Ever since he drunkenly confessed to being a virgin and having never seen a girl naked before, teasing your roommate became your favorite hobby. The best way to do so, you found, was by randomly flashing him in public places. In the subway, during your morning runs in Central Park, or even in your apartment building's hallway.
It was amusing to watch him get flustered and whine every time.
Your favorite one was at the bodega down the street when getting snacks.
It was never anything too scandalous. Just a quick flash of one of your breasts when nobody but him was looking.
Little did you know, all those teasings were driving Ethan crazy. The number of public boners he got lately was embarrassing. All because of your pretty tits. God he wished he could cum on them and paint you with his cum.
A couple of weeks of teasing later, the game was still just as fun as the first time. You thought Ethan would get less flustered with time, but he didn’t. His whines turned into groans, getting more annoyed at you than scandalized. There were a few incidents where someone else got a peak too, like that one time in the subway, but you got out before the man could come sit next to you and try to get a grope.
‘’Tara changed her mind, by the way,’’ you told Ethan while finishing your slice of overpriced cherry pie at the café around the block. ‘’She will be joining us on Friday. She and Sam got into an argument and she wants to piss her off by going to the Kappa Phi party.’’
Ethan frowned. ‘’Won’t this aggravate the situation?’’ he asked, already done with his late lunch and just playing on his phone.
You nodded. ‘’Probably, but Tara is set on pissing her off more.’’
‘’This is not gonna end well and I don’t want to be there when it blows up.’’
‘’Me either.’’ You looked around to see if anyone was looking your way, then pulled the top of your cami and flashed a boob. ‘’I can’t finish. I’m full. Do you want the rest of my cherry pie?’’
‘’I told you not to take the pie—’’ His words were cut off when he looked up. ‘’Ugh, please stop,’’ Ethan whined half-heartedly, covering his face with his palm to hide how flustered he was.
You giggled in return, pushing your plate toward him. ‘’Your face matched the pie’s filling.’’
In the midst of the jokes and all the teasing, you fell into the cliché of falling for your roommate and found yourself developing feelings for Ethan. You didn’t think this would happen when you signed the lease, but he was sweet, dorky and surprisingly muscled under his preppy polos.
The problem was, you tried to flirt with Ethan, but he was rather clueless when it came to understanding girls' intentions. Seeing that your hints weren't working, you decided to take a more direct approach. You bumped up your teasing by dressing in lingerie and casually strolling around the apartment one Sunday morning. Perhaps this would finally make him realize your feelings for him.
The bra and panty set you chose was light pink and barely covered anything. It was a guaranteed boner.
In Ethan’s routine, Sundays were for staying in and watching movies or catching up on his readings for Monday’s classes. However, this Sunday was different. When Ethan woke up and went to get the coffee machine working, he stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of his roommate standing in the kitching in lingerie.
‘’Shit. Sorry. I didn’t know you were up.’’
You turned around when you heard his voice and saw Ethan’s eyes were wide like a deer caught in headlights, pieces of curly hair sticking up at the back from moving during his sleep.
He gulped, averting his eyes from your body and trying to stay calm — in other words, trying to not get a boner. ‘’Did you have someone over? You probably do… I didn’t hear anything though, which is strange because these walls are paper-thin.’’ Ethan covered his face with his palms, immediately regretting that last sentence. ‘’Eh, I can go to Chad’s and come back later when your date leaves—’’ he rushed, stumbling over his words.
‘’There’s no one here. I dressed up for you,’’ you responded with a playful smile.
Your words hung in the air, a mix of anticipation and uncertainty enveloping the room.
‘’For me?’’ Ethan echoed skeptically.
You nodded, looking up at him sweet and innocent as you awaited his response. ‘’Do you like it?’’
Ethan twitched in his sweatpants, his mouth unable to form any words.
‘’I've been trying to drop hints, but it's like you're immune to them. So, I thought maybe this would make it a bit clearer…’’ You stepped closer to him, pushing your shoulders back to make your chest more forward.
Ethan's cheeks flushed a shade of pink darker than your lingerie. He scratched his head, a shy smile tugging at his lips. It was too early for this kind of confession. His brain was barely awake. ‘’I... I didn't realize. I thought you were just teasing me because of me being a virgin.’’
‘’Initially. But I found myself developing a strange liking to the dorky virgin I was teasing,’’ you said, taking a step closer to him and closing the gap between you. ‘’What do you say we stop playing, Roomie?’’ You reached between your breasts and unclasped your bra, freeing Ethan’s two enemies for the last few months.
Not knowing what to respond, Ethan simply kissed you.
While he lacked experience, it wasn’t his first kiss. He had kissed a few girls during high school…and had a lot of practice kissing the back of his hand.
Luckily for him, you were there to show him the ropes, your hands wandering up and wrapping around his neck to pull your body closer. He gasped softly against your mouth, feeling your breasts press against his chest through his shirt, your body warmth sending waves of electricity through him.
You slid one hand underneath his worn Star Wars shirt and Ethan pulled back when he felt his cock twitch again. And since your body was so close to his, you felt it too.
‘’Sorry… It’s just—’’
You shook your head. ‘’It’s okay. I got you,’’ you assured with a sweet smile, wanting to make him feel not so anxious about his lack of experience. You wanted him to focus on what you were going to do to him. ‘’I got you.’’
You pressed your lips to Ethan’s once more, taking his hands as you kissed and running them over your body. They found the path to your breasts and Ethan couldn’t help but give them a small squeeze, making you laugh softly. Of course he would do that.
As you slid down him to the floor, Ethan’s breath caught in his throat. You felt him tense and looked up, telling him it’s gonna be okay. He nodded and you pursued, undoing his  dark grey sweatpants and slowly pulling them down. His boxers were already tented as you moved your hand over his hard cock, a small wet spot of precum making the fabric a darker color.
Ethan was pleasantly big, but not so massive you would need two hands. You slowly slid your hand down the shaft, maintaining the slightest pressure. At the base you grasped a bit harder and dragged your hand back to the now reddish head, circling it in your fist.
‘’Aah fuck,’’ Ethan moaned out. It felt much better than his own hand.
You giggled at his reaction and continued your ministries. ‘’I haven’t put my mouth on you yet.’’
‘’I don’t ca—’’ his voice was cut by another moan, his whole body shuddering as you leaned forward to give him a long lick from base to tip.
You kept licking up and down his shaft, wanting to get him nice and wet as you moved your hands to his balls. Ethan threw his head back, the muscles of his thighs flexing. He was going to cum fast, as most first-timers embarrassingly did.
Not wanting him to spill before the fun began, you opened your lips and took the weeping, engorged head into your mouth.
‘’Fuck, that feels so good!’’ he moaned out weakly, his hands searching for something to grab, something to hold onto.
You grinned around his cock and opened your mouth wider, taking as much of him in your mouth as you could.
After a little over a minute, Ethan couldn’t hold it anymore. He was a whimpering and moaning mess above you, gripping the countertop to keep his control. As soon as you felt the first spurt of cum in your mouth, you pulled off and let him cum all over your breasts, painting them in white ribbons.
You had never done this before, but you thought Ethan would like it. And he did.
When he was done, he looked down at you, cum running down your chin, and whined as his cock twitched.

Tara Carpenter x Fem Reader
Warnings: Christmas stuff, slight fluff, being nervous and shy as f*ck
A/N: Sorry for my bad writing, sorry for switching the perspectives :D I hope that the translation was at least good. Have fun. I tried my best.
When you’re home
Y/n sat on her armchair in her two-room apartment as she comfortably drank a ginger tea. When she took a sip of it, she slightly twisted her face and whispered "spicy." She smiled and looked out the window. It was snowing and the snow breathed the city of New York into a beautiful white. She ran over to the window and sat down on the window sill to watch the snow.
It was her first Christmas in New York. Before that, New York seemed to be a dream world for her. A world she only knew from movies. If her ten-year-old self could only see her now. She lived in a small overpriced apartment near her college. She studied (insert) and even had a girlfriend.
She was surprised herself. She could never have guessed how things would develop after she moved here. Y/N had a girlfriend. How strange.
As y/n continued to observe the falling snow, she had to think of Tara. What did Tara do right now ? She asked herself. She hadn't seen her girlfriend for a week because they were both busy with their exams. Now it was finally the weekend. For now, that meant that she could switch back and relax. No learning for now.
A flashing light attracted y/n attention. She looked to the left and could see how her neighbors opposite the house decorated their windows with fairy lights. "Oh shit," y/n said to herself. She had forgotten to buy and decoration for Christmas herself she totally forgot because of all the exam tasks, after all, tomorrow was already the first Advent. Y/N sighed and put her cup aside. This was her first Christmas alone. Without her family. Otherwise, her mother had made sure that everyone in the family came to decorate. She always bought the Christmas decorations.
Suddenly y/n cell phone rang. She looked over to the living room table and saw a picture of herself and Tara.
She answered and said shy "hey"
Tara laughed into the cell phone "y/n where are you? We're waiting"
Y/n looked confused out of the window
"What do you mean?" She asked laughing slight
Tara sighed slight
"Decorating. Christmas. You. Me. In... my apartment?" She said in a cute way
Y/n laughed and felt her heartbeat running faster "is this your way to ask me if I Wanne come over to decorate with you?"
Tara hesitated with the answer and grinned broadly when she said "maybe?"
Y/n grinned "wow who's the shy one now?"
Tara laughed "thin ice y/n... thin ice"
Y/n grinned wider and felt the heat in her cheeks. Normally y/n was always the shy and nervous one of both, but there were those rarely sweet moments when it was exactly the other way around.
"Okay Fine..." said Tara and sounded like she was giving up "would you like to come over for decorating? Since it will be our first Christmas together?"
"But it's not Christmas yet" I said teasing
Tara sighed again but y/n could already see in front of her eyes how Tara smiled, her dimples came out and the slight blush appeared in her cheeks.
"My god do you two always need so much time to get to the point?" I heard Sam say on the other side of the line.
Suddenly the cell phone rushed at Tara's side and Sam said to Y/n "please come over y/n. We wanted to decorate the apartment and we had the idea to invite you"
I smiled broadly and nodded even though she couldn't see it.
