Have you seen the new Valentines PV from Shounen Jump? Its v cute, it has a really fun aesthetic and will make a lot of nice wallpapers. It also has a shitty error where they’ve included Tiger even though he’s a man, but I want to talk about something different.

I couldn’t help noticing the utter sidelining of poor Ochako. She does not get her own splash like Kinoko, Nejire, Camie, Hatsume, S&S, Eri, Jirou, Tsuyu, Momo or Hagakure, or any of the villain girls.

In fact she shares small panels in a group frame, then is shown in an Insta-style sequence with Ashido and that infamous keychain.

What made me spit out my tea is the final frame of this sequence.

The ONE bit of dialogue they included in this whole Valentine’s themed promo was Ochako shouting CHIGAU NO ASHIDO-CHAN!

“YOU’RE WRONG ASHIDO-CHAN!”

Uhhhh….. ummm. Okay. Let’s just— I mean… I don’t know what to do with this. Just a reminder though:

i just finished watching pink lie, which is a korean dating show where the contestants introduce themselves with a fake name and hide something apparently “big” about themselves that results to some of them lying about their occupation, age etc. At the end they revealed all their secrets and i got so mad bc the level of the secrets were so different that it was unfair to the others that shared something deeper. they did my girl hanui so dirty she literally revealed that she was an adult actor and how negatively it affected her after to the point where she hadn’t dated for 6 years and another girly was like my parent are so rich i’ve never worked a day in life and get an allowance of 15 million a month, like girl bfr. Like i get why some of them would want to hide some facts about themselves, but most of them were ridiculous. anyways the point of this post was for justice to my girl hanui she deserves the world and nothing less, was rooting for her from the start.
