to. You just hummed a "yes". You were sure you'd sleep well that night.
—Thank you, Wednesday.
—You're welcome...love.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗦 𝗢𝗙 the typewriter halted. Enid had gone somewhere Wednesday didn’t care enough to acknowledge, resulting in the silence of the room that only whispered words of insanity inside her head — silent insanity. She turned her head to spot Thing settled on her dark bed, reading a travelogue magazine he found from Enid’s drawer, turning its pages tediously.
“Are you sure you gave her the note?” Wednesday monotonously questioned as Thing only answered a ‘yes’ with a tap of his finger on the sheets. Her eyes darted on the typewriter again, contemplating whether to use it or leave it alone for a while in order to wait for y/n with full concentration.
But she knew y/n’s presence won’t grace the room no matter how much anyone — most especially, Thing, would pine for it. She narrowed her dark eyes and tightened her jaw as she settled in her train of thoughts.
She used to like this state of living. She was alone or with Thing, but there was silence. The only thing that would bounce back to her ears was the sound of the typewriter clicking and Thing’s magazine pages turning. She loved solitude — lived for it, or perhaps the young Addams would even die for it, because of how much it was a rare luxury for her in Nevermore, but ever since she laid her eyes on a specific girl and her foot set in the divided room, she had grown used to the constant whines of invites to go outside and do some extracurricular activities that Wednesday either found too easy, boring, or stupid.
Y/N often complained about the homeworks they would get stacked with. She would normally curse at the teacher who gave it without a care in the world whether Wednesday heard or not. She felt comfortable enough to express her unnecessary emotions, as Addams would describe it, in the room with the half colourful and half devoid of hues window. She would wreak havoc and play games with Thing, gossip with him, and have a therapy session with him.
Wednesday was used to it, but she never wanted to admit it. Of course she didn’t. Because somehow, y/n had become part of the solitude that Wednesday found convenient even though she wouldn’t admit it aloud or even at all.
She argued that her presence was unlike any other that she found aggravating. That Wednesday didn’t have to put any effort in order to satisfy y/n’s needs in the established — friendship? Were they friends?
“Thing, why isn’t she here?” She asked again through gritted teeth, only gaining an ‘I don’t know’ from her companion.
No, she wasn’t her friend.
But if she wasn’t, why did her absence affect her so? Wednesday found it unsettling, and so unlike her dark cold self. Her eyes peeking through her eyelashes only narrowed even more, and much to her disgust, she wanted to do something about it.
Thing interrupted and made a few gestures, tapping, swinging, and folding his fingers to the girl who got more and more upset as she followed through with what he said.
“I sometimes wish that I don’t understand what you’re telling me,” she replied. “And it’s impossible that she would get upset over my silence. I’m always cold and silent. She should know that she signed up for it before being my . . . acquaintance.” Even without a certain tone in her statement, Thing could sense the venom in her voice. Y/N’s absence did tick Wednesday off.
He gestured, but before he could finish, she spoke again, “Finish that sentence, and I will pull out your nails and skin your fingers alive one at a time.”
Thing knew he crossed a line there. Why else would she threaten his nails?
The wooden floor suddenly creaked as Wednesday stood up from her chair, the typewriter long-forgotten in her wake to venture outside the room with a plan to confront her missing acquaintance.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀༉‧₊˚.
Wednesday knew where to usually find y/n, but much to her dismay, she wasn’t in Weathervane. Tyler hadn’t seen her either. The young Addams found him quite stubborn yet persuasive, but she had to decline his offer of coffee. She had pressing matters to tend to.
Y/N wasn’t with Enid. She wasn’t with Yoko and Divina either, nor Bianca. She wasn’t seen by Xavier the whole day, and her roommate mentioned her rush to go out of the room earlier in the fine Saturday morning.
This was suspicious to Wednesday. Y/N was always with either of them in Weathervane, the library, the field, or Xavier’s haven for his art. Where could she be? She shouldn’t be out and about when there’s a monster on the loose, ready to cut someone’s throat.
“You really don’t want her to see you?” Xavier questioned.
“No. I’m surprised she’s even out there looking for me,” Y/N replied, stroking the hued brush on the canvas. “But then again, it’s Wednesday. She’s probably only looking for me because she needs something.”
“She still thinks I’m the monster, honestly.”
“Well, you do have a lot of drawings of the monster for someone who isn’t it, but I guess I should trust you. Maybe more than I should trust Wednesday from now on.”
Xavier turned to her, eyebrows furrowing in bewilderment. He took the towel near his latest work and wiped his fingers, “I’m curious.”
“What?”
“What did Wednesday do to you? Why did you say all those things you said earlier?”
She shrugged and continued to smudge the blank paint on the canvas. She hated that the colour reminded her of the certain goth girl that made her feel things she shouldn’t be, but could she ever help it? Wednesday was a friend, but the circumstances now said otherwise.
“I won’t tell her.”
“Even if you did, would she care?” She asked bitterly without turning to Xavier, only paying attention to the work she was aimlessly doing.
“Y/N.”
“She didn’t do anything bad. It’s just — ”
“She didn’t do anything, did she?”
Y/N scoffed and stopped her work, looking up at the canvas with a sigh of defeat, “That’s exactly what she did.” She turned to him and set the brush aside, sardonically letting out a chuckle, “Ironic, yes?”
“I’m not sure I follow.”
Was she not that obvious enough? Y/N thought she’d done her best to make anyone notice her actions when she was around Wednesday. She wanted them to know so that they could help her with her because she knew she didn’t have the guts to ask them directly, ‘Hey, can you help me with Wednesday?’ Because she found it pathetic. Wednesday obviously wanted someone who could speak their mind and have similarities with her interests, and if she found y/n to be so pathetic enough to ask, what was the chance that the young Addams would even look at her in a different light?
“Y/N, I really can’t help you if I don’t understand what’s going on. Wednesday’s already a puzzle. I’m not sure if I can solve her and you at the same time. She’s not doing anything which is upsetting you because? Maybe my brain’s just a little rusty, but could you elabor — ”
Taking deep breaths in and out weren’t enough. She had to be straightforward with saying what she truly meant with her careful words, “God, Xavier! I want her to notice me!”
“But she does notice you, y/n.”
“You don’t get it.”
“I do. Trust me, I do.”
She shook her head, took the cobbler apron off and hung it on the frame of the canvas, not caring whether the paint had dried off or not. “Thank you for letting me in here and rant to you, Xavier.”
“What? Where are you going?”
“I think I just need a little moment to be alone now,” she mumbled and smiled. Xavier thought y/n had always been good at smiling at everything. If witchcraft was told to be her greatest gift, it was not. Smiling was.
But now he wasn’t sure.
Y/N thought her smiling at everything was a curse. It made her bottle what was truly in her chest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀༉‧₊˚.
It was as if the day wanted to make everything harder for her as she found herself on Enid’s bed, lying quietly on her stomach with Thing on her side, turning the pages of the lotion options on the brochure y/n gave and promised to buy for him if he ever chose one. It seemed hard to be away from Wednesday, but she was about to accomplish her task of ignoring her completely when Enid decided it was nice to invite her to her room only to ditch her as a part of an elaborate plan.