"I'll be there in 20 minutes... Should I bring anything?" I asked out of intuition and looked through my apartment. Im such an idiot I have no decoration at all I thought.
"Yes, I had the idea that the three of us could eat something... meet Tara in the New Bodega store you can help her with the groceries," said Sam
"Okay, I'm on my way"
Both ended the phone call and y/n put on her coat and gloves. She packed her keys and left the apartment. Outside, she immediately hit a light gust of wind with thousands of snowflakes. She straightened her coat and made her way to the bodega. As it was getting more and more windy, she tried to hurry.
When she saw the lights of the bodega, she sighed with relief and ran across the street. She ran into the bodega and a warm wave hit her. She took a relaxed breath and looked around to find Tara. At that moment, a laugh also had to refrain. Tara was too small to be able to see her across the shelves. And just as this thought went through y/n head, Tara appeared in the next aisle and looked at her warningly "I know exactly what you just thought" she said and pointed her finger at y/n.
Y/n laughed nervously and was thrown off by Tara with a pack of napkins the next moment. Y/n just caught the pack and looked at Tara with a crooked head "Sorry...?" Said y/n shyly.
Tara's facial expressions became gentler and she smiled as she slowly approached y/n. She grabbed her coat and pulled y/n closer to kiss her.
Y/n closed her eyes for a brief moment and had felt a pleasant wave of goosebumps all over her body as Tara's gentle lips touched her.
"What will we cook later?" I asked Tara as we separated from each other.
Tara looked at the little note in her hand "Just some pasta. Nothing special. But on Christmas Eve... you'll get the best Mexican food you have ever eaten"
She said excitedly. Y/n sprays a pleasant warmth in her body when she nervously said "so I’m invited for Christmas?"
Tara smiled wide and moved closer to y/n
"Your my girlfriend... did you though I want to spend Christmas without you?"
Y/n shrugged her shoulders "Yes but... Sam... your family?"
Tara slowly put her arm around y/n waist and kissed her gently on the cheek as she whispered "your my family now..."
Tara detached herself from y/n and searched the shelves for the last ingredients. Y/n looked at her with admiring eyes as she still felt the kiss on her cheek and Tara's words repeated themselves in her head. If only Tara could know how important these words were for y/n. Y/n didn't even knew it herself until that moment. Y/n came out of her trance and followed Tara.
Finally arrived at Tara's and Sam's apartment. Y/n Smiled amazed it was the complete opposite of her apartment. It smelled like baked cookies and there was decoration everywhere. When she entered the living room of the carpenter sisters, it was felt with warm light and a large Christmas tree.
"Wow..." y/n said speechless and looked at the top of the tree that touched the ceiling.
"Sam had to exaggerate a bit with the tree" said Tara and laughed behind y/n.
"Yeah sure... at least we have a Christmas tree. Now let's get this started," said Sam, who came out of her room and pressed a box into y/n hands. Tara brought the groceries to the kitchen and I stood in the living room like a lost deer. I looked around nervously and didn't know where and how to start. My heart began to beat faster and faster and I looked around slightly panicked.
The next moment, Tara took the box from me. She smiled warmly at me "Take off your coat and then help me..."
I nodded silently and went back into the hallway where I hung up my jacket at the cloakroom. I took off my gloves and went nervously back to the living room.
I stood in front of the tree with my arms crossed and looked up to the top with a concentrated look. Since the tree was too big, the top was bent a little because of the ceiling.
"If I get scissors... I could try to cut off the tip. So that a star still fits on it," I said shyly to Tara.
Even before I could finish my sentence, Tara was already holding scissors in front of my face.
I laughed lightly and took it from her.
After I took one of the dining table chairs and climbed on it to get to the top better, I struggled with the scissors to cut through the wood of the tip.
"How's it going up there?" Tara asked and without looking I knew that she was just grinning. I sighed "if you want you can give it a try," I said in a sarcastic tone and looked down at her.
She stood there with her arms crossed and grinned dirty "no thanks. Im good. I like the view tho..."
I looked away nervously and couldn't resist a slight laugh. I immediately felt the heat in my ears and shortly afterwards in my whole face.
After a few seconds, I managed to cut off the tip. And then threw it at Tara with a grin as I got off the chair.
"Hey!" She called and threw the tip back.
I caught it and put it on the living room table.
"I have to admit... I feel a little overwhelmed," I said nervously and looked at the tree and the boxes with the decoration.
Tara hugged y/n from behind and put her head on her shoulder.
"Relax..." she said.
I sighed "relax? Decorating the tree was always stressful at home. No matter how I and my dad had decorated in, my mom then corrected everything afterwards," I said and laughed nervously.
Suddenly I felt Tara's lips on my neck and I got very stiff.
I felt a tingling at the point where her lips had touched me. My thoughts were empty and I began to perceive more the pressure of her arms around my body.
"It's okay..." she now whispered in my ear and I had goosebumps again.
I went to relax my body and let myself fall into Tara's embrace. She held me tight and gave me a gentle kiss on the cheek.
"Come on lovebirds..." said Sam and joined us in the living room.
Y/n blushed slightly again and started decorating the tree with the carpenter sisters. They began to tell each other their weirdest Christmas story's and made sure to not break any Christmas decoration.
When we finished decorating the tree, Sam and Tara began discussing about who could be the one to put the star on the top. I just kept grinning watching them discussing.
"Tara you don't even reach the top and I bought the tree" she said teasing and held the star up so Tara couldn't reach it.
I had to keep my laughing back so hard. I never thought Sam would really tease Tara because of her size.
"Oh really? Watch me!" Said Tara competitive and managed to get the star out of Sam's hands.
Tara walked towards y/n and said
"Pick me up"
"What?" I said and laughed.
Tara looked at me with a tilted head and a slight serious look.
I stopped laughing and nodded. I bent down and put my arms around her thighs and lifted her up the next moment.
Sam laughed "I can't believe it"
We laughed when I held tara up so she could reach the top.
"Everything okay up there?" I asked grinning after Tara still didn't manage to put the star on.
"Why don't you try?" She said slightly annoyed, but I heard a smile.
I grinned broadly and held her tighter.
"Im good... I like the view" I said teasing and looked up at her while her ass wasn't far away from my face.
Tara stopped in her move and looked down at y/n with a grin, before putting the star on top of the tree.
"Finally..." said Sam and left into the kitchen.
I breathed out and let Tara down careful.
She wrapped her arms around my neck and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek.
After decorating the rest and eating together it was already dark outside.
"Thank you for the invite..." I said shy and finished to clean the last dish from our dinner.
"You don't have to be y/n... you’re part of the family" said Sam with a warm smile and touched slight y/n’s shoulder as she left the kitchen.
Again I had that goosebump on my whole body. Family. I repeated in my head.
I turned around and leaned on the kitchen counter when Tara walked towards me and grabbed my hands and intertwined our fingers.
"You good?" She whispered and moved closer to y/n
"Yeah why?" I asked quite and looked into her dark welcoming and shining eyes.
Tara shrugged her shoulders and smiled shy
"You seemed to be a bit off..."
Y/n let go of Tara's hands and placed them on Tara's hips and pulled her closer in.
"I'm good..." I whispered with a slight smile.
Tara moved her hand slowly around y/n neck and moved even closer whispering "you stay the night?" Her lips brushed slight y/n’s.
Y/n blushed and grinned shyly.
"Only... if you help me next weekend to decorate my apartment cause I totally forgot about Christmas and have nothing for my apartment".
Tara smirked and kissed y/n deep before whispering "I'll take care of that".
One week passed. It was Friday evening y/n was lying on her couch in black joggers and a hoodie. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
Y/n furrowed her brows and got up. Who could that be. She didn't had invited anyone. As soon as she opened the door she saw Tara, Mindy, Chad and Sam. Holding many shopping bags and boxes in their hands.
"Hello there!" Called out Mindy like y/n always did.
They walked past y/n and got into her apartment.
"Damn we got some work do to here" said Sam. While y/n looked confused after chad, Mindy and Sam. Tara was standing beside y/n with a wide grin.
"I told you I'll take care of that"
Y/n looked shy at Tara "thank you..." she said quite.
There was this spark in Tara's eyes again. She moved closer to y/n and held up suddenly a mistletoe.
Y/n blushed more and felt caught off guard.
Tara kept grinning "your so shy sometimes I love it" she whispered while grabbing y/n by her chin and kissing her deep.
Y/n felt herself melting away in Tara's hands. She felt the warmth of her hands on her face and her soft lips on hers.
She pulled Tara closer and kissed her back
After both stopped kissing, y/n rested her forehead on Tara's and whispered "you feel like home to me you know that right?"
Tara smiled and caressed y/n cheek
"I know..."
Y/n kissed her softly and pulled her arms around Tara "we're family now..."

You just wanted Honeybuns.
You wanted to be in and out of the bodega with your Honeybuns and make it home to watch another episode of your favorite show. You absolutely did not expect to be here, tucked away behind a shelf hoping to God that the shooter won’t find you and blow your brains out.
Just as you’re about to make a beeline for the exit while the killer wasn’t looking, you hear an empty beer can thrown into the aisle you were in which meant you weren’t the only hostage here. You hear the killer’s footsteps move towards your aisle so you quickly and quietly crawl to the next aisle before he could catch you. To your surprise, you’re met with the infamous Carpenter sisters and Sam motions both you and Tara to start crawling towards the exit.
As you’re crawling, Tara accidentally steps on broken glass and makes a sound, causing you, Sam, and the killer to stop in your tracks. The older Carpenter holds a finger up and peeks through the shelves to watch the cloaked figure’s next move. As soon as he turns around, the three of you push the shelf with all your might onto him, quickly running out the door before he could get up. Looking back into the store, the killer was no longer there and all that was left was an open back door and a Ghostface mask.
And that was how you officially met Tara.
You already knew of Tara’s existence when you started your freshman year at Blackmore University. Even with all the rumors you heard about her and her psychotic sister, you always found yourself attracted to the girl. At the frat party, you were about to introduce yourself to her but to your demise, Frankie had already beaten you to it. From where you were sitting, you drank your stale beer while watching everything unfold from Chad and Frankie’s little macho dance to Sam tasing Frankie right in the balls (which you found very impressive and also kind of hot) But you thought it’d be best to keep your distance from Tara and anyone close to her as they were known to be danger magnets.
