The Aster set by @serenity-cc has caught my eye a long time ago so I have finally gotten around to converting it (while this post was sitting in my drafts, I realized that @platinumaspiration has already converted this bra, so please check out their awesome work here) ♥

I also thought that the comfy undies by @landgraabbed went perfectly with the rest of the set, so you can have them as well! I went ahead and added the Lou socks by @sforzcc cause they're my favorite thing in the world, no joke ✨

The set comes with the gorgeous Celia bra (TF-EF, 9 swatches), Comfy undies (TF-EF, 10 swatches) and Angela pants (TF-EF, 7 swatches) that I have paired with these bunny slippers originally converted to Sims 2 by @veranka-downloads. 🐇

The items are texture based on base game body meshes, from teen to elder, both morphs, the bra and the undies are in the pyjama and undies categories and the pants are bottom only pyjamas. So that means you need the Seapartes4All mod for them to appear and then you can combine them however you like! Everything's compressed, enjoy! ♥

Here's two different replacements for the base game lab coats because @episims and I seem to have no self control.

First option: umbodylabcoat (TM-EM) replaced with an open lab coat, to match my ufbodylabcoat default. It's a mashup of @deedee-sims 3t2 Esmeralda's Coat and @mdpthatsme 4t2 Pants Dress, with textures by Trapping, Rope and Epi (who made the white coat texture, and also made pockets! 🤩). Around 4K polys (for reference, Maxis lab coat has 2K); has fat morph, but no preg morph.

Second option: umbodylabcoat (TM-EM) and ufbodylabcoat (TF-EF) replaced with MDP 4t2 Doctors and @moyokeansimblr age conversions, with new recolours by Epi. And finally: two versions of the same mod, by Epi. Originally, the two recolours of the lab coat were assigned to sims according to their career level. With this mod (both v1 and v2), sims on the Medicine career will use one of the recolours (green top/shirt if you use these defaults), and sims on the Science career will use the other one. The alternative version of the mod (v2) also makes theorists in the Science career use the mad scientist outfit. Apparently, theorists used to wear some leather jacket? Thank you, Maxis.

hi, i have a miguel request! love your writing and thank you so much for taking on all these requests ♥️

miguel knows reader has a crush on them because he can hear their heart picking up everytime they're close and he likes them to. they're cordial and friendly with each other because the reader wants ro respect miguel's boundaries and miguel's not sure reader would want to be with someone that has his baggage. however he can't help but be a little touchy with them somtimes (little things - like moving them out of his way with a gentle hand on the waist, webbing their chair and pulling them closer to show them something, standing a little too close when they talk or picking something from a higher shelf from RIGHT behind them) he feels guilty and like an ass too because he knows the effect he has on reader but isn't (planning on) acting on it. (reader is also quite professional, except for the occasional blush there's no other indication that they like miguel, no one would really know if it wasn't for their superpowers) they are also not a spiderperson so miguel is extra hesitant to get involved with a regular human.

this is until reader and him are in a compromising situation where they're hiding or sneaking around for some mission and miguel puts his hand over reader's mouth on instinct in the middle of them talking when he senses someone nearby and hisses something vaguely authorative (maybe like quiet down now or shut up works too) and they're already pressed together agains a wall (miguel's protecting reader in case things go south) he not only hears their heart pick up but senses that they're aroused too and he can't really stay professional anymore :))

There was an unspoken thing between you and Miguel, a feeling of uncertainty as if there's something often left unsaid. You and Miguel had a professional yet, flirtatious dynamic— a connection filled with friction, tension and longing.

You liked Miguel, you liked him a lot, but you were proficient. You knew better than to give into a silly little work crush, especially one that is unlikely to be reciprocated. You hid your desire for him well, concealed every reaction when he'd enter a room, every giggle when he'd ask you about your day. It wasn't always easy to disguise your feelings, sometimes your body would betray you, and you'd blush or smile when he looked your way. 

Miguel was often an enigma to you. He could be so distant and cold, yet so tender and sweet. He would show little gestures and remarks that were tricky not to overthink. He would frequently lay a gentle hand on your lower back to get past you or web your chair to bring you to him. Moments when Miguel stood so close behind you, his torso would be flush to your back as he'd help you reach from a high shelf, or times when his gaze would flicker to your lips in the midst of conversation. He'd do seemingly little and harmless things that often confounded you. It felt like he was battling his feelings and instincts, which ultimately made it confusing for you. 

You were unsure where you stood with him. Some days he'd be touchy and flirty and on others, bitter and uninterested. You knew Miguel had a troublesome past, so you were patient. You were aware of the struggles he had gone through, and you understood why he was so hesitant when initiating something new. 