Jokes on her, y/n knew what she was doing. When she said she wanted help, she didn’t mean now. She was too clouded with anger and teenage angst that she wasn’t in the mood to confront the busy as ever Wednesday Addams.
“Where were you?” Wednesday suddenly asked, not stopping from typing words into the typewriter.
“Xavier’s.”
“He said he did not see you the whole day.”
“And what does that make him?” The girl next to Thing inquired, her voice ice and cold. If Wednesday’s cold shoulder existed, y/n’s was much colder than an atlantic iceberg: She tried to shake it off, but she knew her well. She knew something was wrong, and it had to do with her.
“A liar, no less.”
“A friend.”
Wednesday didn’t respond any longer. It was futile to try to ease the tension in the room, and she had to not care or she would let her get in the way of her clear thinking. She was nearing the edge of the monster mystery in the woods, and she was sure it was Xavier, but there was no specific evidence. Her fingers typed aggressively again on the metal contraption, thinking about what they must have been discussing in his shed, what image they painted on the canvas, what disgusting expression on their faces they used while being near each other.
“Something’s on your mind,” Y/N suddenly stated. “Thing, could you go and ask Enid to come here?” She whispered to the pale hand as it crawled outside the room, leaving her and Wednesday alone.
There was no answer from the raven-haired girl. Now she was giving her the cold shoulder. Y/N has had enough thinking it was her fault. She sighed and stood up from the colourful bed, putting on the pair of black loafers she owned for when she went to class. Turning to the door to leave, Wednesday suddenly spoke.
“Everyone was worried.”
Y/N turned her head to her direction. She was still writing. She didn’t know exactly how to feel after the sudden statement. Should she be happy? Why did she feel slightly relieved? Could it mean that Wednesday cared for her? Maybe Xavier was right. Maybe she did get noticed by the certain girl. She wanted to smile, she wanted to ask, she wanted to keep asking more and more. This was her now. Living off a three worded sentence that came out of the Addams’ black painted lips.
“Were you?” Y/N questioned.
She did not respond again. It became a habit of Wednesday, but this one took a little longer than usual. Y/N did not budge from the door, though. She wanted an answer from her. At this point, she was desperate for a sign of anything, giving meanings to simple things only to confuse herself again.
Could Wednesday be holding herself back from giving her a transparent response?
“No.”
Y/N’s hopeful thoughts suddenly shut down as a bad flip on her heart created a shattering pound, dropping the beating chamber on the knots of her tied stomach. Her eyes slightly blinked in disappointment, licking her dry lips to provide moisture as she defeatedly glanced at the girl who had her back facing her.
“Wednesday, did you ever see me as a friend or anything more than just someone you’d talk to on certain occasions just because you needed something at all?”
The clicks stopped just as the door slammed shut behind Y/N, leaving Wednesday to sit on a conundrum of what she’d done wrong and what mistakes she’s been making.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀༉‧₊˚.
SUNDAY. Wednesday didn’t like the Sunday activities that Nevermore had planned for its students. She hated it more when she didn’t spot y/n amongst the crowd in the field. She wanted to say she didn’t notice her absence, but she deemed herself too busy to worry about the little things.
She did catch a glimpse of her on the clear afternoon in the path of Xavier’s shade. She wanted to gauge out her own eyes and vomit acid on them.
After her question the previous night, she hasn’t been able to get a clear grip of her mind to write her novel.
Y/N was an absolute distraction that she was glad to finally get rid of.
MONDAY. Wednesday thought she was over it, but the temporary absence of the girl in her mind was cut short when her sharp eyes spotted her in the corridor, her signature extras on her style standing out as she walked alongside her roommate who rambled things y/n found funny enough to laugh at.
Much to her dismay, her shoulder brushed past hers, causing both of them to stop and look back at each other.
The young Addams didn’t know which was the twist of a curved knife: Was it the fact that she was wearing pastel nail polish or her? Was it the fact that y/n looked at where she was going again and recovered too quickly? She didn’t know anymore whether the question referred to the encounter or some other things, but it was making her blood boil.
TUESDAY. That night, Wednesday enjoyed the midnight breeze and performed one of her cello solos in front of the silver moon and the mist in the sky accompanied by the over-observant stars. She wanted to scream, but she never screamed. She didn’t like shouting or being vocally loud. So, the only outlet? Music. She wanted it to be more grim, angrier, louder, and better. She didn’t care who or what heard. She was getting sick of the thoughts inside her head that she wanted to drown it all out by focusing on one thing.
However, no matter what she did, nothing seemed to cure it. Every twist of the tunes on the cello only reminded her of y/n's laughter from the distance, her eyes crinkling as she listened to the stories of someone else, meddling in their business. Y/N shouldn’t care about the peanut butter that her roommate got on her shirt — she shouldn’t even care about anyone at all. Why should she? How could she? The tune got more aggressive, making the hairs of her body stand, feeling the rhythm of her disdain.
Her face wouldn’t get out of her head. The more she wanted it out, the more it became vibrant and clearer, more stubborn to push away. Just like Y/N in the span of days and weeks that she knew her. She had always been there, not leaving her side. Wednesday never acknowledged her or anyone so much, and she knew it put people off, but not her. Not until —
Wednesday frowned.
Not until that day y/n asked — no, practically begged her to come to Weathervane because she said she had something important to say.
The music ended. Thing sat on the stand and made a gesture. The girl knew what he was asking about. Now it was clear for Wednesday. She had never been oblivious, but the fact that she never acknowledged anything that had to do with y/n when she was constantly pining for her already made her much of a fool than she thought. That’s why she asked her the question a few nights before.
Y/N was under the impression that Wednesday never cared, or that she failed to see her.
Which, if she was frankly speaking, she did fail yet foolishly at that. Wednesday wanted her own space, her own time, her own pace. Y/N wanted an action, and she knew she couldn’t give her that. Their differences were setting each of them aside, away from each other, but now that it was clear, Wednesday knew exactly what to do.
Even if she found it most humanly pathetic.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀༉‧₊˚.
WEDNESDAY. Surely the afternoon rain was not the right weather for archery, but y/n needed the comfort of the serrated edges of the arrows whipping past the air. The rain was just a bonus. Her thumb brushed past her ear as she blinked, concentrating on the dead centre of the target. Before she let the nock go, she felt a presence almost as dead as her grandmother on her side.
“I didn’t know rain and violence enticed you.”
Startled, y/n turned her head to look at the origin of the voice, letting go of her shot as it hit the centre with a sound. She sighed and gave her a warning look before she spoke, “It’s about to get more violent if you don’t step aside, Wednesday.”
“You’re getting better at your threats.” Wednesday plainly stated, earning a scoff from the girl who held the arrow on her side. “Hello, Y/N. Your archery is impressive.”
Did she do it right? Did she give a nice compliment? Will she take it well? Wednesday would owe Thing if it worked, but she’ll decapitate a piece of his finger if it didn’t. She didn’t know if she was in the right mind or was y/n looking more goddess-like under the stormy clouds.
