This is going to be a dumb request so my apologies if it's too convoluted. On episode 110 of Sailor Moon S there's a melody that plays on the scene when Haruka and Michiru hold hands, I cannot seem to find it on the OST so all I have is literally Haruka and Michiru Hold Hands... hope you're having a nice day!

I know exactly the scene you're talking about. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have an official release. (that I can find)

A midi cover with the filename "Mercury no Toujou" circulated a while in the old days and that seems to be the closest thing to a name it has. But the song itself is just an arrangement of the classical piece "Sarabande" by Handel.

That said there's a beautiful cover of "Mercury no Toujou" by Senchatunes which I totally recommend their channel for top notch Sailor Moon piano covers

Here's hoping the original arrangement that appears in the show can be released at some point

It's insane! Cuz at first you think it's just Saionji and then you think it's about Utena and then it hits you when she says it all. It's not Utena, Saionji or Anthy, it's everyone! She's just a nobody in the eyes of everyone she wants to be seen. She wants to be seen as special like people but not only how see Anthy but how they see Utena or the members of the student council, it's the anger everyone on the Black Rose arc: "Why you? And why NOT ME?!" why do Utena and Saionji care for Anthy and not for Wakaba? Why do people constantly see Utena and Saionji as special? And so on... oh, Wakaba.

I love this energy for my girl Wakaba!!!

Fully agreed that nobody sees her in the light she wants and she feels plain in comparison to everyone else in Ohtori. She wants to be loved so bad by Saonji because she thinks that's a way to become special, like some of his (perceived) light will shine on her and it's so heartbreaking to watch. As viewers we can have our best "DUMP HIM" shirt on but it makes sense that she holds on to the hope that this guy who's not part of Ohtori anymore could just be... normal and hers. She's the only one who needs to know she has the former Ohtori jock in her room drinking coffee out of animal mugs.

My memory's fuzzy on some details but I find it interesting how Utena and Saonji can seem similar to Wakaba in some ways (popular, athletic, part of the student council...) and how she's livid because Anthy "stole" Saonji but really, Wakaba "lost" Utena to Anthy first so Saonji was just the drop to overflow the glass and push home that feeling of "Why not me?"

You could also argue that some of her anger towards Utena comes from seeing her being very close to Anthy in ways she wasn't with Wakaba before. (Why could Anthy's feelings reach Utena and hers don't? Why not me?!)

Idk I like to think about Wakaba's feelings for Utena but they're so complex and layered I get lost in them lol

I know First Kiss was posted a while ago but I severely need to gush about the usage of color.

It starts dark red and purple in the background with the Pulverizer, Timothy and Donatello in soft orange, then Donnie is seen in the dark colors but then when the seven shifts at him and Timothy it abruptly shifts to soft yellow, light orange and pink to what I must assume is a love confession in the middle of chaos which the distress is shown with two scenes of Timothy in again the dark colors and as Donnie realization hits on the entire background gets splashed with the pink on the red ala pop art... and with a few shots of Don grabbing Timothy's head we jump to the kiss and yellow, pink and orange taking over everything, taking over the purple of Donnie, the background and them, those soft colors that at first were sparingly used now take over all the picture. No longer the alarm and distress of the initial picture and colors but the warmth and softness of the new colors paints it all.

I am literally obsessed with the mastery of the usage of the color palette to tell a story in First Kiss. In my opinion, one of the best arts I've seen.

No cuz it's so deeply interesting how Flynn and Jenna are the most overtly pessimist about the group being together but in multiple parts of the route it's very explicit that out of all both of them are the ones that explicitly wish that the group stays together that they keep being friends.

It truly is so interesting how they're both bracing themselves into defeat constantly in order to not be hurt by things turning bad, Flynn and Jenna like always reflecting each other. They both critique Leo for being childish about wanting them to be friends but Flynn and Jenna want that! They're mocking themselves, they think that it's childish even though they both just wanna be with the people that were for them on their hardest times. Why wouldn't they want to be with them?

I LOVE CHARACTERS WHO SUBCONSCIOUSLY PUT UP A FRONT BOTH TO PROTECT THEIR LOVED ONES AND THEIR OWN PRIDE. ALL MY HOMIES LOVE CHARACTERS WHOSE LOVE LANGUAGE IS BLUNT AND CRITICAL BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO DIRECT THEIR WORDS BACK AT THEMSELVES.
