Okay, so this is the kind of thing that would normally go in my yandere sideblog, but all Danganronpa stuff historically goes in my main, so here we go:

The fact that Izuru Kamukura as a person has only been alive for a few years could easily turn into a yandere agere scenario.

What I mean by this is, I could see Makoto (or another character, but since this is very similar to a line I expect to appear in a later chapter of "Property Rights...", I'm saying Makoto) at some point saying something along the lines of, "But since you aren't the same person as...whoever lived in this body before, and you have only been alive since the Kamukura Project, doesn't that make you, like...three years old, or something?"

And Kamukura coming back the next day like, "Naegi, you have made me realize that I want to be nurtured. Now you have to take responsibility."

This could be a purely Kamuegi thing or a shared thing for all the survivors. (For the purposes of this post, let's assume we're operating in the universe of "Property Rights...", in that they're living in the school, the killing game is over, Kamukura isn't letting them leave, and the group doesn't know all that much about him.)

This could be played for horror or for fluff.

Makoto and Hina both actually have a younger sibling, so they're the best at indulging him on a "Sure, I'll brush your hair," and "Sure, you can sleep in my bed," level. Hina sings him lullabies, and every now and then he'll say something like "You're flat," but it's just an observation; he also asks her to keep going. She plays catch with him, too. Makoto is the one he most frequently cuddles with, and he sits on his lap. It is impossible to pry him from these cuddles. Once, Makoto found himself trapped in a lengthy cuddle while in some isolated room, and he tried to go spend time with the others by lying that he had to use the restroom, but Izuru just went, "The last time you drank water was during breakfast, and you used the restroom an hour ago." They both fell asleep there.

Hiro is wary of Izuru (and they call him Izuru instead of Kamukura when he's being little) but takes a "In a weird way, he's kind of cute," tone about the whole thing. He tries to "teach" Izuru stuff relating to his clairvoyance, and Izuru's just like "That is not true." He tells stories about paranormal experiences he's had, and Izuru says, "Had your home been inspected for carbon monoxide?" He still likes it; occasionally, he seeks out Hiro's company and sits beside him like, "Tell me a ridiculous story."

Toko and Izuru tolerate each other when they're both in the mood to sit in silence. Syo is naturally the first to make it weird, with liberal use of the words "mommy" and "baby boy".

Kyoko and Byakuya are the strict ones. Kyoko is strict in a way that doesn't particularly challenge the agere aspect but more focuses on behaviors, like "Izuru, get off his lap; you're bigger than him." Byakuya is the one going "This is absurd," about the whole thing, but he uses the situation where it benefits him. For instance, he'll say, "I think it's naptime," when he's irritated with Kamukura.

My opinion on improving Yasuhiro Hagakure because him surviving despite not having a major impact fucked hard and Taka should have survived, this will get long

Look. Taka should have survived: that is my opinion. Yasuhiro surviving is the epitome of that meme of a kid doing nothing in a group project getting an A.

He also feels like major wasted potential to me? He's the Ultimate Clairvoyant with a 30% success rate??

Nah. Fuck that.

Give me Yasuhiro Hagakure who goes down the Kassandra route. Give me a Clairvoyant trapped in the narrative, who knows full on well how the trials go out but does nothing but ultimately they are all fixed on a course of fate, because everything will only go in one direction, because while hope can be kept, fate cannot be changed. Give me a Yasuhiro who comes up with the mose insane "future tellings" which use metaphors and twisted ways and absolutely tell me the future. Give me everyone ignoring the Kassandra, who mourns alone, who stays out of the battle between hope and despair, give me Yasuhiro going insane trying to keep himself on the right path. Give me the Celeste-Hiro-Taka murder where Yasuhiro looses it through stress and is fraying at the seams, give me another element of magic similar to Kyoko hearing the Reaper's Footsteps.

Give me that final scene where Yasuhiro confesses, where everyone realises how utterly bullshit this system of Ultimates are, the realisation that your greatest strengths bring you agony, that these titles are meaningless.

It would be better than what we got at the end

trying to think of ff thh-survivor dynamics are so funny because like on one hand they're all bound by circumstance and trauma but on the other hand if it weren't for (waves hand) all that they'd never be friends. at every get-together byakuya and aoi are frosty at best and ignoring each other at worst. hiro's trying to get kyoko interested in a fortune that she clearly doesn't believe in. every now and then someone says something that reminds them of one of their dead friends and they just all go silent for a full minute and quietly sip their drinks. they make plans to do it all again in a week, same time, same place

What do you think about tokos feelings towards the thh surviors and their feelings towards toko?

I've said it before but UDG makes it very obvious that Toko is an outcast among the survivors. It's not that they hate her(well Byakuya does but.) it's just that they think it's better to just leave her alone. So then no one really notices and no one steps in when the Future Foundation is mistreating her, and of course Toko never talks to them about it or asks for help because that's just not something she trusts them with. They leave Toko alone because she's difficult and distrusting of them but Toko is a person who waits for someone to earn her trust so.. they're never really gonna be friends with Toko if they aren't persistently trying to be her friend. And while Aoi and technically Makoto do try a bit to be her friend in THH they'd eventually just give up because there's easier people to hang out with.

It's not really anyone's fault, you can't blame Toko for being he way she is when she's been betrayed so many times in the past, and you can't blame the other survivors for not wanting to hang out with someone as unpleasant as Toko. Still, it would have been nice if someone pointed out that literally torturing a mentally ill young woman to use her as a weapon is Not So Great of the Future Foundation.

i think the idea of Byakuya being the one to step up to be the future foundation leader after Munakata makes sense. imo Makoto would want to be away from public eye after everything + Kyoko is a detective at heart and only leads when she needs to. to quote @izurulovesboats: “If he does not have his conglomeration from home, store bought is fine.”

HOWEVER, the survivors would absolutely need to put in a better checks and balances system than the previous iteration of the future foundation so something like Tengan and Munakata’s dynamic never repeats itself. all of them need to have the ability to usurp the leader’s power, because despite his development he’s still Byakuya Togami and has a massive ego. Aoi Asahina NEEDS to be able to kick his legs out from under him when he gets on a pedestal.