But clearly, the universe had other ideas for you because you happened to meet Tara face-to-face at the bodega.
The three of you were brought to the police station for questioning. It’s silent between the three of you with the only thing being heard was Tara’s soft breathing and a sigh from Sam.
“Do you go there often? The bodega I mean,” the older girl asks finally breaking the silence. Tara keeps her head down, but listens intently to your conversation with her sister.
“Not really, no. I was just really craving some Honeybuns,” you laugh dryly. “But I didn’t think I’d encounter a fucking Ghostface”
“So I’m guessing you know who we are, considering you know Ghostface”
“Well for the record, I’ve also seen the Stab movies so that’s why I know it. But I do know who you are,” you say almost as if embarrassed to admit the fact.
“I’m Y/N by the way, since you don’t know who I am,” you notice Sam’s eyebrows furrow slightly as you introduce yourself.
“That name sounds familiar.. do we know you by any chance?” She asks, shifting her gaze from the table to you.
“Oh I doubt it, I only came to the city recently for school,” you nervously laugh from the sudden interrogation.
Tara’s head shoots up when Detective Bailey walks in and begins his interrogation. Luckily for them, you were helpful because you were able to check out Tara’s alibi for being at the party and seeing the both of them there (Sam bringing up the tasing incident forced you to hide a smile). But not even 10 minutes in, he was asked to leave the room due to the FBI claiming jurisdiction, leaving the three of you alone yet again. It’s quiet just like when you were first brought in here, but Tara is the one to break the silence this time.
“Wait! Y/N Y/N Y/N, I know where I heard this name,” you nervously chewed on your lip as Tara tried to remember where she heard your name.
“Got it! You’re in my film class, right? You sit all the way in the back and I always notice you when I walk in. I remember peeking down at your notebook as I walked to my seat and I saw your name,” she says proudly as if she’s solved a mystery. You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding, giving her a smile and nodding your head to confirm her statement.
“Okay, well it’s nice that you’re meeting your classmates and making friends but we don’t have time for this. Let’s go,” Sam starts putting on her black bomber jacket before making her way out of the interrogation room. You and Tara get up to follow suit, but before you can make your way out the room, Tara stops you.
“Do you want to grab some lunch sometime? You know, whenever this whole thing will be over?”
You look at her for a moment and take in her features; the way her brown eyes manage to sparkle under the dull white ceiling lights; how a sea of freckles paint over her face so perfectly; and how her lips were plump, red, and so god damn kissable. You knew you shouldn’t get close to her, but every moment you spent staring and glossing over her features, you knew you’d cave into her.
“Guys, come on!” Sam called out from a few feet in front of you. You look back at the younger Carpenter, who was still waiting for a reply.
“Yeah, that’d be nice” you finally manage to say.
The two of you catch up to Sam who finds Detective Bailey talking to someone else but when you realize who it was, you freeze.
“Kirby?” Sam calls out.
“Hey Sam,” the blonde walks over to give Sam a hug and acknowledges Tara. When she finds you standing behind them, her eyes widen and says a quiet “oh my god,” causing the two sisters to look at you.
“Y/N, what are you doing here?”
“You guys know each other?” Detective Bailey asks the four of you, but Sam answers first.
“Yeah. We went to Woodsboro High together. She was a senior when I was a freshman.”
“We share a certain history together, yeah.”
“Wait Kirby, how do you know Y/N?” Tara asks.
Your eyes dart back and forth between the three of them, your palms getting sweatier and your heart racing faster at the sudden attention on you.
Kirby quickly understood and decided to clear the air by offering her help on the case. The girls divert their focus to Kirby and the detective, but not before Sam gives you a questioning look.
And as if seeing Kirby wasn’t bad enough, the three of you happen to meet Gale Weathers right outside the police station. She was looking very eager to cover the story of last night’s events as per usual. You call for a taxi while Sam and Tara talk to Gale, not missing the amazing right hook Tara gives the reporter. They start making their way to the taxi and Gale follows. When the three of them come closer, she catches sight of you and pushes pass the two sisters.
“Jesus Christ, out of all the places you could run off to, I didn’t expect the fucking Big Apple Y/N”
Sam and Tara look at each other, both heavily confused on how you knew Kirby and now Gale.
The reporter approaches you for a hug, to which you don’t reciprocate knowing Sam and Tara were watching. Deep down, you really wanted to hug Gale back but you just couldn’t bring yourself to wrap your arms around her.
“How is she?” you ask as she pulls away.
“I talked to her. She’s worried sick, you know. Are you ever going to go back home?”
“I'm fine here, Gale”
“Well with Ghostface running around here, I don’t think you are anymore. Why don’t you give her a call-”
“I can’t,” you feel the lump in your throat and try your best to fight the tears forming in your eyes. “She’ll never forgive me.”
“Of course she will, Y/N. She’s the only one who will understand what you’re feeling right now.”
The taxi driver honks his horn to get you to hurry up and get in the cab.
“I hope I don’t have to see you around. Take care of yourself,” you squeeze her shoulder and Gale watches you get into the cab together with the Sam and Tara and drive off.
Later that day, Tara invites you to meet the rest of her friend group which includes the Meeks-Martin twins, Ethan, Quinn, and Mindy’s girlfriend Anika. The eight of you sat together on campus as Mindy goes on a ramble about the new rules of a franchise and listing out her potential suspects. Naturally, you were on her top three along with Ethan and Quinn since you just met the friend group, so you couldn’t be mad at the accusation. And as if perfectly timed, your phone started to ring which startled everyone. The number was coming from an unknown number so you decline it, knowing better than to answer it. When asked who it was, you lied and said it was just your roommate. But you get a text from the same number:
ANSWER THE PHONE, BITCH.
The phone rings again and you excuse yourself from the group meeting to answer the call alone, earning you odd looks from everyone.
“Hello?”
“Hello, Y/N. It’s exciting to finally be doing this with you,” the voice was all too familiar. You look back at the group and they’re all staring at you, watching your every move. You weren’t exactly doing a very good job at trying to defend yourself from being a suspect.
“Who is this?” you say through gritted teeth.
“You think just because you ran away from home, you won’t be a part of this? It’s inevitable, Y/N. It’s who you are.”
“I’m not the daughter of a serial killer fuckface, I don’t count!”
“Oh but that’s where you’re wrong. Are you forgetting who your mother is, Y/N?”
“Please, just leave me alone,” you beg with tears in your eyes.
“Your secret will be out soon. And when that happens, I can’t wait to be the one who will gut you like a fish in front of everyone.”
“How fucking original. Come up with a new catchphrase next time, you bitch!” you sneer as you end the call. You run a hand through your hair, trying not to let the tears spill out of frustration. Suddenly, a hand grabs your shoulder and you jump at the feeling but when you turn around, a small girl is standing in front of you.
“Woah hey, it’s just me. Are you okay?” Tara asks, genuine concern laced in her voice. Your tense body now relaxes at the sight of her, her presence washing away every bit of fear and anger that was in you. It’s already hard for her to trust you and you can’t blame her for that, so you decide not to keep any more secrets from her.
“He called. Said he can’t wait to gut me like a fish.” Tara shakes her head.
“That’s it, you’re staying with us tonight.”
“Wait, what? Just like that?”
“You’re in danger, Y/N. We have to protect you, we’re the reason you’re in this mess in the first place.”
“Okay first of all, you know you shouldn’t trust anyone, that’s like the biggest fucking rule in this whole franchise shit. Second, you are not the reason that he’s after me, you don’t- we don’t know why he’s after me. And third, I don’t think Sam will be too keen on the idea of me staying with you guys.”
“I’ll convince her. I don’t want anything to happen to you, Y/N.”
You take a moment to look at her again. There’s a genuine and sincere look in her eyes, and for a moment, you forget that you’re all wanted targets about to be murdered. For a moment, it just feels like you two are normal university students who want to fall in love with each other
“See, this is why I want to trust you,” you’re broken out of your trance when the younger Carpenter speaks. She notices your eyebrows furrow in confusion and giggles at the sight.
“You look at me and get lost into my eyes, like you’re looking pass all the crazy shit we’re going through right now. You look at me like you want to fall in love but you’re afraid to,” your eyes widen at how she managed to voice out your thoughts. “And I know I’ve been through a lot, I know I shouldn’t openly trust anyone anymore but for some weird fucking reason, I feel safe and comfortable around you. And maybe this will bite me in the ass later on, maybe you’re just a really good fucking actress and I’m gonna regret everything when you start slicing me up, but I really hope it doesn’t have to end up that way.”
You look into her eyes once more and you prove her statement in that very moment. In the little time you’ve spent with her, you found yourself falling for the girl. You always thought your life was fucked when you learned who your mother was, but now you don’t think it’s all that bad. If it wasn’t for your name and the bloodline you came from, you wouldn’t have been led to Tara Carpenter.
You held your pinky finger up to the girl and now it’s Tara’s turn to look confused. “Normal serial killers usually would verbally make promises or swear that they won’t do anything. But pinky promises are very serious, to me at least. I know it’ll be hard to fully trust me, so this is me assuring you that things won’t end up that way in the best way I know how.” It’s pathetic now that you think of it, offering a pinky promise not to kill the girl. But Tara laughs and links pinkies with you anyway.
“Break this promise and I’ll make sure Sam breaks every bone in your body.”

Dick Grayson x Male!reader dating headcanons
Tumblr media
*Yoshi Sudarso used as a fancast*
● you had known Dick since you were kids
● your father was a work friend of Bruce's so when Bruce adopted Dick he introduced you hoping that having a friend his age would help Dick adjust to his new life
● little did he know that the two of you would grow up and fall in love
● you started dating when you were 16
● found out about his secret identity at 19
● and moved in together at 21
● him coming home all beat up
● he taught you how to give him stitches when he's in too much pain to do it himself
● and he taught you how to defend yourself after you got mugged
● "you're getting pretty good at this," he says as you have him pinned to the training mat
● "watch out Dick, Gotham may have a new vigilante on its hands"
● "don't get ahead of yourself babe it takes more than a few self defense moves to be a vigilante"
● "Guess I'll just enjoy this view of you being underneath me instead"
● you were ecstatic when he brought Haley home
● "Y/N may I present to you the newest member of our family"
● "Oh my god Dick she's adorable what's her name?"