Her hair was wet with rain falling down on her face. Still, her eyes sparked a feeling in Wednesday’s chest, something that got right up her throat that she swallowed immediately to refrain. She looked at her up and down, noticing how the lustrous shine of the weather made her seem like she was the weather.
“Get to the point, Addams. If you’re kissing my ass for a favour, it’s not going to work.”
Y/N wasn’t making it easy for her. She was going off what Thing told her she would say, and it was making the whole situation difficult to surpass. What should she say now? If she went out with the truth, how pathetic would she look?
Wednesday defied feelings.
But could she now? Especially when it was the truth, and Y/N was staring right at her face, flushing a certain disgusting colour on her cheeks that she hated and swore never to let on her skin. The deathly cold temperature of her body was running hot from the look she was giving her. Her Uncle Fester was surely away, but she felt electric sensations stabbing her insides. As much as she loved stabbing, she would like it better if she was the one holding the knife.
“You’re wasting my time — ”
“I did notice you, even from the very beginning that the page of my life in Nevermore turned. That was until I got preoccupied by what was hiding in the forest, seeking its next victim. I feared that I will destroy this school to ruins, hurt the people I do not care about, and the people I tolerate.” Wednesday suddenly started. She walked closer to the girl who ruled the archery grounds and continued, “I admit I lost sight of you since then. Hence why I’m here. To apologise to you for my irresponsibility.”
The lack of emotion in her voice would have ruined the whole speech, but for y/n, it was the lack of something else. She was expecting her to tell her more, rather than just a simple sentiment that left her hanging whether Wednesday reciprocated her feelings or not. However, she understood completely that no matter how many days, weeks, months, and years that she planned to ignore the certain Addams, she would never manage to have her see her in the way she wanted. A ‘no’ is a ‘no’ after all, even if it was delivered indirectly and unpolished.
Y/N nodded and turned to the target halfway when Wednesday spoke again, noticing the deprivation of enlightenment in the speech she gave. The girl in the darker uniform sighed and looked down, unable to meet the eyes of the girl before her as she questioned, “The day you told me you had something important to say, what was it?”
“Does it matter? You didn’t care enough to show up and know.”
That caused a slight intoxicating heartache that made her come to her senses and feel the searing gaze of the girl. “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to join you, but now that I realise the gravity of the matter, I wish to know what you wanted to say.”
“You have an idea as to what it was.” Y/N was tougher to crack this time around.
“But I want your enlightenment, y/n.” But Wednesday was more stubborn than she ought to be.
“You really won’t leave me alone for shit, won’t you?”
“Not unless you tell me.”
Y/N’s furrowed eyebrows only met again closely. She threw the bow down to the ground and marched past Wednesday, not wanting to tell her what it was or it will make her look pathetic again. If she told her, she wouldn’t be able to help herself. How would it look when a deep-feeling person cried in front of someone who didn’t give a fuck about anything?
“Y/N.”
“Wednesday, you’ve done enough damage and I’m trying to stay the fuck away from you and steer clear out of your way but you keep appearing with your stupid braids!” She exclaimed exasperatedly. “You just see me when you need me for something. You don’t notice me like you said you have. You never looked at me in the perspective that could show more of what I could be! You never see more than someone to satisfy your convenience, and if I’m just that, just a speck of dust on your shoe, just leave me be, okay?”
That was it. Wednesday never saw her this angry before, but the displeasure of emotion it brought felt well-deserved to herself. After all, she was the reason for it.
“Because I’m tired of throwing myself to someone— you, and not see it being given an answer to. If you wanted me to stop, you could have said so, but no. You never truly noticed, did you?” Y/N’s voice cracked, and there she knew, she had to keep it brief before she started embarrassing herself before Wednesday. The girl who never cried ever since she reaised it never did anything. “That day I invited you to Weathervane, I intended it to be something more than friends would do. I wanted to tell you how I felt around you, because you were a part of everything I did ever since I started showing up in your dorm every single day and saw so much of you from afar. The mood I get from you affects the whole day ahead. I was fascinated about how you knew so much yet also knew so little. You never truly realised how perfect you are in every single aspect, and even the tainted side, I embraced it all, because that was how willing I was to devote myself to you. I knew I wouldn’t have a shot because even if I knew how you’d take a three-minute break from writing or which type of drink you’d usually order, I don’t know anything about you. I don’t even know if you liked people like me. Fuck, do you even like girls at all? I don’t know, because do you even want me to know y—”
Wednesday has had enough of her angry outburst slash teenage angst confession under the rain slash rant, because now that the letters of each words have reached her ears and processed in her head, and her heart pounded in sync with the cello solo constantly playing in the back of her mind, she felt impatient with waiting for the end of Y/N’s dramatic confession.
Impatient that she couldn’t wait another second to march forward, aggressively pull her by the collar and crash her lips against hers, taking the girl by surprise as Wednesday pulled away shortly after before mumbling, “You always talked too much.”
“Wait, does that mean—?”
Wednesday wanted to roll her eyes, but her emotionless stare at Y/N’s face already gave the answer the girl was looking for, as well as another surprising kiss that warmed their bodies in the cold misty weather, hearing one another’s hearts go wild inside their chests like birds begging to be freed into the wild.
Wednesday hated teenage angst, but now maybe there was a part of it she tolerated.
Suddenly, a squawk from the distance was heard, followed by a crow falling right next to them, causing the two to pull away and look.
Y/N could have sworn Wednesday smiled, but she was quick to recover from the plague of crescent lips.
“In case you were wondering, that was a sign of approval from my dead ancestors.” The young Addams informed.
She wasn’t sure why y/n didn’t scream or take what she said before back and say she regretted it all, but Wednesday liked the circumstance as it was.
It was just her and y/n, the dead crow on the archery field, and the peculiar teenage outcast angst under the cliché rain.
“If you tell the others any vivid details about this, I will kill you, calcify your heart and keep it in my drawer.”
“I’d like to see you try, Mary Shelley.”

Word Count: 2,032
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At times I wished I had the same emotionless expression as my “cousin.” One might ask why I put air quotes around the word, it’ simple.
Her uncle Fester happened to stumble upon myself and mother’s violin when I was merely three months old during one of his “adventures”.
As I previously said, I wish I could copy her expression, especially now. You slam your journal shut, turning to look at your clock.
You grab your jacket and exit the room, making your way towards Xavier’s art shed. Your mind is blank but thoughts float around your mind, you wonder what it is he wanted to talk to you about.
With Wednesday firmly believing that he is the hyde, it makes you more weary of being alone with him… in the woods but if you can talk to him in his safe space so he doesn’t “totally freak out” as Enid would say, you believe it would do you good.
“Do you believe me?” Xavier spins around to look at you.
You gulp, this is not where you saw this going right after entering the shed. “I don’t- I don’t know,” you say, giving him your honest answer.
“What do you mean you don’t know? It’s either you believe that I’m not the monster or you agree with your cousin,” he hisses out the word you’ve grown accustomed to calling the pigtailed girl.