So today, when you two were assigned to go on a mission to another dimension, you were naturally wary about the situation. You and Miguel have never been on a task together, so you were uncertain how he would act when it was just the pair of you, what version of himself he would be. 

Unfortunately for you, he was back to his cold self. Frankly, you were sick of being left astray and you wanted to express it.

"What is your problem?" you ask, emphasising your frustration. "You won't even say two words to me— Miguel?" you frown, chasing after his long strides. "What's your issue with me?" you ask, eyes squinting.

He avoids your questioning, continuing his quickened pace down the dark streets of Brooklynn. "I haven't got one," he mumbles, looking over his shoulder to you before resuming his visual assessment of the area.

"Miguel," you repeat, speaking louder and more agitated, tugging on his arm, trying to halt him. "There clearly is,"

"Can you not talk for a second," he murmurs, keeping his eyes glued ahead. 

"Don't tell me to shut up,"

"I didn't. I told you to stop talking," Miguel's features pull together in annoyance, stalking towards you, gripping your arm. 

"What are you doing?" 

"Shut up," he repeats, his eyes firm as he pulls you into the nearby alley, immediately caging you against the wall. "Just— quiet, please," he says softly. He covers your mouth, holding his palm over your chin, muffling your words as he stares down at you. His eyes are vigilant and gallant, almost like he's trying to protect you. "Just shush one second," he whispers, leaning to your ear. 

At that moment, you knew your gag was up. Your heart was wildly thumping in your chest, and you knew Miguel was aware of the effect he had on you. He didn't need to say anything— his cocky expression told you all you had to know.

"They gone?" you muffle in his palm, looking up at him eagerly.

He nods once, keeping his hand over your mouth, gazing down at you with lustful eyes. "They're gone," he whispers, slowly sliding his hand to your jaw, cupping your face upwards. "They're gone, querida." (darling) Miguel says quietly, his voice hoarse as he leans in, hesitantly brushing your lips with his like he was debating with himself.

The door of the empty and quiet apartment opens.

"Bellllaaaaaa! I am home!" Dazai calls out slightly in a loud tone as he hungs his sand brown coat on the hanger and skips to your shared bedroom where he is greeted with his one and only's sleeping position.

Dazai quietly walks over to your body. His tall height stands over your figure as all of a sudden he starts massaging his fingers in a fast movement making you jolt up laughing.

"RAHHHHH- DAZ--HAHAAphdhegtd-" you tried choking out as dazai ferociously kept tickling you here and there while you ran around the apartment.

Just a couple, and their lighthearted times where they forget everything but their love for each other!!

Finally after hours of childish antics you fianly begged him to stop which he onyl stood up with a face of triumph.

Later that night your dried tears of pure laughter glistened on your face which was buried in his warm chest protecting you from any sort of dangers. He only smiled at you as he rubbed your back with a relaxed smile like that of a parent when they see their child's happy face after reading them a story

"You're so annoying..." you pouted out with a flustered face, clearly shy to admit you have a sensitive body as you digged your face deeper into his chest.

Alright, let's fucking GOOOO~

Starting off with my current "workhorse" pens - I have like *checks notes* 36 fountain pens and a bit too many inked up atm, but these are just the ones I'm currently reaching for or have inked up more often than not:

TWSBI Go (F): Kinda ugly! But also kinda cute! It's cheap and works great (I friggin love TWSBI pens tbh) and it has a little hole on the cap where you can attach a lanyard or charms, like I did! Makes it cuter imo and it's kind of my emotional support pen these days.

Opus88 Pocket (EF): This 2022 edition has a little Moon tarot design on the cap so it's pretty much the pen I use exclusively for my witchy/tarot practice journals! A lil bummed the cap doesn't post, especially since its a shorter pocket-sized pen, but not a deal breaker and I still love it.

Pilot Custom 823 (F): My grail pen that I've literally coveted for years and just recently acquired at the DC Pen Show this weekend! It's only been a day but I think it could potentially become my favorite pen. Ever.

Pilot Prera (CM): This is my third Prera lol. I just think they're great and really underrated pens! Also a recent acquisition from the DC Pen Show and this cursive M nib is suuuuper fun to write with.

Pilot Vanishing Point (EF): My favorite pen for planning! Super fine-tipped for writing task lists and schedules and love that it's so convenient/quick-draw with the click mechanism.

Journals/Planners/Notebooks under cut–

Sterling Ink B6 Common Planner: For a good chunk of this year, I was in this planner because I honestly love the size and all the layouts. Super practical and flexible as a system. 10/10 would go back. I've used it to plan, as a reading journal, as a tarot log...

But I get the itch to move around so it's been sitting a little unused since like June, oop.

Leuchtturm A6: I started craving something tiny and minimal so I've been bullet journaling in this pocket notebook for the last month or two and I'm really enjoying it!

