#no, but the way sami hesitates in saying something before he says “cause i feel bad” is so interesting to me. because he obviously has something else in mind, something else he wants to say to jey then. but when he’s faced with jey in his face like this, almost challenging him with the way he quite literally closes in on sami, when he’s faced with this version of jey who is now on a different side to him, this version of jey who is now technically the enemy, he can’t bring himself to be all the way vulnerable with him. he can’t let his guard down too much with him anymore, because he knows it can be used against him like it already has been in the past. he knows he’s at risk of getting hurt again here, and i don’t mean physically. so he settles on something else. something he knows isn’t enough. something he probably even knows might piss jey off because not only is it a cop-out answer, but it’s essentially admitting pity to someone who he knows is so headstrong and so proud. sami’s response here ultimately means nothing because his body language says everything his words don’t. but sami wasn’t expecting jey to ask him this question so he didn’t have an answer prepared. he didn’t have a plan for this confrontation beyond saying what he needed to say about roman. he didn’t expect jey to ask him why he cared. to push for a response. and he visibly panicked. and i think that, personally, says it all.

au where eddie is a classic motorcycle guy. he started with a hand-me-down harley, learned how to fix up choppers and opened his own shop once he had enough saved up. he has a disdain for the newer bikes, the loud sport bikes that zip through traffic like they don't have to follow the rules, the riders in blacked out visors and trendy racing suits that try to race him when they both get stopped at a light. they unnerve him, annoy him, get under his skin and have him rolling his eyes because they can't appreciate the classics.

steve is a sport bike guy. he's a proud suzuki owner with a dark blue suit to match his bike, likes to speed around the corners of the backroads no one goes on and feel the adrenaline coarse through his veins when he hits speeds he probably shouldn't. he knows it isn't a classic bike, knows that most bike shops don't take him and his fancy non-american made bike seriously. he expects shops to turn up their nose at him when he needs things fixed.

but then steve stumbles in eddie's shop. his accelerator is starting to stick and it's scaring even him, so he takes it to the first shop he can find when he's out for a drive in a podunk town and hopes they'll take him. and eddie turns up his nose and almost kicks him out until he takes the pretty bike guy's eyes into account, lets his own eyes trail over the way his dark blue suit clings to all the right places. matches pretty bike guy's smirk with one of his own and invites him into the office while his guys work on his bike.

eddie decides after, when steve's back on the road after a race around the backroads and more than a few purpling bruises on his neck, that he doesn't hate all the people who drive sport bikes, especially when they can kiss as well as steve can.

Forget about gritting your teeth through someone's media analysis that is egregiously incorrect. Some character/story analyses I see on here are literally just verbatim re-tellings of what happened in the story - the literal things you are supposed to understand, and the connections you're supposed to make to get what is happening - and they're phrased as crazy theories or analyses. And I just want to scream, because no, you're not weird or 'reaching' for coming to that conclusion, that is quite literally the exact thing the story was trying to tell you. You are stating blatant fact as some incredible discovery. Like that person who thought Lucy Gray Baird saying she was 'going to find Katniss' was "an accident" or maybe they were crazy. But I guess everyone's gotta start somewhere, even if you think saying 'did anyone else ever realise that Darth Vader's theme plays when Anakin does something evil???' is some mind-blowing observation. Like, shit, in a world where media literacy is so sorely lacking, quite literally witnessing a story and noticing details of it is considered analysis. Whatever.

you try to cause problems and get them to think your too much work but they just think your escape attempts are cute. the other acolytes do not.

you are constantly causing problems for them n bullying them but they can't do anything bc your favored by Darling.

also reader constantly trying to bite darling + the tsaritsa when their being affectionate but they just think your play biting bc its like being stabbed by a wet noodle. keep doing it long enough and they'll start biting back though. gonna walk out looking like you just got mauled

also darling only letting you feed from them or the tsaritsa. they say it's bc you deserve only the best of the best, but your 99% sure it's because their blood, and the tsaritsa's to a lesser extent, makes you drowsy and docile. it's addicting too.

you managed to run away a total of once, and the moment you tried to drink any blood other then theirs, it made you sick.

so now you just angrily seethe in darlings palace while they coo about how cute it is when you pout. everything you do is cute to them. biting?? just play bites. your fangs aren't even strong enough to break their skin, and theirs are so much bigger then yours. they just find it adorable. most of all they find your blood drunken state directly after feeding adorable too. they get to pamper you and be as affectionate as they please without you biting and twisting about. if you drink darlings blood, doubly so, as you seek out affection. nuzzling into their palms and being so sweet for them..