You ignore his gaze and opt to look at the floor. “I- I, the thought you had written down in your journal crosses your mind.
“I don’t think you’d do all these things, but you have to admit the evidence she has does make it highly possible for you to be the hyde.”
He furrows his brows, face slowly becoming more void of emotion. “If you really believe that I’m the monster then why are you here?”
You raise your head. “I- I needed to see it for myself.”
“See what?” He asks with a tired tone.
“I- what’s that?” You point over to the sketchbook with a flower bookmark sticking out of it.
“That- that’s nothing. Why is that important now?” He’d never admit it out loud, but he was always impressed with how your attention could be drawn elsewhere within a second, even if it isn’t the most appropriate time for this to happen.
You ignore him and walk over towards it, opening the page to find a drawing of yourself playing your deceased mothers’ violin. You reach for the flower and find yourself thrown into a vision.
How odd, Wednesday’s the one who usually experiences these, at least from what you can remember. It is also weird how whenever she would have one, you would pass out.
Eugene’s screams flood your mind.
The cave where the monster hides is on fire.
The hyde’s wide and red rimmed eyes.
Red boots… red boots?
-
You wake up, blinking as your eyes adjust to the moonlit room. “How did I get here?”
The numerous footsteps echoing throughout the hallway draw you out of bed.
You open the door and listen to the scared and panicked shrieks of the other students, rushing over towards the railing you find the red aura of the siren song on the lower floors.
Crackstone.
Your head snaps over towards the side. You furrow your brows at the sight of a pale dressed Wednesday, not your cousin but- “Goody?”
She nods. “You must help her.”
“Help who?”
“The key.”
You remember the pigtailed girl mentioning this to you, you know exactly who she’s referring to. “Where is she?”
“I am going to her now, but you must guide her.”
“Guide her? Guide her how?”
“His black heart will end it… I must go to her now.” She starts to disappear.
“No, Goody. Wait!” You sigh and look down.
Bianca’s head snaps up.
You block her song and search for a window. At times like this, you’re happy you’ve climbed the walls of the school.
 -
You stand on the edge of the roof just before the upper hallway where you can see Bianca and a few others. You don’t feel good, something’s going on with the black-haired girl, the urge to scream is on the tip of your tongue but you fight it as you protect the students.
You place a temporary shield around the area, preventing the fire from reaching any of the students and jump down. “Crackstone!”
He turns to you, the evil look in his eye should send shivers down your spine but you don’t let it, not wanting him to harm anyone.
“Another one. How nice.” The revived Joseph Crackstone taunts you.
“Don’t you think this is a bit much?”
He aims his magical staff at you, luckily you are able to block it. “I am ridding the earth of you abominations!”
“You’re an abomination too!”
“Lies!”
“Your descendant raised you, brought you back from the dead!”
You spin around, avoiding his magic. “You have magic! You are now the very thing you despise yourself! How can you get rid of what keeps your heart beating at this very moment!”
“I am doing what should have been done years ago.”
“You’re going to die, and your magic will not be able to save you.” You raise your hand, trying to telepathically pull the staff away from him.
“Stay away from her.”
Why does this voice sound so familiar?
The arrow flies past your head, in front of the resurrected man, only for him to use his magic and flip it.
You cannot let it hit him or anyone else and put yourself before him to stop it. You spin around, landing on your back unable to catch your breath.
Xavier runs towards you, lifting your upper body off the ground.
“Get the others out of here,” you tell him once you can breathe again.
“What?” He furrows his brows, mouth curling in disbelief.
“You need to get the other students out of here. We cannot lose anyone else.”
“I don’t-”
“I have to help her,” you whisper.
He helps you up, “I don’t like this idea.”
“Good thing,” you snap the arrow and chuck it onto the ground. “You aren’t going to be here to see the rest of it… be careful.”
“You, too.” You push him away when you sense Joseph aiming the damn staff at you.
You stand beside Wednesday. “We have to aim for his-”
“Heart, yes,” she cuts you off. “I didn’t realize you were aware.”
“Let’s say, seeing the dead does have its perks at times. I expect no tears from you at my funeral.”
“Don’t-”
Xavier turns at her shout, his heart drops.
You run at him as Bianca stabs the man in the back. You rub your hands together, thankful for Fester teaching you how to use his trick now more than ever. You hold him in place and call out for her. “Now, Wednesday!”
She lifts the sword and stabs him in his black heart.
You can’t remove your hands from him, not until he fully disappears even then you fall, eyes closing.
The hands on your shoulders and whoever’s attempting to do CPR bring you out of your quick reenergize nap.
You open your eyes and give three a tired smile.
The artist helps you sit up and continues to hold you even as Wednesday wraps her arms around you.
You smile and kiss the top of her head, letting her know it’s over (you hope, unless Nevermore isn’t done with you all).
She forces herself off you, letting Bianca and Xavier help you up.
You nod to the siren. “Let’s go find the others.”
-
The four of you walk out of the school, searching for the waiting party.
You lean against the boy throughout the entire walk.
He hasn’t said a word to you, and you don’t know what you could say to him other than, “I’m sorry.”
Enid rushes over to hug your cousin, giving you a moment to talk to him.
“Why are you sorry?”
“I believed you were the very thing that would terrorize the school when I shouldn’t have. I should have followed my heart.”
“I think I can forgive you. I mean, you did take an arrow to the shoulder for me.”
“And I would do it again if it meant I had your trust.”
He shakes his head, “I wouldn’t want you to get hurt over my trust.”
“I should have listened to you.”
The corner of his lip’s tugs upward, “yeah, maybe. But now that you’ve saved the school, I think I can understand where you were coming from.”
“No, don’t do that.”
“What?”
“Don’t just brush it off, I know what I did wasn’t the nicest or most respectful thing to do when I’ve known you and have been your friend for three years. I know you; I have for years, and I shouldn’t have let someone else’s theories get into my head to ruin that trust.”
He nods, tucking the hair blocking his view behind his ear. “I’ll take that into consideration.”
Your lips twitch, “that’s all I ask.”
Enid rushes over to you, hugging you not nearly as tightly as your cousin but enough to let you know how much she cares about you.
 -
You leave Wednesday to finish her novel while Thing finishes packing for her. You wonder around, waiting until it’s time to leave.
“The feeling of eyes on me brings a chill up my spine and not in the fun way,” you think. “That would be a good thought to right down when I return to my room.”
You turn, facing the stairs to find him watching you which may be creepy to some, but you find it to be rather sweet.
He waves and leans against the railing.
You walk up the stairs, wanting to talk to him before your dragged out of here. “Are your parents coming to pick you up?”
He shrugs, “probably not… I got you something.”
“Really?” You raise a brow.
“It’s not much but it’ll be faster than the letters." He lifts the lid off the box, showing you your new phone.
“Don’t expect a call,” you inform him, not wanting to hurt his feeling. You must really care about him if you’re taking his feelings into consideration.
“I’m not.”
You squint your eyes at him, “seems you know me well.”
“That and,” he tucks his hair behind his ears. “I know you don’t like new things… at least, until you get the hang of them.”