Standard-sized Tomoe River Paper notebook: This is pretty consistent in that I don't change up the system itself, but I'm in and out of it for memory keeping/scrapbook journaling! It's almost always a Tomoe River paper notebook of SOME kind that I usually buy in A5 size to go to FedEx and get it cut down to standard. Though I'm thinking of getting a blank Midori MD A5 to have cut down next time - I've been liking the freedom of blank pages for journaling instead of anything lined or gridded.

I really need to catch up with it tbh, but I love sitting in an explosion of printed photos, stickers, and washi and going ham with the pages.

Midori MD Cotton B6 Slim: I also have this sketchbook that sorta turned into a visual sketch diary of sorts. I fell off a while ago but want to get back into it because it's super fun to work in and to look back on!

Wide-sized Cosmo Air Light notebook & A5 Filofax Malden: These are my tarot/witchy journals. Grimoires I guess? One is for journaling and all my messier notes while the other is more for reference and ease of organization.

A5 Leuchtturm: I didn't know if I should include this guy, but I've been writing it in a lot recently so I guess I will lol. This is like truuuly a miscellaneous™ notebook.

I got this A5 notebook back in 2017 to use as my very first bullet journal, then found out that this size is personally waaaay too big for me to use as a bullet journal so I hopped off of it pretty quick. It now sits on my desk because since it's mostly blank I'll just pick it up to use it to write literally A N Y T H I N G.

Most recently, I wrote like 5 pages in one night on notes for a fanfiction piece I was working on (I'm not a writer, this fic is never gonna see the light of day by anyone but me lololol. Hyperfixation is so wild; I've put 80k+ words within just 10 days into it so far and it's been hella therapeutic.)

It's funny because I actually have a NEW notebook arriving tomorrow that I'm going to try out as a bujo/commonplace/omni journal of sorts?? I might write an update post after I've set that up and see how I like it <3

them playing Go from One Piece opening 12. a game which originated in asia mostly known and popular in china, japan, and korea.

since zoro is japanese and robin is russian we can guess that zoro asked robin to play with him. robin beating him is so funny even the dog pity him. lol 😂

i can't, toie!!!! why would you animate them like a normal couple whose having a fun and casual date!!!!

this shot is very intentional and targets me for some reason. 😉🤔

toko is more connected to zorobin but why toie intentionally placed tama in the middle? tama's motif is green + purple zorobin's color and here she's looking more like their daughter. carrot's yukata is yellow-green with more greenish design - she's slightly far back and thin that you cant even notice her at first glance and the focus is more with zorobin + tama here.

if you are familiar with the rule of thirds in filmmaking some shots are purposely done for emphasis and show relations between subjects/objects in a frame.

to have a visual comparison, see sanami + toko and luffy/brook/chopper - the colors do not look harmonious. they were intentionally groups in 3s. carrot is straight behind tama that they look like one person.

sanami in the shot above parallel zorobin with a kid placed in between them. also, both couples in each sides of the picture.

while toko'a motif is red + pink, matching lunami in this pic. luffy yukata red + blue, nami's sky blue + pink patterns. for visualization, exchange luffy with sanji and you'll see what i mean with the colors matching the clothes.

anyway, someone in the animation dept is definitely hiding as a zorobin shipper for sure. 😂🤭🤫

specific images drawn originally in opposite positions or away from each other but if you flip and edited together they just happened to fit so well. ain't that too convenient 🥹🤔🤭

while zorobin over here looks pretty cozy in hindsight. you'll never know that it's not the original image.

the original image was with other characters but if you isolate, the emphasis on these two was undeniable.

take note of the placement of the characters to one another. their facial expressions and body language.

the hero is angry serious and his troubled damsel.

oda's no-romance-among-the-crew but keep drawing zorobin with subtle lover undertones will be the death of me. 🙄😫🤡

if this is not one piece, this image on the right is a common trope in storytelling mostly seen in movie posters or book covers. right in the center is the hero and then the woman at the side is the love interest.

and mind you this image is a cover spread during the enies lobby where robin bares her heart and the strawhats save her. and who got the last key that "freed" her?*cough*zoro*cough*

in my mind, all the images above are just so intentional that my instinct will point yup that's otp for sure. 😂🤭😅🤫🥲🤔

Okay, so does anyone actually know who Candy is? Yk, that one Candy person Kenji talks about in season one episode 7, when they're talking about what they're gonna do when they get home.

He says something like "Dad and Candy are away on business", and I'm wondering who the heck Candy is.

I would GUESS she's probably Daniel's girlfriend or something, but shouldn't Kenji have told the others, or at least mentioned, that he has a step mom? It might not be a stepmom if they're not married, but you get it.

The fact that Kenji just assumed everyone knew about who Candy was. That is so cute when you think about it.