● "what do you think about the name Haley"
● "I love it, welcome home Haley"
● you absolutely spoil her rotten
● sneaking her people food when Dick isn't looking
● he pretends not to notice because he's happy that you love her as much as he does
● Haley loves when Barbara comes over to hang out cause she gets twice as many treats and cuddles
● going for long walks with Dick and Haley
● not being surprised anymore when he has to run off because he hears a crime happening down the street
● "I'll see you and Haley back at home! If I'm not too late I'll bring home sandwiches from the bodega!"
● Dick coming to your work to have lunch together
● "you were out all night aren't you tired?"
● "extremely but I promised you we'd have lunch today and I always keep my promises"
● Dick is the person that falls asleep the moment you put a movie on
● and when he wakes up he googles the highlights so he can pretend like he watched it
● "So what did you think?"
● "Oh yeah I loved it," slyly looking down at his phone, "especially the part where *insert random scene description here*"
● Tim went to Dick first for advice on how to ask out Bernad on a date
● "well how did you ask Y/N?"
● "I didn't, he asked me out"
● "you're no help where is Y/N he'll know what to do"
● you end up going on a double date with them so Tim is less nervous
● it goes great so double dates become a regular thing
● you don't see Jason as often, he just kind of shows up at your apartment sometimes
● "Jason what are you doing here?"
● "it's been a while and I was in the neighborhood so I thought I'd stop by"
● "you just want me to cook you dinner don't you"
● "Hey… I'm also here for Haley"
● and he usually has some kind of wound he hasn't properly cleaned up so he gets blood all over your furniture
● "Dick, please tell your brother to try and keep the bleeding to a minimum next time, I have to do enough bloody laundry for you as it is"
● one time Nightwing saved you from a killer croc attack at your work
● "thanks for the rescue Nightwing"
● "you're very welcome handsome stranger, maybe I'll have the pleasure of saving you again sometime"
● your co worker comes up to you when Nightwing leaves "dude nightwing was totally just flirting with you"
● "you think so? I wonder what it's like to date a superhero" you say with a sly smile

#🏹: main 4 — when their depressed gf is skipping school
Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis/concept: the main 4 with a really depressed gf skipping school
content warnings: mentions of depression, im not sure what else?
author's note: if this also flops.. istg
Tumblr media
kyle broflovski
although he thought he had done something at first, kyle is really observant, so he quickly noticed when you were falling into a depressive state. he first grew suspicious when you started avoiding him, making excuses to stay inside, and seemed quieter. i feel like as soon as he started connecting the dots, he just googled what to do
i don't think he would be really sure what to do at first, so he chose to just give you some space as to not bother you.
he would show he cared by doing you small favors and services
he would feel bad pushing you or forcing you to do anything, so he still tried to give you some degree of space or independence
eventually, when you stopped coming to school, he would make excuses for you to the teacher and defend you to people when they were calling you lazy or saying you dropped out
and he would bring over leftover food and even bring stuff over to cook you fresh meals if he noticed you weren't eating or cooking.
usually, he would stay to make sure you ate, and every few days, he would clean up for you too. he would throw away the rotten food in your fridge, do the dishes or laundry, etc
sometimes he would run baths for you and wash your hair for you, and help you with small tasks
even when you were ashamed of him seeing you in such a horrible state, he would comfort you and assure you, saying that he doesn't mind caring for you and helping for you.
some days he just comes over to lay with you in silence
Tumblr media
stan marsh
stan would have a pretty similar approach to kyle, but it would have a clearer goal and it would be a little more practical, and he would spend entire nights doing research
i feel like stan's actions would be more thought-out, and he would bring you things and encourage you to try things he thought might make you feel better.
like, sometimes he would bring you vitamins or medications he researched about
and he would encourage you to go outside and take walks or go to the bodega with him, because he read that regularly going outside reduces stress or anxiety
like kyle, he would cook for you and do things you didn't feel like doing
he also didn't want you to fall behind in school just because you weren't feeling good, so he would literally like learn your handwriting and do your work for you or some shit
he would verbally comfort you a ton and assure you that things are going to get better, encouraging you to see a doctor and get help.
he insists you visit a therapist, and try medication a ton because he just wanted you to feel better
tbh i think he would read to you sometimes too. he'd find books he thinks you'll enjoy and bring them over to entertain you
Tumblr media
eric cartman
i don't think cartman would know what to do, like at all, and he would probably be a little bit uneasy because he doesn't want to upset you and doesn't entirely get it
initially, to ease his discomfort, he would make jokes about it, calling you lazy, or asking what was wrong with you, but he soon understood it made you feel bad and stopped
eventually, i think he'd sort of understand how bad you were feeling, and would beg his mom to cook for you and would bring you food, like kyle
he always came to visit you after school, just to provide you with some company to let you know he cared, and he didn't want you to be lonely
you're like his best friend too, so he doesn't like going long periods without talking to you or seeing you.
he brings over movies for you to watch together to take your mind of things, and lets you cuddle with him to comfort you
or he would bring games and play them with you or let you watch him play as he talks to fill the silence
even if you didn't want to say anything yourself, he would just ramble about his day and rant to you about all the crazy stuff the teachers are assigning or how annoying some of his classmates are. sometimes he would give you little updates on your friends, and tell you all the drama
he would sometimes bring over kitty and let you borrow her for a few nights, since he thinks it would make you feel better
Tumblr media
kenny mccormick
kenny is probably a really good listener, so after he realizes you're not feeling well, he just straight up asks you what's wrong and lets you vent to him for hours while he holds you
sometimes if you start crying to him, he would even skip school with you for a few days, and spend a few nights with you until you forced him to go back
he's poor so he can't really afford to bring you any food or fancy vitamins like stan, but he tells you about stuff and gives you suggestions sometimes, and still encourages you to go outside, and drink water
he feels bad he can't buy you stuff, so instead he just cleans up for you and does your chores
although he doesn't talk much, he would let you know how much he cares about you and how much he loves you almost daily
he knows you're kind of embarrassed about your state sometimes so he makes sure to pepper you with compliments and tells you how you still look pretty even at a low point and shit
sometimes he would bring karen to visit with him because he knows you like her, and convinces you to get out of bed to play with her a bit
he'll steal classwork and homework answers from stan or kyle and bring them for you to copy, because he doesn't want you to start failing your classes

 Well, Blow it Off.
Ethan Landry x Original Male Character Originally posted on Archive of Our Own
THIS CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS FOR SCREAIVI SO AVOID AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Tumblr media
WEDNESDAY | 7:26 PM | NEW YORK CITY
Quinn and Riley have been friends since 11th grade; however, keeping up with her was physically impossible, and her being 'sex positive' didn't help it at all, but she was his friend. Nonetheless, he still loved her like a sister. Once she moved in with Sam, Riley rarely saw her only in film class, but that was it, so here he is walking alone on a Wednesday Night, a bit weary because of what happened to Ms. Crane; I mean, just last week both of you were talking to her about how terrible the 'STAB' movies are, I mean come on Riley couldn't get past the first one without making Quinn want to choke him.
DING DING DING...
'QUINN'
ACCEPT DECLINE
"Hey, I'm almost there," you said, looking behind you and constantly ensuring someone wasn't following him while a frown crept as your thought of Ms. Crane.
"Okay, well, can you hurry? She's driving me crazy, y'know?" Quinn snapped back, and by her tone, you could tell she was annoyed.
"With who?" you ask curiously.
"Who do you think?" Quinn snaps back quickly.
"Ah... Is it Sam?" his pace stops as you look around.
"Yea, I know she's my roommate, but she can be a little overbearing," she says calmly.
"Anyways... have you talked to Ethan today? You started questioning your boyfriend. I've been calling him; however, he isn't answering his damn cell, which is odd."
"I heard he had some study group, Anika saw him, but that was it. Well, she's in the living room with Mindy and all, but yeah." your best friend said on the other line, which is weird.
"Okay, off-topic totally, but I'm heading to the mall tomorrow after class; you should come; I mean, I don't have my license, but your daddy's a police officer, so I think he'll let me off with a warning," you say to Quinn while looking at a Bodega.
"I mean, maybe, but-" he interrupts Quinn. "Oh, Hold on, another call," However, Quinn tells you to blow it off. "Hello?"
"Hello." the unknown caller responds.
"Listen, I hate to be blunt, but I think you got the wrong number," you said with venom as your eyebrow raised.
"What's your favorite scary movie?" the caller asks.
"I don't watch them, a bunch of shit anyways. I'm more of a comedy or thriller type of person," he tells the voice on the other end. "Listen, bud; I gotta run, so bye." you hang up on him; weird, right? You need help remembering the plot of that movie. It probably was nothing, and honestly, I haven't seen any Horror movies since 'STAB'; however, that was years ago.
"Who was it?" Quinn asks curiously.
"Don't know, some weirdo asking me what Horror movie I liked," you respond to her. "Well, anyways, I'm at the front door. Can you buzz me in?" you tell Quinn.
WEDNESDAY | 7:48 PM | QUINN'S APARTMENT
"Hey, Riley. Anika chirps happily to see you.
"What are we watching?" he asks curiously, wanting to know.
Anika pauses for a minute, trying to think of the movie before Mindy, sitting at the dining table, says, 'SAW 3.' Anika turns to him and nods.
"Ugh, I hate those movies. It's not scary. It's just gross; I hate the torture porn shit." you say to Mindy, with your back facing the TV.
Quinn starts groaning from her bedroom, and you roll his eyes and look at Anika. "Guess she's with her 'boyfriend' again." but the groans start to get a little violent, and bangs from her room.
Worried, You get up. "Quinn...? you okay...?" he says while Mindy tells him to return to the couch, but you approach the door. "Quinn?"