“I guess we’ll have to see about this then.”
“I believe in you.”
“I trust that you’ll have a normal summer?”
“It might be fun if I get a phone call.”
“Don’t push it.”
He smiles, having a feeling that you’ll learn to use the phone faster to call him. “How’s your shoulder?”
“Fine. I’ve decided to let it heal on its own.”
“No magic?”
“I believe it would be wise to save my energy. I have a feeling we’re just getting started with Nevermore and all it has to offer.” You take the phone out of the box and hold it. “How do you use this dark box you call a phone?”
He chuckles, taking it from you, “why are you calling it a dark box exactly?”
“It’s painfully obvious.”
“Alright, I’ll give you that. I already programmed my phone number in here. What exactly you were looking for?”
“I want to send you my aunt Morticia and Uncle Gomez’ address. I will be staying with Wednesday and her family this summer; we believe it would be wise if we stay together.”
“Okay,” he shows you how to use the phone.
“I cannot guarantee I’ll be able to remember all of this.”
“As long as you can turn it on and remember to charge it, you’ll be alright,” he assures you.
“Do you know if you’re ability can work over the phone?”
He shrugs. “I’ve never tried before.”
“Perhaps it could be our summer activity?”
He nods, not at all hiding his smile when you said, “our activity”. It seems as though there’s a chance for him to ask you out in the near future. “Maybe.”

SOFT SPOT
[Wednesday Addams x Fem!reader oneshot]
> characters are already in a established relationship, Wednesday lowkey having a soft spot for the reader <33 and ofcourse, characters are aged up.
Tumblr media
> Wednesday has been known for showing sadistic tendencies and a dark personality. However, to you she shows another side that other people didn't even know she had.
—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·–—·—
"Wednesdayyyyyyyyy, c'mon plsssss" you whined, tugging on her black and white knitted sweater.
"For the last time mi amor, I am not gonna cuddle with you, let alone let you sleep on me." She said as she typed on her typewriter. Mentally rolling her eyes.
You're lucky she loves you, otherwise she would've chopped your fingers off the moment you started tugging on her sweater.
"why notttttt? Don't you love me anymoreeee?" You dramatically asked as you wiped your fake tears away.
"You know that I spend at least an hour devoting to my novel." Wednesday said, eyes still glued on the typewriter infront of her.
She typed quietly and the clicking noise that the typewriter made was calming.
She looked so pretty when she was focused. Ofcourse she looked pretty all the time, but there's something much more when she's focused. She looked really attractive.
"And I didn't say that I don't love you anymore, Cariño." She added. Her cheeks were (very) lightly coated with blush as she said that.
"Then plsssss cuddle with meeeee, I'm really sleepy :(" you said. Your lips forming a little pout.
Wednesday glanced at you, 'Adorable. so adorable that it's actually pathetic.' she thought, still having a deadpanned expression.
"I'm almost done. Just wait a little longer, querida." She said looking at you. Eyes scanning over your face, watching your expression falter.
"but- but- wednesdayyyyy you said that 30 minutes agoooo?!!!" You whined once more as your mouth formed an even bigger pout.
"You didn't have a problem with waiting awhile ago, why throw a fit now?" Wednesday said, shooting you a glare.
"becauseeeee, I didn't feel tired thennn" you said grabbing on to the side of the chair that she was sitting on.
Yes, you were acting a little much like a toddler but at this point you were getting frustrated. All you wanted was to cuddle, was that too much to ask?
"You're capable of sleeping on your own. You don't need to have me beside you to sleep." she said, Her eyes boring holes into your soul.
"If you're really that tired you're welcome to sleep on my bed. But it won't be comfortable though. So don't blame me if you wake up with a stiff neck." She turned to her typewriter to continue her unfinished novel.
You sighed. "welp, it was worth a shot...." You said. Your shoulders dropped a little.
You stood up, head still facing the ground. Your eyes unexpectedly started to form tears. Real tears.
You went ahead and wiped some of your tears as you tried to stifle yourself from crying. 'why am I even crying? I'm acting like such a big baby.' you thought, eyes proceeding to create more tears.
Wednesday turned around to see what you were doing since you had stopped whining and begging.
Wednesday's eyes widened a little. She didn't expect you to cry.
'shit.' She thought. She didn't mean to make you cry. She thought of a way to try and make you stop crying.
"Fine." she said.
"huh?" You said glancing her way. Hurriedly wiping wiping your tears away (or at least trying to) "Wednesday what do you mean?"
"I'll cuddle with you. I'll even let you sleep on me." She said as she sighed. Her cheeks were coated with blush, but unlike last time, the blush was actually a little more visible.
"Really?!!!?" You excitedly exclaimed.
"Yes. Now, stop crying before I change my mind." she visibly rolled her eyes.
Wednesday borrowed some of Enid's pillows. 'She won't mind.' she thought, before putting them on her own bed.
5 minutes later and you're already soundly asleep in the arms of your one and only love, Wednesday Addams.
Wednesday glanced at you, making sure that you were actually asleep. '.... You're lucky that I have a soft spot for you.' she thought, lips curling up a little to form a small smile.
She gently kissed the top of your head and hugged you closer. "Sleep well, mi amor." She whispered before she herself slowly dozed off to sleep.
a/n:
I deeply apologize if there are any spelling mistakes. I know I haven't posted for literally a long time, I am really sorry.

can I request jealous Wednesday x fem reader? Wednesday gets jealous of Xavier and the reader so she's more passive aggressive than usual and has the urge to pull pranks on Xavier. But when Wednesday sees reader and Xavier painting the reader chases after her
Tumblr media
Summary: Wednesday is reluctant to accept that she’s jealous of your friendship with Xavier until it all comes ahead.
A/n: Also due to the fact of how fucking long I made this fic, I had to relegate pranks (plural) to a singular prank. I rambled a little bit ngl.
Wednesday hated the gut feeling she’d get whenever she saw you and Xavier within extreme close proximity of one another; As though you were trying to fuse into one being with how pressed against one another you were. It felt like she had a stone stuck in her stomach that refused to dissolve and was starting to cause external as well as internal issues the longer it went unresolved. Normally Wednesday viewed herself above expressing emotions should they not provide beneficial results to her in the long run for the remainder of her stay at Nevermore, or everyday life in general.
However it seemed to Wednesday that you were the peculiar exception to this golden rule she had lived by since the passing of her pet scorpion. She felt fluttery in her chest whenever you laughed, her clothed skin burned with the remnants of your accidental touches and she felt most anticipating when she made plans with you after classes. You’ve managed to brought fourth emotions Wednesday long thought she had killed in order of bettering herself whether you were aware of your effect or not.
She hated it, she hated not being in control of her emotions and by that logic, Wednesday should hate you for being the reason for her lack of self control but she didn’t. Instead she directed all her hatred towards Xavier to the point that castration was a considered punishment but knowing how Nevermore operates; Wednesday knew that short of thing would’ve be allowed to fly without repercussions. ‘A pity really,’ she thought to herself as she maintained eye contact with the back of Xavier’s head as he playfully nudged you with his shoulder, ‘a shame even.’
