1. First things first, did you have a good year?

all in all this year wasn't bad, considering there was a pandemic. but I feel like I've grown a lot this year

7. Which fashion trends did you love?

I've become a bit obsessed with checked skirts and pinafore dresses 👀

8. Which fashion trends did you hate?

um idk? I never bother with trends I hate so I tend to forget what they are. like if I don't like something I'll just ignore it

9. What was your favorite article of clothing this year? Post a pic if possible?

there's like 3 hours left so not much. but like. I'm only a few minutes away from the beach. or I could disappear into the woods. who cares

49. What do you wish for others for the coming year?

well I wish good mental and physical health obviously, and love and happiness and financial stability

50. What do you wish for yourself?

same things I guess. and also more confidence especially when it comes to my art and writing, and some hot dilf to become obsessed with me or something

3. Most valuable record in your collection? Pretty sure I paid the most for "Harvest" by Neil Young but if that's also objectively the most valuable at the moment? Not sure... possibly.

7. When did you first start collecting? When I was ~15/16 I bought a couple of Elton John records, then later some Genesis stuff and then that was it for a long time until I finally got my own record player in 2019 and started collecting for real.

8. Artist/band whose records you buy the most? It's a pretty even mix across the artists that I like, though I do have a lot of Elton John records already and want to at least get all the 70s albums of his eventually. Same for Genesis.

10. Last record you bought? I bought a whole bunch in the Netherlands last week but technically the last two of those where "Crime of the Century" by Supertramp and "Déjà Vu" by Crosby Still Nash & Young.

35. Have you ever gotten any of your records/sleeves signed by artists? Nope and I doubt I'd ever get the chance lol

“Elizabeth,” Red opened the door, “this is not a good time.”

“I’ve been calling you all day. Dembe didn’t pick up.”

“Dembe didn’t pick up because we were busy.”

“Well, then you should have dug that chip out of your damn neck.”

Resigned, he stepped back and allowed her to come in. “Well, you’re here now, so what’s on your mind?”

“I…” Taking a seat on the couch, she watched as he downed his drink before pouring himself another. “You didn’t answer the phone.”

He nodded, dropping into the armchair across from her. “Yes, we’ve established that already.”

“It’s just… You always answer—or you at least get back to me.”

“Ah, I see.” He smiled, appearing curiously pleased. “You were worried about me.”

“I was not—“ Catching her own lie, she snapped her mouth shut. Then, shoulders slumping, she quietly muttered, “Is that so surprising?”

Sensing her change of mood, his features softened from smug to sincere. “I never want you to worry about me, and yet I’m happy you do, all the same.”

“So?” She cleared her throat, suddenly feeling awkward. “What were you so busy with, anyway?”

“Meetings to be held, deals to be made.”

She rolled her eyes at his characteristic obscurity. “And nothing went wrong this time?”

He took a generous gulp of his scotch.

“What is it?” she asked, narrowing her eyes.

“Hmm?”

“You’re avoiding my eyes, which means you’re hiding something.” She wasn’t sure whether she should feel worried or proud when his twitch confirmed her suspicion. “So, what aren’t you telling me?”

“There was a small moment of miscommunication.”

“Red.”

“A few shots were fired…”

“What?” She immediately came to a stand in front of him. “Are you hurt?”

“No,” he chuckled, and she breathed a sigh of relief—until he added, “Not really.”

“What the hell does that even mean?”

“Well, it was just a minor flesh wound—not much more than a scratch, I assure you.”

“Where—“ Scanning his body, she realized blood was dripping down his fingers. “You’re bleeding!”

“Ah, the stitches must have torn.”

“You need to take off your shirt.”

“I’m fine, Lizzy.”

“Now.”

“Really, Elizabeth—“

“Reddington.”

Pouting, he ignored her.

“If this is about your back, I already know.”

That got his attention.

Taking pity on his shocked state, she explained, “We were on the run together for months, Red.”

“Why didn’t you say anything?” he asked, voice barely more than a low rumble.

Shaking her head, she shrugged. “I didn’t see the need to.”

“You don’t have any questions?”

“Oh, I do,” she laughed, though it was void of mirth, “but they can wait.”

“… Until?”

“Until we’re ready.” When he didn’t say anything, she prodded, “Okay?”

He swallowed. “Okay.”

“Now, will you let me help you?” Without waiting for his reply, she gently tugged his jacket off, wincing at his bloodstained sleeve. “Scratch, my ass.”

Tilting his head, he arched his brows and smirked.

“Shut up,” she slapped his wound, immediately feeling bad but trying to hide it, “You know what I meant.”

🧡 - what were previous working titles/ideas?

Titles are really funny for me. They either take forever or I just know. With the pilot script I’m working on right now, I don’t think there was every another name. It was always The Phoenix Initiative.

❣️: which scene has been hardest to write so far?

I’m still in the plotpointing/structuring zone, and I think finding the best way to structure it has been the most difficult so far. It takes place in two different times (about 10 years apart, give or take) and the stories run parallel with each other. Making sure all the pieces fit, that the flow is right, and that I hit the beats for both story lines at the correct times is a new challenge. Once I get it right, though, it’s going to be fantastic :)

💞: which future scene are you looking forward to writing?

There’s a scene towards the end of the pilot two of the main characters receive information that is counter to what they’ve been operating with the entire episode. If it pans out the way I have it in my mind now, it’s going to be a very emotional scene.

💝: who has your favorite character arch? give a brief summary

That’s really tough to pin down, because I’m rather fond of all of my characters’ arcs. I’m going to go with Eleanor Mae though. She starts the series as a relatively innocent character and as naive as you can be as an intelligence officer. She comes from a long line of soldiers and has a lot of faith in the orders handed down. Her world is turned upside down when she finds out that the task force she’s been loaned out to isn’t actually working for the United States government, but is gathering intelligence and people of unique talents for their own gain. I’m excited to start in on her journey of learning who she can trust.

🥥 how many times i watched: I’m not exactly sure because sometimes I would just watch some of the episodes with friends who watched it for the first time. Like watching it with Caroline now I skipped season 1 and then joined her when Memerson showed up. But I recon I saw it in its entirety four times and then two or three times partially.

🎶 favorite theme/song on the soundtrack: tbh I don’t know any of the titles/themes on the score but just... the score is overall amazing and I would recommend the show just based on the music alone, that’s how good it is. As for songs used on the show my current top 3 would be Delicate, Make Your Own Kind Of Music (forever the best season opening scene ever!) and Shambala.

💦 my most burning unanswered question: is Benjamin Linus still sitting on the bench? I know there are many open threads and some people complain about things being unanswered but literally all I care about is Ben not being able to move on to the afterlife with his island husband.

🌪 what would i change in canon if i could: I’d make Ben and John fuck to resolve all the tension and rivalry. it would reduce the amount of murder between them significantly and they could rule that island together like the bisexual/gay solidarity kings they are supposed to be!