Quinn's body shot out of her room, landing on top of you, staining your neon green cardigan; confusion. plasters your face before Sam pulls Quinn off your body. You panic and try to get up with Anika and Mindy trying to pull you up; however, Mindy gets slashed in the arm, and Ghostface kicks you in the nose with his boot causing blood to spill all over his white pants; he grasps your neck with both hands and begins to choke you.
Anika tries to shove Ghostface off of him. However, he turns and stabs her in the stomach before pushing her into the fireplace. He feels lightheaded before Sam slams a knife block against the attacker's face. Anika and Mindy run through the front door while Sam and I flee to Quinn's bedroom and push her dresser before her door, knocking on her framed photos on the floor.
"Hey!" A man from the next apartment screams at Sam. "Don't worry; I got you." he tries to hand Sam a ladder.
"Are you crazy?" Sam replies with disbelief on her face.
"You got any other ideas?" he replies, staring her down.
"No." Sam takes the Ladder and places it on the window seal. Sam crawls through the window and tries to cross.
"Sam, Hurry!" You say to her as his bleeding nose stains his clothes while Ghostface tries to kick down Quinn's bedroom door.
Climbing up onto the window seal, "shit..." he mumbles as his bloody hands grab the Ladder and try to move my legs; looking up at Sam, my face scrunched up.
"Guys, I can't," you yell, tears brimming his eyes. However, Ghostface breaks down the door, and you quickly crawl onto the Ladder.
"BEHIND YOU!" Sam screams at him as she tries to crawl out the window frantically; she waves her hands, gesturing in a come-on motion.
You look behind him, scream, and crawl across the Ladder quicker, but Ghostface grabs the Ladder and tries to shake you off.
"Riley, give me your hand!" Sam screams and grabs Riley's hand as the Ladder falls below
CLANK
The Ladder makes a noise as it hits a dumpster below, You try to hold onto Sam's hands, but his blood-covered hands make it more challenging the neighbor pulls on his cardigan, pulling him into the apartment.
THURSDAY| 10:03 PM | NEW YORK CITY
"Anika went to the hospital and said she's alright, but the stab wound was deep, so Mindy's with her." you overhear Sam saying to Tara; you can't say you're unhappy. Anika is a close friend; she tried to help you when Ghostface strangled you for a good minute. Ethan showed up; he's your boyfriend, but you suspected him and asked him where he was.
You felt terrible within seconds for suggesting that Ethan was a murderer and had also attempted to kill you after he told you what seemed to be the truth. He presented you with a solid alibi, and you regretted your assumptions in seconds.
"I thought we were close? I mean, we are dating." Ethan says as he crouches down to you.
You believed Ethan was right about those things. He hugs you, and you apologize; Ethan pulls you in for a kiss.

so could u make a danny (scream6) x shy male reader who lives in the apartment with sam and everyone and he meets danny for the first time and it's all fluff but a lil angsty and sad cuz reader's insecure and he selfharms?
Welcome to New York
Danny Brackett x Male Reader.
I forgot you asked for a shy reader so a lot of it might not include that😭 I did go back and change it up to meet your request but idk if its enough. Hope you enjoy it either way!
(Bold text means its text messages!!)
TW: self-harm
(I also don't know if Danny is Spanish or anything in the movie. I know his actor is Puerto Rican so i just went with that so there is a few Spanish words in here, i have the English beside them in brackets. The words in brackets are not apart of the story, just there for people to understand!!)
Tumblr media
You sat at the table that lay beside the living room of the apartment. Tara had gone to attend her college classes with her new roommate Quinn. This left you and Sam the only one's in the apartment.
You three had moved to New York along with Chad and Mindy after the ghostface attack you all experienced in Woodsboro. The attack had left not only a mental scar, but many physical scars on you. Some by the two killers, Richie and Amber, but also yourself. You found pain was the only way to get the thoughts of what happened out of your head. It wasn't ideal, as now you only wear long sleeved shirts and jumpers, but it helps and you don't really enjoy alcohol to go down that route.
Sam entered the kitchen, taking your phone out of your hand. "You need to get out more." she sits in front of you.
"I do go out" You said, folding your arms over your chest.
"Yeah for your job. I mean going out to meet new people." Sam leaned over the table. She was worried about you. You could tell. She always was. Especially after what happened in Woodsboro.
"I know I do, but it's not that easy for me. I can't interact with people how you and Tara do. I can't just talk to people normally." You explained to her. You removed your arms from their previous position and began playing with the bracket that sat on your arm.
"I understand, you've always been like that, but you gotta break out of that shell." Sam reached over grabbing your hand.
"I'll try." you looked up at her, smiling. "I promise"
She smiled back, getting up and going towards the kitchen. "Actually, do you think you could go down to the store, we're out of milk." She said looking in the fridge.
You rolled your eyes, laughing to yourself "Sure."
You grabbed your coat and wallet and said bye to Sam as you began to walk down to the lobby. You went to the local bodega, grabbing the milk and some snacks for later. You walked back into the apartment complex, eyes glued to your phone. You were so distracted you didn't notice the man who stood in front of you.
He had turned around to go walk somewhere when he bumped into you, knocking the snacks out of your hand.
"Oh Mierda(shit) , I'm so sorry, let me help you with that." The man crouched down, picking up the items you had dropped.
"It's fine, no need to apologise. It's my fault I was on my phone, I should've paid more attention" You said, awkwardly putting your phone into your pocket.
The man stood back up handing you your items. "I don't remember seeing you here?". He looked at you with a confused expression. "Did you just move here?"
You looked at the man. He was gorgeous. You froze for a moment, not knowing what to say. "Oh, yeah. I just moved here with my friends actually." You laughed after the sentence.
"Oh you're the people who moved in opposite me. I was hoping to run into you guys, if you all need help getting to know the place, you could always come ask me."
You smiled. "Thanks. It means a lot. I'll be sure to let the others know."
"Well once you do, tell them Danny sent ya" He put his hand out, clearly going in for a handshake.
You panicked, putting out the wrong hand to shake his with. "Y/N"
"Y/N… that's a nice name, definitely one I can remember, especially with it going with such a cute face." He said, smirking at you. He took a pen from his pocket. He grabs your arm and writes his number on your hand. "Call me if you guys need any help or for anything else." He says his goodbyes and walks out the lobby door.
You muttered a thanks, staring at your hand. Did he just flirt with you? He was probably being friendly, but you slightly hoped he wasn't. You began to walk back up to the apartment, thinking about the interaction you just had.
You announced your entrance to Sam as you walked in. "What took so long?" Sam turned around from the sink, watching as you put the products onto the kitchen counter.
"I bumped into some guy on the way up." You said, placing all the items away.
"Oh? You finally interacted with someone? And it's a guy? Was he cute?." Sam turned back to the dishes, laughing at her small joke.
"Oh my god Sam can you not." You said, a blush growing over your face. "And yes he was, he actually said I was cute." you added.
"WHAT?" Sam stopped cleaning the dishes, drying her hands and dragging you to the couch, sitting you down. "Please tell me you got his number or even his name."
"I got both actually. He told me that he lived across from us, and can help us if we need it."
"That's amazing, oh my god. Are you going to call him?"
You sat there for a moment. "No way. He gave me his number for help." you shook your head.
"Oh come on" Sam's expression changed to a slightly annoyed one. "No way a guy calls someone cute and gives them his number just for help." She raised her hands on the last word, mimicking quotation marks with her fingers.
"I don't know. I don't wanna come off weird."
"Trust me,you probably won't. How about we make plans tonight. Tara and Quinn aren't home. We should have a movie night and invite your cute guy." She got up and went to the kitchen, heading for the cupboard that held the popcorn packets. "We can call it a greating party or something." She looked over at you.
You couldn't say no, Sam has always been there for you and she looked too happy to say no. "Fine." Sam jumped in joy at your response. You took out your phone, typing Danny's number into it. You began to type a message.
"Hey me and Sam are having a movie night, and she thought it would be a cool idea if you would want to join us. As a greeting party. :)"
You threw your phone on the couch anxious to wait for a response. It took only five minutes for him to respond. You sat there for a second scared to open the phone. You pick up your phone and check the notification
"Hello. I'm guessing this is the cute guy who just moved here?"
You sat there, realising how dumb you were to not state who was messaging.
"Fuck, yeah sorry forgot to say that."
You wanted to die, you were so embarrassed.
"It's all good, no need to worry. Tell your friend I'd love to come over."
You smiled at the message, shouting out to Sam about Danny's attendance.
"Perfect, you can come over at around half past, that's when we're starting the movie!"
"Asombroso(amazing). I can't wait"
He spoke Spanish? You noticed yourself smiling at the message. You should have been able to tell from his accent. You thought to yourself about how hot he probably sounded speaking it.
Sam handed you bowls and the snacks you had bought. "Here. Fill these up with these and put them on the table." You groaned, grabbing the bowls and began filling them up.
"What movie are we going to watch?" You walked towards the bin, placing the empty packaging into them.
"I'm not sure, I remember you saying you liked the Halloween series. Maybe one of those?" She looked over at you. "It is almost Halloween anyways so it'd fit the mood." You nodded in agreement, going back to the couch to sit down.
Twenty minutes had passed before you two heard the doorbell ring. Sam turned to face you "Ohhh cute guy has arrived." She got up heading towards the door. She opened it to see Danny standing in front of it, holding a pack of beers.
"You must be Sam?" He held out his hand. "I'm Danny. It's great to meet you." Sam shook his hand, providing him with a smile.
"It's nice to meet you too, I have heard a few things about you so far." She began to walk in, giving Y/N a sarcastic look.
"Oh really?" He gave you a look. You felt your heart skip a beat. He placed the drinks onto the table "I hope they were all nice things." He said sitting down in the free space beside you.
You laughed at his comment. His leg brushed against yours and you felt your face heat up. His arm rested on the back of the couch. Sam sat down beside you elbowing your shoulder before grabbing the remote and turning on the movie.
You all sat there in silence, enjoying the movie. Sam's jumps in fear at any slight jumpscare being the only interruption throughout the movie. "I've never seen that one before." Danny said when the movie ended. "I liked it" he added
"It's one of Y/N's favourites, he wouldn't shut up about it when we lived in Woodsboro." Sam said, picking up the empty bowls and bringing them to the kitchen.