Enid wished she could see the inner workings of Wednesday’s head but with how brutally she was stabbing the lunch table with her blunt knife, she quickly changed her mind in fear of that knife being directed at her next. “Wednesday, remember what we talked about when we get urge to stab something.” Enid spoke hesitantly as she tried to safely remove the knife away from Wednesday’s hand. When it was brought down harder then the previous times, blade lodged deeply within the table that once Wednesday lets go of the handle, the knife however remained standing straight up. Her eyes never departing from you nor Xavier as they blazed with silent fury. “Keep stabbing until it stops moving.” She replied blankly before standing up.
“Hey! Wednesday! Where are you going-“ Enid tried calling out to her friend when her words got caught up in her throat when her eyes followed the direction she was heading; You and Xavier. “Oh no.” Enid whispered as she rushed after Wednesday in hope of preventing someone’s (read: Xavier’s) death. “I do not want to be caught in the midst of a murder today, I just got these clothes recently and blood would not go well with them.” She rambled under her breath as nervousness got the better of her when she finally managed to catch up with Wednesday who was looking straight at you.
“Y/n.”
“Oh shit.” you almost jumped out of your chair at the sudden voice beside you had Xavier not caught you by the shoulders to stabilise you. Giving the boy your thanks you looked to your side of the table to see Wednesday and Enid standing there. “Hey Wednesday! Hey Enid, what’s up? Me and Xavier here were just-“ “I need you to come over to my-“ “our” Enid interrupted, flashing a smile when Wednesday looked at her with almost murderous intent before bringing her attention back to you. “Our dorm,” she shot enid a glare, “to look over some studies that were assigned to us last period.”
“We did?” You questioned as you, Xavier and Enid share a look of confusion as all four of you had last period together and to your recollection, there was no tasked assignment. So either you had shit memory or something else was at hand here that you were oblivious towards. Xavier shrugged his shoulders, “beats me and I tend to pay attention in my classes.” You shoved him by the shoulder as you laughed, “you fucking liar, no you don’t you always end up copying my notes or worse!” Xavier chuckled, extending his hand to pat your sympathetically on the shoulder.
“I make it up to you don’t I?” He asked innocently, making you scoff as you swat away his hand. before bringing his attention to Wednesday who by now has her jaw so tightly clenched behind a deadpan face that she swore she felt some teeth crack under the pressure she was putting them under. “Are you sure we got an assessment Wednesday? Me and y/n here have made plans to go beyond and explore the realms of possibilities of which through art later tonight.” Xavier iterated the last part in a tone he knew would get to you, in the end you couldn’t help but snort as you smacked his shoulder. “Stop talking like that, I’ll think I’ll piss myself.” You croaked through your laughter as you leant against Xavier for support.
“Too much information y/n,” Xavier grimaced but he sucked at keeping it up as his lips cracked into a bigger smile, “just too much information.” Whilst you both were distracted with your laughter, Enid could see that Wednesday was gesturing for something lurking under your table with her head and when she went to angled herself better to see what it was and to her surprise; Thing could be seen unlacing Xavier’s shoelaces before tying them back together again in a fashion that would have him take a personal greeting with the floor before scampering off back to where he came.
Now Enid never pegged Wednesday as the prankster type, considering the fact that she had told her time and time again that she was above such childish shenanigans. Yet here she was, having Thing pull pranks on her behalf all because she was jealous. “You’re right,” Wednesday uncharacteristically admitted, “must’ve got my dates incorrect, how foolish of me.” She then shrugs but before she leaves your table; Wednesday looked back over her shoulder, “Xavier.” She said. “Yeah?” He replied, albeit confused. “Watch your step.” Was all she said before walking away, leaving Enid to hastily bid you both goodbye as she rushed to catching up to her before mouthing something neither of you could decipher.
“What did she meant by that?” Xavier asked as he looked at you, watching the back of Wednesday’s head as she faded from view. “No idea but hearing that come from her? It’s probably not a good thing.” You admitted, sensing that something was off with Wednesday but you knew better then to openly confront a hostile animal. She wouldn’t budge an inch. So you decided that it would be best to let her work through whatever it was that she was going through in her own time. “Well that’s real reassuring.” Xavier said glumly before slinging his bag over his shoulder.
“We better get going before we’re late to herbology class.” He adds as he goes to stand up but as he attempts to move out from his seat; Xavier notices a little too late that his shoes were mysteriously tied together, causing him to trip over himself and fall flat on the floor with a yelp. “Oh my god, Xavier are you alright!” You exclaimed as you scrambled to help him up off of the floor, dusting him down of any dirt that might’ve lingered. “I understood what she meant by that now.” Xavier grimaced in pain. You both ended up being late for class by a couple of minutes due to Xavier stopping to unlace his shoes and tying them back up properly before practically sprinting across Nevermore towards your next lesson.
The next time Wednesday walked in on you and Xavier bonding, it wasn’t until nightfall that she came across the sound of laughter filling the air, growing louder and louder the closer she got to the abandoned shed Xavier had tricked out into an art studio. Her blood still boiled with how at ease Xavier seemed whenever he got physical with you and how you never seem to bask in his affection. She despised her Achilles heel which was you and the illogical thoughts you brought up within her head, causing her to loose rational train of thought and sleep as she now wandered the school grounds late at night in hopes for sleep to greet her. However Wednesday found herself stood outside the shed where she could hear yours and Xavier’s conversation loud and clear.
“You messy pup! Your getting paint on everything except the canvas!” Xavier exclaimed though it was in good nature considering how quick he was to laugh. “We’ll maybe if I had more to go on then the bullshit excuse of ‘painting with my heart.’ Then I wouldn’t be such a messy pup then would I?” You replied, reduced to a laughing fit of your own. It was obvious to Wednesday that you were both having fun, so much fun in fact that she believed that she was the last thing on your mind. You rarely visited her and Enid in their dorm anymore, too busy having Xavier occupying your time. Seemingly possessed by the betrayal she was feeling in that moment, Wednesday forcefully opened the door in time to see Xavier stand a breaths width away from you, holding your face in his hands as his thumb rubs away at some remnants of paint.
His gaze seemed a little too intense for Wednesday’s liking as she took into account of the way he looked at you that same exact way she caught herself looking at you; as though you’ve painted the night sky of which you hung the stars from. Your eyes darted to hers as they widened at the realisation of how this looked to other people but before you could open your mouth to say anything. Wednesday had already slammed the door shut behind her as she left. Xavier knew there was something between you and Wednesday and he wanted to help you in expressing your feelings in a way that didn’t suffocate Wednesday. However it seemed that she might’ve misunderstood this as him making a move on you which couldn’t be further from the truth. “Go after her.” Xavier said, stepping away from you.
“She won’t believe me-“ “well then try to make her believe you.” Xavier stopped you before you could admit defeat. “You like this girl don’t you?” He asked, “of course I do Xavier, I like her very, very much.” You admitted, feeling the tears of frustration well up in the corner of your eyes. Xavier smiled softly as he cross the room to open the door, “Then go get her, tiger.” He urges as he gestured towards the silhouette of Wednesday that was slowly fading away from view the further and further away she got. You smiled at Xander, “thank you.” You said to him before bolting out of the art studio and after Wednesday as fast as your legs could carry you.