So I haven't watched Spy Kids for probably 20 years? It came out in 2001, I never saw in theatres, but my stepbrother had it on VHS. I remember watching it several times when my step-mum and father first started dating but never after they moved into a house together, which I think cannot have been any later than 2003. The podcast How Did This Get Made just got me to watch 2004's Sleepover staring Spy Kids' Alex Vega, and it had me going 'man, I should rewatch Spy Kids, a film I used to love—hell I should watch all the Spy Kids movies because I've only ever seen the first and Robert Rodriguez is a director whose work I want to dive into' and since its 2023, with a little bit of effort I can easily do that. (Also, I always thought, based on a vague knowledge of their similar poster design, that Spy Kids 3D and The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl were the same movie, but apparently not! Also, Sharkboy et al. had a 2021 sequel? That was popular? And is getting its own sequel? Will have to investigate.) Thoughts on the opening ten minutes of my Spy Kids rewatch:

This production logo is so ugly it causes me physical pain. I hate this boy with his Kate Moss arms (Miraculous Ladybug arms, for you youngsters out there), his ugly beanie, and unbearable smirk.

Also, the telecine weave on the production logos is very noticeable, they're bouncing all over the place and it got me idly musing as to when more modern image stabilization techniques simply took that away. Not that we really noticed in 2001 because even with auto-tracking, gate-weave and other playback artifacts were just accepted as a given on your eight hundred pound convex CRT TV with 480 Ps of resolution that output enough radiation to kill grandma with a Jeopardy marathon. Do young people know about VHS tracking, auto or otherwise? Does the above paragraph make any sense to them at all? Do they know the pleasures of laying your hand on a still-warm television screen and having your whole body shiver as the static discharge runs through your unresistant flesh? Kids today with their big pants and their blue-tooth hula-hoops and their fancy PSPs just can't understand.

The opening shot of the movie is so under-exposed (or, more likely, over-exposed and then over-corrected in post) that Rodiguez's 'written and directed' credit is unreadable. You can see its blur to the right of the red 'FILM' there. It's so bad I thought there was something wrong with my copy so I... uh... found a new copy with a larger file size and it turns out that, nope, it actually just looks like that. Even in fancy 1080p this is just a terrible ærial shot. There's some fantastic shots and cuts in this film so to open with such a stinker is bizarre. Was it bad coverage that day, only one good shot in the can, did somebody fuck-up the film in the lab? I am curious.

Carla Gugino is so cute in this movie it's criminal. Not to be a lesbian but oh my god oh my fucking god. 12 year-old me was all about Carmen but adult me just wants 90 straight minutes of Carla Gugino in casualwear wandering around her lovely home smiling coyly. I would buy a BluRay player to own that movie on BluRay. I'd not picked-up that she played the mom on The Haunting of Hill House because she had long styled hair instead of this absolutely flawless textured pixie cut. 10/10, no notes.

I would like to spend an hour talking about the incredible tilework in that bathroom and nothing but the incredible tilework in that bathroom. I will update you if the film has any further shots of the incredible tilework in that bathroom but I fear it does not. As as an aside, kind of furious that this film was not more influential in the field of home decor. Two decades of effing shiplap and cold grey suburban blandness—what if we'd given up on bloated cookie cutter micro-mcmansion shitboxes and instead gone all-in on brightly coloured Andalusian rough plaster and stonework? What if we all had great tilework in our bathrooms, like the kitchen sink in Howl's Moving Castle?

You know what I mean, you depraved tile nerds.

I don't want you to think Antonio Banderas is not also a total smokeshow in this movie. Because boy howdy. He's a goddamn hunk.

There's a four-second long shot of Banderas flicking this ring box along the coping of the Eiffel Tower balustrade, and all I can think of how hard it was to get to get that box to stay in a straight line, how completely frictionless the box must be (did he shellac it?), and if his marriage prospects would have been ruined had it—in all rational likelihood—gone flying off the railing and smashed into the Champs de Mars.

You know you're in for a rollicking good time when the helicopter perfectly slices-off the stone heads of the two statues, but it's the padre giving the benediction while attack choppers go roaring over head that gives you chills.

A particular shout-out to this lovely unnamed bridesmaid on the left here who not only takes 'putting a parachute on the bride' in stride but looks gleeful and fabulous doing it. Where's her movie?

In 2001 we really thought computers were going to be cool and fun instead of machines that sold our personal lives to corporations and gave children crippling anxiety disorders.

Carla Gugino has a track built into the floor so that her vanity-computer chair can slide backwards across the room so she can have face-to-face chats with her husband. From this we learn two things: 1) she does this so often she's automated it for maximum efficiency, and 2) Banderos, in an ordinary desk chair, never attempts (or knows better than to attempt?) the reverse.