"Oh really? Well I know who to go to if i need movie recommendations." he turned to you.
"Ask me for movie recommendations and we'll be here all night" You said laughing.
He laughed back. His laugh was cute. "I'm not complaining."
Before you could respond you heard Sam shout out to you. "By the way Y/N, it's your turn to clean the dishes. I cleaned them earlier." You excused yourself from Danny. Rolling your eyes.
"I'll help" Danny said walking over. He joined you at the sink, grabbing a towel. "I'll dry and you wash" he suggested.
"Ok cool" You said as you went to begin to clean them.
Danny grabbed your arm. "Are you seriously about to wash the dishes without rolling up your sleeves?" Danny looked at you with a friendly smile.
"Oh um yeah, I don't really mind if they get wet." You looked over at Sam. She gave you a worried look. She knew you self harmed, and helped you through it when things got really bad. You gave her a reassuring look back. She nodded and headed towards the bathroom.
"Oh come on, you don't wanna ruin your hoodie." Danny grabbed your arm, pulling the sleeve up. He looked at it, seeing the scars you had left. Some looked fresh, others looked older. He stood there for a moment. "Lo lamento(I'm sorry) , I didn't mean to." He looked worried. He was scared he made you uncomfortable.
"No, it's um, it's fine, don't worry." You pulled your sleeve back down. "You didn't know" You smiled at him.
"Do you want to talk about it?'' He put his hand on your back. "I'm all ears." You turned to face him. He looked worried.
"It's nothing, don't worry, I just do it sometimes to take my mind off of things" You said, shrugging.
"What things?" He became more curious.
"Just past events. The main reason we all moved here is because of something that happened back in Woodsboro and I guess the events just affected me too much. I always think about what happened too much and it affects me, so I do this to get it out of my head."
"Oh, what happened?"
"There was an attack. A lot of Sam's sister's friends died, I had been stabbed and shot in the shoulder by one of the attackers. I don't know why but after that I've always been worried, and anxious." You felt Danny place his hand on your shoulder.
"I'm so sorry that happened to you guys." He pulled you into a hug.
"It's fine" You replied, resting your chin on his shoulder. He was slightly taller than you so you had to lean up a bit.
He pulled away. "How about if you ever get thoughts like that you call or text me right away." You nodded. "Don't want a cutie like you worrying over something that can be helped with talking." he added
You laughed at his comment. "Thanks. That's like the third time you called me cute." You pointed out.
"It's because you are. You're espléndido(gorgeous)." He did sound hot when speaking Spanish. Although you didn't understand what he said and Danny must've picked up on that. He laughed at your confused look. "I meant your gorgeous."
"If I'm gorgeous then what does that make you?" You cringed at what you just said. Flirting definitely wasn't your best attribute.
"Hopefully it makes me yours." Fuck. He was good at this. You stood there not sure what to say. You didn't want to sound like an idiot. You noticed him looking at your lips.
You smirked, before leaning in. You prayed that he doesn't pull away and make a fool out of you. Thankfully he doesn't, he places a hand on your cheek, pulling you in closer. Your lips meet and it feels like pure heaven. He placed his other hand on your other cheek and you placed yours onto his chest.
Your kiss was cut short when Sam walked back into the room. "Oh shit I'm Sorry" She covered her face with her hand. You both turned to see her standing there.
"You're all good, I was just about to leave anyway." He turns back to you. "We'll talk later. Adiós hermoso" Giving a smile before walking out the door.
Sam gave you a supportive look. Shaking your hair as you walk by her, you head towards your bedroom. You were smiling like crazy. You couldn't believe what just happened. You looked down at your phone seeing a message from Danny.
"Goodnight ;)"

Sick days with Jas when the reader isn't doing well or feeling 100% either mentally or physically. Is he a good care giver?
jason is totally a good care giver but i think to an annoying extent. like y’all got together during winter so maybe the first time you’re sick is pretty early on in your relationship so you don’t tell him, you don’t want him to feel like he HAS to do anything for you. you just tell him you’re busy with a project for work. but he’s the cutest ever so he comes to drop off dinner at your place, wanting to make sure you eat while you’re busy, but then you open the door and. you know when you’re sick in a way you can see it? like all the color from your face is gone and you just look exhausted? yeah, that’s what he sees when you open the door.
so every time since then that you’re sick, he’s so attentive, it honestly gets on your nerves. but it’s cute, him and the kids will bring you soup in bed and then they’ll snuggle you while watching movies. but jason’s just kinda like “do you need a new gatorade? do you want to take a bath? should i take the kids to the park so you can have some alone time?” and you appreciate all that he’s offering except you’re feeling so shitty that all you want is him. so you’re kinda like “you either stop talking and get in bed to hold me, or you go a million feet away from me. you get no other options.”
when you’re pregnant?? oh my god, the first trimester is fucking hell on earth just from the morning sickness alone. jason is always there, he’s up with you in the middle of the night, he’s holding your hair back, he’s running to the bodega for your cravings. but your hormones are a little wild because duh so sometimes he’s just so caring that you snap at him. “i’m fucking fine, god i’m having a child, i’m not the fucking child.” jason’s face kinda drops and he backs up, and you just lose it, absolutely sobbing “i’m sorry, i didn’t mean it. i love you, please don’t leave, i love you so much, i’m so sorry jas.” he just wraps you up in his arms and holds you close, tell you that it’s okay, that life is a lot right now and sometimes we say things we dont mean.
that man is always there for you and he plans on being there for the rest of his life.

"Fuck this Franchise!"

Scream VI (2023)
Director: Matt Bettinelli-Olpin
Run time: 2 hours and 2 minutes
SPOILER WARNING!!!
The Scream movies and Ghostface are iconic within the scene of horror, there is a lot of pressure on the movies that follow the first one. But Scream VI does a fair job within the franchise.
This movie was bloody.
It truly did a great job in depicting graphic murders and suspense. The use of the urban setting can also be applauded. I mean how can someone openly stab another person on the subway and not be noticed. Or having an open knife/gun fight in a bodega. The public element of this movie really helped in pushing the suspense of the slasher scenes. This film was very effective as a whodunit film, however it was predictable. It tended to use that predictability against the audience, giving us waves of doubt. Overall, it was a very well done film and did not lose any touch to the original Scream movie. It gets a 7/10 from me.

Horror Movies I Just Watched: Mar 2023
Another short list this month:
Planet Terror: If these aren’t the grossest zombies I have ever seen, they’re the grossest I’ve seen in a long while.
Once again, the fictional end of the world is caused by the US military dabbling in something without any proper precaution. Didn’t really care for the running gag with the mad scientist being castration obsessed. Not sure if that’s bro-humor or homophobia. Bruce Willis’s cameo as technically the main villain was kinda funny. if only for how they enjoyed making it obvious how detached he was from the rest of the cast. And of course, Tarantino shows up just to die, but not before deserving every nasty bit of it. Really surreal they’re part of a stolen plot point from 28 Days Later of all things. If you’ve seen it, you probably know the one.
The rest of the cast work well enough. Marley Shelton’s doctor remains likable even as she goes off the deep end and her eye shadow runs (wait, did I say even? I meant especially), while Josh Brolin seems to channel his Thanos performance ten years earlier and even creepier. And what happens to their kid; child death in horror movies can be a stand out moment whenever it shows up if not handled recklessly. This isn’t reckless, but it certainly seals the deal on what kind of movie this is with it’s dose of dark comedy.
I know Rose McGowan’s gun leg is THE image of the movie, but I’ve been used to seeing it even before watching the movie, I was more affected by everything else.
I should’ve know just how bloody all this was really going to get the second Tom Savini showed up. Then again, with him here and Rodriguez directing, calling this movie From Dusk Til Dawn’s grimier dumber brother seems appropriate. That reminds me, I need to rewatch that in the near future.
Scream VI: *SPOILERS!*
I felt like the previous one took a few more risks than this one, but I actually enjoyed this one more.
A part of me DID watch to relish the New York setting here, but Ghostface was always the type to be in costume when he’s in your house rather then around any sort of landmark. He would’ve been caught almost immediately.
Yes, the opening is a great first for the franchise. In hindsight, paired with the reveal of our actual killers, it felt like a callback to Mrs. Loomis betraying Mickey back in Scream II. Personal revenge taking priority over insipid fame-seeking meta commentary.
Speaking of our actual main killers, Is this the first one since III where the motives are actually personal? And the first since II it’s someone taking revenge for family? It helps that there being THREE of them and they’re family kinda gives it a Texas Chainsaw vibe for me. And pretty cool that the climax is a literal blood feud between two families. (Though I’m confused, are the Villains the Bailey’s or the Kirsh’s?)
Although that ends up being part of what I mean about there being less risks. With three killers, that means even less victims that aren’t just essentially extras which was about half the deaths this time (The bodega people plus Gale’s new companion), so the only new person who was expendable ‘til then was Anika. As for the core four, they’re actually less expendable now then the previous four have been (Randy died in only his second appearance and Dewey...) . Chad couldn’t really die no matter how many stabs because he’s new final boy Himbo. It wouldn’t been way too mean to kill Mindy, the black queer member, especially right after killing her girlfriend right in front of her. We literally just got Kirby back. The internet might’ve explode if it was definitive this time. Sam’s the new main character, who also makes a more compelling case of sticking around this time, (and hoping Scream vii doesn’t spin it’s wheels on her). Tara might be the strongest case, especially with how Jenna Ortega’s fame is skyrocketing so she could get too busy for more of these. But yeah, combining that with her sub plot of pseudo self destruction might not have paired well. I almost felt Gale was saved in reshoots, people repeating she was in a coma. I get it, but man, she would’ve went out strong.
I guess, pay disputes with Neve Campbell aside, maybe it is time for some legacy characters to step back for now. Just do something to have less characters with plot armor.