“You got this!” You heard Xavier exclaim from behind which only pushed you even further forward as you darted past trees, bushes, the archery range until you could vaguely make out Wednesday making her way to the front of the building that lead up to her dorm in Ophelia Hall. “Wednesday!” You called, uncaring of who you woke up in the process, the only thing that mattered to you was setting things straight. “Wednesday wait, I need to talk to you!” You saw Wednesday stop at the doors and you almost felt like collapsing when you finally caught up to her, leaving heavily on the door as you struggled to filling your lungs with the sufficient amount of oxygen.
“What do you want.” Wednesday snapped. She hadn’t meant to stop but something within her told her that she’d be better off hearing you out. “I’m going to cut the bullshit and get to the point,” you said through gasps, coughing briefly before taking a deep breath, “I like you Wednesday Addams. I like you a lot, I’ve been meaning to find ways of telling you how I feel that wouldn’t overwhelm you or make you uncomfortable. So I’ve taken to asking Xavier for advice because he’s and artist and shit as you know.” Wednesday felt a familiar fluttering in her chest as you continued to explain yourself when all she really cared enough to hear was that you liked her and only did what you did as to not force her out of her comfort zone for you.
So instead of letting you continue your long winded explanation, Wednesday merely grabbed ahold of your shirt, pulling you into her lips as she gave you a chaste kiss before shoving you away slightly. Your wide eyed expression had a smile creep up on Wednesday’s face as she quickly composed herself. “I like you too,” she headed you silently cheer to yourself, “however you can start repaying me for sacrificing our time together by joining me on the astrology tower tomorrow night.” Your eyes widened and your smile stretched across your face. “Like a date, a date date?” Wednesday couldn’t help but scoff at your choice of words before replying, “yes, like a date date.”

Tumblr media
Ever since the arrival of Wednesday Addams in Nevermore and the unfortunate expulsion of Rowan, your boyfriend, Xavier Thorpe had been acting rather, unusual, to say the least.
Yes, he did lose his roommate and he was being tormented by frequent nightmares of a creature — it was enough to make one lose their sanity. Yet today, in particular, he was acting odd.
You noticed that today, he was feeling uncomfortable, bothered by the slightest conversation, as if he were scared. He also was making an attempt to cover his neck either with his collar or hands. You observed that the reason as to why he was hiding his neck was due to the large red scars that were planted on it — worst of all, they were fresh. They looked as if a creature had attacked his neck as it appeared that maybe claws were the cause of it.
You overheard him informing Wednesday that the scars were due to fencing class yet you knew him better than anyone — he wasn’t that careless to get injured so terribly in fencing. It was probably due to another cause.
Eventhough, deep down you knew you shouldn't inquire him about his latest injury something had urged you to question him about it. You wanted to know why he looked and felt so terrified. After all, you were his girlfriend, shouldn't you have a right to know?
Reluctantly, you made your way to his art studio which was an old shed he had cleaned out. You knew he was in it due to the slow hum of the music you could hear from the outside and the small light rays that penetrated out of the shed's windows.
Xavier would visit the shed whenever he was in distress. Lately, he'd been visiting it quite often as he was tortured by all his horrifying dreams and the events occurring in Jericho. The rumours of the creature in the woods weren't helping either.
One, two, three. You knocked thrice onto the door, patiently waiting for the man inside to let you in. After a few moments on waiting, the door finally opened to reveal an anger-stricken Xavier, who leaned against the doorway of the shed.
His palms were coloured in different shades of blue and red, indicating that he was painting. Whereas his eyes were both avoidant of your gaze. He kept glancing at his shoes, not even bothering to greet you — other times, he'd let you in, showing off anything new he had painted.
You broke off the awkward silence with a small cough, 'can I come in?' you lightly asked as you attempted to smile at him. Still not meeting your eyes, he replied with a simple 'sure,' and moved out of the way so that you could enter.
You looked around and were horrified at the sight of the inside of the shed. Nearly every corner was filled with sketches, drawings and paintings of the creature - some scribbled messily while others were decorated in detail. You now knew that his nightmares were only getting worse even with his multiple therapy sessions, he still wasn't getting any better.
'So what do you want?' Xavier asked with no emotion. You turned to look at him after finally tearing your eyes away from the gnarly pictures he had drawn. 'I just wanted to check up on you, see how you're feeling,' you replied, 'I noticed your scars and I wanted to ask you...' you trailed off, unsure of how to continue since you noticed that his expression hardened.
'Why? So you could blame me for all the murders?' he snapped. You had no idea what Xavier could possibly mean by that statement. Did someone blame him? Was that he was feeling so sour?
'No, I don't blame you at all and you know that. I was just here to check up on you and-' before you could finish, you were cut off by Xavier: 'well, I don't need you checking up on me, I'm perfectly fine. Stop pretending like you ever actually cared,' he shouted.
All the worry you had about him left you immediately, you yelled back at him as he yelled at you. You both were shouting back and forth, throwing cruel words at eachother. Until, you had had enough. Your eyes and cheeks were now stained with tears, your lips were bleeding due to you biting them aggressively and you wanted nothing more than to leave.
His harsh words were enough for you to finally leave his shed, filled with rage and sadness. Clearly, he was not feeling alright and took out his anger on you. You were just trying to check up on him, what could've caused him to feel like this?
To be honest, you were angry at him, terribly angry. You stormed into your room, trying to block off any thoughts you had about him. Yet you couldn't since no matter how foolish he acted, you still liked him.
Tumblr media
Rave'N was suppose to be a fun and eventful night for any outcast. Well, any outcast except for you. Ever since your argument with Xavier, you didn't bother talking to him, even when he attempted to apologise to you.
You went with your friend and roommate, Yoko and instead of moping over Xavier, you decided to actually enjoy yourself. It was a party after all, you were suppose to enjoy yourself here. The drinks and loud music were finally making you forget all about Xavier.
After a couple of drinks and a few dances with Yoko, you were finally exhausting yourself. Tearing away from Yoko and the dance floor, you finally sat down on a table you presumed to be empty to rest a bit before going back.
'I see you're enjoying yourself here,' a familiar yet unexpecting voice called — the last voice you wanted to hear right now. Sighing, you turned to look at the unwelcomed face of Xavier. You raised your brow, 'So? It's a party,' you replied, not even bothering to pay attention to him.
'Hey listen...' he began as he sat himself next to you. You knew what to expect, for the past few days, Xavier had been attempting to apologise to you for his harsh words yet you didn't bother listening to any of his apologies; most of the time, Yoko would just tell him to leave.
You sighed and turned to look at him, 'you've told me that same apology multiple times but you have to realise that I was really hurt by your words... I was just worried.' This was probably the longest conversation you both had this entire week.
'Xavier, I understand you were hurting back then but I just kinda wished you ta—‘ before you could finish your statement, you got interrupted by a pair of lips on yours.
