I know it's because she's an attempt at a main series Sunset Shimmer and because they eventually have her be Twilight's student, but man I don't quite see the point in having Starlight Glimmer be a Twilight Sparkle parallel

#sunset and twilight were very connected characters at least once sunset was introduced #they had a similar upbringing and similar beliefs and interests #but sunset grew resentful and bitter and tried to force herself to become an alicorn and abandoned celestia #while twilight could have done the same but celestia sent her to ponyville and helped her before it could happen #(citing friendship games bc i am a ''twilight could very easily be fucked up'' truther)#and twilight earned the right to be an alicorn. sunset ultimately never reaches that goal but she spiritually finds an equivalent #in friendship games when she does her cool ass magical girl transformation at the peak of her arc #starlight............ is purple with stripes in the hair like twilight. she uh. lost a friend or something.#she... needs to learn about having friends like twilight did... she uh. was a leader i guess but a mean one. she has magic that is strong.#and uh thats it. besides that theyre basically completely different except in design and name #and ngl i just kinda find that distracting. sunset was a parallel but she's still distinct from twilight in name and design #nor does she blend in with the other characters even tho shes also orange and yellow like applejack and fluttershy #bc she has her own distinct style separate from them #starlight has a different silhouette but besides that she just looks way too similar to twi and its distracting to me #they even lampshade it in season 7 lmao #echoed voice

I've come to the realization that I've known about mdzs for about 4 months and so far I've been juggling in my head 3 different songxuexiao fic ideas (ones actually not ship fic only about post canon song lan and inner turmoil which we love) and SOMEHOW all of them involve little kids to a certain degree, either raising them or having a group of little ducklings following u everywhere u go.

This is a first and a pattern I wasn't expecting but I guess I'm welcoming it!

Hi! Have you seen that nct jaehyun, dooyoung and jungwoo made a sub-unit? Their song is called perfume and it is just SO FUN! The song itself reminds me of some of the old suju songs because the beat is so fun and makes you wanna dance, but the choreography is also ridiculously fun! You should check it out) I was reading your posts about the lack of fun in kpop, and this was honestly very refreshing to see. The mini-album is also quite good, and they even did a live-band cover of their songs. As always, nct guys are incredibly talented musically, good job

Shoutout to my Dad's inversion table that he left in my room and takes up too much space. I covered it with my old ass Barbie blanket so my cats don't scratch at it and I'm hoping to sell it at some point for AT LEAST $300 it's super strong, nicely padded, hasnt been properly used for like 2 yrs, and is almost like new. Hopefully I can use that money to pay my way back from that college ordeal LOL

#ngl if i DID have to have heavy duty equipment in my room i would at least have a treadmill or something not a fucking inversion table #talkshow #im seeing on facebookmarketplace that theyre being sold for like $50-$100 BUT those are plastic #super thin. or made of medal framing+fabric(ew). and look flimsy #so yeah the one in my room is way nicer. cost my family over $300 and is extremely sturdy and bulky #I WANT MONEY #i have to come back twice for checkups at this random clinic and theyre charging me $50 each time for a drunkass doctor to prescribe me #medicine and thats on top of the $180 STANDARD fee.#im paying almost $300 for my injury IMSURE i can sell this thing for higher #my dad owes me for making me feel shitty my whole life I THINK!!#RIGHT RIGHT