Okay, Let me end this section on a positive note. One of my favorite bits was actually in the opening. Tony Revolori’s character becoming a killer AND getting killed because he doesn’t understand Giallo films was rather amusing to me, but I guess only because I know enough about horror movies to at least know what a Giallo is. Up to that, can we just say that was the actual big intentional gag of this whole franchise, am I right? All the characters talk about scary movies and most of the villains are trying to create a real life scary movie. Though the movies they’re referencing and trying to copy are Slashers films, the plots of the Scream movies always felt like they had more in common with Giallos, like the ones made by Bava and Argento decades before slashers. Slashers don’t have human, vulnerable schemers all that often, but Giallo do. The invincible killer that gets away with everything until the next killing spree were around in 70s horror movies (Michael, Billy, Leatherface, etc.), but they didn’t start being considered cool until Jason showed up a movie late in 1981. The eighties. A decade where psychopathic straight men seem to run everything. But we’re not in the eighties anymore, and as much as we can learn from it, we also need to leave it behind. Even though too many people prove to not get the memo, the joke is still on them at the end. Six times now in this case.
It’s crazy how the first and second time Ghostface was actually cheer worthy are in this movie, at the very beginning and the very end (Unless III had some moments, it’s been a while). While the end is gratifying with Sam weaponizing her own horrific family legacy against those who’s chickens have come home to roost, a slight evolution on Richie’s fate from the previous movie. I’ll still remember this entitled, pretentious asswipe getting done in by someone actually trained and experienced in killing (either the cop father of one of the kids he’s trained) beating him at his own game before he even got started, with a pre mortem one liner that would seem contradictory, but fits in how when you’re on the receiving end of the knife “Who give a f--- about movies?!”
Inferno (1980) Speaking of NYC-set horror films and Argento. This is a loose sequel to the original Suspiria. While it’s been a long time since I saw that one, I think I liked it more then this one. Suzy came into the plot because of a personal pursuit then got curious about the weird and horrific events around her. Mark in this movie, cared the least about who the Mother of Shadows is, yet he’s the sole survivor. Was that commentary about leaving well enough alone on such things? Usually you don’t punish any characters for trying to be smart in a horror movie unless movie is made before 1960.
At least the kills were up to snuff. Failed decapitation by window and getting chewed on by rats before getting stabbed by a possessed(?) food cart vendor were highlights. Really hated how the guy drowns some cats before doing it. What was even the point of that? Not like Tenebrarum had any pet cats.
Skeleton costume at the end was cute though. Not even going to bother with the third trilogy in this sorta Trilogy. I heard it was even worse.
I’m likely going to have a longer list of movies to talk about next month. Until then...

How much do you think Ms. Scozzari actually feels love for you? Realistically. Since you did, after all, begin as a gutter child brought to her by her husband.
Tumblr media
The question catches him off guard. It's not the type of thing he'd expect from a quick trip outside. He's running to the the corner bodega for a chopped cheese and fries not to have his entire existence questioned but now here he was. Looked down on and belittled. Should he be surprised? Yeah, probably not. Was he? Only a little because it's so random. He supposed he's gotten too comfortable, the love his adoptive parents had for him was something he had only stopped wondering about a few years ago. It had been hard for them all in the beginning. He's a gutter rat, abandoned on the doorstep of a fire station and put into the system until the system let a man play hero but instead he found himself cornered and told he had _such a pretty mouth_. One torn rotator cuff and a broken soul later, he ran as far and hard as he could. No ever came looking. Except Sal. Billy had always had a thing for stray cats. It's only until he's picked up off the street like one he finally gets why. Because he had something in common with them. He's a stray cat. Timid and scared, ready to claw the face off of the next person who looks at them funny but so lonely and touch starved that maybe.. Keeping the claws sheathed would ensure a hot meal and a hug. He got a family instead. So yeah. He knows how much Eve Scozzari loves him. She shows him everyday with the little things. His favorite snacks in the cabinets, his favorite soft drink in the fridge, the books she leaves on his bed, the movies she takes him to see, the way she ruffles his hair and tells him she knows he's hers because where else he got that mess of curls. He doesn't give any of that away though. Those memories, those moments, were his and hers, no outsider trying to tear him down was going to stain them with their hate. So.. He smirks with a tilt of his head, black eyes scanning the stranger up and down. "Might do to ask her yourself. Though after I go home and tell her some punk called me a gutter child.. My dad's gonna come find you first. Sure he'll enlighten you."

Chapter 1/3
(Gen, teenage Matt Murdock)
In O & M, Ms. Lucero taught Matt to hold his cane like a pencil, directing it with his index finger to give him control. He swings the cane to the right when he steps forward with his left foot, then swings it left when he steps with his right foot. The counterintuitive rhythm took a while to master. But he mastered it.
There’s no one else to take care of him, not unless you count Stick. And Matt’s not sure if he does.
He pulls open the heavy bodega door and carefully finds his way to the deli counter and grill at the back. Today is the first day of the month. The church gets to keep Matt’s Social Security Disability payments, but Sister Mary Ignacia always slips him some cash; he has four fives folded lengthwise in his pocket and he plans to spend one on a sandwich and a Snapple from the cold case.
The bodega is crowded. Whoever is on the grill today is talking loudly in Spanish with some other guys. Matt hears a clutter of overlapping heartbeats and starts to get overwhelmed. Who’s on line to order and who is waiting for their food and who is just here hanging out? Where should he stand? Do they see him already?
Stick gave him a breathing exercise to calm him down at times like this, but Matt can’t remember it. There is no reason for him to be here; they’ve got peanut butter back at St. Agnes’s. He turns around, reorients himself to the aisle, and taps himself back to the front of the store.
“Hey, kid,” a voice calls. “Blind kid. Hold up. I got you next!” But Matt is already pushing his way out the jangling door like a weirdo. Right foot, tap. Left foot, tap. Half-running. He trips over something he should have found with his cane, and goes sprawling. His palms sting.
No matter how fast he is, he can’t get away from himself.
::::
When he first got discharged from the hospital, different neighbors would take turns coming to sit with him while his dad was at work. “What do my eyes look like?” Matt asked Trang from 4D. One year older than him, raspberry-scented body wash, playing her GameBoy Pocket on the other end of the couch.
“They’re brown,” she said without pausing her game.
“Yeah, duh. But do they look weird? Or normal.
“Normal.”
“Do they look different at all? If you didn’t know me, would you think I could see?”
“I guess.” Trang’s breathing maintained its steady in and out. Link’s ocarina played a song. “Maybe if I wasn’t really paying attention.”
“What if you were paying attention?”
“Then I’d probably know. Because you don’t really look at things, do you?”
“Oh. Right,” Matt said.
::::
His life should feel so different now from what it used to be. But a lot of things are still the same. He still goes to City Knoll Middle School in the P.S. 111 building on West 53rd. He confesses his sins to the same priests and attends catechism class with the same kids from the neighborhood. He's known Nico Persiani by sight for years – he's the kid with the white cane and the extra-thick but mostly useless glasses. But the two of them never really talked until Matt moved to St. Agnes’s.
Now that they live in the same dorm, Nico wants to be friends. And he never shuts up. He tells Matt all kinds of personal stuff. That he’s twelve, too, and his corrected vision is 20/300 in his better eye. That his dead mom was from St. Thomas, in the Caribbean, that his white dad surrendered parental rights, but sends guilty letters when he’s drunk that the nuns love to read out loud. That the new Star Wars movie sucked, but Ewan MacGregor is actually a better Obi-Wan than Sir Alec Guiness was. That his favorite food is sushi and his favorite color is yellow.
Then, he stops himself. “Oh, man. Sorry. I’m not trying to be a jerk about it.”
“It’s cool. You’re allowed to have a favorite color.”
Matt listens to Nico’s heartbeat and the squeak of thin-soled sneakers on the linoleum as the other boy awkwardly shifts his weight. It is garbage day and the smell drifting in through the cracked window is terrible. The ceiling fan stirs the hot air, but the pressure tells Matt it’ll rain tonight. The A uptown express is passing through the tunnel under their feet and some of the older girls are in the rectory, playing Janet Jackson’s “Together Again” on repeat while they practice their routine for the dance team.
Matt’s head hurts, like it always does now, and every inch of his skin hurts. His heart hurts, too, a pain that feels real and grounded in the body. And Nico feels bad for him because he can’t see colors.
“I heard what happened to you,” says Nico.
“I know,” says Matt. Everyone has.
::::
He used to get comped tickets for Battlin’ Jack Murdock’s boxing matches. He’d sit alone in the front row and watch the fight, but in between rounds, he’d turn around and watch the crowd. Old people. Young people. Mostly men, but some women mixed in. Rich and poor, shoulder to shoulder. He’d watch their faces and body language, notice the clothes they wore, make up stories about them. Who was from out of town. Who didn’t like violence. Who had bet on the loser.
He can’t do that anymore. Now, people watch him.
::::
He notices the different ways Stick uses his cane against different surfaces. One minute, his teacher might let it skim delicately over the sidewalk, then the next, he’ll slam it against the side of a newspaper box or drag it skittering over a subway grate. Sometimes there’s a long, long wait between taps, as if Stick has actually forgotten this tool that Ms. Lucero says should function as an extension of the arm. Other times, Stick holds the cane in his fist, perpendicular to the concrete, and he brings the tip down with a hard rap, like he’s trying to poke a hole in the street. BANG. It makes Matt jump.
Maybe Stick is listening for the echoes. Maybe he’s just trying to get people’s attention so they’ll get out of his way. Matt’s not stupid enough to think that Stick doesn’t always know exactly what he’s doing. But he can’t help thinking about how it must look to anyone watching. He remembers how he used to stare at Nico, before. He knows that when he and Stick are out in public, eyes are always on them. And Stick doesn’t look very respectable. Yes, that’s why the unusual cane technique bothers him so much. Because it seems sloppy. Inconsistent.
"You get around so good,” Matt says, clothing his concern in a compliment. “Do people ever think you’re faking it?”
“Nope,” Stick says shortly. “My eyes look funny. Cataracts. You know what that is?”
“Um. Not really.”
Stick grunts. That’s his version of a shrug, a noise Matt knows means that he’s not interested in explaining further.
He grunts a lot.