It was a surprised gesture but you reciprocated it almost immediately; you missed this so much. You’d never admit it but you really did miss Xavier loads. Just by kissing him, all the events of the past few days were lost; you just wanted to be with him.
Once you two pulled apart, Xavier looked at his shoes, avoiding your gaze again — it looked as if he was embarrassed of his actions.
‘I’m really sorry about that, y/n. I shouldn’t have done that,’ he stated apologetically. Deep down, Xavier longed for things to go back to the way they were. He felt upset and he missed you so much.
‘Hey, it’s alright. I’m kinda over it besides, you were just on edge back then; we both said things that we regretted. I understand,’ you gently spoke. Xavier looked at you with hopeful eyes yet he didn’t utter a single word.
The last thing Xavier expected you to do was stand up and offer your hand to his, inviting him onto the dance floor.
‘Come on,’ you said as you happily dragged him to the dance floor.

shut up - ajax petropolus x reader
Tumblr media
a/n: if i can’t find the angst, then i will write the angst
pairing: ajax petropolus x reader
warnings: fights, cussing, the usual cheese
genre: angst with fluff, 1.2k words
tags: @sunflowermotel @maraseavey @tinylatina01 @obx-direction-sos @stfukie @voguesir @morgansmoreid @yunhosleftpinky @adoreyou976
“C’mon. Don’t do that.” Ajax huffs, hands stuffed in his pockets. He stands a good eight feet away from you.
“Do what? Seriously, Jax, do what? Tell me what we are doing, I would love to know.” Your eyes widen as you speak.
Ajax is an ass. Ajax has no idea how to communicate. Ajax is telling you, after about two years of flirting and leading you on, that he needs space to figure out what he wants.
“Don’t do that! I’m not doing this to be mean, Y/n. I seriously just need to figure my own shit out. Give me some fuckin’ time!”
You want to scream. You want to shove his stupid beanie into his stupid face and accept the rocky consequences. “Time? You want time?” You seethe.
He does not take the hint that he should immediately say no. “Yes! I swear, Y/n, I do like-” “Shut up, Ajax. Fuck you.”
You interrupt him. Ajax groans at the sky and prepares to deal with the next argument you throw at him, but it never comes. He looks back at you, and is terrified.
There are tears in your eyes. And he has no idea when they began or what he’s done, but Ajax is speechless for the first time in years. Finally, after standing so far from you during this whole spectacle, he takes one step towards you. “Y/n, don’t cry, I didn’t mean to upset you.”
You take a step back. “Shut up. God, just shut up,” your voice is weak and you sniffle in the pauses between words. Ajax feels each pause somewhere in his stomach, a hit to his soul. “You know what, Ajax,” you back further away from him, “You want time, you got it. Take all the time you need. Take forever. It doesn’t matter anymore. I can’t wait anymore for you to decide whether or not you actually want me. You have ruined me for two years. I won’t give you more time, Ajax. Take it for yourself.”
You finish strong, which you think is a win. At least you have not lost all of your dignity in front of him. But he watches your bottom lip tremble, and he feels panic rise in him. His hands are shaking and he is suddenly remembering the way he felt the first time he stoned his best friend and ultimately thought they were dead. The fear that he has forced you away and is now really, finally, losing you takes hold. Time. He just needs time. He just needs to figure out how he can permanently stop himself from turning you into stone, just enough time for that. But how does he say that? ‘I’m so sorry my hair is made of snakes and every time I get near you I want to be extremely close to you and I’m terrified that I might hurt you and it scares the shit out of me, but I can’t really get rid of them, please give me time to figure out how?’
He supposes that is exactly how he should tell you, but he has no words. Instead he sputters out, “Wait,” as he’s watching you walk away from him. And the way you don’t pause for him, don’t wait at all, should be reason enough for him to leave you alone.
But when has he ever been reasonable?
And so he trails behind you like a lost puppy, gasping for air in between his words as he tells you he really does want to be with you. His feet drag through puddles of recent rain, and your hair is a little damp, and first he hopes your sniffles are because of the weather and not him. Then he wonders how long you’d been out here before he came looking. How long did you wait for him to realize you were gone?
He hopes the splashes the puddles make cover up the wavers in his own voice. “Y/n, please, just listen. I swear it’s not like that. No one else. There’s nobody but you, Y/n. I’ll fix it, okay? Just a little time, okay? You know how I feel about you. Please, Y/n. Say something.”
He mumbles the last part as you enter your dorm room. You turn around to close the door and he sees your face as you grip the frame.
“It’s late, Ajax. You should go.”
He does not want to go. He is running on pure adrenaline and a little weed when he scales the brick wall up to your dorm window. His mind has never been clearer. The deadly climb up here locked in his plan and his words. He finds the door onto the balcony is unlocked and he stumbles into your room.
You groan and stand. “Jax, go.”
“Shut up.” He snaps, pointing a finger at you. “Sit down. Shut up and sit down. Listen. I have something to say.”
You sit down on the bed. You prop your hand on your palm and nod to him to talk.
He takes the hint. “I get it, okay? I’m stupid. Dumb as fuck. Really out of the loop. And I’m bad at telling you what’s going on, but it’s only because I really like you. Never felt like this for anyone. You know that. You know I’m head over heels for you.” He tilts his head to the side.
“Cheesy,” You mutter.
“Shut up.” He points again. “And I’m sorry if I made you feel any different. I didn’t know I was doing that. But, Y/n, I’m so scared of being with you. I’m so scared of hurting you. And don’t tell me it’s only temporary, it wouldn’t just be temporary. Things would be different.” He doesn’t say the word, but you know what he means. “You wouldn’t trust me, I’d be even more scared of you. Don’t look at me like that, I’ve thought this out. I’m smart enough to know what that would mean. And what about when I fuck up? I have no brain around you. I’ll do something stupid and I’ll hurt you like I am now.” He rambles, eyebrows drawing closer together as he word-vomits in front of you. He looks away for a second, as if he’s trying to string his mind together. You know what he means.
“You ever want something so bad, that when the chance to have it comes, you can’t take it? Because you have no idea what it’ll feel like? And youve wanted it for so long, that now you can’t ruin it. And if you do, it’ll be all on you. And you won’t even have that chance anymore, you’ll have nothing. And what do I do if I have nothing, Y/n? What do I do if I mess up? How do I fix it?” He finishes finally, and finds that he’s made his way closer to you. Closer than he’s been in weeks, close enough for you to stand and grasp his hand.
“You’re fixing it now, Jax.”
He looks down at your hand holding his. “I’m not great at this.” He whispers.
“You’ll learn.” You answer.
He looks up at you and is relieved by your smile.
“Do you still need time?” You tease, eyebrows high. He surges forward, pressing his lips to yours, practically suffocating you. He presses warm kisses to your face and then your neck, walking you backwards towards your bed.
You push away from him and he chases after your lips, leaning forward.
“Actually, how did you even get in?” He silences your question with another kiss, hand coming up to grasp the side of your neck, thumbing over your jaw.
He shakes his head, “Shut up. Seriously. I have waited so long for this, shut up.”
