if i'm being realistic, i'd say all of them. there are artworks i put a lot of passion into that end up less popular than some of my casual ones, which is a bit demotivating sometimes. but the question implies that i pick one artwork! so, being absolutely and totally specific, i would say my most recent piece! it's already become the top post (although not the most popular) on my blog after less than a month, but i just. can't stop thinking about it. i want to share it with the world!!

[33: have you taken a lot of classes for art?]

absolutely not! i started drawing when i was really young, so i had no clue about anything like art school existing, let alone youtube classes for art. a lot of my skill comes from experimentation and copying my older sister (thanks sis!) until i developed an understanding for anatomy, colouring and such. although nowadays i like to watch a few helpful videos on things like shape and form to make up for the things i didn't learn!

[35: if you had one piece of advice to give your younger artist self, what would it be?]

oh my gosh. i would grab her by the shoulders, drop to my knees and beg her to take constructive criticism. when i was a younger artist (like. REALLY young) i could not take criticism for the life of me. my anatomy was wonky and awkward, the heads of my characters were oversized, and despite all the times my family pointed it out to me in good will, i took it as a personal attack on my skill and artstyle. which stunted my progress massively. yikes! i think that if i hadn't been so scared of the flaws in my work, i would've developed a lot faster. nowadays, i've learned not to take it to heart, but to take it as helpful advice!

Yeah exactly! Like I'm sure most people think it's cool to get messages like this or anything in that vein of "you inspired me to start vtubing!" But it's also fair to assume they don't want to like hype you up and then set a precedence of being a big vtuber that smaller ones can use to get attention. Like it's not rude it's just being smart to avoid weird situations later.

Even here after my tips post blew up I started getting people trying to "befriend me" only to turn around and ask for promos a day or two later. And like this blog is still pretty small and that post doesn't have that many notes! (At time of posting I'm under 400 followers and the post is still under 1k notes, nowhere close to a big blog or a viral post.) Like if you had 5k followers (the absolute lowest end of big vtubers) and 1% were overly personal and invasive types, that would be 50 people you need to deal with. I get overwhelmed when it's like 5!

So yeah, I really don't think it's fair to call big vtubers impersonal bitches or w/e when it's just the only way to set boundaries sometimes.