::::
Matt is still painfully slow at Grade 2 contracted Braille. It takes him a long time to get through anything, so he also checks out textbooks on tape from the National Library for the Blind – each book is dozens of cassette tapes – and stays up late with his headphones, reading them both ways, over and over. His fingers tingle and his muscles are sore from training, but he is slowly getting better at everything, even if there is no one to notice or care. Matt’s IEP specifies that he should always be seated in the front of the classroom. So he can hear the teacher better? So he can find his seat easier? So someone in charge can always be watching him? He’s not really sure what the rationale is. He feels exposed.
Today, when he gets to pre-algebra, someone is sitting in his reserved seat. Matt knows it’s Brett Mahoney, one of the popular kids. He can smell the wintergreen Altoids Brett is always chewing on. He lets his cane knock into Brett’s foot and the other boy jumps up quickly.
“Oh! Sorry, man. I honestly forgot.” Then, after a pause, “Um, you know you have, like, a nasty cut? On your face?”
“Yeah,” Matt says. “Believe it or not, you are not the first person who has mentioned it. Also, I can feel it. I’m not stupid.”
“OK,” says Brett. “You know it’s bleeding, though, right?”
“It’s bleeding now?” Matt lifts his hand to his brow to check and to his surprise, his fingers come away sticky.
So that’s how Brett ends up escorting him to the nurse’s office.
“What happened, anyway?” Brett asks on the way back. Matt hates having to depend on another middle school boy for sighted lead. He doesn’t want anyone to tease Brett, so he keeps as much space between them as possible, his fingers barely touching Brett’s bicep, but Brett doesn't seem too worried about it. And it’s nice that he isn’t assuming Matt walked into something or fell down, the way the nurse just did.
Obviously he can’t explain about Stick, though. “I was fighting,” he says. It is true.
“Did you win?”
No.”
::::
Is Stick good-looking? It's really hard to guess. He’s old and crotchety, but he could be handsome in a rugged way, Matt thinks. Anything is possible. Clearly some women like him, like Sister Dora, whose pulse picks up when Stick comes to fetch him.
“Do you have a girlfriend?” Matt asks him.
Stick ignores the question. “Time for you to get outta here, kid. I got another student coming in 10 minutes.”
Matt feels obscurely jealous. “He’s blind, too?”
“She,” Stick corrects. “No.”
“Huh.” Matt puts the escrima sticks back in their case. “Can she do all the things I can do?”
“She’s much better than you.”
“Does she work harder than me?”
“No. No one does. She’s just better.” He knocks his hand into Matt’s shoulder, a soft blow or a rough pat. “Haven’t I taught you yet that life isn’t fair?”
He didn’t need Stick for that lesson.
::::
Sometimes Matt just walks. He walks east into the anonymous scrum of Times Square and finds his way to Broadway, following it down through Midtown, through Union Square, into the Village and Soho and then Chinatown. It feels good to stretch his legs and the smell of the egg doughnuts from the famous cart makes his mouth water, but all the knockoff perfume shops on Canal exacerbate his perpetual headache. He passes by the arch he remembers and begins to cross the Manhattan Bridge on the footpath. Trains pass on the left with a metal rattle so deep he can feel it in the roots of his teeth.
He doesn’t have a watch, but a subtle drop in temperature tells him that the sun is going down now, the river far below darkening in a way he remembers from outings with his dad when he was a little kid. Halfway across the bridge, he pulls up his hood and stows his folded cane in his backpack. No one here will know he’s supposed to need it.
Downtown Brooklyn roars around him. Cars are getting on and off the BQE. Matt finds his way to the steps that wind down to street level, but he is afraid to stray too far; he doesn’t know these streets at all, and he has no way to reorient himself if he screws up. The river and Manhattan are behind him, he remembers, at his 6:00.
Matt promises he’ll just walk to the next block, recite the Nicene Creed, then turn around, retrace his steps, go back across the bridge the way he came. Return to the orphanage, his neighborhood, his whole life. His blood is beating in his ears. Strangers shove past, taking no notice of him. He’s just a white kid in a hoodie, wearing sunglasses at night. His footsteps are silent without the echoing tap he’s gotten used to.
Turn around, he tells himself. Turn around.
But he keeps walking. He could disappear completely.
Notes:
It's strongly suggested in that Season 3 flashback that that Sister Dora teaches at St. Agnes's and Matt goes to school there, but I think it makes more sense for him and Nico to go to public school, given their accessibility needs.
I love Father Lantom, but I am confused about whether he was around when Matt was a kid, or if they just meet in Season 1, so I left him out.
I'm visually impaired/low vision. If anyone blind reads this, please please please tell me what you think.

more things i want from scream 6:
1) at some point a more modern cover of red right hand to play.
2) at least 10 mins screentime for kirby, albeit i completely understand why she can’t (and allegedly won’t) be a main character.
3) for us to see two killers working in tandem. it’s practically canon both billy and stu were at casey’s house, but we only ever see one ghostface on screen. which worked best for the first movie bc just there being two killers was a shock to the audience in 1996. mickey did most of the kills in scream 2, mrs. loomis’s probable only kill prior to mickey himself was randy so it’s unlikely there were any kills in tandem, scream 3 was all roman and scream 4 was the work of one or two large 6′5″ men throwing bodies thru the air who mysteriously shrank and became petite fairy-figured emma roberts and slim celery-stick-bodied rory culkin at the end. well. it was scre4m. distinctive kill styles suggest that both amber and richie were responsible for the hicks’ house slayings and tyler gillet stated (in regards to who killed who), “we have a bit of a roadmap. with the exception of the opening, which we think you could say was both of them, it’s mostly amber...”
so yeah, it’s pretty much canon that the ghostface killers have worked in tandem in at least several cases but we’ve only ever see one on screen (barring footage from in-universe fictitious stab openings in scre4m). i think it would be neat to actually see both of them working together in an attack. like maybe have a chase seen where the target character stuns the ghostface (with a phone again, even!) or outpaces them, and it looks like they’ve escaped-- only to run right into another ghostface.
3) more with the carpenter family. mama carpenter had scenes in the scrapped first script of scream (2022) and i would rly want to see her onscreen!!! but at the very least more of the sisters interacting, pls, pls. i need it.
4) MINDY LIVES AGAIN.
5) gale and kirby interaction.
6) pls no love interest for sam. ik there’s speculation that one new guy with the srsly srs face is her bf or smth and, uh?? no? pls no. sam remember what happened the last time u had a bf.
7) on that note, the above mentioned guy with the srsly srs face whose name is...*opens tab* david? uh...idk kinda want him to die. let’s kill off david.
8) apparently ghostface with a shotgun at the bodega was a bonafide leak!!! so i 100% want frightened shoppers throwing produce at the ghostface. would 100% love if some of it hits, if they just get bonked in the head with a pineapple or honeydew or smth.

In The Heights: A Movie Musical
Tumblr media
*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE 2021 FILM IN THE HEIGHTS*
Synopsis
Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes’ hit musical In The Heights takes to the big screen in this John Chu-directed adaptation. The film opens with the words “¿Qué quiere decir sueñito?” written across a black screen as the voice of a child asks “What does sueñito mean?” Another voice, which we later learn is Usnavi, answers: “¿Sueñito? It means ‘little dream’.” The scene changes to the sight and sound of waves crashing against the shore, before showing Usnavi surrounded by children at his beachside bar. “That’s it? No story?” one of the boys questions him (In The Heights 0:27-0:48). Usnavi concedes and all of the children take a seat to listen to his story about “a far away land called Nueva York” (In The Heights 1:11-1:13).
Recounting his days running a bodega in Washington Heights with his cousin, Sonny, he slowly introduces the other central characters of the story. Abuela Claudia, who never had any children of her own, has become the matriarch of the entire block and religiously buys lottery tickets from the bodega. Kevin Rosario, owner of the successful cab company “Rosario’s Car Service”, Usnavi’s old friend Benny, who works dispatch for the cab company, and the salon ladies, Daniela, Carla, and Cuca, all come in daily for coffee and lottery tickets. Another regular customer is Vanessa, Usnavi's crush, whom he often gives free coffee to. Meanwhile, Nina Rosario, Kevin’s daughter, has just arrived home from her first year at Stanford.
Although Usnavi loves the bodega, he dreams of returning to the Dominican Republic to restore the bar that his father used to own. After purchasing the bar, he makes plans to leave New York. Vanessa, too, dreams of leaving Washington Heights to become a fashion designer. Her hope of renting an apartment downtown is dashed when the real estate agent says she will need someone to cosign the lease. Nina, on the other hand, wants to come back home. The lack of community and the racism she faced at school lead to her decision to drop out of school, despite Usnavi’s assertion that she was the top student during their school days together. The salon ladies, meanwhile, are being forced out of the community due to the rising cost of rent on their salon space. When Usnavi finds out that a winning lottery ticket was purchased at his bodega, everyone dreams of what $96,000 might mean for them.
The sense of community is strong throughout the movie, but never more than in the striking image of the entire barrio gathered outside of Abuela Claudia’s apartment, holding candles and singing “Alabanza” during the blackout. In a moment that Abuela Claudia would have been proud of, Usnavi asks Daniela whether she would be willing to cosign on Vanessa’s apartment. She agrees, allowing for Vanessa’s dream of moving out of Washington Heights to be fulfilled. Nina is inspired to return to Stanford when she finds out that Sonny’s dream of attending college has been crushed due to his undocumented status. Benny vows to follow her to California so they can be together. The day before Usnavi is set to leave for the Dominican Republic, he finds the winning lottery ticket in Abuela Claudia’s room – addressed to him. Using the lottery ticket, he asks Alejandro, his lawyer friend, to begin Sonny’s citizenship application process and open a trust for Sonny with the remaining money.
On the morning Usnavi is set to leave, he runs into Vanessa, who wants to show him something inside of the bodega. She has created a line of fashion, her first since a creative block that began when she moved to her new apartment, but what really moves Usnavi is the mural Graffiti Pete has painted on the wall – the image of his father’s beachside bar. Usnavi decides to stay, and we realize that he has been telling this story from inside the bodega all along. Among the children sitting in front of him is his own daughter with Vanessa, Iris. The film ends with a triumphant declaration from Usnavi, holding Vanessa and Iris beneath the spray of water in the streets of Washington Heights: “I’m home!” (In The Heights 2:14:51).
